| 3 | Structural Design and Numerical Analysis of a Novel Biodegradable Zinc Alloy Stent显示文摘Biodegradable zinc alloy stents are a prospective solution for complications caused by the incompatibility between artery and permanent stents.However,insufficient scaffolding has limited the clinical application of biodegradable zinc alloy stents.Therefore,in this study,a new stent concept was designed to improve the scaffolding.The mechanical performances of the new and a traditional design stent were investigated and compared using finite element analysis(FEA).The new and traditional design stent were expanded to the intended radial displacement of 0.24 mm under the expansion pressure of 0.58 MPa and 0.45 MPa,respectively.Then,a pressure load of 0.35 MPa was exerted on the outer surfaces of the two stents to compress them.The results showed that the radial recoiling ratio were 45.3%and 83.3%for the new and the traditional stent,respectively.The simulations demonstrate that the biodegradable zinc alloy stent offers enhanced support because of the new structural design.This study implies that biodegradable zinc alloy stent can be a new competitive intervention device for the future clinical cardiovascular application. | Kun Peng Aike Qiao Makoto Ohta Narendra Kurnia Putra Xinyang Cui Yongliang Mu Hitomi Anzai | 2018 | Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2018,,10: | 1 |

| 5 | Coronavirus Mask Protection Algorithm:A New Bio-inspired Optimization Algorithm and Its Applications显示文摘Nowadays,meta-heuristic algorithms are attracting widespread interest in solving high-dimensional nonlinear optimization problems.In this paper,a COVID-19 prevention-inspired bionic optimization algorithm,named Coronavirus Mask Protection Algorithm(CMPA),is proposed based on the virus transmission of COVID-19.The main inspiration for the CMPA originated from human self-protection behavior against COVID-19.In CMPA,the process of infection and immunity consists of three phases,including the infection stage,diffusion stage,and immune stage.Notably,wearing masks correctly and safe social distancing are two essential factors for humans to protect themselves,which are similar to the exploration and exploitation in optimization algorithms.This study simulates the self-protection behavior mathematically and offers an optimization algorithm.The performance of the proposed CMPA is evaluated and compared to other state-of-the-art metaheuristic optimizers using benchmark functions,CEC2020 suite problems,and three truss design problems.The statistical results demonstrate that the CMPA is more competitive among these state-of-the-art algorithms.Further,the CMPA is performed to identify the parameters of the main girder of a gantry crane.Results show that the mass and deflection of the main girder can be improved by 16.44%and 7.49%,respectively. | Yongliang Yuan Qianlong Shen Shuo Wang Jianji Ren Donghao Yang Qingkang Yang Junkai Fan Xiaokai Mu | 2023 | Journal of Bionic Engineering2023,20,4: | 0 |
| 6 | Safety and immunogenicity of inactivated SARS-CoV-2 vaccine in high-risk occupational population:a randomized,parallel,controlled clinical trial显示文摘Background: Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection and the resulting coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have a substantial burden on health-care systems around the world. This is a randomized parallel controlled trial for assessment of the immunogenicity and safety of an inactivated SARS-CoV-2 vaccine, aiming to determine an appropriate vaccination interval of the vaccine for high-risk occupational population.Methods: In an ongoing randomized, parallel, controlled phase IV trial between January and May 2021 in Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province, China, we randomly assigned the airport ground staff and public security officers aged 18 to 59 years to receive two doses of inactivated SARS-CoV-2 vaccine at 14 days, 21 days, or 28 days. The serum neutralizing antibody to live SARS-CoV-2 was performed at baseline and 28 days after immunization. Long-term data are being collected. The primary immunogenicity endpoints were neutralization antibody seroconversion and geometric mean titer (GMT) at 28 days after the second dose. Analysis of variance (ANOVA), chi-square, and logistic regression analysis were used for data analysis.Results: A total of 809 participants underwent randomization and received two doses of injections: 270, 270, 269 in the 0-14, 0-21, and 0-28 vaccination group, respectively. By day 28 after the second injection, SARS-CoV-2 neutralizing antibody of GMT was 98.4 (95%CI: 88.4-108.4) in the 0-14 group, which was significantly lower compared with 134.4 (95%CI: 123.1-145.7) in the 0-21 group (P < 0.001 vs 0-14 group) and 145.5 (95%CI: 131.3-159.6) in the 0-28 group (P < 0.001 vs 0-14 group), resulting in the seroconversion rates to neutralizing antibodies (GMT ≥ 16) of 100.0% for all three groups, respectively. The intention-to-treat (ITT) analysis yielded similar results.
