2A preliminary analysis of the surface chemistry of atmospheric aerosol particles in a typical urban area of Beijing显示文摘Atmospheric aerosol particle samples were collected using an Ambient Eight Stage(Non-Viable) Cascade Impactor Sampler in a typical urban area of Beijing from 27 th Sep.to 5th Oct.,2009.The surface chemistry of these aerosol particles was analyzed using Static Time of Flight-Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry(Static TOF-SIMS).The factors influencing surface compositions were evaluated in conjunction with the air pollution levels,meteorological factors,and air mass transport for the sampling period.The results show that a variety of organic ion groups and inorganic ions/ion groups were accumulated on the surfaces of aerosol particles in urban areas of Beijing;and hydrophobic organic compounds with short-or middle-chain alkyl as well as hydrophilic secondary inorganic compounds were observed.All these compounds have the potential to affect the atmospheric behavior of urban aerosol particles.PM1.1–2.1and PM3.3–4.7had similar elements on their surfaces,but some molecules and ionic groups demonstrated differences in Time of Flight-Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry spectra.This suggests that the quantities of elements varied between PM1.1–2.1and PM3.3–4.7.In particular,more intense research efforts into fluoride pollution are required,because the fluorides on aerosol surfaces have the potential to harm human health.The levels of air pollution had the most significant influence on the surface compositions of aerosol particles in our study.Hence,heavier air pollution was associated with more complex surface compositions on aerosol particles.In addition,wind,rainfall,and air masses from the south also greatly influenced the surface compositions of these urban aerosol particles.Zhengzheng Zhang Hong Li Hongyan Liu Runxiang Ni Jinjuan Li Liqun Deng Defeng Lu Xueli Cheng Pengli Duan Wenjun Li 2016Journal of Environmental Sciences2016,28,9:5

4Advances in metal halide perovskite lasers: synthetic strategies, morphology control, and lasing emission显示文摘.In the past decade,lead halide perovskites have emerged as potential optoelectronic materials in the fields of light-emitting diode,solar cell,photodetector,and laser,due to their low-cost synthesis method,tunable bandgap,high quantum yield,large absorption,gain coefficient,and low trap-state densities.In this review,we present a comprehensive discussion of lead halide perovskite applications,with an emphasis on recent advances in synthetic strategies,morphology control,and lasing performance.In particular,the synthetic strategies of solution and vapor progress and the morphology control of perovskite nanocrystals are reviewed.Furthermore,we systematically discuss the latest development of perovskite laser with various fundamental performances,which are highly dependent on the dimension and size of nanocrystals.Finally,considering current challenges and perspectives on the development of lead halide perovskite nanocrystals,we provide an outlook on achieving high-quality lead perovskite lasers and expanding their practical applications.Zhiping Hu Zhengzheng Liu Zijun Zhan Tongchao Shi Juan Du Xiaosheng Tang Yuxin Leng 2021Advanced Photonics2021,3,3:5

6Damage Processes of Polypropylene Fiber Reinforced Mortar in Different Fiber Content Revealed by Acoustic Emission Behavior显示文摘The performances of the cement-based materials can be improved by the incorporation of polypropylene fiber, but the damage processes become more complex with different fiber contents at the same time. The acoustic emission(AE) technology can achieve the global monitoring of internal damage in materials. The evolution process of failure mode and damage degree of polypropylene fiber reinforced mortar and concrete were analyzed by measuring the AE energy, RA value, AF value and b value. It was found that the cement matrix cracked on the initial stage, the cracks further developed on the medium stage and the fibers were pulled out on the last stage. The matrix cracked with minor injury cracks, but the fiber broke with serious damage cracks. The cumulative AE energy was proportional to the polypropylene fiber reinforced concrete and mortar's ductility. 