| 2 | Spectra response from macromolecular structure evolution of tectonically deformed coal of different deformation mechanisms显示文摘Coals with different deformation mechanisms(brittle deformation,brittle-ductile deformation,and ductile deformation) repre-sent different ways in macromolecular structure evolution based on the metamorphism.The evolution of coal structure could affect the occurrence condition of coalbed methane(CBM) because the nanopore structure affected by macromolecular struc-ture is the most important reservoir for CBM.This paper analyzes the evolutions and mechanisms of structure and functional group of tectonically deformed coals(TDCs) collected from Huainan-Huaibei coalfield using X-ray diffraction(XRD),Raman spectroscopy,and Fourier Transform Infrared(FTIR) spectroscopy methods.The results show that the macromolecular struc-ture evolutions of TDC are different from the primary structure coal as a result of the different metamorphic grade and defor-mation mechanisms.The different deformation mechanisms variously affect the process of functional group and polyconden-sation of macromolecular structure.Furthermore,the tectonic deformation leads to secondary structural defects and reduces the structure stability of TDC.The coupled evolution on stacking and extension caused by the changes of secondary structural de-fects results from different deformation mechanisms.We consider that the changes of chemical structure and secondary struc-tural defects are the primary reasons for the various structure evolutions of TDC compared with primary structure coal. | LI XiaoShi JU YiWen HOU QuanLin LIN Hong | 2012 | Science China Earth Sciences2012,55,8: | 18 |

| 4 | Anti-hyperglycemic effects of dihydromyricetin in streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats显示文摘Dihydromyricetin(DHM),as a bioactive flavanonol compound,is mainly found in“Tengcha”(Ampelopsis grossedentata)cultivated in south of China.This study aimed to investigate the anti-hyperglycemic and antidyslipidemic activities of DHM using type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2D)rats,which was induced by feeding with high fat and fructose diet for 42 days and intraperitoneal administration of streptozocin.Forty-eight freshlyweaned rats were randomly assigned into the negative control(Blank),low dose(100 mg/kg),medium dose(200 mg/kg),high dose(400 mg/kg),and positive(40 mg/kg,met)groups.Fasting blood glucose and body weight were measured at weekly interval.Oral glucose tolerance tests were performed on days 42.The results revealed that DHM possessed significant antihyperglycaemic and antihyperinsulinemic effects.Moreover,after the DHM treatment,p-Akt and p-AMPK expression was upregulated,and glycogen synthase kinase-3β(GSK-3β)expression was downregulated,indicating that the potential anti-diabetic mechanism of DHM might be due to the regulation of the AMPK/Akt/GSK-3βsignaling pathway. | Maojun Yao Hui Teng Qiyan Lv Huifang Gao Tengming Guo Yiwen Lin Sihai Gao Meihu Ma Lei Chen | 2021 | Food Science and Human Wellness2021,10,2: | 6 |

