1Magnetism parameters characteristics of drilling deposits in Jianghan Plain and indication for forming of the Yangtze River Three Gorges显示文摘The forming time of the Yangtze River Three Gorges is considered as one of keys in the research on the Yangtze River,also is one of the most disputed hotspots.In order to solve the difficult problem,the authors adopt the internationally recognized thoughts and methods of substance tracing from source to sink.The lithologic characteristics,magnetic parameters and magnetic mineral characteristics of deposits in 2 bores are analyzed,which are both sampled from the sedimentary center of the Jianghan Plain.The results are as follows:At about 110 m depth of the core,the contents of coarse materials and stable magnetic mineral both increase significantly.Meanwhile,the magnetic susceptibility of sediment,saturation isothermal remanent magnetization and magnetic susceptibility values of anhysteretic remanent magnetism increase suddenly,which all reflect that at about 110 m depth,the important adjustment has appeared in water system of the Jianghan Plain,and the sedimentary environment and material composition have changed greatly.And it may be the horizon where the Yangtze River Three Gorges formed,its forming time reflected by the paleomagnetic dating is between 1.17 and 1.12Ma B.P.ZHANG YuFen LI Chang'An WANG QiuLiang CHEN Liang Ma YongFa KANG ChunGuo 2008Chinese Science Bulletin2008,53,4:34
2The response of annual runoff to the height change of the summertime 0℃ level over Xinjiang显示文摘According to climate features and river runoff conditions,Xinjiang could be divided into three research areas:The Altay-Tacheng region,the Tianshan Mountain region and the northern slope of the Kunlun Mountains.Utilizing daily observations from 12 sounding stations and the annual runoff dataset from 34 hydrographical stations in Xinjiang for the period 1960-2002,the variance of the summertime 0℃ level height and the changing trends of river runoff are analyzed both qualitatively and quantitatively,through trend contrast of curves processed by a 5-point smoothing procedure and linear correlation.The variance of the summertime 0℃ level height in Xinjiang correlates well with that of the annual river runoff,especially since the early 1990s,but it differs from region to region,with both the average height of the 0℃ level and runoff quantity significantly increasing over time in the Altay-Tacheng and Tianshan Mountain regions but decreasing on the northern slope of the Kunlun Mountains.The correlation holds for the whole of Xinjiang as well as the three individual regions,with a 0.01 significance level.This indicates that in recent years,climate change in Xinjiang has affected not only the surface layer but also the upper levels of the atmosphere,and this raising and lowering of the summertime 0℃ level has a direct impact on the warming and wetting process in Xinjiang and the amount of river runoff.Warming due to climate change increases the height of the 0℃ level,but also speeds up,ice-snow melting in mountain regions,which in turn increases river runoff,leading to a season of plentiful water instead of the more normal low flow period.ZHANG Guangxing SUN Shufang MA Yufen ZHAO Ling 2010Journal of Geographical Sciences2010,20,6:10

4Suppression of ETI by PTI priming to balance plant growth and defense through an MPK3/MPK6-WRKYs-PP2Cs module显示文摘Pattern-triggered immunity(PTI)and effector-triggered immunity(ETI)are required for host defense against pathogens.Although PTI and ETI are intimately connected,the underlying molecular mechanisms remain elusive.In this study,we demonstrate that flg22 priming attenuates Pseudomonas syringae pv.tomato DC3000(Pst)AvrRpt2-induced hypersensitive cell death,resistance,and biomass reduction in Arabidopsis.Mitogen-activated protein kinases(MAPKs)are key signaling regulators of PTI and ETI.The absence of MPK3 and MPK6 significantly reduces pre-PTI-mediated ETI suppression(PES).We found that MPK3/MPK6 interact with and phosphorylate the downstream transcription factor WRKY18,which regulates the expression of AP2C1 and PP2C5,two genes encoding protein phosphatases.Furthermore,we observed that the PTI-suppressed ETI-triggered cell death,MAPK activation,and growth retardation are significantly attenuated in wrky18/40/60 and ap2c1 pp2c5 mutants.Taken together,our results suggest that the MPK3/MPK6-WRKYs-PP2Cs module underlies PES and is essential for the maintenance of plant fitness during ETI.Dacheng Wang Lirong Wei Ting Liu Jinbiao Ma Keyi Huang Huimin Guo Yufen Huang Lei Zhang Jing Zhao Kenichi Tsuda Yiming Wang 2023Molecular Plant2023,16,5:1

