1Deep Structural Framework and Genetic Analysis of Gold Concentration Areas in the Northwestern Jiaodong Peninsula, China: A New Understanding based on High-Resolution Reflective Seismic Survey显示文摘The gold concentration areas in the northwestern Jiaodong Peninsula constituted an important gold metallogenetic region in Eastern China during the Mesozoic. The deep geological bodies' texture characteristic is important for exploring the resources thoroughly and understanding the metallogenic process. The detailed textures were revealed using high-resolution seismic profiles through the three major ore-controlling structures-Sanshandao fault zone, Jiaojia fault zone and Zhaoping fault zone. This study aims to establish a deep structural framework of this area. Based on their formation mechanism, the fault structures developed in the area can be divided into regional and local fault structures. The structural styles are characterised by superimposing their compressional, strike-slip and extensional multi-stage activities. The crust is cut by vertical structures corresponding to a left-lateral strike-slip fault system on the surface. Nearby these structures are the arc-shape structures formed by multi-stage magma intrusions into the upper crust. Bounded by the Tancheng–Lujiang and Muping–Jimo fault zones, the current Jiaodong block, developed a series of NE-trending strike-slip fault systems, was probably formed by the assemblage of several obliquely aligned blocks. The intensive magmatism and hydrothermal activity between the blocks induced large-scale mineralisation. 2Multiobjective optimal dispatch of microgrid based on analytic hierarchy process and quantum particle swarm optimization显示文摘Owing to the rapid development of microgrids(MGs)and growing applications of renewable energy resources,multiobjective optimal dispatch of MGs need to be studied in detail.In this study,a multiobjective optimal dispatch model is developed for a standalone MG composed of wind turbines,photovoltaics,diesel engine unit,load,and battery energy storage system.The economic cost,environmental concerns,and power supply consistency are expressed via subobjectives with varying priorities.Then,the analytic hierarchy process algorithm is employed to reasonably specify the weight coefficients of the subobjectives.The quantum particle swarm optimization algorithm is thereafter employed as a solution to achieve optimal dispatch of the MG.Finally,the validity of the proposed model and solution methodology are con firmed by case studies.This study provides refere nee for mathematical model of multiojective optimizati on of MG and can be widely used in current research field.Yuxin Zhao Xiaotong Song Fei Wang Dawei Cui 2020Global Energy Interconnection2020,3,6:6
3Metal-Organic Frameworks Functionalized Separators for Robust Aqueous Zinc-Ion Batteries显示文摘Aqueous zinc-ion batteries(AZIBs)are one of the promising energy storage systems,which consist of electrode materials,electrolyte,and separator.The first two have been significantly received ample development,while the prominent role of the separators in manipulating the stability of the electrode has not attracted sufficient attention.In this work,a separator(UiO-66-GF)modified by Zr-based metal organic framework for robust AZIBs is proposed.UiO-66-GF effectively enhances the transport ability of charge carriers and demonstrates preferential orientation of(002)crystal plane,which is favorable for corrosion resistance and dendrite-free zinc deposition.Consequently,Zn|UiO-66-GF-2.2|Zn cells exhibit highly reversible plating/stripping behavior with long cycle life over 1650 h at 2.0 mA cm^(−2),and Zn|UiO-66-GF-2.2|MnO_(2) cells show excellent long-term stability with capacity retention of 85%after 1000 cycles.The reasonable design and application of multifunctional metal organic frameworks modified separators provide useful guidance for constructing durable AZIBs.Yang Song Pengchao Ruan Caiwang Mao Yuxin Chang Ling Wang Lei Dai Peng Zhou Bingan Lu Jiang Zhou Zhangxing He 2022Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,12:5
