| 1 | 双眼屈光不正性弱视和远视的相关性研究(英文)显示文摘目的:探讨在远视、眼正位儿童中双眼屈光不正性弱视与远视患病率的关系。方法:选取56例两眼对称远视儿童,平均年龄5.5岁,分为两组,双眼远视≤+4.0D等效球镜组和双眼远视>+4.0D等效球镜组。评估两组双眼屈光不正性弱视的患病率,并进行比较。结果:在32例双眼远视≤+4.0D等效球镜组中,4例(13%)患双眼屈光不正性弱视;24例双眼远视>+4.0D等效球镜组中,15例(63%)患双眼屈光不正性弱视。统计学分析显示两组双眼屈光不正的儿童中弱视患病率有显著性差异(P<0.01)。结论:双眼屈光不正性弱视在双眼远视的儿童中并不罕见,尤其是当远视度数大于+4.0D等效球镜时。基于本次调查,双眼远视>+4.0D的儿童有13%~63%发展成两眼屈光不正性弱视。由此说明远视>+4.0D的儿童患两眼屈光不正性弱视的几率较大。 | Ali Rezaei Shokooh Farhad Adhami Moqadam Abdolhamid Najafi Youness Ghasemiy Mahnaz Vaezi MSc | 2012 | 国际眼科杂志2012,12,3: | 4 |
| 2 | Association of vitamin D receptor gene polymorphism(VDR)with vitamin D deficiency,metabolic and inflammatory markers in Egyptian obese women显示文摘Vitamin D deficiency might contribute to the pathogenesis of metabolic syndrome and could cause immune disturbance.The aim of this study is to analyze the associations between Vitamin D receptor(VDR)gene polymorphism,serum 25-hydroxy vitamin D,metabolic and inflammatory biomarkers in Egyptian obese women.The study included 201 obese women with vitamin D deficiency and 249 obese matched age healthy controls with sufficient vitamin D levels.Their age ranged between 25 and 35 years.Inflammatory biomarkers(interleukin-6 and C-reactive protein)and serum 25(OH)D were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.Insulin resistance(IR)was determined by the homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance(HOMA-IR).Vitamin D receptor(VDR)gene polymorphisms of FokI,ApaI,and TaqI were studied by PCR using the restriction fragment length polymorphism(RFLP)technique.Obese women with vitamin D deficiency had significant higher values of inflammatory and metabolic parameters compared to controls.Multivariable-logistic regression showed associations between 25(OH)D deficiency and metabolic components when comparing cases with controls.Moreover,cases carrying polymorphic alleles showed significant lower levels of serum 25(OH)D and higher HOMA-IR,blood pressure levels and lipid parameters compared to those with the wild type homozygote in obese cases with vitamin D deficiency.Vitamin D deficiency in Egyptian obese women with vitamin D deficiency is associated with abnormal metabolic components and abnormal inflammatory biomarkers.Moreover,VDR polymorphisms play important role in immune and inflammation status. | Moushira Zaki Sanaa Kamal Walaa ABasha Eman Youness Wafaa Ezzat Hala El-Bassyouni Khalda Amr | 2017 | Genes & Diseases2017,4,3: | 3 |

| 4 | Solid-state characterization and impurities determination of fluconazol generic products marketed in Morocco显示文摘In this paper, we report the results of quality control based in physicochemical characterization and impurities determination of three samples of fluconazole drug substances marketed in Morocco. These samples were supplied by different pharmaceuticals companies. The sample A, as the discovered product, was supplied by Pfizer, while samples B and C (generics), were manufactured by two different Indian industries. Solid-state characterization of the three samples was realized with different physicochemical methods as: X-ray powder diffraction, Fourier-transformation infrared spectroscopy, differential scanning calorimetry. High performance liquid chromatography was used to quantify the impurities in the different samples. The results from the physicochemical methods cited above, showed difference in polymorph structure of the three drug substances. Sample A consisted in pure polymorph Ⅲ, sample B consisted in pure polymorph Ⅱ, sample C consisted in a mixture of fluconazole Form Ⅲ, form Ⅱ and the monohydrate. This result was confirmed by differential scanning calorimetry. Also it was demonstrated that solvents used during the re-crystallization step were among the origins of these differences in the structure form. On the other hand, the result of the stability study under humidity and temperature showed that fluconazole polymorphic transformation could be owed to the no compliance with the conditions of storage. | 5 | Review on nanocomposites fabricated by mechanical alloying显示文摘Composites are composed of multiphase materials, where each phase has specific properties that differ from those of the other phases which can effect on the whole properties of composite. Nanocomposites are class of materials that contain at least one phase in the nanometric size range and can be produced by any suitable technique for preparing nanomaterials. Composites are an interesting class of materials that have recently been used in numerous applications, including structural, biomedical, electronics, and environmental applications. In composites, reinforcements might be fibers, particulates, or whiskers. Mechanical alloying(MA) is a promising technique for producing nanocomposite materials that are difficult or impossible to prepare via conventional techniques. In this review, we provide an overview of nanocomposites prepared by the MA process. | 17 | Neuroprotection by misoprostol against rotenone-induced neurotoxicity in rat brain显示文摘Objective: To investigate the effect of the prostaglandin E1 analogue misoprostol on oxidative stress and neurodegeration caused by subcutaneous rotenone administration in rats. Methods:Rotenone was administered in a dose of 1.5 mg/kg every other day for 2 weeks. Starting from the 1 st day of rotenone injection, rats were subcutaneously treated with misoprostol at doses of10, 100 or 1 000 μg/kg. Rats were evaluated for brain lipid peroxidation(malondialdehyde:MDA), reduced glutathione(GSH), nitric oxide(NO) levels, and paraoxonase-1(PON-1) activity.The concentrations of the anti-apoptotic protein B cell/lymphoma-2(Bcl-2) were determined in the striatum. Histopathologic examination and the expression of inducible nitric oxide synthase(iNOS) in the cerebral cortex and striatum were also performed. Results: Compared with the vehicle-treated group, rotenone caused a significant increase in brain lipid proxidation(MDA)by 61%(P<0.05) accompanied by an increase in NO by 73.1%(P<0.05) and a decrease in GSH concentration by 29.4%(P<0.05). In addition, brain PON-1 activity significantly decreased by63.0%(P<0.05) and striatal Bcl-2 significantly decreased by 27.9%(P<0.05) with respect to the corresponding control value. Brain sections from rotenone treated rats showed extensive dark pyknotic and apoptotic nuclei in neurons, shrunken cytoplasm and perineuronal vacuolation.Rotenone also caused pronounced expression of iNOS in the cerebral cortex and striatum.Treatment with misoprostol at doses of 100 and 1 000 μg/kg resulted in decreased brain MDA(by 16.5%-23.0%)(P<0.05) and NO levels(by 37.1%-40.7%)(P<0.05) and increased GSH concentrations(by 18.8%-30.1%)(P<0.05). PON-1 activity was significantly increased by80.0%-114.8%(P<0.05) by misoprostol at 100 and 1 000 μg/kg, respectively. In addition,misoprostol treatment restored striatal Bcl-2 concentrations to its normal value. Misoprostol treatment resulted in markedly reduced brain injury and decreased iNOS expression in the cerebral cortex and striatum of rotenone intoxicated rats.
