| 1 | Size, phase-controlled synthesis,the nucleation and growth mechanisms of NaYF_4:Yb/Er nanocrystals显示文摘Near-monodisperse NaYF_4:Yb/Er nanoparticles(NPs) with controlled size, phases(α,β) and shapes(sphere, and hexagonal plate) were synthesized by adjusting the NaF to RE(RE = Y, Yb, Er) ratios, the reaction temperature and time in the hot surfactant solutions(oleic acid, 1-octadecene) from the improved one-pot thermal decomposition metal trifluoroacetate, and the precursors were prepared via hydrothermal route. The growth kinetics of β-NaYF4 NPs includes several stages: nucleation, growth of aNaYF4, Ostwald ripening, size shrinkage and growth. The results prove that the temperatures are preferred to the phase transformation compared with the NaF content when other experimental conditions are unchanged. | 3 | Atypical clinical and pathological findings in a patient with isolated cortical vein thrombosis显示文摘Isolated cortical vein thrombosis often produces a focal lesion. Because of the rapid development of collateral circulation, increased intracranial pressure has never been reported in a patient with isolated cortical vein thrombosis. The diagnosis of isolated cortical vein thrombosis is based mainly on MRI, catheter digital subtraction angiography, and histological findings, but may be challenging. We report a patient who presented with intermittent seizures and left-sided limb weakness. Her symptoms gradually progressed, and she eventually developed signs of increased intracranial pressure. Imaging studies showed a space-occupying lesion in the right frontal lobe of the brain. As we could not diagnose isolated cortical vein thrombosis based on the preoperative findings, surgical excision of the lesion was performed under general anesthesia. Histological examination showed destruction of the brain parenchyma with infiltration of macrophages, proliferation of reactive astrocytes and small vessels, and foci of hemorrhage. Further examination found that a number of small vessels in both the subarachnoid space and brain parenchyma were filled with thrombus, some of which was organized. Elastic fiber staining showed that the obstructed vessels were veins. | 16 | Preventive Effects of Five Drugs on Mycoplasma Pneumonia of Swine (MPS)显示文摘The paper was to explore the preventive effects of five drugs on mycoplasma pneumonia of swine (MPS) and to provide reference for clinical medication of pig farms in Hainan Province.A total of 444 health piglets were randomly divided into 6 groups,including five medication groups (72 piglets in group A,74 piglets in group B,72 piglets in group C,76 piglets in group D,76 piglets in group E) and one control group (74 piglets).The piglets in experimental groups were treated drugs once a day for successive 5 days at 30,60,90,120 and 150 of age.The piglets in control group were free of medication.At 70 and 140 days of age,15 piglets of each group were randomly selected to collect their blood serum.The Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae (M-Hyo) antibodies in serum were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).During the experiment,the incidence rates of respiratory disease,lung lesion,feed conversion rate,average daily gain (ADG),and mortality rate of pigs were also observed and recorded.The results showed that the five drugs had significant difference in preventative effects.Group C (Zhiyuanjing group) received the best preventive effect and the highest economic benefits.Compared with control group,the ADG and feed conversion rate in group C were increased by 7.53% and 9.09%,respectively; the incidence rate of respiratory disease was reduced by 13.44% and lung lesion was alleviated by81.43%; and the earnings of each pig could rise by 132.70 yuan.The preventative effect and economic benefit of the drugs was sequenced by Chansu Kechuanling and Bingchan Kechuanwang.Wante Feilin and amoxicillin had weaker preventive effects against MPS but greatly influenced growth performance of pigs,so they should be used alternatively with other drugs. | Zhang Yan Liu Hailong Lin Zhemin Cao Zongxi Tan Shuyi Chen Xiaojie Xie Yueshan | 2016 | Animal Husbandry and Feed Science2016,8,5: | 0 |