7Whole-process design and experimental validation of landing gear lower drag stay with global/local linked driven optimization strategy显示文摘Landing gear lower drag stay is a key component which connects fuselage and landing gear and directly effects the safety and performance of aircraft takeoff and landing. To effectively design the lower drag stay and reduce the weight of landing gear, Global/local Linked Driven Optimization Strategy(GLDOS) was developed to conduct the overall process design of lower drag stay in respect of optimization thought. The whole-process optimization involves two stages of structural conceptual design and detailed design. In the structural conceptual design, the landing gear lower drag stay was globally topologically optimized by adopting multiple starting points algorithm. In the detailed design, the local size and shape of landing gear lower drag stay were globally optimized by the gradient optimization strategy. The GLDOS method adopts different optimization strategies for different optimization stages to acquire the optimum design effect. Through the experimental validation, the weight of the optimized lower dray stay with the developed GLDOS is reduced by 16.79% while keeping enough strength and stiffness, which satisfies the requirements of engineering design under the typical loading conditions. The proposed GLDOS is validated to be accurate and efficient in optimization scheme and design cycles. 8Mode selection and high-quality upconversion lasing from perovskite CsPb2Br5 microplates显示文摘In recent years,halide perovskite nanostructures have had great advances and have opened up a bright future for micro/nanolasers.However,upconversion lasing by two-photon excitation with mode selection and high quality factor in one device is still rarely reported.Herein,two lasing modes are demonstrated in the all-inorganic perovskite CsPb2Br5 microplates with subwavelength thickness and uniform square shape.The net optical gain is quickly established in less than 1 ps and persists more than 30 ps,revealed by ultrafast transient absorption spectroscopy.The temperature-dependent low-threshold amplified spontaneous emission confirms the net gain for stimulated emission with a high characteristic temperature of 403 K,far surpassing the all-inorganic CsPbBr3 semiconductor gain media.Remarkably,upconversion lasing based on two kinds of microcavity effects,Fabry–Pérot and whispering-gallery modes,from the microplates at room temperature is successfully achieved with a low threshold operating in multi-or single-mode,respectively.Surprisingly,the quality factor(~3551)is among the best values obtained from perovskite micro/nanoplate upconversion lasers without an external cavity.Moreover,the highly stable chromaticity with color drift only less than 0.1 nm also outbalances the all-inorganic CsPbBr3 ones.These superior performances of CsPb2Br5 microplate lasing with a facile solution synthesis procedure will offer a feasible structure to fabricate specific functionalities for high-performance frequency upconversion micro/nanoscale photonic integrated devices.ZHENGZHENG LIU CHUNWEI WANG ZHIPING HU JUAN DU JIE YANG ZEYU ZHANG TONGCHAO SHI WEIMIN LIU XIAOSHENG TANG AND YUXIN LENG 2020Photonics Research2020,8,9:2
9Effects of linker amino acids on the potency and selectivity of dimeric antimicrobial peptides显示文摘Dimerization is an effective strategy for designing antimicrobial peptides that combine the advantages of different native peptides. In this study, we explored the effects of different linker amino acids, including leucine, proline and aminocaproic acid, on the anticancer, antimicrobial and hemolytic activities of the heteromeric antimicrobial peptides AM-1, AM-2, and AM-3. Proline and aminocaproic acid are ideal linkers for increasing the potency and selectivity of heteromeric antimicrobial peptides. The results of MD simulations provided a rationalization for this observation. Both AM-2, which had a proline linker,and AM-3, which had an aminocaproic acid linker, adopted a compact conformation in water and a bent conformation in membranes. This change in the flexible structures of AM-2 and AM-3 could have resulted in decreased binding of these peptides to zwitterionic lipid bilayers and increased damage to mixed lipid bilayers containing acidic phospholipids. 12The BZR1-EDS1 module regulates plant growth-defense coordination显示文摘Plants have developed sophisticated strategies to coordinate growth and immunity,but our understanding of the underlying mechanism remains limited.In this study,we identified a novel molecular module that reg-ulates plant growth and defense in both compatible and incompatible infections.This module consisted of BZR1,a key transcription factor in brassinosteroid(BR)signaling,and EDS1,an essential positive regulator of plant innate immunity.We found that EDS1 interacts with BZR1 and suppresses its transcriptional activ-ities.Consistently,upregulation of EDS1 function by a virulent Pseudomonas syringae strain or salicylic acid treatment inhibited BZR1-regulated expression of BR-responsive genes and BR-promoted growth.Furthermore,we showed that the cytoplasmic fraction of BZR1 positively regulates