4Comparison on effect of hydrophobicity on the antibacterial and antifungal activities of α-helical antimicrobial peptides显示文摘HPRP-A1, a 15-mer α-helical cationic peptide, was derived from N-terminus of ribosomal protein L1 (RpL1) of Helicobacter pylori. In this study, HPRP-A1 was used as a framework to obtain a series of peptide analogs with different hydrophobicity by single amino acid substitutions in the center of nonpolar face of the amphipathic helix in order to systematically study the effect of hydrophobicity on biological activities of -helical antimicrobial peptides. Hydrophobicity and net charge of peptides played key roles in the biological activities of these peptide analogs; HPRP-A1 and peptide analogs with relative higher hydrophobicity exerted broad spectrum antimicrobial activity against Gram-negative bacteria, Gram-positive bacteria and pathogenic fungi, but also showed stronger hemolytic activity; the change of hydrophobicity and net charge of peptides had similar effects with close trend and extent on antibacterial activities and antifungal activities. This indicated that there were certain correlations between the antibacterial mode of action and the antifungal mode of action of these peptides in this study. 5Effects of plant coverage on shrub fertile islands in the Upper Minjiang River Valley显示文摘The patchy distribution of vegetation in dry land results in well-documented 'fertile islands'. However, the response of shrub fertile islands to plant recovery and the underlying mechanisms, such as the linkage plant and soil properties, remain unknown.We sampled soils from areas with three different plant coverages(25%, 45%, and 75%) and three of their adjacent inter-plants to investigate soil physicochemical and microbial properties in the upper Minjiang River arid valley. The results showed that these factors were influenced by the persistence of plants that contrasted with the inter-plant interspaces. We found fertile islands in under-plant soil that were enhanced with increasing plant coverage, from 25% to 45% and 75%; however, there were no significant differences between 45% and 75% plant coverage apart from the soil clay content and the fungi to bacteria ratio. The soil microbial communities in under-plant soil were strongly influenced by the total soil carbon(TC), soil organic carbon(SOC),and available nitrogen(AN), whereas the microbial communities in inter-plant soil were primarily constrained by the AN and available phosphorous(AP). 6An Equivalent Substitute Strategy for Constructing 3D Ordered Porous Carbon Foams and Their Electromagnetic Attenuation Mechanism显示文摘Three-dimensional(3D)ordered porous carbon is generally believed to be a promising electromagnetic wave(EMW)absorbing material.However,most research works targeted performance improvement of 3D ordered porous carbon,and the specific attenuation mechanism is still ambiguous.Therefore,in this work,a novel ultra-light egg-derived porous carbon foam(EDCF)structure has been successfully constructed by a simple carbonization combined with the silica microsphere template-etching process.Based on an equivalent substitute strategy,the influence of pore volume and specific surface area on the electromagnetic parameters and EMW absorption properties of the EDCF products was confirmed respectively by adjusting the addition content and diameter of silica microspheres.As a primary attenuation mode,the dielectric loss originates from the comprehensive effect of conduction loss and polarization loss in S-band and C band,and the value is dominated by polarization loss in X band and Ku band,which is obviously greater than that of conduction loss.Furthermore,in all samples,the largest effective absorption bandwidth of EDCF-3 is 7.12 GHz under the thickness of 2.13 mm with the filling content of approximately 5 wt%,covering the whole Ku band.Meanwhile,the EDCF-7 sample with optimized pore volume and specific surface area achieves minimum reflection loss(RL_(min))of−58.08 dB at 16.86 GHz while the thickness is 1.27 mm.The outstanding research results not only provide a novel insight into enhancement of EMW absorption properties but also clarify the dominant dissipation mechanism for the porous carbon-based absorber from the perspective of objective experiments.Meng Zhang Hailong Ling Ting Wang Yingjing Jiang Guanying Song Wen Zhao Laibin Zhao Tingting Cheng Yuxin Xie Yuying Guo Wenxin Zhao Liying Yuan Alan Meng Zhenjiang Li 2022Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,10:3
