1Characterization and fine mapping of an early senescence mutant (es-t) in Oryza sativa L.显示文摘An es-t (early senescence-temporary) mutant, produced by ethylene methylsulfonate treatment of strain Nipponbare, was identified in rice. The leaves of es-t appeared yellow at the seedling stage, and had decreased chlorophyll content. Rust spots were found during growth in es-t, especially at the leaf margin and tip. The plants showed a typical early-senescence phenotype at the milky stage. The leaf surface of es-t appeared smoother than wild-type leaves under a scanning electron microscope, because the leaves lack siliceous protuberances around the stoma. Chloroplasts grow abnormally and are filled with many starch grains in es-t. Paraffin section analysis showed that the development of the sclerenchyma cells and vascular bundles were also abnormal in es-t. Genetic analysis indicated that es-t was controlled by a recessive gene, which was finely mapped to a 42-kb interval on chromosome 5. 3The pleiotropic ABNORMAL FLOWER AND DWARF1 affects plant height, floral development and grain yield in rice显示文摘Moderate plant height and successful establishment of reproductive organs play pivotal roles in rice grain production. The molecular mechanism that controls the two aspects remains unclear in rice. In the present study,we characterized a rice gene, ABNORMAL FLOWER AND DWARF1(AFD1) that determined plant height, floral development and grain yield. The afd1 mutant showed variable defects including the dwarfism, long panicle, low seed setting and reduced grain yield. In addition, abnormal floral organs were also observed in the afd1 mutant including slender and thick hulls, and hull-like lodicules.AFD1 encoded a DUF640 domain protein and was expressed in all tested tissues and organs. Subcellular localization showed AFD1-green fluorescent fusion protein(GFP) was localized in the nucleus. 4Nest-like multilevel structured graphene oxide-on-polyacrylonitrile membranes for highly efficient filtration of ultrafine particles显示文摘Developing filtration media for particulate matter(PM)removal has been proven to be extremely challenging.Here,we report a facile and scalable strategy to fabricate a multi-level structured polyacrylonitrile/graphene oxide(PAN/GO)air filtration membrane to remove ultrafine particles in air by combining multi-jet electrospinning and physical bonding.Our approach allows the thin PAN nanofibers and two-dimensional GO nanosheets to form interpenetrating bonding structures on non-woven fabric and to assemble into stable filtration media.The resultant composite membranes can filtrate 300 nm particles with a high removal efficiency of 98.8%,a low pressure drop of 55 Pa,and a desirable quality factor of 0.34 Pa^(-1).This multi-level PAN/GO filter is expected to have wider applications not only for the ultrafine particle filtration and separation but also for the design of three-dimensional functional structures in the future.Jing Li Danzhen Zhang Xin Jiang Xuanliang Zhao Ruirui Hu Yujia Zhong Hongwei Zhu 2019Journal of Materiomics2019,5,3:4
5Peniazaphilones A—I,Produced by Co-culturing of Mangrove Endophytic Fungi,Penicillium sclerotiorum THSH-4 and Penicillium sclerotiorum ZJHJJ-18显示文摘Co-culturing the mangrove endophytic fungus Penicillium sclerotiorum THSH-4 with Penicillium sclerotiorum ZJHJJ-18 in PDB medium resulted in the production of nine new azaphilones derivatives,peniazaphilones A—I(1-9),and six known azaphilones derivatives(10-15).Their structures were elucidated by analysis of detailed spectroscopic data,single-crystal X-ray diffraction,ECD spectra,^(13)C NMR calculation and DP4+analysis.It is noteworthy that compound 1 with an isoquinoline quinone moiety,was isolated from natural source for the first time.Besides,compound 2 is the third reported phenylhydrazone derivative from fungi.In the bioactivity assays,compounds 1,12,14 and 15(IC_(50)=4.71-17.64μmol/L)exhibited potent inhibition of LPS-induced NO release from RAW264.7 without obvious cytotoxicity within 50μmol/L compared to the positive control indomethacin(IC_(50)=35.27μmol/L).Moreover,compounds 1 and 13 displayed moderate to strong cytotoxicity to A549 and MDA-MB-435,with IC_(50) values in the range of 6.84-14.63μmol/L.Together compound 1 showed moderate broad-spectrum antibacterial activity.Wencong Yang Jie Yuan Qi Tan Yan Chen Yujia Zhu Hongming Jiang Ge Zou Zhenming Zang Bo Wang Zhigang She 2021Chinese Journal of Chemistry2021,39,12:3
