1From surface to bulk modification: Plasma polymerization of amine-bearing coating by synergic strategy of biomolecule grafting and nitric oxide loading显示文摘Integration of two or more biomolecules with synergetic and complementary effects on a material surface can help to obtain multi-functions for various biomedical applications.However,the amounts of biomolecules integrated and their physiological functions are compromised due to the limited surface anchoring sites.Herein,we propose a novel concept of film engineering strategy“from surface to bulk synergetic modification”.This new concept is realized by employing the surface amine groups of plasma polymerized allylamine(PPAm)film for grafting a molecule e.g.,thrombin inhibitor,bivalirudin(BVLD),meanwhile its bulk amine groups is used as a universal depot for storing and releasing therapeutic nitric oxide(NO)gas as supplement to the functions of BVLD.It is demonstrated that such a“from surface to bulk synergetic modification”film engineering can impart the modified-substrates with anti-platelet and anti-coagulant dual functions,giving rise to a highly endotheliummimetic thromboresistant property.We believe that our research provides a very promising strategy to deliver multifunctional surface versatilely that require NO release in combination with other properties,which will find broad biomedical applications in blood-contacting devices,and et al.Moreover,it also provides a brand-new film engineering strategy for tailoring surface multi-functionalities of a wide range of materials.Tong Yang Zeyu Du Hua Qiu Peng Gao Xin Zhao Huaiyu Wang Qiufen Tu Kaiqin Xiong Nan Huang Zhilu Yang 2020Bioactive Materials2020,5,1:10
2Hierarchical porous cellulose/lanthanide hybrid materials as luminescent sensor显示文摘Photoluminescent hybrid materials containing carboxymethyl cellulose and lanthanide ions(Eu3+, Tb3+)were prepared by a facile method under ambient conditions. Lanthanide ions were covalently grafted to the cellulose framework through coordination with the carboxylic groups of the cellulose. Hybrid materials were fabricated as hydrogel and aerogel. As shown by SEM and pore parameters, aerogel materials which were obtained by supercritical CO_2 drying show hierarchical porous structure. The photoluminescence spectrum of the hybrid materials shows the characteristic red emission of Eu3+ ion and green emission of Tb^(3+). 3NON-EQUILIBRIUM STATIONARY STATE IN CHEMICAL REACTION OF SiO_2/Fe AT INTERFACE OF SLAG/METAL AND ITS STABILITY DURING ARC WELDING显示文摘For characteristics of open and far from thermodynamic equilibrium in welding chemical reaction, a new kind of quantitative method, which is used to analyze direction and extent for chemi- cal reaction of SiO_2/Fe during quasi-steady state period, is introduced with the concept of non-equilibrium stationary state. The main idea is based on thermodynamic driving forces, which result in non-zero thermodynamic fluxes and lead to chemical reaction far away from thermodynamic equilibrium. There exists certain dynamic equilibrium relationship between rates of diffusion fluxes in liquid phase of reactants or products and the rate equation of chemical reaction when welding is in quasi-steady state. As result of this, a group of non-linear equations containing concentrations of all substances at interface of slag/liquid-metal may be established. 4Analysis on internal mechanism of zedoary turmeric in treatment of liver cancer based on pharmacodynamic substances and pharmacodynamic groups显示文摘Zedoary tumeric(Curcumae Rhizoma,Ezhu in Chinese)has a long history of application and has great potential in the treatment of liver cancer.The antiliver cancer effect of zedoary tumeric depends on the combined action of multiple pharmacodynamic substances.In order to clarify the specific mechanism of zedoary tumeric against liver cancer,this paper first analyzes the mechanism of its single pharmacodynamic substance against liver cancer,and then verifies the joint anti liver cancer mechanism of its“pharmacodynamic group”.By searching the