| 1 | Cerebral small vessel disease or intracranial large vessel atherosclerosis may carry different risk for future strokes显示文摘Background The effect of cerebral small vessel disease(CSVD)and intracranial arterial stenosis(ICAS)on stroke outcomes remains unclear.Methods Data of 1045 patients with minor stroke or transient ischaemic attack(TIA)were obtained from 45 sites of the Clopidogrel in High-Risk Patients with Acute Non-disabling Cerebrovascular Events(CHANCE)trial.We assessed the associations of burdens of CSVD and ICAS with new strokes and bleeding events using multivariate Cox regression models and those with modified Rankin Scale(mRS)scores using ordinal logistic regression models.Results Among the 1045 patients,CSVD was present in 830 cases(79.4%)and ICAS in 460(44.0%).Patients with>1 ICAS segment showed the highest risk of new strokes(HR 2.03,95%CI 1.15 to 3.56,p=0.01).No association between CSVD and the occurrence of new strokes was found.The presence of severe CSVD(common OR(cOR)2.01,95%CI 1.40 to 2.89,p<0.001)and>1 ICAS segment(cOR 2.15,95%CI 1.57 to 2.93,p<0.001)was associated with higher mRS scores.Severe CSVD(HR 10.70,95%CI 1.16 to 99.04,p=0.04),but not ICAS,was associated with a higher risk of bleeding events.Six-point modified CSVD score improved the predictive power for bleeding events and disability.Interpretation CSVD is associated with more disability and bleeding events,and ICAS is associated with an increased risk of stroke and disability in patients with minor stroke and TIA at 3 months.CSVD and ICAS may represent different vascular pathologies and play distinct roles in stroke outcomes. | Huimin Chen Yuesong Pan Lixia Zong Jing Jing Xia Meng Yuyuan Xu Hongyi Yan Xingquan Zhao Liping Liu Hao Li S Claiborne Johnston Yongjun Wang Yilong Wang | 2020 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2020,5,2: | 13 |
| 2 | Photocatalytic oxidation of phenol in aqueous solutions with oxygen catalyzed by supported metallophthalocyanine catalyst显示文摘In this paper, zinc tetraaminophthalocyanine (Zn-APc) was immobilized on cellulosic fiber by covalent bond to obtain a novel cellulosic fiber supported metallophthalocyanine, named Zn-TDTAPc-F. At pH 11, upon visible light irradiation for 6 h in the presence of O2, Zn-TDTAPc-F was found to be highly effective for the degradation of phenol in aqueous solution, and the degradation rate of phenol was more than 95%. | 5 | Rice metabolic regulatory network spanning the entire life cycle显示文摘As one of the most important crops in the world,rice(Oryza sativa)is a model plant for metabolome research.Although many studies have focused on the analysis of specific tissues,the changes in metab-olite abundance across the entire life cycle have not yet been determined.In this study,combining both tar-geted and nontargeted metabolite profiling methods,a total of 825 annotated metabolites were quantified in rice samples from different tissues covering the entire life cycle.The contents of metabolites in different tissues of rice were significantly different,with various metabolites accumulating in the plumule and radicle during seed germination.Combining these data with transcriptome data obtained from the same time period,we constructed the Rice Metabolic Regulation Network.The metabolites and co-expressed genes were further divided into 12 clusters according to their accumulation patterns,with members within each cluster displaying a uniform and clear pattern of abundance across development.Using this dataset,we established a comprehensive metabolic profile of the rice life cycle and used two independent strategies to identify novel transcription factors-namely the use of known regulatory genes as bait to screen for new networks underlying lignin metabolism and the unbiased identification of new glycerophospholipid metabolism regulators on the basis of tissue specificity.This study thus demonstrates how guilt-by-association analysis of metabolome and transcriptome data spanning the entire life cycle in cereal crops provides novel resources and tools to aid in understanding the mechanisms underlying important agro-nomic traits. | Chenkun Yang Shuangqian Shen Shen Zhou Yufei Li Yuyuan Mao Junjie Zhou Yuheng Shi Longxu An Qianqian Zhou Wenju Peng Yuanyuan Lyu Xuemei Liu Wei Chen Shouchuang Wang Lianghuan Qu Xianqing Liu Alisdair R.Fernie Jie Luo | 2022 | Molecular Plant2022,15,2: | 3 |

| 8 | Study on catalytic oxidation of planar binuclear copper phthalocyanine on 2-mercaptoethanol显示文摘Mononuclear copper phthalocyanine (CuPc) and binuclear copper phthalocyanine (Cu2Pc2) were synthesized by the phenylanhydride-urea route, and their catalytic oxidation activity on 2-mercaptoethanol was studied. Based on the experimental results, a catalytic mechanism of Cu2Pc2 on 2-mercaptoethanol has been proposed. Furthermore, the effects of pH, Cu2Pc2 concentration, and temperature on the catalytic oxidation activity were evaluated. The results showed that CuPc has no catalytic activity, while Cu2Pc2 has high catalytic oxidation activity towards 2-mercaptoethanol with the optimal activity at pH 11. | 10 | The bacterial abundance and production in the East China Sea: seasonal variations and relationships with the phytoplankton biomass and production显示文摘The East China Sea is a productive marginal sea with a wide continental shelf and plays an important role in absorbing atmospheric carbon dioxide and transferring terrigenous organic matter to the open ocean. To investigate the roles of heterotrophic bacteria in the biogeochemical dynamics in the East China Sea, bacterial biomasses(BB) and productions(BP) were measured in four cruises. The spatial distributions of the BB and the BP were highly season-dependent. Affected by the Changjiang River discharge, the BB and the BP were high in shelf waters(bottom depth not deeper than 50 m) and generally decreased offshore in August 2009. In December 2009 to January 2010, and November to December 2010, the BB and the BP were high in waters with medium bottom depth. The onshore-offshore decreasing trends of the BB and the BP also existed in May–June 2011, when the BB was significantly higher than in other cruises in shelf break waters(bottom depth deeper than 50 m but not deeper than 200 m). The results of generalized additive models(GAM) suggest that the BB increased with the temperature at a range of 8-20°C, increased with the chlorophyll concentration at a range of 0.02–3.00 mg/m3 and then declining, and decreased with the salinity from 28 to 35. The relationship between the temperature and the log-transformed bacterial specific growth rate(SGR) was linear. The estimated temperature coefficient(Q10) of the SGR was similar with that of the phytoplankton growth. The SGR also increased with the chlorophyll concentration. The ratio of the bacterial to phytoplankton production ranged from less than 0.01 to 0.40, being significantly higher in November–December 2010 than in May–June 2011.