6Strain engineering of two-dimensional materials:Methods,properties,and applications显示文摘Two dimensional(2D)materials have attracted extensive research interests due to their excellent properties related to unique structure.Strain engineering,as an important strategy for tuning the lattice and electronic structure of 2D mate-rials,has been widely used in the modulation of physical properties,which broadens their applications in flexible nanoelectronic and optoelectronic devices.In this review,we fist summari ze the methods of inducing strain to 2D materials and discuss the advantages and problems of various methods.We then introduce the strain induced effects on optical,electrical,and magnetic proper-ties,together with the phase transition of 2D materials.Finally,we ilustrate the potential applications of strained 2D materials and further look forward to their opportunities and challenges in practical applications in the future.Shengxue Yang Yujia Chen Chengbao Jiang 2021InfoMat2021,3,4:3
7A heterogeneous double chamber electro-Fenton with high production of H_(2)O_(2) using La–CeO_(2) modified graphite felt as cathode显示文摘Hydrogen peroxide synthesis by electro-reduction of O_(2) to substitute the current anthraquinone process has attracted a great deal of attention. Low oxygen utilization rate and low hydrogen peroxide production remain obstacles to electro-Fenton application. In situ H_(2)O_(2) generated by electrochemical reaction depends on the electrochemical performance of the cathode and the structure of the reactor. Here, novel graphite felt(GF) modified by La-doped CeO_(2)(La-CeO_(2)) was developed as a cathode. A new double chamber electro-Fenton reactor was proposed, where an organic ultrafiltration membrane was used to prevent H_(2)O_(2) from spreading to the anode. The effects of hydrothermal temperature, time and urea concentration on the electrochemical properties of graphite felt were investigated. The accumulated concentration of H_(2)O_(2) on the modified cathode reached 218.4 mg·L^(-1)in 1 h when the optimal conditions of hydrothermal temperature 120 ℃ and urea concentration 0.55%(mass) in 24 h. The degradation rate of methyl orange reached 98.29%. 10SnSe field-effect transistors with improved electrical properties显示文摘Low-symmetry two-dimensional(2D)materials,with unique in-plane direction-dependent optical,electrical,and thermoelectric properties,have been intensively studied for their potential application values in advanced electronic and optoelectronic devices.However,since anisotropic 2D materials are highly sensitive to the environmental factors,researches on their high-performance field-effect transistors(FETs)are still limited.Here,we report a high-performance SnSe FET based on a van der Waals(vdWs)heterostructure of SnSe encapsulated in hexagonal boron nitride(/7BN)together with graphene contacts.The device exhibits a high on/off ratio exceeding 1 × 10^(9),and a carrier mobility of 118 cm^(2)·V^(-1)s^(-1).Our work highlights low-symmetry 2D SnSe holds potential to be used for designing excellent electronic devices.Shuai Liu Yujia Chen Shengxue Yang Chengbao Jiang 2022Nano Research2022,15,2:1

12Ultra-high spectral purity laser derived from weak external distributed perturbation显示文摘Ultra-high spectral purity lasers are of considerable research interests in numerous fields such as coherent optical communication,microwave photonics,distributed optical fiber sensing,gravitational wave detection,optical clock,and so on.Herein,to deeply purify laser spectrum with compact size under normal condition,we propose a novel and practical idea to effectively suppress the spontaneous radiation of the laser cavity through weak external distributed perturbation.Subsequently,a laser configuration consisting of a main lasing cavity and an external distributed feedback cavity is proposed.The feedback signal with continuous spatio-temporal phase transition controlled by a distributed feedback structure is injected into the main cavity,which can deeply suppress the coupling rate from the spontaneous radiation to the stimulated emission and extremely purify the laser spectrum.Eventually,an ultra-narrow linewidth on-chip laser system with a side mode suppression ratio greater than 80 dB,an output linewidth of 10 Hz,and a relative intensity noise less than-150 dB/Hz is successfully obtained under normal conditions.The proposed concept in this work provides a new perspective for extreme regulation of laser parameters by using weak external distributed perturbation,which can be valid for various gain-type lasers with wide wavelength bands.Laiyang Dang Ligang Huang Leilei Shi Fuhui Li Guolu Yin Lei Gao Tianyi Lan Yujia Li Lidan Jiang Tao Zhu 2023Opto-Electronic Advances2023,6,2:0
