1A male-ABCD algorithm for hepatocellular carcinoma risk prediction in HBs Ag carriers显示文摘Objective: Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) development among hepatitis B surface antigen(HBs Ag) carriers shows gender disparity, influenced by underlying liver diseases that display variations in laboratory tests. We aimed to construct a risk-stratified HCC prediction model for HBs Ag-positive male adults.Methods: HBs Ag-positive males of 35-69 years old(N=6,153) were included from a multi-center populationbased liver cancer screening study. Randomly, three centers were set as training, the other three centers as validation. Within 2 years since initiation, we administrated at least two rounds of HCC screening using Bultrasonography and α-fetoprotein(AFP). We used logistic regression models to determine potential risk factors,built and examined the operating characteristics of a point-based algorithm for HCC risk prediction.Results: With 2 years of follow-up, 302 HCC cases were diagnosed. A male-ABCD algorithm was constructed including participant's age, blood levels of GGT(γ-glutamyl-transpeptidase), counts of platelets, white cells,concentration of DCP(des-γ-carboxy-prothrombin) and AFP, with scores ranging from 0 to 18.3. The area under receiver operating characteristic was 0.91(0.90-0.93), larger than existing models. At 1.5 points of risk score,26.10% of the participants in training cohort and 14.94% in validation cohort were recognized at low risk, with sensitivity of identifying HCC remained 100%. At 2.5 points, 46.51% of the participants in training cohort and 33.68% in validation cohort were recognized at low risk with 99.06% and 97.78% of sensitivity, respectively. 2Routing Loop Audit Mechanism Based on SDN显示文摘Routing loops can cause packet loss and long delay problems in the traditional network. Even in future networks – Software-Defined Networks, with loop-free implementation mechanism, it still suffers loop problems. In this paper, we propose an architecture to solve the loop problem in SDN. Unlike the existing passive routing loop detection algorithm, this algorithm processes based on the SDN loop-free characteristic, by auditing third-party network forwarding rules’ modification requests to avoids loop generation, thus avoid the network loop problems. Testbed is built to simulate our proposed algorithm. 3A bioinformatics method for predicting long noncoding RNAs associated with vascular disease显示文摘Long noncoding RNAs(lncRNAs)play important roles in human diseases including vascular disease.Given the large number of lncRNAs,however,whether the majority of them are associated with vascular disease remains unknown.For this purpose,here we present a genomic location based bioinformatics method to predict the lncRNAs associated with vascular disease.We applied the presented method to globally screen the human lncRNAs potentially involved in vascular disease.As a result,we predicted 3043 putative vascular disease associated lncRNAs.To test the accuracy of the method,we selected 10 lncRNAs predicted to be implicated in proliferation and migration of vascular smooth muscle cells(VSMCs)for further experimental validation.The results confirmed that eight of the 10 lncRNAs(80%)are validated.This result suggests that the presented method has a reliable prediction performance.Finally,the presented bioinformatics method and the predicted vascular disease associated lncRNAs together may provide helps for not only better understanding of the roles of lncRNAs in vascular disease but also the identification of novel molecules for the diagnosis and therapy of vascular disease.LI JianWei GAO Cheng WANG YuChen MA Wei TU Jian WANG JunPei CHEN ZhenZhen KONG Wei CUI QingHua 2014Science China(Life Sciences)2014,57,8:2

5A new strategy for fabrication of unique heterostructured titanium laminates and visually tracking their synchronous evolution of strain partitions versus microstructure显示文摘Heterostructured(HS)material with extraordinary mechanical properties has been regarded as one of the most promising structural materials.Here,we reported a new strategy for preparing heterostructured pure titanium laminates that possess a good combination of strength and ductility by combining gradient structure(GS)and heterogeneous lamella structure(HLS).The deformation characteristic versus microstructure evolution of GS/HLS titanium laminates,namely the strain partitions between different-sized grains(480–25μm)was visualized using a scanning electron microscope(SEM)equipped with electron backscattered diffraction(EBSD)mode combined with the digital image correlation(SEM-DIC)with