10The STX17-SNAP47-VAMP7/VAMP8 complex is the default SNARE complex mediating autophagosome–lysosome fusion显示文摘Autophagosome–lysosome fusion mediated by SNARE complexes is an essential step in autophagy.Two SNAP29-containing SNARE complexes have been extensively studied in starvation-induced bulk autophagy,while the relevant SNARE complexes in other types of autophagy occurring under non-starvation conditions have been overlooked.Here,we found that autophagosome–lysosome fusion in selective autophagy under non-starvation conditions does not require SNAP29-containing SNARE complexes,but requires the STX17-SNAP47-VAMP7/VAMP8 SNARE complex.Further,the STX17-SNAP47-VAMP7/VAMP8 SNARE complex also functions in starvation-induced autophagy.SNAP47 is recruited to autophagosomes following concurrent detection of ATG8s and PI(4,5)P2 via its Pleckstrin homology domain.By contrast,SNAP29-containing SNAREs are excluded from selective autophagy due to inactivation by O-GlcNAcylation under non-starvation conditions.These findings depict a previously unknown,default SNARE complex responsible for autophagosome–lysosome fusion in both selective and bulk autophagy,which could guide research and therapeutic development in autophagy-related diseases.Fenglei Jian Shen Wang Rui Tian Yufen Wang Chuangpeng Li Yan Li Shixuan Wang Chao Fang Cong Ma Yueguang Rong 2024Cell Research2024,34,2:0
11Penta-coordinated phosphorus structure analysis on kinases显示文摘In this paper, based on the known crystal structures of Square Pyramid (SP) and Trigonal Bipyramid (TBP) penta-coordinated phosphorus compounds containing amino acid side chains, such as amino, carboxyl, hydroxyl or thiol, a software designed to survey the P(5)-Structure of phosphorylated proteins. By this software, it was found that 382 of 398 phos- phorus-related kinases (96%) from current PDB could go through the penta-coordinated phos- phorus transition state or intermediate. 12Nickel-decorated TiO2 nanotube arrays as a self-supporting cathode for lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘Lithium-sulfur batteries are considered to be one of the strong competitors to replace lithium-ion batteries due to their large energy density.However,the dissolution of discharge intermediate products to the electrolyte,the volume change and poor electric conductivity of sulfur greatly limit their further commercialization.Herein,we proposed a self-supporting cathode of nickel-decorated TiO2 nanotube arrays(TiO2 NTs@Ni)prepared by an anodization and electrodeposition method.The TiO2 NTs with large specific surface area provide abundant reaction space and fast transmission channels for ions and electrons.Moreover,the introduction of nickel can enhance the electric conductivity and the polysulfide adsorption ability of the cathode.As a result,the TiO2 NTs@Ni-S electrode exhibits significant improvement in cycling and rate performance over TiO2 NTs,and the discharge capacity of the cathode maintains 719 mA·h·g−1 after 100 cycles at 0.1 C.Yuming Chen Wenhao Tang Jingru Ma Ben Ge Xiangliang Wang Yufen Wang Pengfei Ren Ruiping Liu 2020Frontiers of Materials Science2020,14,3:0