13Corner Transition Toolpath Generation Based on Velocity-Blending Algorithm for Glass Edge Grinding显示文摘Sharp corners usually are used on glass contours to meet the highly increasing demand for personalized products,but they result in a broken wheel center toolpath in edge grinding.To ensure that the whole wheel center toolpath is of G1 continuity and that the grinding depth is controllable at the corners,a transition toolpath generation method based on a velocity-blending algorithm is proposed.Taking the grinding depth into consideration,the sharp-corner grinding process is planned,and a velocity-blending algorithm is introduced.With the constraints,such as traverse displacement and grinding depth,the sharp-corner transition toolpath is generated with a three-phase motion arrangement and with confirmations of the acceleration/deceleration positions.A piece of glass with three sharp corners is ground on a three-axis numerical-control glass grinding equipment.The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can protect the sharp corners from breakage efficiently and achieve satisfactory shape accuracy.This research proposed a toolpath generation method based on a velocity-blending algorithm for the manufacturing of personalized glass products,which generates the transition toolpath as needed around a sharp corner in real time.Kun Ren Yujia Pan Danyan Jiang Jun Pan Wenhua Chen Xuxiao Hu 2019Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2019,32,5:0

16Therapeutic potential of an anti-HER2 single chain antibody-DM1 conjugates for the treatment of HER2-positive cancer显示文摘Antibody–drug conjugates(ADCs)take the advantage of monoclonal antibodies to selectively deliver highly potent cytotoxic drugs to tumor cells,which have become a powerful measure for cancer treatment in recent years.To develop a more effective therapy for human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(HER2)-positive cancer,we explored a novel ADCs composed of anti-HER2 scFv–HSA fusion antibodies conjugates with a potent cytotoxic drug DM1.The resulting ADCs,T-SA1–DM1 and T-SA2–DM1(drug-to-antibody ratio in the range of 3.2–3.5)displayed efficient inhibition in the growth of HER2-positive tumor cell lines and the half-maximal inhibitory concentration on SKBR-3 and SKOV3 cells were both at the nanomolar levels in vitro.In HER2-positive human ovarian cancer xenograft models,T-SA1–DM1 and T-SA2–DM1 also showed remarkable antitumor activity.Importantly,three out of six mice exhibited complete remission without regrowth in the high-dose group of T-SA1–DM1.On the basis of the analysis of luminescence imaging,anti-HER2 scFv–HSA fusion antibodies,especially T-SA1,showed strong and rapid tumor tissue penetrability and distribution compared with trastuzumab.Collectively,the novel type of ADCs is effective and selective targeting to HER2-positive cancer,and may be a promising antitumor drug candidate for further studies.Hang Zhang Yuxi Wang Yangping Wu Xiaohua Jiang Yiran Tao Yuqin Yao Yujia Peng Xiangzheng Chen Yuyin Fu Lin Yu Ruixue Wang Qinhuai Lai Weirong Lai Wenting Li Yuhuan Kang Shuli Yi Ying Lu Lantu Gou Min Wu Jinliang Yang 2017Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2017,2,1:0
17Growth Behavior of Rubrene Thin Films on Hexagonal Boron Nitride in the Early Stage显示文摘Two-dimensional materials,with an in-plane ordered and dangling-bonding-free surface,are ideal substrates for fabricating high-quality crystalline thin films.Here,we show a systematic study on the growth of a benchmark organic semiconductor,rubrene,on hexagonal boron nitride(h-BN)substrate via physical vapor deposition from the initial amorphous phase to the final crystalline phase;the role of temperature in such transition and the epitaxy relationship between rubrene and h-BN are revealed.With the increase of substrate temperature,the critical thickness of amorphous-crystalline-transition decreases and the morphology of