an ultrahigh spatial resolution for the first time.As a result,the hetero-deformation of unique GS/HLS structure by the characteristic of strain partitions could be accurately captured.While the hetero-deformation could result in the hetero-deformation induced(HDI)stress strengthening and HDI hardening,which were regarded as the key reason that the resulting GS/HLS Ti laminates showed a superior combination of strength and ductility.This could promote a more in-depth understanding of the strengtheningtoughening mechanism of heterostructured material.Hao Ding Xiping Cui Zhiqi Wang Tao Zhao Yuchen Wang Yuanyuan Zhang Hongtao Chen Lujun Huang Lin Geng Junfeng Chen 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,12:1
6High-pressure synthesis of a ternary yttrium-sulfur hydride superconductor with a high T_(c) of approximately 235 K显示文摘Ternary hydrides have attracted considerable worldwide attention owing to their potential high-temperature superconducting phases.In contrast to previously reported alloy-based ternary hydrides,we selected the rare earth metal yttrium and light element sulfur to form new yttrium-sulfur hydride superconductors as the target at high pressure,which also linked the two categories of binary clathrate YH_(6) and covalent H_(3)S high-temperature superconductors.The rare earth metal ions served as carrier donors for the dissociation of H_(2) molecules and the formation of clathrate-like cage structures,while the light elements helped stabilize the materials.By applying high-pre ssure and high-temperature conditions,two possible ternary hydride s,i.e.,Im3m-(Y,S)H_(6+δ) and I4/mmm-(Y,S)H_(4+δ),were discovered.Im3m-(Y,S)H_(6+δ) is a ternary hydride with a record superconducting transition temperature(T_(c)) of 235 K belonging to the single-metal hydride system,exhibiting an 11% increment in T_(c) compared with binary Im3m-YH_(6).In the pressure range of 199-249 GPa,the T_(c) of this phase displayed a decreasing tendency but with an apparent slope change,indicating the possible structural distortions or electronic structure changes at 227 GPa.Concurrently,the extrapolated upper critical magnetic field H_(c2) was determined to be 85 T using the Werthamer-Helfand-Hohenberg formula at199 GPa,with a 37% increment compared with Im3m-YH6.The slight volume expansion(~3 %) of Im3m-(Y,S)H_(6+δ) compared with that of binary Im3m-YH_(6) signified the possible interstitial sites of sulfur atoms filling into the hydrogen cages.The size expansion of the center atoms might attract more hydrogen atoms to stabilize the hydrogen cages,contributing to the enhancement of T_(c) and H_(c2) in Im3m-(Y,S)H_(6+δ).The present study demonstrates that introduction of light elements is an effective way for enhancing T_(c) by forming larger hydrogen cages.Kexin Zhang Wuhao Chen Yuchen Zhang Jianning Guo Su Chen Xiaoli Huang Tian Cui 2024Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2024,67,3:0
7Metal-to-insulator transitions in 3d-band correlated oxides containing Fe compositions显示文摘Metal-to-insulator transitions (MITs),which are achieved in 3d-band correlated transitional metal oxides,trigger abrupt variations in electrical,optical,and/or magnetic properties beyond those of conventional semiconductors.Among such material families,iron(Fe:3d^(6)4s^(2))-containing oxides pique interest owing to their widely tunable MIT properties,which are associated with the various valence states of Fe.Their potential electronic applications also show promise,given the large abundance of Fe on Earth.Representative MIT properties triggered by critical temperature (TMIT) were reported for ReFe_(2)O_(4)(Fe^(2.5+)),ReBaFe_(2)O_(5)(Fe^(2.5+)),Fe_(3)O_(4)(Fe^(2.67+)),Re_(1/3)Sr_(2/3)FeO_(3)(Fe^(3.67+)),Re Cu_(3)Fe_(4)O_(12)(Fe^(3.75+)),and Ca_(1-x)Sr_(x)FeO_(3)(Fe^(4+))(where Re represents rare-earth elements).The common feature of MITs of these Fe-containing oxides is that they are usually accompanied by charge ordering transitions or disproportionation associated with the valence states of Fe.Herein,we review the material family of Fe-containing MIT oxides,their MIT functionalities,and their respective mechanisms.From the perspective of potentially correlated electronic applications,the tunability of the TMITand its resultant resistive change in Fe-containing oxides are summarized and further compared with those of other materials exhibiting MIT functionality.In particular,we highlight the abrupt MIT and wide tunability of TMITof Fe-containing quadruple perovskites,such as Re Cu3Fe4O12.However,their effective material synthesis still needs to be further explored to cater to potential applications.Yiping Yu Yuchen Cui Jiangang He Wei Mao Jikun Chen 2024International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2024,31,1:0
