1Seasonal and spatial distributions of euphotic zone and longterm variations in water transparency in a clear oligotrophic Lake Fuxian, China显示文摘To assess the seasonal and spatial variations and long-term trends in water optical properties in Lake Fuxian, investigations based on field work in four seasons and a long-term analysis of data from 1980 to 2014 were conducted. The results show that there was no significant variation in the euphotic depth(Z_(eu)) across the four seasons, and no significant correlations between Z_(eu) and potential influencing factors in seasons other than summer, suggesting that the water itself may be a major factor regulating the Z_(eu)in general. Nevertheless, significant differences in Z_(eu) between the north region(NR) and the south region(SR) were observed in all seasonal tests except spring. This finding relates to a higher abundance of chromophoric dissolved organic matter(CDOM) in the NR due to runoff, especially in the rainy seasons(summer and autumn).CDOM and its terrigenous component had an important impact on Z_(eu)in summer, with the highest precipitation, and impacts from suspended solids and non-algal particles were also found in the NR in summer. The Secchi disk depth in the lake decreased clearly over the years,with significantly negative correlations with the increasing permanganate index and air temperature, implying that organic contaminants(CDOM and/or phytoplankton) are important regulators of water transparency. We estimate that the combined effects of climate warming and changes in land use and land cover are also indirect regulating factors. 2Opposite effects of Drosophila C3PO on gene silencing mediated by esi-2.1 and miRNA-bantam显示文摘Translin/TRAX complex,also named as C3PO,is evolutionarily conserved and participates in diverse cellular processes in different organisms from yeast to human.C3PO plays a critical role in the activation of RNA-induced silencing complexes by promoting the unwinding and degradation of passenger strand of exogenous siRNAs(exo-siRNAs)in Drosophila and human.Moreover,human C3PO(hC3PO)has been found to broadly repress miRNAs by degrading miRNA precursors.However,the effect of Drosophila melanogaster C3PO(dmC3PO)on endogenous siRNA(endo-siRNA)and miRNA pathways remains unknown.Here,we found that the loss of dmC3PO promoted the accumulation of the passenger strand of esi-2.1(hp-CG4068B),and resulted in the de-repression of the DNA-damage-response gene mutagensensitive 308(mus308),which is an endogenous slicer target of esi-2.1 in Drosophila.Moreover,we also found that depletion of dmC3PO increased the accumulation of miR-bantam.Taken together,our findings indicated that dmC3PO not only involves in siRNA pathway triggered by dsRNA,but also regulates the abundance of certain endogenous small RNAs in Drosophila.Yujie Liu Yuan Fang Yongxiang Liu Zhaowei Wang Bao Lyu Yuanyang Hu Xi Zhou 2019Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2019,51,2:1

6One-step and wash-free multiplexed immunoassay platform based on bioinspired photonic barcodes显示文摘Multiplex,rapid and accurate virus quantification plays a great value in biomedical detection.Here,a novel one step,wash-free immunoassay platform based bioinspired PhC barcodes for multiplexed virus quantification was explored.PhC barcodes were decorated with PDA by self-polymerization of DA,thus this nanocomposite hybridized PhC barcodes facilitated the adsorption of FITC labelled antibodies and quenched itself photolumines-cent,allowing a fast responsive composite platform.In the presence of target analyte,the FITC-labelled detection antibody was released from the surface of PDA decorated microcarrier to specifically bind to the target ana-lyte,thus recovered the photoluminescence.In addition,the PhC microcarrier was enabled to carry out various color barcode for different targets detection though tuning internal periodic structures.Based on these excellent performances of the nanocomposite barcode,this method can not only capture H1N1,H5N1,SARS-CoV-2 si-multaneously with rapid,accuracy but also accomplish multiplex quantification detection with high-sensitivity.Furthermore,our developed platform was also achieved with high-sensitivity and high-specificity through the verification of clinical samples,thus laying out a new avenue for multiplex virus detection in clinical diagnosis.Dagan Zhang Yuze Wang Junqi Zhao Xueqin Li Yuanyang Zhou Sen Wang 2023Engineered Regeneration2023,4,3:0