crystalline phase also evolves from porous to terrace-like.When substrate temperature reaches>100℃,the critical thickness reduces to only 0.5 nm and a precise layer-by-layer growth from the very first layer is achieved,which is quite rare for rubrene growing on other substrates.The high ordering can be attributed to the fine epitaxy relationship between rubrene films and the h-BN surface lattice,and this film demonstrates good charge transport ability with a p-type field-effect mobility of>1 cm^(2)·V^(-1)·s^(-1).Yujia Wei Di Xue Lianlian Ji Jie Lu Qi Wang Xingyu Jiang Yinghui Sun Zi Wang Lizhen Huang Lifeng Chi 2022Chinese Journal of Chemistry2022,40,11:0

19Public Square Dancing Intervention on Subjective Well-Being of Middle-Aged and Elderly People:A Meta-Analysis显示文摘Objective:To understand the influence of public square dancing on the subjective well-being of middle-aged and elderly people.Methods:According to the principle of Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses(PRISMA)guidelines,we search Chinese databases,such as CNKI,Wanfang Data,and VIP,and English databases,such as Proquest,Web of Science,Pubmed,Cochrane,and ScienceDirect,and collect relevant articles at home and abroad from 2006 to December 2019 for meta-analysis in January 2020.Result:A total of 10 articles were included.The meta-analysis results showed that the well-being of middle-aged and elderly people in the public square dancing intervention group was significantly higher than that of the other exercise group and control group(both P<0.01).The results of the subgroup analysis showed the following:Different durations of intervention significantly influence the intervention effect(P<0.01).No difference was found between the effect of the mixed-gender intervention and the individual female intervention(P>0.05).No significant difference was found between the groups with weekly intervention frequency(P>0.05).Conclusion:Public square dancing intervention is effective for middle-aged and elderly people’s subjective well-being.Neither mixed intervention nor the times of weekly intervention have an impact on the intervention effect.However,the length of duration of intervention influences the intervention effect.Menglong Li Xia Jiang Yujia Ren 2022International Journal of Mental Health Promotion2022,24,1:0
20Bias Analysis in the Simulation of the Western North Pacific Tropical Cyclone Characteristics by Two High-Resolution Global Atmospheric Models显示文摘This study compares the atmosphere-only HighResMIP simulations from FGOALS-f3-H(FGOALS)and MRIAGCM3-2-S(MRI)with respect to tropical cyclone(TC)characteristics over the Western North Pacific(WNP)for the July-October months of 1985-2014.The focus is on investigating the role of the tropical easterly jet over the Western Pacific(WP_TEJ)in modulating the simulation biases in terms of their climatological distribution and interannual variability of WNP TC genesis frequency(TCGF)based on the analysis of the genesis potential index(GPI).Results show that the two models reasonably capture the main TC genesis location,the maximum center of frequency,and track density;however,their biases mainly lie in simulating the intense TCs and TCGF distributions.The MRI better simulates the windpressure relationship(WPR)but overestimates the proportion of super typhoons(SSTYs).At the same time,FGOALS underestimates the WPR and the proportion of SSTYs but better simulates the total WNP TC precipitation.In particular,FGOALS overestimates the TCGF in the northeastern WNP,which is strongly tied to an overestimated WP_TEJ and the enhanced vertical circulation to the north of its entrance region.In contrast,the MRI simulates a weaker WP_TEJ and vertical circulation,leading to a negative TCGF bias in most of the WNP.Both models exhibit comparable capability in simulating the interannual variability of WP_TEJ intensity,but the composite difference of large-scale atmospheric factors between strong and weak WP_TEJ years is overestimated,resulting in larger interannual anomalies of WNP TCGF,especially for FGOALS.Therefore,accurate simulations of the WP_TEJ and the associated oceanic and atmospheric factors are crucial to further improving WNP TC simulations for both models.Qiyang LIU Fengxue QIAO Yongqiang YU Yiting ZHU Shuwen ZHAO Yujia LIU Fulin JIANG Xinyu HU 2023Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2023,40,4:0