8Treatment of secondary central nervous system involvement in systemic aggressive B cell lymphoma using R-MIADD chemotherapy:a single-center study显示文摘Background:Secondary central nervous system lymphoma(SCNSL)is defined as lymphoma involvement within the central nervous system(CNS)that originated elsewhere,or a CNS relapse of systemic lymphoma.Prognosis of SCNSL is poor and the most appropriate treatment is still undetermined.Methods:We conducted a retrospective study to assess the feasibility of an R-MIADD(rituximab,high-dose methotrexate,ifosfamide,cytarabine,liposomal formulation of doxorubicin,and dexamethasone)regimen for SCNSL patients.Results:Nineteen patients with newly diagnosed CNS lesions were selected,with a median age of 58(range 20 to 72)years.Out of 19 patients,11(57.9%)achieved complete remission(CR)and 2(10.5%)achieved partial remission(PR);the overall response rate was 68.4%.The median progression-free survival after CNS involvement was 28.0 months(95%confidence interval 11.0–44.9),and the median overall survival after CNS involvement was 34.5 months.Treatment-related death occurred in one patient(5.3%).Conclusions:These single-centered data underscore the feasibility of an R-MIADD regimen as the induction therapy of SCNSL,further investigation is warranted.Yuchen Wu Xuefei Sun Xueyan Bai Jun Qian Hong Zhu Qu Cui Ruixian Xing Yuedan Chen Qing Liu Wenyuan Lai Junhong Li Yaming Wang Shengjun Sun Nan Ji Yuanbo Liu 2021Chinese Neurosurgical Journal2021,7,2:0

10Composition dependent intrinsic defect structures in ASnO3(A=Ca,Sr,Ba)显示文摘Perovskite stannates are promising semiconductors that are widely used in optoelectronic devices.Here,the composition dependent intrinsic point defects of stannate perovskites ASnO3(A=Ca,Sr,Ba)are studied by first-principles calculations.The preferences of defects under stoichiometric and nonstoichiometric conditions are unsealed,meanwhile the charge states of each intrinsic defect varying with the change of electron Fermi energy are clarified.For stoichiometric BaSnO3 and SrSnO3,the Schottky defect complexes are predicted as the most stable defect structure,while the antisite defect complexes are the most stable one in CaSnO3.In nonstoichiometric ASnO3,excessive AO is beneficial to the formation of oxygen vacancies and A-Sn antisite defects in all ASnO3;while the Ca interstitial is another major defect existing in CaSnO3.In the case of SnO2 excess,the predominant defects are the Sn-A antisite defects and A vacancies.Since the functionality of these perovskite oxides is closely related to the types and concentrations of their point defects,the present results are expected to guide the future experiments to optimize the function of the perovskite oxides by tailoring the intrinsic defects through controlling the composition of AO and SnO2.Yuchen Liu Yu Zhou Dechang Jia Juanli Zhao Banghui Wang Yuanyuan Cui Qian Li Bin Liu 2020Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,42,7:0
11Anti-corrosive Hybrid Electrolytes for Rechargeable Aqueous Zinc Batteries显示文摘Aqueous zinc(Zn)-metal cells with cost-effective components and high safety have long been a promising large-scale energy storage system,but Zn anodes are intrinsically unstable with common aqueous electrolytes,causing substantial underutilization of the theoretical capacity.In this work,we report a strictly neutral aqueous Zn electrolyte at a low cost by leveraging the dynamic hydrolysis equilibrium of a dual-salt Zn(Ac)2/NaAc(Ac:CH3COO−)formulation.With the pH regulation,the corrosion and hydrogen evolution encountered in Zn anodes can be suppressed significantly.This hybrid aqueous electrolyte not only enables dendrite-free Zn plating/stripping at a nearly 95%Coulombic efficiency[an increase of 24%compared to that of the single-salt 1 mol/L Zn(Ac)2 electrolyte],but also supports the reversible operation of Zn cells paired with either Na3V2(PO4)3 or iodine cathodes—the former delivers a high output voltage of 1.55 V with an energy level of 99.5 W·h/kg(based on the mass of the cathode),and the latter possesses a high specific capacity of 110.9 mA·h/g while yielding long-term cyclability(thousands of cycles).These findings open up a new avenue of modifying practical electrolytes having targeted properties to stabilize multivalent metal anodes.WANG Jia QIU Huayu ZHAO Zhiming ZHANG Yuchen ZHAO Jingwen MA Yinglei LI Jiedong XING Min LI Guicun CUI Guanglei 2021Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2021,37,2:0