research on the antihepatoma effect of active components of zedoary tumeric in recent years,we found that pharmacodynamic substances,including curcumol,zedoarondiol,curcumenol,curzerenone,curdione,curcumin,germacrone,β-elemene,can act on multi-target and multi-channel to play an antihepatoma role.For example,curcumin can regulate miR,GLO1,CD133,VEGF,YAP,LIN28B,GPR81,HCAR-1,P53 and PI3K/Akt/mTOR,HSP70/TLR4 and NF-κB.Wnt/TGF/EMT,Nrf2/Keap1,JAK/STAT and other pathways play an antihepatoma role.Network pharmacological analysis showed that the core targets of the“pharmacodynamic group”for anti-life cancer are AKT1,EGFR,MAPK8,etc,and the core pathways are neuroactive live receiver interaction,nitrogen metabolism,HIF-1 signaling pathway,etc.At the same time,by comparing and analyzing the relationship between the specific mechanisms of pharmacodynamic substance and“pharmacodynamic group”,it is found that they have great reference significance in target,pathway,biological function,determination of core pharmacodynamic components,formation of core target protein interaction,in-depth research of single pharmacodynamic substance,increasing curative effect and so on.By analyzing the internal mechanism of zedoary tumeric pharmacodynamic substance and“pharmacodynamic group”in the treatment of liver cancer,this paper intends to provide some ideas and references for the deeper pharmacological research of zedoary tumeric and the relationship between pharmacodynamic substance and“pharmacodynamic group”.Zeyu Li Erwei Hao Rui Cao Si Lin Linghui Zou Tianyan Huang Zhengcai Du Xiaotao Hou Jiagang Deng 2022Chinese Herbal Medicines2022,14,4:2

6Altitude pattern of carbon stocks in desert grasslands of an arid land region显示文摘For estimating the altitude-distribution pattern of carbon stocks in desert grasslands and analyzing the possible mechanism for this distribution, a detailed study was performed through a series of field vegetation surveys and soil samplings from 90 vegetation plots and 45 soil profiles at 9 sites of the Hexi Corridor region, Northwestern China. Aboveground, belowground, and litter-fall biomass-carbon stocks ranged from 43 to 109, 23 to 64, and 5 to 20 g/m2, with mean values of 80.82,44.91, and 12.15 g/m2, respectively. Soil-carbon stocks varied between 2.88 and 3.98 kg/m2, with a mean value of 3.43 kg/m2 in the 0–100-cm soil layer. Both biomass-and soil-carbon stocks had an increasing tendency corresponding to the altitudinal gradient. A significantly negative correlation was found between soil-carbon stock and mean annual temperature, with further better correlations between soil-and biomass-carbon stocks, and mean annual precipitation. Furthermore, soil carbon was found to be positively correlated with soil-silt and-clay content, and negatively correlated with soil bulk density and the volume percent of gravel. It can be concluded that variations in soil texture and climate condition were the key factors influencing the altitudinal pattern of carbon stocks in this desert-grassland ecosystem. 7Mode selection and high-quality upconversion lasing from perovskite CsPb2Br5 microplates显示文摘In recent years,halide perovskite nanostructures have had great advances and have opened up a bright future for micro/nanolasers.However,upconversion lasing by two-photon excitation with mode selection and high quality factor in one device is still rarely reported.Herein,two lasing modes are demonstrated in the all-inorganic perovskite CsPb2Br5 microplates with subwavelength thickness and uniform square shape.The net optical gain is quickly established in less than 1 ps and persists more than 30 ps,revealed by ultrafast transient absorption spectroscopy.The temperature-dependent low-threshold amplified spontaneous emission confirms the net gain for stimulated emission with a high characteristic temperature of 403 K,far surpassing the all-inorganic CsPbBr3 semiconductor gain media.Remarkably,upconversion lasing based on two kinds of microcavity effects,Fabry–Pérot and whispering-gallery modes,from the microplates at room temperature