| 6 | Quantification of viable bacteria in wastewater treatment plants by using propidium monoazide combined with quantitative PCR(PMA-qPCR)显示文摘The detection of viable bacteria in wastewater treatment plants(WWTPs) is very important for public health, as WWTPs are a medium with a high potential for waterborne disease transmission. The aim of this study was to use propidium monoazide(PMA) combined with the quantitative polymerase chain reaction(PMA-qPCR) to selectively detect and quantify viable bacteria cells in full-scale WWTPs in China. PMA was added to the concentrated WWTP samples at a final concentration of 100 μmol/L and the samples were incubated in the dark for 5 min, and then lighted for 4 min prior to DNA extraction and qPCR with specific primers for Escherichia coli and Enterococci, respectively. The results showed that PMA treatment removed more than 99% of DNA from non-viable cells in all the WWTP samples, while matrices in sludge samples markedly reduced the effectiveness of PMA treatment. Compared to qPCR, PMA-qPCR results were similar and highly linearly correlated to those obtained by culture assay, indicating that DNA from non-viable cells present in WWTP samples can be eliminated by PMA treatment, and that PMA-qPCR is a reliable method for detection of viable bacteria in environmental samples. This study demonstrated that PMA-qPCR is a rapid and selective detection method for viable bacteria in WWTP samples, and that WWTPs have an obvious function in removing both viable and non-viable bacteria. | 10 | State of charge estimation by square root cubature particle filter approach with fractional order model of lithium-ion battery显示文摘In this paper, a square root cubature particle filter approach was designed to estimate the state of charge of lithium-ion battery,which not only enhanced the numerical stability and guaranteed positive definiteness of the state covariance, but also increased accuracy and decreased computation quantity. Due to the fractional characteristics of the battery capacitance, a fractional order model was used to formulate the lithium-ion battery. Considering the high accuracy and easy convergence, a particle swarm optimization algorithm was utilized to identify the model parameters. The above-mentioned approach was modelled and translated into C code, which was downloaded into battery control unit of battery management system for experimental validation. Two kinds of dynamic cycles were utilized to validate the proposed approach at different temperatures, where both unscent Kalman filter and cubature Kalman filter were compared with the proposed approach. | 12 | Removal of Intralenticular Magnetic Foreign Bodies with Intraocular Magnet显示文摘Purpose: To investigate the possibility of conservation of the lens after removal of intralenticular magnetic foreign bodies with intraocular magnet.Methods: Intralenticular magnetic foreign bodies of 15 patients were removed by using an intraocular magnet. The lens of each injury eye was conserved. Follow-up observation of these cases ranged from one to four years.Results: The intralenticular magnetic foreign bodies of 15 patients were successfully removed.The lens of each injury eye was conserved and the transparence of the lens was properly maintained. Sizes of these foreign bodies were measured, ranging from 0.3 mm to 3mm in diameter. The follow-up observation showed that the corrected visual acuity of 14 cases was not changed after operation.Conclusions: The intraocular magnet is very helpful for removal of magnetic foreign bodies from the transparent lens. This magnet allows removing of the foreign body by the surgeon and no damage to the lens was induced during the operation. | 17 | Transcriptome and metabolome analysis reveal that oral secretions from Helicoverpa armigera and Spodoptera litura influence wound-induced host response in cotton显示文摘Cotton(Gossypium hirsutum)is an important fiber crop worldwide.Insect attack causes cotton yield and quality losses.However,little is known about the mechanism of cotton response to insect attack.We simulated insect feeding by applying insect oral secretions(OS)to wounds,and combined transcriptome and metabolome analysis to investigate how OS from two major pest species(Helicoverpa armigera and Spodoptera litura)affect cotton defense responses.We found that respectively 12,668 and 13,379 genes were differentially expressed in comparison with wounding alone.On addition of OS,the jasmonic acid signaling pathway was rapidly and strongly induced,whereas genes involved in salicylic acid biosynthesis were downregulated.On constructing a coexpression gene network,we identified a hub gene encoding a leucine-rich repeat receptor kinase that may play an important role in early signal recognition and transduction.OS from the two insect species altered the abundance of flavonoid-related compounds in different patterns.Gossypol remained in lower concentration after OS application than after wounding alone,suggesting a suppressive effect of OS on cotton defense response.This study illustrated transcriptional and metabolic changes of cotton in responding to OS from two chewing insect species,identified potential key response genes,and revealed evidence for OS inhibition of wounding-induced cotton defense response. | Huan Si Hongling Liu Yiwen Sun Zhongping Xu Sijia Liang Bo Li Xiao Ding Jianying Li Qiongqiong Wang Lin Sun Xianlong Zhang Shuangxia Jin | 2020 | The Crop Journal2020,8,6: | 1 |

| 20 | Kuroshio intrusion in the Luzon Strait in an eddy-resolving ocean model and air-sea coupled model显示文摘The Kuroshio intrusion in a quasi-global eddy-resolving model(LICOMH)and a fully air-sea coupled mode(LICOMHC)was evaluated against observations.We found that the Kuroshio intrusion was exaggerated in the former,while biases were significantly attenuated in the latter.Luzon Strait transport(LST)in winter was reduced from–8.8×106 m3/s in LICOMH to–6.0×106 m3/s in LICOMHC.Further analysis showed that different LST values could be explained by different large-scale and local surface wind stresses and the eddies east to the Luzon Strait as well.The relatively stronger cyclonic eddies in LICOMH northeast of the Luzon Island led to weak Kuroshio transport and strong intrusion through the Luzon Strait.The summed transport of all three factors was approximately 2.0×106 m3/s,which was comparable with the difference in LST between the two experiments.The EKE budget showed that strong EKE transport and the baroclinic transformation term led to strong cyclonic eddies east of the Kuroshio in LICOMH,while surface winds contributed little to the differences in the eddies. | Qian Yang Hailong Liu Pengfei Lin Yiwen Li | 2020 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2020,39,11: | 1 |
