1Emission characteristics of surface second-order metal grating distributed feedback semiconductor lasers显示文摘To obtain high-power semiconductor lasers with stable operation in a single longitudinal mode and improve the characteristics of the output beam,an end-emitting surface second-order metal grating distributed feedback(DFB) laser emitting at around 940 nm is fabricated.The characteristics of the uncoated devices with and without gratings are tested under room temperature continuous-wave conditions without any temperature-control device and compared.The devices with gratings achieve high powers of up to 385 mW/facet and a small lateral far-field angle of 2.7° at 1.5 A,have only 4.13 nm/A wavelength-shift,and 0.09 nm spectral linewidth at 600 mA,and operate in a stable longitudinal mode.Devices without gratings operate in multimode,with a larger lateral far-field angle(7.3°) and spectral linewidth(1.3 nm),although with higher output powers.Because of the integration of second-order metal gratings and their very high coupling capability,the output beam quality is improved greatly,the lasing wavelength is stable and varies slowly with changes in injection current,while the spectrum is narrowed dramatically,and the far-field angles are greatly reduced.This opens the way for the realization of watt-scale power broad-stripe(>100 μm) surface second-order metal grating end and surface-emitting DFB lasers and arrays with single frequency,single mode operation and high output beam quality.SHI JunXiu QIN Li LIU Yun ZHANG Nan ZHANG Jian ZHANG LiSen JIA Peng NING YongQiang ZENG YuGang ZHANG JinLong WANG LiJun 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,17:5
2Dual activated NIR-Ⅱ fluorescence and photoacoustic imaging-guided cancer chemo-radiotherapy using hybrid plasmonic-fluorescent assemblies显示文摘Multimodal imaging in the second near-infrared window(NIR-II)guided cancer therapy is a highly precise and efficient cancer theranostic strategy.However,it is still a challenge to develop activated NIR-II optical imaging and therapy agents.In this study,we develop a pH-responsive hybrid plasmonic-fluorescent vesicle by self-assembly of amphiphilic plasmonic nanogapped gold nanorod(AuNNR)and fluorescent down-conversion nanoparticles(DCNP)(AuNNR-DCNP Ve),showing remarkable and activated NIR-II fluorescence(FL)/NIR-II photoacoustic(PA)imaging performances.The hybrid vesicle also exhibited superior loading capacity of doxorubicin as a superior drug carrier and efficient radiosensitizer for X-ray-induced radiotherapy.Interestingly,the accumulated hybrid AuNNR-DCNP Ve in the tumor resulted in a recovery of NIR-II FL imaging signal and a variation in NIR-II PA imaging signal.Dual activated NIR-II PA and FL imaging of the hybrid vesicle could trace drug release and precisely guided cancer radiotherapy to ultimately reduce the side effects to healthy tissue.Tao Chen Lichao Su Xiaoguang Ge Wenmin Zhang Qingqing Li Xuan Zhang Jiamin Ye Lisen Lin Jibin Song Huanghao Yang 2020Nano Research2020,13,12:4
3Magnetic resonance imaging for non-invasive clinical evaluation of normal and regenerated cartilage显示文摘With the development of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine,it is much desired to establish bioimaging techniques to monitor the real-time regeneration efficacy in vivo in a non-invasive way.Herein,we tried magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)to evaluate knee cartilage regeneration after implanting a biomaterial scaffold seeded with chondrocytes,namely,matrix-induced autologous chondrocyte implantation(MACI).After summary of the T2 mapping and the T1-related delayed gadolinium-enhanced MRI imaging of cartilage(dGEMRIC)in vitro and in vivo in the literature,these two MRI techniques were tried clinically.In this study,18 patients were followed up for 1 year.It was found that there was a significant difference between the regeneration site and the neighboring normal site(control),and the difference gradually diminished with regeneration time up to 1 year according to both the quantitative T1 and T2 MRI methods.We further established the correlation between the quantitative evaluation of MRI and the clinical Lysholm scores for the first time.Hence,the MRI technique was confirmed to be a feasible semiquantitative yet non-invasive way to evaluate the in vivo regeneration of knee articular cartilage.Xian Xu Jingming Gao Shuyun Liu Liang Chen Min Chen Xiaoye Yu Ning Ma Jun Zhang Xiaobin Chen Lisen Zhong Lin Yu Liming Xu Quanyi Guo Jiandong Ding 2021Regenerative Biomaterials2021,8,5:2
4Highly selective NIR fluorescent probe for acetylcholinesterase and its application in pesticide residues detection显示文摘A series of near-infrared(NIR)fluorescent substrates(NDRO-1∼8)derived from fluorophore NDRH with different volumes of ester bond as the recognition group were designed and synthesized for the detection of acetylcholinesterase(AChE),among which NDRO-1 with the smallest acetate group displayed the highest activity toward AChE.The detection limit of NDRO-1 for sensing AChE was 0.32μg/mL,and K_(m )was 6.40μmol/L,indicating ultra-sensitivity and good affinity of NDRO-1 toward AChE.NDRO-1 was used to detect the inhibitory of four kinds of pesticides including methamidophos,dichlorvos,and the detection limit was lower than 50μg/L,which was further used in pesticide residues detection.Shengui He Shufang Zhang Xin Zhao Xinyue Zhu Lisen Chen Jingnan Cui 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,9:1