7Occurrence, variations, and risk assessment of neonicotinoid insecticides in Harbin section of the Songhua River, northeast China显示文摘Neonicotinoid insecticides(NNIs)have been intensively used and exploited,resulting in their presence and accumulation in multiple environmental media.We herein investigated the current levels of eight major NNIs in the Harbin section of the Songhua River in northeast China,providing the first systematic report on NNIs in this region.At least four NNIs in water and three in sediment were detected,with total concentrations ranging from 30.8 to 135 ng L^(-1) and from 0.61 to 14.7 ng g^(-1) dw,respectively.Larger spatial variations in surface water NNIs concentrations were observed in tributary than mainstream(p<0.05)due to the intensive human activities(e.g.,horticulture,urban landscaping,and household pet flea control)and the discharge of wastewater from many treatment plants.There was a significant positive correlation(p<0.05)between the concentrations of residual imidacloprid(IMI),clothianidin(CLO),and S4NNIs in the sediment and total organic carbon(TOC).Due to its high solubility and low octanol-water partition coefficient(Kow),the sediment-water exchange behavior shows that NNIs in sediments can re-enter into the water body.Human exposure risk was assessed using the relative potency factor(RPF),which showed that infants have the highest exposure risk(estimated daily intake(SIMIeq EDI):31.9 ng kg^(-1) bw$d^(-1)).The concentration thresholds of NNIs for aquatic organisms in the Harbin section of the Songhua River were determined using the species sensitivity distribution(SSD)approach,resulting in a value of 355 ng L^(-1) for acute hazardous concentration for 5%of species(HC5)and 165 ng L^(-1) for chronic HC5.Aquatic organisms at low trophic levels were more vulnerable to potential harm from NNIs.Zhikun Liu Song Cui Leiming Zhang Zulin Zhang Rupert Hough Qiang Fu Yi-Fan Li Lihui An Mingzhi Huang Kunyang Li Yuxin Ke Fuxiang Zhang 2021Environmental Science and Ecotechnology2021,,4:2

9SEM-CL Study of Quartz Containing Fluid Inclusions in Wangjiazhuang Porphyry Copper (-Molybdenum) Deposit, Western Shandong, China显示文摘The Wangjiazhuang porphyry copper(-molybdenum)deposit is located at Zouping volcanic basin in Shandong Province,East China and hosted in the Wangjiazhuang intrusive complex emplaced along a late volcanic conduit.There are two types of ores in this deposit:early disseminated and stockwork ores in the ore-bearing intrusion,and late massive sulfide-quartz veins above brecciated quartz monzonite.The ore minerals are mainly pyrite,chalcopyrite,and subordinately magnetite,tennantite,molybdenite with minor bornite,enargite,galena and sphalerite,etc.,and gangue minerals including K-feldspar,biotite,quartz,muscovite-sericite,chlorite and calcite.Combined with fluid inclusion study,the scanning electron microscope-cathodoluminescence(SEM-CL)study of quartz in the deposit and wall rocks shows significant differences between the two types of quartz in the ores.In addition,four types of primary-pseudosecondary fluid inclusions in the quartz have been recognized.They are one-or two-phase aqueous inclusions with vapor/liquid ratios less than 30%to 40%(type Ⅰ);gas-rich inclusions with vapor/liquid ratios more than 50%(type Ⅱ),some of which contain some small opaque minerals,probably chalcopyrite;multiphase fluid inclusions with daughter minerals of halite±anhydrite±opaque(chalcopyrite)±sylvite±hematite±unknown crystal(type Ⅲ);and mica-bearing fluid inclusions(type Ⅳ).Quartz containing abundant muscovite-bearing and halite-bearing fluid inclusions in the mineralized quartz monzonite with potassic-silicic alteration,have better oscillatory growth zoning with CL-colors from bright in the core to darker in the rim,indicating variations of element concentrations in the fluid media from which quartz grew during the later period of magmatic-hydrothermal process.In contrast,the quartz in the sulfide-quartz veins contains mainly fluid inclusions of low-to-medium salinities and does not show oscillatory zoning,indicating that there was less fluctuation in composition and element concentrations of the hydrothermal fluids.However,the quartz containing halite-bearing fluid inclusions and being associated with copper-molybdenum mineralization in the sulfide-quartz veins shows zoning in its rims,indicating variations in composition and element concentrations of the hydrothermal fluids.Lei Shu Kun Shen Renchao Yang Yingxin Song Yuqin Sun Wei Shan Yuxin Xiong 2020Journal of Earth Science2020,31,2:2