13Validation of AIRS-Retrieved atmospheric temperature data over the Taklimakan Desert显示文摘The Taklimakan Desert, the world's second largest desert, plays an important role in regional climate change. Previousstudies on its spatial temperature features suffered from sparse conventional detection data, but the Atmospheric InfraredSounder (AIRS) provides excellent temperature retrievals with high spatiotemporal resolution. Validation of AIRS temperatureretrievals over desert regions with high land-surface emissivity, the key contributor to inversion error, is essential beforeusing these data in regional weather/climate modeling. This paper examines the correlation coefficients, root meansquare error (RMSE) and mean BIAS between AIRS-retrieved atmospheric temperature data and radiosonde observations(RAOBs) in the Taklimakan Desert hinterland and oases in the morning and at dusk. Firstly, the AIRS retrievals are consistentwith RAOBs and are more consistent in the morning than at dusk. The consistency is better over a small-scale desert oasisthan over a large-scale oasis in the morning and exhibits the opposite trend at dusk. The correlation coefficient over thehinterland is high in the morning but negative at dusk due to high desert-surface emissivity. Second, the RMSEs, which areall smaller than 3 K, are generally higher over desert sites than over oasis sites and slightly lower over a small-scale oasisthan over a large-scale oasis in the morning. At dusk, the RMSEs are higher over desert sites than over oases and slightlyhigher over a small-scale oasis than over a large-scale oasis. Furthermore, the RMSEs are generally higher in the morningthan at dusk over a large-scale oasis and lower in the morning than at dusk over a small-scale oasis. Third, the absolutemean BIAS values are mostly lower than 1 K. In the morning, relative to RAOB temperatures, the retrieval temperaturesare higher over desert sites but lower over oasis sites. At dusk, the retrieval temperatures are lower than RAOB temperaturesover both desert and oasis sites. The retrieval temperatures are higher than RAOB temperatures over desert sites inthe morning but slightly lower at dusk. Most absolute mean BIAS values are higher in the morning than at dusk overboth oasis and desert sites. Finally, the consistency between the AIRS and RAOB temperature data is high from 700 hPato 100 hPa in the morning and from 700 hPa to 300 hPa at dusk. The difference between the AIRS and RAOB temperaturedata is generally higher in the morning than that at dusk. The RMSE differences between the AIRS and RAOB data areslightly lower in the morning than at dusk and are lower in the middle layers between 700 hPa and 150 hPa than in the layersabove 150 hPa during both the morning and night. The BIAS is lower in the morning than at dusk below 300 hPabut higher in the upper layers. Moreover, the BIAS value is positive in the middle layers between 500 hPa and 150 hPaand negative at other levels at both times. 14Short‐term effect of the prone masturbation training on premature ejaculation显示文摘Background:Whether conventional behavioral therapies for premature ejaculation can significantly improve the intravaginal ejaculatory latency time is still controversial.Prone masturbation is rare and observed in some patients with delayed ejaculation.Therefore,we tried to verify whether the regular prone masturbation training method had a therapeutic effect on premature ejaculation.Methods:From July to December 2018,a total of 21 patients met the enrollment criteria and volunteered to participate.Participants were diagnosed with premature ejaculation with an intravaginal ejaculatory latency time of less than 3min and a Premature Ejaculation Diagnostic Tool score greater than 9.Participants performed 12‐week prone masturbation training.Results:Ten patients completed the entire treatment regimen.The mean age of the 10 participants was 30.4±6.1 years,the mean frequency of sexual intercourse was 1.9±0.83 times a week,and the median duration of premature ejaculation was 1.5 years.After 3 months of prone masturbation training,the median self‐reported intravaginal ejaculatory latency time significantly increased from 60 to 105 s(p=0.011),and the mean Premature Ejaculation Diagnostic Tool scores decreased from15.0±3.7 to 12.7±3.7 points(p=0.119).Conclusions:The regular prone masturbation training method,as a novel behavioral therapy,probably has a therapeutic effect on premature ejaculation.Gongchao Ma Chunlin Wang Xiaohong Chen Yu Xi Yufen Lai Yan Zhang 2023UroPrecision2023,1,2:0
