| 1 | Entropy method for determination of weight of evaluating indicators in fuzzy synthetic evaluation for water quality assessment显示文摘Considering the difficulty of fuzzy synthetic evaluation method in calculation of the multiple factors and ignorance of the relationship among evaluating objects, a new weight evaluation process using entropy method was introduced. This improved method for determination of weight of the evaluating indicators was applied in water quality assessment of the Three Gorges reservoir area. The results showed that this method was favorable for fuzzy synthetic evaluation when there were more than one evaluating objects. One calculation was enough for calculating every monitoring point. | 4 | High-resolution records of Holocene from the Shuangchi Maar Lake in Hainan Island显示文摘The results of sedimentary characteristics, grain-size, clay mineral, C/N and pollen analysis reveal the evolution history of the Shuangchi Maar Lake of Hainan Island as well as the short-term climate variations in tropical areas. It is testified that the Maar sediment system was sensitive in recording the rapid climate changes in the Holocene. These multidisciplinary results demonstrate that the thermal maximum in the Holocene climate lasted from 7200 to 2700 aBP, with several abrupt ephemeral vibrations occurring between 7250-6120 aBP and at around 4460, 3850 and 2700 aBP. In the late Holocene, particularly at ~2700 aBP, a distinct environmental change indicating an important climate transition in the tropical eastern Asia was recorded, probably responding to the enhancement of ENSO phenomena in the Pacific Ocean. | 5 | Risk factor analysis of post-ERCP cholangitis: A single-center experience显示文摘Background: Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP) may have complications. Our study aimed to investigate the risk factors and prevention of post-ERCP cholangitis.Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 4234 cases undergone ERCP in the Affiliated Drum Tower Hospital of Nanjing University Medical School from January 2008 to December 2013. Patient-related factors and procedure-related factors were analyzed to find the risk factors of post-ERCP cholangitis. The time point of post-ERCP cholangitis was also analyzed. Univariate and multivariate analyses were performed to define the independent risk factors of post-ERCP cholangitis.Results: The success rate of ERCP was 96.8%(4099/4234). The overall complication rate was 9.4%(399/4234). Post-ERCP cholangitis occurred in 102 cases(2.4%, 102/4234). The most dangerous time of post-ERCP cholangitis was from 24 h–48 h after ERCP(45.1%, 46/102). Univariate analysis revealed that age, hypertension, diabetes, previous ERCP history, biliary stent insertion, pancreatography, endoscopic sphincterotomy, balloon dilation and hilar obstruction were risk factors of post-ERCP cholangitis(P < 0.05). Multivariate analysis indicated that age, previous ERCP history and hilar obstruction were independent risk factors(P < 0.05). While endoscopic stone extraction was the potential protective factor.Conclusions: Many risk factors are involved in post-ERCP cholangitis. | 6 | Clinical and laboratory features,treatment,and outcomes of macrophage activation syndrome in 80 children:a multi-center study in China显示文摘Background Macrophage activation syndrome(MAS)is a major cause of morbidity and mortality in pediatric rheumatology.We aimed to further understand the clinical features,treatment,and outcome of MAS in China.Methods A multi-center cohort study was performed in seven hospitals in China from 2012 to 2018.Eighty patients with MAS were enrolled,including 53 cases with systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis(SJIA-MAS),10 cases of Kawasaki disease(KD-MAS),and 17 cases of connective tissue disease(CTD-MAS).The clinical and laboratory data were collected before(pre-),at onset,and during full-blown stages of MAS.We compared the data among the SJIA-MAS,KD-MAS,and CTD-MAS subjects.Results 51.2%of patients developed MAS when the underlying disease was first diagnosed.In patients with SJIA,22.6%(12/53)were found to have hypotension before the onset of SJIA-MAS.These patients were also found to have significantly increased aspartate aminotransferase(AST)and lactate dehydrogenase(LDH),as well as decreased albumin(P<0.05),but no difference in alanine aminotransferase,ferdtin,and ratio of