11Metasurface empowered lithium niobate optical phased array with an enlarged field of view显示文摘Integrated optical phased arrays(OPAs) have attracted significant interest to steer laser beams for applications including free-space communications, holography, and light detection and ranging. Although many methods have been proposed to suppress grating lobes, OPAs have also been limited by the trade-off between field of view(FOV)and beamforming efficiency. Here, we propose a metasurface empowered port-selected OPA(POPA), an OPA steered by port selection, which is implemented by an aperiodic waveguide array with an average pitch less than the wavelength and phase controlled by coupling among waveguides. A metasurface layer above the POPA was designed to increase wide FOV steering, aliasing-free by polarization division. As a result, we experimentally demonstrate beam scanning over a ±41.04° × 7.06° FOV. 12Astragalus polysaccharide regulates brown adipogenic differentiation through miR-1258-5p-modulated cut-like homeobox 1 expression显示文摘Astragalus polysaccharide(APS)is the major natural active component of Astragalus membranaceus,which has been recognized as one of the most popular herbal medicines worldwide.Enhancing the formation and function of brown adipose tissue increases energy expenditure and hence may potentially be used against obesity and type 2 diabetes.The aim of the present study was to explore the effect and mechanism of APS on brown adipocyte formation.Mouse C3H10T 1/2 cells were subject to APS,and both proliferation and brown adipogenic differentiation were determined.The results showed that APS exhibits a decreased proliferation ability,which is accompanied by downregulated proliferating cell nuclear antigen,cyclin D1,and cyclin-dependent kinase 4.APS promotes the differentiation of C3H10T 1/2 cells into brown adipocytes and induces the expressions of key brown adipogenic transcriptional factors,including CCAAT/enhancer-binding proteinβ,uncoupling protein 1,and PR domain-containing 16.Importantly,APS enables insulin sensitization in brown adipocytes,which may proceed through activation of the canonical phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase(PI3K)/protein kinase B(AKT)signaling pathway and AMP-activated protein kinase(AMPK).Furthermore,the level of cut-like homeobox 1(CUX1)is positively related to brown adipogenic differentiation,while APS regulates Cux1 expression through interaction with miR-1258-5p.Notably,the promotional effect of APS on brown adipogenic differentiation was abolished by Cux1 knockout.Collectively,our results suggest that APS enhances the differentiation of C3H10T 1/2 cells into brown adipocytes through regulating Cux1 via miR-1258-5p.Yuxin Cao Buhao Deng Shihe Zhang Hongmei Gao Pengkang Song Jianxin Zhang Junxing Zhao 2021Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,12:1

15Facile fabrication of branched-chain carbohydrate chips for studying carbohydrate-protein interactions by QCM biosensor显示文摘A novel approach for fabricating branched-chain(BC) carbohydrate chips to study carbohydrate-protein interactions using Quartz Crystal Microbalance(QCM) biosensor was developed. This approach utilizes functional alkynyl-branch molecule modified chip surfaces, which through the terminal alkynyl group for covalent linking of unprotected azide-carbohydrates. The unprotected azide-carbohydrates were syhthesized in one-step using 2-azido-1,3-dimethyl-imidazolinium as catalyst, avoiding complex chemical modifications. Additionally, the branch surface modified with the carbohydrates not only supplies more specific binding site but also reveals significant cluster effect. To exemplify the sugar cluster effect on BC carbohydrate chips, BC Galactose and Mannose chips prepared in this work were used to determine carbohydrate-lectin interactions using QCM biosensor. The results clearly showed that BC chip significantly improves the detection sensitivity compared