1In-situ formed NiS/Ni coupled interface for efficient oxygen evolution and hydrogen evolution显示文摘High-performance electrocatalysts for water splitting are desired due to the urgent requirement of clean and sustainable hydrogen production.To reduce the energy barrier,herein,we adopt a facile in-situ surface modification strategy to develop a low-cost and efficient electrocatalyst for water splitting.The synthesized mulberry-like NiS/Ni nanoparticles exhibit excellent catalytic performance for water splitting.Small overpotentials of 301 and 161 mV are needed to drive the current density of 10 mA cm^-2 accompanying with remarkably low Tafel slopes of 46 and 74 mV dec^-1 for oxygen evolution reaction(OER)and hydrogen evolution reaction(HER),respectively.Meanwhile,a robust electrochemical stability is demonstrated.Further high-resolution X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy analyses reveal that the intrinsic HER activity improvement is attributed to the electron-enriched S on the strongly coupled NiS and Ni interface,which simultaneously facilitates the important electron transfer,consistent with the electrochemical impedance results.The post characterizations demonstrate that surface reconstructed oxyhydroxide contributes to the OER activity and NiS/Ni is an OER precatalyst.This structure construction with in-situ formation of active interface provides an effective way to design efficient electrocatalysts for energy conversion.Chaoyi Yan Jianwen Huang Chunyang Wu Yaoyao Li Yuchuan Tan Luying Zhang Yinghui Sun Xiaona Huang Jie Xiong 2020Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,42,7:1
2Smooth muscle AKG/OXGR1 signaling regulates epididymal fluid acid–base balance and sperm maturation显示文摘Infertility is a global concern attributed to genetic defects,lifestyle,nutrition,and any other factors that affect the local metabolism and niche microenvironment of the reproductive system.2-Oxoglutarate receptor 1(OXGR1)is abundantly expressed in the testis;however,its cellular distribution and biological function of OXGR1 in the male reproductive system remain unclear.In the current study,we demonstrated that OXGR1 is primarily expressed in epididymal smooth muscle cells(SMCs).Aging and heat stress significantly reduced OXGR1 expression in the epididymis.Using OXGR1 global knockout and epididymal-specific OXGR1 knockdown models,we revealed that OXGR1 is essential for epididymal sperm maturation and fluid acid–base balance.Supplementation ofα-ketoglutaric acid(AKG),the endogenous ligand of OXGR1,effectively reversed epididymal sperm maturation disorders caused by aging and heat stress.Furthermore,in vitro studies showed that AKG markedly stimulated the release of instantaneous intracellular calcium from epididymal SMCs and substantially reduced the pH_(i) value in the epididymal SMCs via OXGR1.Mechanistically,we discovered that AKG/OXGR1 considerably increased the expression of Na^(+)/HCO_(3)^(−)cotransporter(NBCe1)mRNA in the epididymal SMCs,mediated by intracellular calcium signaling.The local AKG/OXGR1 system changed the epididymal fluid pH value and HCO_(3)^(−)concentration,thereby regulating sperm maturation via intracellular calcium signaling and NBCe1 mRNA expression.This study for the first time reveals the crucial role of OXGR1 in male fertility and sheds light on the applicability of metabolic intermediates in the nutritional intervention of reproduction.Chang Xu Yexian Yuan Cha Zhang Yuchuan Zhou Jinping Yang Huadong Yi Ishwari Gyawali Jingyi Lu Sile Guo Yunru Ji Chengquan Tan Songbo Wang Yongliang Zhang Qingyan Jiang Gang Shu 2022Life Metabolism2022,1,1:0
3Study of the Pavement Settlement Standard Induced by Tunnel to Under-traverse Highway in Close Quarter显示文摘Now the surface settlement induced by shallow buried tunnel to under-traverse highway,mostly adopt the empirical value,3 cm,acquired from Beijing or Shenzhen metro,which is regarded as the controlling standard.But to more project,tunnel under-traverse highway,we must decide the controlling standard flexibly,which should base on the pavement service function and the pavement condition.The thesis,based on the pavement evenness and running comfort ability in the view of completing the pavement service function,supposes the longitudinal pavement settlement cross section as a quadratic parabola,and gets the maximal settlement value in the range of longitudinal pavement influence when the tunnel is under-traverse highway perpendicularly.Then the controlling standard is decided.As Wenxiang Tunnel under-traverse Lianhuo Freeway on Zhengzhou-Xi'an Passenger Dedicated Railway Line for an example,the settlement controlling standard is acquired,and we hope it has an direction and reference value to similar tunnel construction.Zhang Peng Tan Zhongsheng Liu Heng Zhang Yuchuan 2008Engineering Sciences2008,6,1:0
