| 1 | Providing personalized converged services based on flexible network reconfiguration显示文摘Recent developments show a progressing convergence of networks, services, and applications, which results in the necessity for new approaches to provide a ubiquitous experience on converged networks for specialized high data-rate services. A fundamental diversifying attribute for the future physical network convergence paradigm is pressing. In this paper, we make researches on converged resource reconfiguration model of substrate physical network based on hardware virtualization and provide a service oriented network architecture as a network convergence primitive. Based on the idea of hardware virtualization which is performed by platform deformation and component processing with reconfiguration (here, they are realized as reconfigurable routers (RR)), the substrate converged network, which inter-connects various access networks by reconfigurable routers, could be mapped into multiplex service oriented logical networks, supports dynamic reconfiguration due to diversified quality of services under heterogeneous environment, and therefore provides more flexible and high- speed multiple services. In addition, to demonstrate the generality of our model, we provide a prototype of reconfigurable router. The design, implementation and task scheduling as well as both hardware and software reconfiguration process of reconfigurable router are discussed in detail. | 6 | Providing Customized Security Based on Network Function Composition and Reconfiguration显示文摘Real-time multimedia sharing in Consumer-centric Multimedia Network(CMN) requires usability anywhere, anytime and from any device. However, CMNs are usually located or implemented on application layer, which makes CMNs subjected to their fixed substrate security framework. A fundamental diversifying attribute for the customized security experiences of CMNs is pressing. This paper proposes a programmable network structure which is named Service Processing Chain(SPC) based on network function combination. The SPC is established by the ordinal combination of network functions in substrate switches dynamically, and therefore constructs a special channel for each CMN with required security. The construction and reconfiguration algorithms of SPC are also discussed in this paper. Evaluations and implementation show that above approaches are effective in providing multilevel security with flexibility and expansibility. | 9 | A Method for Alpine Wetland Delineation and Features of Border: Zoigê Plateau, China显示文摘Accurate wetland delineation is the basis of wetland definition and mapping, and is of great importance for wetland management and research. The Zoigê Plateau on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau was used as a research site for research on alpine wetland delineation. Several studies have analyzed the spatiotemporal pattern and dynamics of these alpine wetlands, but none have addressed the issues of wetland boundaries. The objective of this work was to discriminate the upper boundaries of alpine wetlands by coupling ecological methods and satellite observations. The combination of Landsat 8 images and supervised classification was an effective method for rapid identification of alpine wetlands in the Zoigê Plateau. Wet meadow was relatively stable compared with hydric soils and wetland hydrology and could be used as a primary indicator for discriminating the upper boundaries of alpine wetlands. A slope of less than 4.5° could be used as the threshold value for wetland delineation. The normalized difference vegetation index(NDVI) in 434 field sites showed that a threshold value of 0.3 could distinguish grasslands from emergent marsh and wet meadow in September. The median normalized difference water index(NDWI) of emergent marsh remained more stable than that of wet meadow and grasslands during the period from September until July of the following year. The index of mean density in wet meadow zones was higher than the emergent and upland zones. Over twice the number of species occurred in the wet meadow zone compared with the emergent zone, and close to the value of upland zone. Alpine wetlands in the three reserves in 2014 covered 1175.19 km2 with a classification accuracy of 75.6%. The combination of ecological methods and remote sensing technology will play an important role in wetland delineation at medium and small scales. | 13 | ESMD-Flow: An Intelligent Flow Forwarding Scheme with Endogenous Security Based on Mimic Defense in Space-Air-Ground Integrated Network显示文摘The Space-Air-Ground Integrated Network(SAGIN) realizes the integration of space, air,and ground networks, obtaining the global communication coverage.Software-Defined Networking(SDN) architecture in SAGIN has become a promising solution to guarantee the Quality of Service(QoS).However, the current routing algorithms mainly focus on the QoS of the service, rarely considering the security requirement of flow. To realize the secure transmission of flows in SAGIN, we propose an intelligent flow forwarding scheme with endogenous security based on Mimic Defense(ESMD-Flow). In this scheme, SDN controller will evaluate the reliability of nodes and