Catalytic decarboxylation of fatty acid by iron-containing minerals in immature oil source rocks at low temperature显示文摘The catalytic activities of seven immature source rocks in China on fatty acid decar-boxylation for generating hydrocarbons have been evaluated by determinating the CO2 content from decarboxylation reaction of stearic acid. It has been found that the catalytic activities of immature source rocks mainly depend on the structure type of the minerals. | 3 | Curing Mechanism of Condensed Polynuclear Aromatic Resin and Thermal Stability of Cured Resin显示文摘In order to improve the thermal stability of condensed polynuclear aromatic(COPNA) resin synthesized from vacuum residue, 1,4-benzenedimethanol was added to cure COPNA resin. The curing mechanism was investigated by proton nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometry, solid carbon-13 nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometry and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. Microstructures of the uncured and the cured COPNA resins were studied by scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffractometry. The thermal stability of COPNA resins before and after curing was tested by thermogravimetric analysis. The element composition of the cured COPNA resin heated at different temperatures was analyzed by an element analyzer. The results showed that the uncured COPNA resin reacted with the cross-linking agent during the curing process, and the curing mechanism was confirmed to be the electrophilic substitution reaction. Compared with the uncured COPNA resin, the cured COPNA resin had a smooth surface, well-ordered and streamlined sheet structure with more crystalline solids, better molecular arrangement and orientation. The weight loss process of the uncured and cured COPNA resins was divided into three stages. Carbon residue of the cured COPNA resin was 41.65% at 600 ℃, which was much higher than 25.02% of the uncured COPNA resin, which indicated that the cured COPNA resin had higher thermal stability. | Li Shibin Sun Qiqian Wang Yuwei Wu Mingbo Zhang Zailong | 2015 | China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2015,17,2: | 1
HPDL deficiency causes a neuromuscular disease by impairing the mitochondrial respiration显示文摘Mitochondrial diseases are caused by variants in both mitochondrial and nuclear genomes.A nuclear gene HPDL(4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase-like),which encodes an intermembrane mitochondrial protein, has been recently implicated in causing a neurodegenerative disease characterized by pediatric-onset spastic movement phenotypes. Here,we report six Chinese patients with bi-allelic HPDL pathogenic variants from four unrelated families showing neuropathic symptoms of variable severity, including developmental delay/intellectual disability, spasm, and hypertonia.Seven different pathogenic variants are identified,of which five are novel. Both fibroblasts and immortalized lymphocytes derived from patients show impaired mitochondrial respiratory function, which is also observed in HPDL-knockdown(KD)He La cells. In these He La cells, overexpression of a wild-type HPDL gene can rescue the respiratory phenotype of oxygen consumption rate.In addition,a decreased activity of the oxidative phosphorylation(OXPHOS)complex II is observed in patient-derived lymphocytes and HPDL-KD He La cells, further supporting an essential role of HPDL in the mitochondrial respiratory chain.Collectively, our data expand the clinical and mutational spectra of this mitochondrial neuropathy and further delineate the possible disease mechanism involving the impairment of the OXPHOS complex II activity due to the bi-allelic inactivations of HPDL. | Yu Sun Xiujuan Wei Fang Fang Yiping Shen Haiyan Wei Jiuwei Li Xianglai Ye Yongkun Zhan Xiantao Ye Xiaomin Liu Wei Yang Yuhua Li Xiangju Geng Xuelin Huang Yiyan Ruan Zailong Qin Shang Yi Jianxin Lyu Hezhi Fang Yongguo Yu | 2021 | Journal of Genetics and Genomics2021,48,8: | 1
Numerical simulation of CO_2-ionic liquid flow in a stirred tank显示文摘Ionic liquids(ILs) are new solvents that represent a breakthrough for absorption and conversion of CO2. However, there has been little research on the hydrodynamics of gas-IL systems in stirred tanks, and this has become a bottleneck for development of IL-based reactors. In the present study, a CO2-IL([bmim][BF4]) flow in a stirred tank was studied using computational fluid dynamics(CFD). A new drag coefficient model that is specific to a gas-ionic liquid system and a population balance model(PBM) were adopted to describe the bubble behavior, such as gas holdup and bubble size evolution, precisely. The predicted results for the total gas holdup and local Sauter diameter agree well with the experimental data. The influences of the gassing rate, agitation speed, and temperature on local gas holdup, bubble size distribution, and interfacial area for the CO2-[bmim][BF4] system were also investigated. The results of this study provide fundamental information for designing gas-IL systems for stirred tanks. | Zailong Ouyang Di Bao Xin Zhang Haifeng Dong Ruiyi Yan Xiangping Zhang Suojiang Zhang | 2015 | Science China(Information Sciences)2015,58,12: | 1