is successfully achieved with a low threshold operating in multi-or single-mode,respectively.Surprisingly,the quality factor(~3551)is among the best values obtained from perovskite micro/nanoplate upconversion lasers without an external cavity.Moreover,the highly stable chromaticity with color drift only less than 0.1 nm also outbalances the all-inorganic CsPbBr3 ones.These superior performances of CsPb2Br5 microplate lasing with a facile solution synthesis procedure will offer a feasible structure to fabricate specific functionalities for high-performance frequency upconversion micro/nanoscale photonic integrated devices.ZHENGZHENG LIU CHUNWEI WANG ZHIPING HU JUAN DU JIE YANG ZEYU ZHANG TONGCHAO SHI WEIMIN LIU XIAOSHENG TANG AND YUXIN LENG 2020Photonics Research2020,8,9:2
8The Corylus mandshurica genome provides insights into the evolution of Betulaceae genomes and hazelnut breeding显示文摘Hazelnut is popular for its flavor,and it has also been suggested that hazelnut is beneficial to cardiovascular health because it is rich in oleic acid.Here,we report the first high-quality chromosome-scale genome for the hazelnut species Corylus mandshurica(2n=22),which has a high concentration of oleic acid in its nuts.The assembled genome is 367.67Mb in length,and the contig N50 is 14.85 Mb.All contigs were assembled into 11 chromosomes,and 28,409 protein-coding genes were annotated.We reconstructed the evolutionary trajectories of the genomes of Betulaceae species and revealed that the 11 chromosomes of the hazelnut genus were derived from the most ancestral karyotype in Betula pendula,which has 14 protochromosomes,by inferring homology among five Betulaceae genomes.We identified 96 candidate genes involved in oleic acid biosynthesis,and 10 showed rapid evolution or positive selection.These findings will help us to understand the mechanisms of lipid synthesis and storage in hazelnuts.Several gene families related to salicylic acid metabolism and stress responses experienced rapid expansion in this hazelnut species,which may have increased its stress tolerance.The reference genome presented here constitutes a valuable resource for molecular breeding and genetic improvement of the important agronomic properties of hazelnut.Ying Li Pengchuan Sun Zhiqiang Lu Jinyuan Chen Zhenyue Wang Xin Du Zeyu Zheng Ying Wu Hongyin Hu Jiao Yang Jianxiang Ma Jianquan Liu Yongzhi Yang 2021Horticulture Research2021,8,1:1

11CD38 deficiency activates ERK1/2-NF-κB signaling pathway in sepsis-associated renal injury显示文摘CD38 is known to play roles in various inflammatory pathways.However,whether it has a protective or detrimental effect during bacterial septicemia remains disputed.Herein,this study aimed to determine the potential effect of CD38 on renal injury in septicemia.Escherichia coli(E.coli)was used to induce sepsis-associated renal injury in mice.WT and CD38-/-mice were stimulated with E.coli.After three hours,the serum was collected to detect renal function.Function mRNA expressions inflammatory cytokines in kidneys were quantified by real-time PCR.Hematoxylin and eosin staining were used to observe the histomorphology of kidney.The expression of TLR4,NF-κB,MAPK and cytokines were detected by Western Blot.Our results demonstrated that 3×10^(8) cfu/mL E.coli is the appropriate dose to induce sepsis mice model.Compared to WT sepsis mice,CD38-/-mice showed aggravated kidney injuries with impaired renal function,increased inflammation and apoptosis after E.coli stimulation.Interestingly,CD38 deficiency also led to elevated expression of TLR4 and increased phosphorylation of NF-κB p65/p105 and ERK1/2.To sum up,our results suggested that CD38 deficiency could aggravate E.coli-induced renal injury through activating ERK1/2-NF-κB signaling pathway.ZHANG Huiqing DU Yuna XIE Zhengyu WANG Zeyu LI Hua 李蓉 2022实验与检验医学2022,40,1:0