ferritin/erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR)at onset of MAS when compared to pre-MAS stages of the disease.In addition,ferritin and ratio of ferritin/ESR were significantly elevated in patients at full-blown stages of SJIA-MAS compared to pre-MAS stage.Significantly increased ferritin and ratio of ferritin/ESR were also observed in patients with SJIA compared to in KD and CTD.Receiver-operating characteristic analysis showed that 12,217.5μg/L of ferritin and 267.5 of ferritin/ESR ratio had sensitivity(80.0%and 90.5%)and specificity(88.2%and 86.7%),respectively,for predicting full-blown SJIA-MAS.The majority of the patients received corticosteroids(79/80),while biologic agents were used in 12.5%(10/80)of cases.Tocilizumab was the most commonly selected biologic agent.The overall mortality rate was 7.5%.Conclusions About half of MAS occurred when the underlying autoimmune diseases(SJIA,KD,and CTD)were first diagnosed.Hypotension could be an important manifestation before MAS diagnosis.Decreased albumin and increased AST,LDH,ferritin,and ratio of ferritin/ESR could predict the onset or full blown of MAS in patient with SJIA. | Li-Xia Zou Yun Zhu Li Sun Hui-Hui Ma Si-Rui Yang Hua-Song Zeng Ji-Hong Xiao Hai-Guo Yu Li Guo Yi-Ping Xu Mei-Ping Lu | 2020 | World Journal of Pediatrics2020，16，1： | 11 |

The problem that is addressed in this study is to design a decentralized robust guaranteed cost state feedback controller such that the closed-loop system is not only regular, impulse-free and stable, but also guarantees an adequate level of performance for all admissible uncertainties. A sufficient condition for the existence of the decentralized robust guaranteed cost state feedback controllers is proposed in terms of a linear matrix inequality (LMI) via LMI approach. When this condition is feasible, the desired state feedback decentralized robust guaranteed cost controller gain matrices can be obtained. | 10 | A cyclodextrin-based nanoformulation achieves co-delivery of ginsenoside Rg3 and quercetin for chemo-immunotherapy in colorectal cancer显示文摘The immune checkpoint blockade therapy has profoundly revolutionized the field of cancer immunotherapy. However, despite great promise for a variety of cancers, the efficacy of immune checkpoint inhibitors is still low in colorectal cancer(CRC). This is mainly due to the immunosuppressive feature of the tumor microenvironment(TME). Emerging evidence reveals that certain chemotherapeutic drugs induce immunogenic cell death(ICD), demonstrating great potential for remodeling the immunosuppressive TME. In this study, the potential of ginsenoside Rg3(Rg3) as an ICD inducer against CRC cells was confirmed using in vitro and in vivo experimental approaches. The ICD efficacy of Rg3 could be significantly enhanced by quercetin(QTN) that elicited reactive oxygen species(ROS). To amelioratein vivo delivery barriers associated with chemotherapeutic drugs, a folate(FA)-targeted polyethylene glycol(PEG)-modified amphiphilic cyclodextrin nanoparticle(NP) was developed for co-encapsulation of Rg3 and QTN. The resultant nanoformulation(CD-PEG-FA.Rg3.QTN) significantly prolonged blood circulation and enhanced tumor targeting in an orthotopic CRC mouse model, resulting in the conversion of immunosuppressive TME. Furthermore, the CD-PEG-FA.Rg3.QTN achieved significantly longer survival of animals in combination with Anti-PD-L1. | 15 | Sodium Butyrate Induces Apoptosis of Human Colon Cancer Cells by Modulating ERK and Sphingosine Kinase 2显示文摘Objective To investigate the role of extracellular signal-regulated kinase(ERK) in apoptosis of human colon cancer(HCT116) cells. Methods After the HCT116 cells were pretreated with specific ERK inhibitor(U0126) or specific siRNA and exposed to 10 mmol/L sodium butyrate(NaBT) for 24 h, their apoptosis was detected by flow cytometry, levels of SphK2 and ERK protein were measured by Western blot, and translocation of SphK2 was assayed by immunofluorescence microscopy. Results The U0126 and siRNAs specific for SphK2 blocked the export of SphK2 from nuclei to cytoplasm and increased the apoptosis of HCT116 cells following NaBT exposure. Over-expression of PKD decreased NaBT-induced apoptosis of HCT116 cells, which was reversed by U0126. Furthermore, transfection of HCT116 cells with constitutively activated PKD plasmids recovered the U0126-blocked export of