effector-triggered im-munity(ETI)controlled by the TIR-NB-LRR protein RPS4,which is attenuated by BZR1's nuclear transloca-tion.Mechanistically,cytoplasmic BZR1 facilitated AvrRps4-triggered dissociation of EDS1 and RPS4 by binding to EDS1,thus leading to efficient activation of RPS4-controlled ETI.Notably,transgenic expression of a mutant BZR1 that accumulates exclusively in the cytoplasm improved pathogen resistance without compromising plant growth.Collectively,these results shed new light on plant growth-defense coordina-tion and reveal a previously unknown function for the cytoplasmic fraction of BZR1.The BZR1-EDS1 mod-ule may be harnessed for the simultaneous improvement of crop productivity and pathogen resistance.Guang Qi Huan Chen Dian Wang Hongyuan Zheng Xianfeng Tang Zhengzheng Guo Jiayu Cheng Jian Chen Yiping Wang Ming-yi Bai Fengquan Liu Daowen Wang Zheng Qing Fu 2021Molecular Plant2021,14,12:1

15Effects of Yangyin Jiedu Decoction on Acute Oral Mucositis Caused by Radiation显示文摘[Objectives] The aim was to observe the clinical effect of Yangyin Jiedu Decoction for acute oral mucositis caused by radiotherapy for nasopharyngeal carcinoma( NPC). [Methods]Total 64 patients with non-keratinizing squamous cell carcinoma of nasopharynx were divided evenly and randomly into two groups,treatment group and control group. In the treatment group,the patients began to take Yangyin Jiedu Decoction one week before radiotherapy; while in the control group,the patients were treated with mixed solution of dexamethasone,lidocaine,recombinant human granulocyte colony stimulating factor and vitamin B12. From the beginning to the end of radiotherapy,the curative effect in the two groups was observed and compared. In addition,the levels of serum CRP,TGF-β1 and IL-6 were measured to detect the inflammatory response. [Results] The incidence of acute oral mucositis in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group( P <0. 05). The effective rate was 96. 88% in the treatment group and 67. 74% in the control group. The levels of serum CRP,TGF-β1 and IL-6 in the treatment group were also lower than those in the control group. 17Rhizobacteria helps to explain the enhanced efficiency of phytoextraction strengthened by Streptomyces pactum显示文摘The ultimate purpose of phytoextraction is not only to remove heavy metals from soil but also to improve soil quality.Here, we evaluated how the joint effect of Streptomyces pactum(strain Act12) and inorganic(Hoagland’s solution) and organic(humic acid and peat) nutrients affected the phytoextraction practice of cadmium(Cd) and zinc(Zn) by potherb mustard, and the microbial community composition within rhizosphere was also investigated.The results indicated that the nutrients exerted synergistically with Act12, all increasing the plant biomass and Cd/Zn uptakes.The inoculation of Act12 alone significantly increased dehydrogenase activity of rhizosphere soil(P<0.05), while urease and alkaline phosphatase activities varied in different dosage of Act12.Combined application of microbial strain with nutrients increased enzymatic activities with the elevated dosage of Act12.16S ribosomal RNA high-throughput sequencing analysis revealed that Act12 inoculation reduced the diversity of rhizosphere bacteria.The Act12 and nutrients did not change dominant phyla i.e.,Proteobacteria, Bacteroidetes, Gemmatimonadetes, Actinobacteria and Acidobacteria, but their relative abundance differed among the treatments with: Peat>Act12>Humic acid >Hoagland’s solution.Comparatively, Sphingomonas replaced Thiobacillus as dominant genus after Act12 application.The increase in the Sphingomonas and Flavisolibacter abundances under Act12 and nutrients treatments gave rise to growth-promoting effect on plant.Our results revealed the important role for rhizosphere microbiota in mediating soil biochemical traits and plant growth, and our approach charted a path toward the development of Act12 combined with soil nutrients to enhance soil quality and phytoextraction efficiency in Cd/Zn-contaminated soils.Linlin Wang NinaWang Di Guo Zhengzheng Shang Yiying Zhang Song Liu Yuheng Wang 2023Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,3:0
