| 2 | EFFECTS OF WALL ROUGHNESS ON COHERENT STRUCTURE IN TURBULENT SHEAR FLOWS显示文摘There are many examples that fluid flows on rough wall, such as channel flowin nature, pipe flow, etc. In order to know the flow structure of real fluids,it is important to study the effects of wall roughness on coherent structure inturbulent shear flows. The experiments were carried out in a square glass channel, which is 600cmlong, with the cross section of 30×25cm^2. The flow velocity was varied from 2to 40 cm/s. Uniform sands whose diameters were 0.0012cm, 0.2gcm, 0.385cm, 0.594cmand 0.896cm respectively were glued to the floor of the channel. The rough Reynoldsnumber Re_Δ= U_*Δ/ν=0.04~73, where U_*is the shear velocity, Δ is the diame-ter of uniform sand, v is the kinematic viscosity coefficient. | 4 | Air-stable diradical dications with ferromagnetic interaction exceeding the thermal energy at room temperature: from a monomer to a dimer显示文摘Two tetraazacyclophane dications(1^(2+) and 2^(2+)) with different remote substituents have been synthesized, isolated and characterized.Their electronic structures and physical property were studied by various spectroscopic techniques, single crystal X-ray diffraction,super conducting quantum interference device(SQUID) measurements and theoretical calculations. The dications have triplet ground states with ferromagnetic interaction exceeding the thermal energy at room temperature. Their geometries and electronic structures were investigated by various experiments in conjunction with DFT calculations. Both one-dimensional alkylate-bridged dications show considerable diradical character with spacer-dependent singlet-triplet energy gaps. | 7 | Antibiotic-induced gut bacteria depletion has no effect on HBV replication in HBV immune tolerance mouse model显示文摘Commensal microbiota is closely related to Hepatitis B virus(HBV)infection.Gut bacteria maturation accelerates HBV immune clearance in hydrodynamic injection(HDI)HBV mouse model.However,the effect of gut bacteria on HBV replication in recombinant adeno-associated virus(AAV)-HBV mouse model with immune tolerance remains obscure.We aim to investigate its role on HBV replication in AAV-HBV mouse model.C57BL/6 mice were administrated with broad-spectrum antibiotic mixtures(ABX)to deplete gut bacteria and intravenously injected with AAV-HBV to establish persistent HBV replication.Gut microbiota community was analyzed by fecal qPCR assay and 16S ribosomal RNA(rRNA)gene sequencing.HBV replication markers in blood and liver were determined by ELISA,qPCR assay and Western blot at indicated time points.Immune response in AAV-HBV mouse model was activated through HDI of HBV plasmid or poly(I:C)and then detected by quantifying the percentage of IFN-γ^(+)/CD8^(+)T cells in the spleen via flow cytometry as well as the splenic IFN-γmRNA level via qPCR assay.We found that antibiotic exposure remarkably decreased gut bacteria abundance and diversity.Antibiotic treatment failed to alter the levels of serological HBV antigens,intrahepatic HBV RNA transcripts and HBc protein in AAV-HBV mouse model,but contributed to HBsAg increase after breaking of immune tolerance.Overall,our data uncovered that antibiotic-induced gut bacteria depletion has no effect on HBV replication in immune tolerant AAV-HBV mouse model,providing new thoughts for elucidating the correlation between gut bacteria dysbiosis by antibiotic abuse and clinical chronic HBV infection. | Yanan Bu Kaitao Zhao Zaichao Xu Yingcheng Zheng Rong Hua Chuanjian Wu Chengliang Zhu Yuchen Xia Xiaoming Cheng | 2023 | Virologica Sinica2023，38，3： | 0 |

| 10 | Putting aniline radical cations in a bottle显示文摘Salts containing aniline radical cations have been isolated and characterized by electron paramagnetic resonance(EPR)spectroscopy, UV-Vis absorption spectroscopy and single crystal X-ray diffraction. The EPR spectra and theoretical calculations indicate the unpaired electron is delocalized on phenyl rings and nitrogen atoms. Both radical cations feature a quinoidal geometry with a partially double C–N bond, but are distinct in that the C–N bond is coplanar to the phenyl plane in one cation while deviates from the plane in the other due to steric crowding.