SphK2. Conclusion ERK regulates the export of SphK2 and apoptosis of HCT116 cells by modulating PKD. | 16 | Effect of Sanhuangyilong decoction plus methotrexate on tumor necrosis factor alpha and interferon gamma in serum and synovial fluid in rheumatoid arthritis patients with symptom pattern of damp heat obstruction显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of Sanhuangyilong decoction plus methotrexate(MTX) on Interferon gamma(IFN-γ) and tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-α) in the serum and synovial fluid of rheumatoid arthritis(RA) patients with damp-heat-obstruction symptom pattern, Sanhuangyilong decoction and the role of TNF-α and IFN-γ in the development of RA.METHODS: RA inpatients with damp-heat-obstruction symptom pattern(partly with knee joint effusion) were selected as the research subjects. Before the treatment, healthy subjects and osteoarthritis(OA) patients with knee joint effusion were assigned to the serum control group and the synovial fluid control group, respectively; during the treatment, RA patients with damp-heat-obstruction symptom pattern were divided into two groups:one is combined group that was administered Sanhuangyilong decoction plus MTX; the other group was MTX group that received MTX only. The expression levels of TNF-α and IFN-γ in the serum and synovial fluid were measured with enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) before and after the treatment, and the peripheral blood levels of erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR), C-reactive protein(CRP) and disease activity score in 28 joints(DAS28)were determined.RESULTS: Before treatment, the serum levels of TNF-α and IFN-γ in the RA patients with dampheat-obstruction symptom pattern were higher than those in healthy control group(P < 0.05).The expression levels of TNF-α and IFN-γ in the synovial fluid of the RA patients were higher than those in the serum of the RA patients(P < 0.05). The expression levels of TNF-α and IFN-γ in the synovial fluid of the RA patients were higher than those of the sy-novial fluid of the osteoarthritis patients(P < 0.05).The expression of TNF-α and IFN-γ in the serum and synovial fluid of the RA patients had no correlation with the inflammatory activity index ESR, CRP,or DAS28(P > 0.05). After 2 weeks of treatment, the expression level of TNF-α and IFN-γ in the combined group had increased, although the difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05); in contrast, ESR, CRP, and DAS28 decreased, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.01). After 4 weeks of therapy, TNF-alpha and IFN-γ, ESR,CRP, and DAS28 in the combined group decreased compared with the before-treatment levels(P <0.01). After 2 w of treatment, the differences in the TNF-α and IFN-γ expression levels in the combined group were not statistically significant(P > 0.05)compared with that in the MTX group, although there were statistically significant differences in the ESR, CRP, and DAS28(P < 0.05). After 4 weeks of treatment, differences in TNF-α, IFN-γ, ESR, CRP, and DAS28 in the combined group compared with MTX group were statistically significant(P < 0.01).CONCLUSION: TNF-α and IFN-γ might be involved in the development of RA. | 19 | Vortex-Induced Vibrations of A Long Flexible Cylinder in Linear and Exponential Shear Flows显示文摘A numerical study based on a wake oscillator model was conducted to determine the response performance of vortex-induced vibration(VIV) on a long flexible cylinder with pinned-pinned boundary conditions subjected to linear and exponential shear flows. The coupling equations of a structural vibration model and wake oscillator model were solved using a standard central finite difference method of the second order. The VIV response characteristics including the structural displacement, structural frequency, structural wavenumber, standing wave behavior,travelling wave behavior, structural velocity, lift force coefficient and transferred energy from the fluid to the structure with different flow profiles were compared. The numerical results show that the VIV displacement is a combination of standing waves and travelling waves. For linear shear flow, standing waves and travelling waves dominate the VIV response within the low-velocity and high-velocity zones, respectively. The negative values of the transferred energy only occur within the low-velocity zone.