links, isolate malicious nodes based on the reliability evaluation value, and adapt multipath routing strategy to ensure that flows are always forwarded along the most reliable multiple paths. In addition, in order to meet the security requirement of flows, we introduce the programming data plane to design a multiprotocol forwarding strategy for realizing the multiprotocol dynamic forwarding of flows. ESMD-Flow can reduce the network attack surface and improve the secure transmission capability of flows by implementing multipath routing and multi-protocol hybrid forwarding mechanism. | 17 | Application of a green coagulant with PACl in efficient purification of turbid water and its mechanism study显示文摘The applications of natural polymeric flocculants due to their green feature has been recently received much more attention. In this work, the combined usages of a cationic starch-based coagulant and polyaluminum chloride(PACl) were extensively evaluated for various addition sequences in the coagulation of both raw(surface water from the Jiuxiang River) and synthetic turbid water(two kaolin suspensions with different initial turbidities).Two typical cationic starch-based coagulants with different structures(St-G and St-E) were tried. In comparison to St-G, St-E and PACl used individually as well as St-G and St-E dosed after PACl, the combination of the starch-based coagulants fed before PACl showed higher turbidity removal efficiency, which featured not only less optimal doses of both inorganic and organic coagulants but also lower residual turbidity. On the basis of a detailed analysis of the particle size and its distribution in solution supernatants before and after coagulation by two starch-based coagulants and PACl, polymeric coagulants preferentially coagulate the small-sized colloids due to their distinct long-chain structures, but PACl preferentially coagulates the medium-sized ones. Thus, the medium-sized particles that were previously formed by the starch-based coagulants would be collectively and effectively removed by the subsequent addition of PACl. | 18 | Using the Cooperative Game for Service Placement of Virtual Network Functions显示文摘To address the issues that middleboxes as a fundamental part of today's networks are facing, Network Function Virtualization(NFV)has been recently proposed, which in essence asserts to migrate hardware-based middleboxes into software-based virtualized function entities.Due to the demands of virtual services placement in NFV network environment, this paper models the service amount placement problem involving with the resources allocation as a cooperative game and proposes the placement policy by Nash Bargaining Solution(NBS). Specifically,we first introduce the system overview and apply the rigorous cooperative game-theoretic guide to build the mathematical model, which can give consideration to both the responding efficiency of service requirements and the allocation fairness.Then a distributed algorithm corresponding to NBS is designed to achieve predictable network performance for virtual instances placement.Finally, with simulations under various scenarios,the results show that our placement approach can achieve high utilization of network through the analysis of evaluation metrics namely the satisfaction degree and fairness index. With the suitable demand amount of services, the average values of two metrics can reach above 90%. | 19 | Drought stress and plant ecotype drive microbiome recruitment in switchgrass rhizosheath显示文摘The rhizosheath,a layer of soil grains that adheres firmly to roots,is beneficial for plant growth and adaptation to drought environments.Switchgrass is a perennial C4 grass which can form contact rhizosheath under drought conditions.In this study,we characterized the microbiomes of four different rhizocompartments of two switchgrass ecotypes(Alamo and Kanlow)grown under drought or well-watered conditions via 16S ribosomal RNA amplicon sequencing.These four rhizocompartments,the bulk soil,rhizosheath soil,rhizoplane,and root endosphere,harbored both distinct and overlapping microbial communities.The root compartments(rhizoplane and root endosphere)displayed low-complexity communities dominated by Proteobacteria and Firmicutes.Compared to bulk soil,Cyanobacteria and Bacteroidetes were selectively enriched,while Proteobacteria and Firmicutes were selectively depleted,in rhizosheath soil.Taxa from Proteobacteria or Firmicutes were specifically selected in Alamo or Kanlow rhizosheath soil.Following drought stress,Citrobacter and Acinetobacter were further enriched in rhizosheath soil,suggesting that rhizosheath microbiome assembly is driven by drought stress.Additionally,the ecotype-specific recruitment of rhizosheath microbiome reveals their differences in drought stress responses.Collectively,these results shed light on rhizosheath microbiome recruitment in switchgrass and lay the foundation for the improvement of drought tolerance in switchgrass by regulating the rhizosheath microbiome. | Tie-Yuan Liu Nenghui Ye Xinyu Wang Debatosh Das Yuxiang Tan Xiangkai You Mingxiu Long Tianming Hu Lei Dai Jianhua Zhang Mo-Xian Chen | 2021 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2021,63,10: | 1 |