GhWDL3 is involved in the formation and development of fiber cell morphology in upland cotton(Gossypium hirsutum L.)显示文摘Background Cotton fiber is a model tissue for studying microtubule-associated proteins(MAPs).The Xklp2(TPX2)proteins that belong to the novel MAPs member mainly participate in the formation and development of microtubule(MT).However, there is a lack of studies concerning the systematic characterization of the TPX2 genes family in cotton. Therefore, the identification and portrayal of G.hirsutum TPX2 genes can provide key targets for molecular manipula-tion in the breeding of cotton fiber improvement.Result In this study,TPX2 family genes were classified into two distinct subclasses TPXLs and MAP genes WAVE DAMP-ENED2-LIKE(WDLs)and quite conservative in quantity.GhWDL3 was significantly up-regulated in 15 days post anthe-sis fibers of ZRI-015(an upland cotton with longer and stronger fiber).GhWDL3 promotes all stem hairs to become straight when overexpressed in Arabidopsis, which may indirectly regulate cotton fiber cell morphology during fiber development.Virus induced gene silencing(VIGS)results showed that GhWDL3 inhibited fiber cell elongation at fiber development periods through regulating the expression of cell wall related genes. Conclusion These results reveal that GhWDL3 regulated cotton fiber cell elongation and provide crucial information for the further investigation in the regulatory mechanisms/networks of cotton fiber length. | CHEN Baojun TIAN Zailong FU Guoyong ZHANG Ai SUN Yaru WANG Jingjing PAN Zhaoe LI Hongge HU Daowu XIA Yingying HE Shoupu DU Xiongming | 2024 | Journal of Cotton Research2024,7,1: | 0
Provider Backbone Transport Technology显示文摘The Metro Ethernet Forum(MEF) put forward the concept of Carrier Ethernet(CE) to improve Ethernet technology and make it a transmission convergence layer solution for Next Generation Network(NGN).Provider Backbone Transport(PBT) is the result of the enhancement and improvement of the early Ethernet technologies and it is the new version of CE implementation technology and standard which is promising.Through studying the PBT-related technologies,PBT network structure,PBT advantages as the transmission convergence layer solution and its trend of future development,it is concluded that PBT can be used as the preferred technology of the transmission convergence layer in the NGN,though there are some problems to be solved for PBT. | Zhang Zailong 1,Fang Jun 2,Yu Jinghai 2(1.Institute of Information and Network Technologies,Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications,Nanjing 210003,P.R.China 2.ZTE Corporation,Shenzhen 518057,P.R.China) | 2009 | ZTE Communications2009,7,1: | 0
Adenovirus-mediated PTEN gene transfection suppresses growth and promotes chemosensitivity of endometrial carcinoma显示文摘Objective:To determine the potential of sustained transgene expression by intratumoral injection of Ad-PTEN in the nude mouse model of endometrial carcinoma. Methods and Results:We constructed recombinant adenovirus carrying the wild-type PTEN gene(Ad-PTEN).RL95-2 cells,an endometrial carcinoma cell line lacking PTEN function, was infected with Ad-PTEN and showed increased expression of PTEN and chemosensitivity to doxorubicin, decreased proliferation rate, and elevated apoptosis and G0/G1 arrest.Furthermore, the tumorigenicity of these cells was also completely suppressed. These results indicated that gene therapy with Ad-PTEN could significantly inhibit the endometrial carcinoma xenografts growth in nude mice by intratumoral injection, induce apoptosis of tumor cells, and reduce expression of proliferating cell nuclear antigen(PCNA).Immunohistochemistry analysis also showed that the expression of progesterone receptors(PR) in Ad-PTEN treated tumor cells were induced, while P-glycoproteins(P-gp) and estrogen receptors(ER) decreased significantly. Conclusion:PTEN may play an important role in the development of endometrial carcinoma. Our findings cast new lights for treatment of endometrial carcinoma. | Liu Yuhuan Wang Jiaqi Yang Peili Hu Jingjing Chen Chao Ji Mei Hui Ning Yu Chaoqin Cai Zailong | 2010 | Journal of Medical Colleges of PLA(China)2010,25,4: | 0
The function and mechanism of lactate and lactylation in tumor metabolism and microenvironment显示文摘Lactate is an end product of glycolysis.Owing to the lactate shuttle concept introduced in the early 1980s,increasing researchers indicate lactate as a critical energy source for mitochondrial respiration and as a precursor of gluconeogenesis.Lactate also acts as a multifunctional signaling molecule through receptors expressed in various cells, resulting in diverse biological consequences including decreased lipolysis, immune regulation, and anti-inflammation wound healing, and enhanced exercise performance in association with the gut microbiome.Furthermore, increasing evidence reveals that lactate contributes to epigenetic gene regulation by lactylating lysine residues of histones, which accounts for its key role in immune modulation and maintenance of homeostasis. Here,we summarize the function and mechanism of lactate and lactylation in tumor metabolism and microenvironment. | Yan Zhang Qiu Peng Jinhua Zheng Yuzhong Yang Xuemei Zhang Aiyu Ma Yuxia Qin Zailong Qin Xiang Zheng | 2023 | Genes & Diseases2023,10,5: | 0