18Tuning Structures and Microenvironments of Cu-Based Catalysts for Sustainable CO_(2) and CO Electroreduction显示文摘CONSPECTUS:The carbon balance has been disrupted by the widespread use of fossil fuels and subsequent excessive emissions of carbon dioxide(CO_(2)),which has become an increasingly critical environmental challenge for human society.The production and use of renewable energy sources and/or chemicals have been proposed as important strategies to reduce emissions,of which the electrochemical CO_(2)(or CO)reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR/CORR)in the aqueous systems represents a promising approach.Benefitted by the capacity of manufacturing high-value-added products(e.g.,ethylene,ethanol,formic acid,etc.)with a net-zero carbon emission,copper-based CO_(2)RR/CORR powered by sustainable electricity is regarded as a potential candidate for carbon neutrality.However,the diversity of selectivities in copper-based systems poses a great challenge to the research in this field and sets a great obstacle for future industrialization.To date,scientists have revealed that the electrocatalyst design and preparation play a significant role in achieving efficient and selective CO_(2)-to-chemical(or CO-to-chemical)conversion.Although substantial efforts have been dedicated to the catalyst preparation and corresponding electrosynthesis of sustainable chemicals from CO_(2)/CO so far,most of them are still derived from empirical or random searches,which are relatively inefficient and cost-intensive.Most of the mechanism studies have suggested that both intrinsic properties(such as electron states)and extrinsic environmental factors(such as surface energy)of a catalyst can significantly alter catalytic performance.Thus,these two topics are mainly discussed for copper-based catalyst developments in this Account.Here,we provided a concise and comprehensive introduction to the well-established strategies employed for the design of copperbased electrocatalysts for CO_(2)RR/CORR.We used several examples from our research group,as well as representative studies of other research groups in this field during the recent five years,with the perspectives of tuning local electron states,regulating alloy phases,modifying interfacial coverages,and adjusting other interfacial microenvironments(e.g.,molecule modification or surface energy).Finally,we employed the techno-economic assessment with a viewpoint on the future application of CO_(2)/CO electroreduction in manufacturing sustainable chemicals.Our study indicates that when carbon price is taken into account,the electrocatalytic CO_(2)-to-chemical conversion can be more market-competitive,and several potential value-added products including formate,methanol,ethylene,and ethanol can all make profits under optimal operating conditions.Moreover,a downstream module employing traditional chemical industrial processes(e.g.,thermal polymerization,catalytic hydrolysis,or condensation process)will also make the whole electrolysis system profitable in the future.These design principles,combined with the recent advances in the development of efficient copper-based electrocatalysts,may provide a low-cost and long-lasting catalytic system for a profitable industrial-scale CO_(2)RR in the future.Ximeng Lv Zhengzheng Liu Chao Yang Yali Ji Gengfeng Zheng 2023Accounts of Materials Research2023,4,3:0

20Hyaluronic acid injection in the auricular base for the aesthetic correction of lying ears:A retrospective study显示文摘Background Ears play an important role in facial profiles.Lying ears are not perceived favorably in Asian cultures;therefore,surgical procedures are implemented to adjust this defect.However,surgery has complications and requires recovery time.We introduced a hyaluronic acid(HA)injection technique to aesthetically improve ear prominence.Methods This retrospective study examined 25 Chinese patients aged 20-47 years with congenital lying ears who received HA injections in the auricular base at Shanghai Ninth People’s Hospital and Hangzhou Yijie Medical Cosmetology Clinic between November 2019 and December 2022.The average injection volume was 6.32​±​1.22 mL in the auricular base unilaterally,and the follow-up time ranged from 6 to 24 months.Morphological measurement data were recorded.Two-dimensional(2D)and three-dimensional(3D)images were obtained to evaluate the effects.Results All patients showed improvements in ear prominence.The cranioauricular angle(CAA)increased from 22.24°​±​4.53°to 65.90°​±​5.38°immediately post-injection and was maintained at 49.18°​±​4.74°6 months later.The ear projection(EP)increased from 14.75​±​2.72 mm to 26.26​±​2.94 mm immediately post-injection and was 22.51​±​2.68 mm after 6 months.No serious complications were noted.Conclusion HA injection in the auricular base effectively corrected the lying ears and aesthetically optimized the facial profile.It also had a face-lift effect that made the face look younger and more compact.The injection procedure was minimally invasive and required no recovery period.The effect was maintained for a long time and was satisfactory.Zhezhen Xiong Zhengzheng Jiang Yaping Bai Minxue Liang Weitai Jiang Kai Liu 2023Chinese Journal Of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery2023,5,1:0