with the straight-chain(SC) chip. 18A virus-induced conformational switch of STAT1-STAT2 dimers boosts antiviral defenses显示文摘Type I interferons(IFN-)protect us from viral infections.Signal transducer and activator of transcription 2(STAT2)is a key component of interferon-stimulated gene factor 3(ISGF3),which drives gene expression in response to IFN-I.Using electron microscopy,we found that,in naive cells,U-STAT2,lacking the activating tyrosine phosphorylation,forms a heterodimer with U-STAT1 in an inactive,anti-parallel conformation.A novel phosphorylation of STAT2 on T404 promotes IFN-I signaling by disrupting the U-STAT1-U-STAT2 dimer,facilitating the tyrosine phosphorylation of STATs 1 and 2 and enhancing the DNA-binding ability of ISGF3.IKK-ε,activated by virus infection,phosphorylates T404 directly.Mice with a T-A mutation at the corresponding residue(T403)are highly susceptible to virus infections.We conclude that T404 phosphorylation drives a critical conformational switch that,by boosting the response to IFN-I in infected cells,enables a swift and efficient antiviral defense.Yuxin Wang Qiaoling Song Wei Huang Yuxi Lin Xin Wang Chenyao Wang Belinda Willard Chenyang Zhao Jing Nan Elise Holvey-Bates Zhuoya Wang Derek Taylor Jinbo Yang George RStark 2021Cell Research2021,31,2:1
19Compared Insights on Machine-Learning Anomaly Detection for Process Control Feature显示文摘Anomaly detection is becoming increasingly significant in industrial cyber security,and different machine-learning algorithms have been generally acknowledged as various effective intrusion detection engines to successfully identify cyber attacks.However,different machine-learning algorithms may exhibit their own detection effects even if they analyze the same feature samples.As a sequence,after developing one feature generation approach,the most effective and applicable detection engines should be desperately selected by comparing distinct properties of each machine-learning algorithm.Based on process control features generated by directed function transition diagrams,this paper introduces five different machine-learning algorithms as alternative detection engines to discuss their matching abilities.Furthermore,this paper not only describes some qualitative properties to compare their advantages and disadvantages,but also gives an in-depth and meticulous research on their detection accuracies and consuming time.In the verified experiments,two attack models and four different attack intensities are defined to facilitate all quantitative comparisons,and the impacts of detection accuracy caused by the feature parameter are also comparatively analyzed.All experimental results can clearly explain that SVM(Support Vector Machine)and WNN(Wavelet Neural Network)are suggested as two applicable detection engines under differing cases.Ming Wan Quanliang Li Jiangyuan Yao Yan Song Yang Liu Yuxin Wan 2022Computers, Materials & Continua2022,,11:1
20Bufalin suppresses ovarian cancer cell proliferation via EGFR pathway显示文摘Background:Previous studies have shown that bufalin exerts antitumor effects through various mechanisms.This study aimed to determine the antineoplastic mechanism of bufalin,an extract of traditional Chinese medicine toad venom,in ovarian cancer.Methods:The 3-(4,5-Dimethyl-2-thiazolyl)-2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide(MTT),5-ethynyl-2′-deoxyuridine(EdU),and colony formation assays were used to investigate the antiproliferative effect of bufalin on the ovarian cancer cell line SK-OV-3.Molecular docking was used to investigate the combination of bufalin and epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)protein.Western blotting was performed to detect the expression of EGFR protein and its downstream targets.Results:Bufalin inhibited the proliferation of SK-OV-3 cells in a dose-and time-dependent manner.Bufalin was confirmed to combine with EGFR protein using molecular docking and downregulate expression of EGFR.Bufalin inhibited phosphorylation of EGFR,protein kinase B(AKT),and extracellular signal-regulated kinase(ERK).Conclusion:Bufalin suppresses the proliferation of ovarian cancer cells through the EGFR/AKT/ERK signaling pathway.Lei Dou Dan Zou Feiran Song Yuxin Jin Yin Li Yi Zhang 2022Chinese Medical Journal2022,,4:1