5Activatable nanoscale metal-organic framework for ratiometric photoacoustic imaging of hydrogen sulfide and orthotopic colorectal cancer in vivo显示文摘Nanoscale metal-organic frameworks(nano MOFs)have emerged as a promising biomedical nanoplatform because of their unique properties.However,the exploration of nano MOFs in photoacoustic(PA)imaging is still limited.Here,a novel hydrogen sulfide(H2 S)-activated nano copper-based MOF(Cu-MOF)was developed as a near-infrared(NIR)ratiometric PA probe for in vivo monitoring of endogenous H2 S level and orthotopic colorectal cancer imaging via in situ reaction of nano Cu-MOFs with endogenous H2 S that is closely associated with tumor growth and proliferation in colon cancer.The synthesized nano Cu-MOFs displayed excellent PA responsiveness towards tumor H2 S level with high selectivity and rapid kinetics.The result suggests the developed probe may provide a unique opportunity to investigate the malignant behaviors of H2 S-associated events in vivo.Wenmin Zhang Jun Wang Lichao Su Hui Chen Lan Zhang Lisen Lin Xiaoyuan Chen Jibin Song Huanghao Yang 2020Science China Chemistry2020,63,9:1
6Application of surfactant for improving leaching process of weathered crust elution-deposited rare earth ores显示文摘Weathered crust elution-deposited rare earth ores(WREOs)in China are the main source of medium and heavy rare earths in the world.In order to improve the seepage and the mass transfer of traditional ammonium salt leaching process of WREOs,surfactants were added in the ammonium sulfate leaching solution and the ammonium chloride leaching solution.The leaching kinetics,the mass transfer process,and the adhesion work reduction factor calculated from the interfacial properties were studied to reveal the strengthening mechanism of surfactant.In the presence of the tested five surfactants,cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide(CTAB),dodecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide(DTAB),sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS),sodium oleate and oleic acid,the permeability of WREOs is improved,the rare earth(RE)leaching efficiency increase and the impurity aluminum(Al)leaching efficiency decrease,indicating its promotional effect on the leaching process of WREOs.Furthermore,CTAB shows a better leaching enhancement,and the optimal addition dosage is 0.4 g/L for the two ammonium salt leaching agent systems.The kinetics analysis shows the internal diffusion controls model of RE and Al leaching process,and the leaching kinetics equations of RE and Al related to CTAB concentration were obtained for the two ammonium salt leaching systems.According to the chromatographic plate theory,the mass transfer efficiency of RE increases with the CTAB concentration increasing until 0.4 g/L,which confirms that the optimal CTAB addition is 0.4 g/L.Smaller adhesion work and adhesion work reduction factor indicate more favorable permeation as well as the leaching process.Fang Zhou Lisen Zhang Zhiwei Wang Yixin Zhang Ru'an Chi Xiaoyan Wu 2024Journal of Rare Earths2024,42,1:0
7Brazilein intervention for sciatic nerve injury in BALB/c mice显示文摘Brazilein has been shown to exert an immune regulation effect on regeneration in the central nervous system,but there is currently no consensus regarding its effect on sciatic nerve injury.In the current study,western blot and real-time PCR detection revealed that,after 16 and 8 g/kg of brazilein intervention,the amount of S100 protein and mRNA at L4-6 spinal segments of sciatic nerve injured mice was significantly greater than after 4 g/kg brazilein administration,and in an untreated model group.Luxol Fast Blue myelin staining revealed that neural regeneration after 16 and 8 g/kg of brazilein intervention was significantly better than after 4 g/kg brazilein administration,and in the model group.In addition,electrophysiological and immunohistochemical examinations further confirmed the effect of brazilein in repairing sciatic nerve injury in BALB/c mice.These results indicated that brazilein was able to activate the S100 in anterior horn cells of the spinal cord,promoting sciatic nerve regeneration and repair.Both moderate and high doses were found to exert significant effects.Zhan Zhang Jian Cao Weitian Yin Lisen Li Yuxi Jia Haoyu Liu Mingming Zhao Rihua Jiang 2011Neural Regeneration Research2011,6,12:0
8Effect of surfactant addition on leaching process of weathered crust elution-deposited rare earth ores with magnesium sulfate显示文摘Surfactants were proposed to be added into magnesium sulfate solution to improve the leaching process of weathered crust elution-deposited rare earth ores(WREOs).Effects of surfactants and their concentration on the seepage of leaching solutions and the leaching efficiency of rare earth(RE)and aluminum(Al)were investigated,and the leaching kinetics,the mass transfer process,the adhesion work and the adhesion work reduction factor were analyzed to reveal its strengthening leaching mechanism.The results show that cetyltrimethylammonium bromide(CTAB)has a better strengthening effect on the leaching process than dodecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide(DTAB),sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS),sodium oleate and oleic acid.In the presence of 0.04%CTAB in 0.2 mol/L solution,the permeability coefficient of WREOs increases from 0.945×10^(-5)to 1.640×10^(-5)cm·s^(-1),and the leaching efficiency of RE increases from 80%to 90%,confirming the promotion of surfactants on the leaching process of WREOs.Kinetic analysis shows that the leaching process conforms to the inner diffusion control model,and the leaching kinetics equations of RE and Al related to CTAB content are obtained.Mass transfer discussion shows a smaller height equivalent to theoretical plate(HETP)of RE and Al at CTAB content of 0.04%,suggesting the higher mass transfer efficiency here.According to the interfacial properties of leaching solutions,the calculated adhesion work and the adhesion work reduction factor further demonstrate the strengthening leaching effect of CTAB on the leaching process of WREOs.Fang Zhou Lisen Zhang Zhiwei Wang Yixin Zhang Ruan Chi 2023International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2023,33,8:0