15Albumin-assembled copper-bismuth bimetallic sulfide bioactive nanosphere as an amplifier of oxidative stress for enhanced radio-chemodynamic combination therapy显示文摘The tumor microenvironment with overexpressed hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2))and reinforced antioxidative system(glutathione,GSH)becomes a double-edged sword for the accessibility of nano-therapy.Since reactive oxygen species(ROS)are easily quenched by the developed antioxidative network,ROS-based treatments such as chemodynamic therapy(CDT)and radiotherapy(RT)for killing cancer cells are severely attenuated.To overcome such limitations,a bioactive nanosphere system is developed to regulate intracellular oxidative stress for enhanced radio-chemodynamic combination therapy by using bovine serum albumin(BSA)based bioactive nanospheres that are BSA assembled with in situ generated copper-bismuth sulfide nanodots and diallyl trisulfide(DATS).The copper-bismuth sulfide nanodots react with H_(2)O_(2)to produce·OH and release Cu^(2+).Then,the Cu^(2+)further depletes GSH to generate Cu^(+)for more·OH generation in the way of Fenton-like reaction.Such a cascade reaction can initiate·OH generation and GSH consumption to realize CDT.The elevation of ROS triggered by the DATS from BBCD nanospheres further augments the breaking of redox balance for the increased oxidative stress in 4T1 cells.With the sensitization of increased oxidative stress and high Z element Bi,an enhanced radio-chemodynamic combination therapy is achieved.The current work provides an enhanced radio-chemodynamic combination treatment for the majority of solid tumors by using the co-assembled bioactive nanospheres as an amplifier of oxidative stress.Weiyong Tao Zhan Tuo Feige Wu Ketao Mu Cunjing Xu Yuxiao Shi Zeyu Sun Yifan Wang Yan Li Zhenyu Zhong Lei Zhou Jianglin Wang Jie Liu Yingying Du Shengmin Zhang 2022Regenerative Biomaterials2022,9,1:0
16The chain-shaped coordination polymers based on the bowl-like Ln_(18)_(Ni24(23.5))clusters exhibiting favorable low-field magnetocaloric effect显示文摘The design of assembling high-nuclearity transition-lanthanide(3d-4f) clusters along with excellent magnetocaloric effect(MCE) is one of the most prominent fields but is extremely challenging. Herein, two heterometallic metal coordination polymers are constructed via the “carbonatetemplate” method, formulated as {[Gd_(18)Ni_(24)(IDA)_(22)(CO_(3))_(7)(μ_(3)-OH)_(32)(μ_(2)-OH)_(3)(H_(2)O)_(5)Cl]·Cl_(8)·(H_(2)O)_(14)}nand{[Eu_(18)Ni_(23.5)(IDA)_(22)(CO_(3)_(7)(μ_(3)-OH)_(32)(H_(2)O)_(5)(IN)(CH_(3)COO)_(2)(NH_(2)CH_(2)COO)Cl]·C_(l6)·(H_(2)O)_(17)}n[abbreviated as 1-(Gd_(18)Ni_(24))nand 2-(Eu_(18)Ni_(23.5))n respectively;H_(2)IDA = iminodiacetic acid;HIN = isonicotinic acid]. Concerning the structures, compounds 1-(Gd_(18)Ni_(24))nand 2-(Eu_(18)Ni_(23.5))nboth feature the one-dimensional(1D) chain-like structure which is rarely reported in high-nuclearity metal complexes. Meanwhile, the large presences of Gd3+ ions in compound 1-(Gd18Ni24)nare conducive to the fantastic MCE, and the value of-ΔS_(m)is 35.30 J kg^(-1)K^(-1) at 3.0 K and ΔH = 7.0 T. 19Performance enhancement in organic solar cells and photodetectors enabled by donor phase optimization at the surface of hole transport layer显示文摘The domain purity,material crystallinity and distribution at the interface between the active layer and the transport layer have an important impact on the performance of organic solar cells(OSCs)and organic photodetectors(OPDs),while this focal issue has received less attention in previous studies.From this perspective,a new method to simultaneously enhance the performance of OSC and OPD is proposed,namely,using a sequential deposition method to first construct a compact stacking structure of dualdonor(D18-Cl:PTO2)eutectic in the donor layer,and then induce the ordered deposition of the acceptor(Y6).Compared with the conventional bulk heterojunction(BHJ),the active layer realized by this method not only improves the crystallinity and stacking order of the constituent material on the surface of the transport layer,but also regulates a good vertical distribution,which is conducive to improving the charge transport and extraction efficiency,reducing the leakage current,and enhancing the stability of the device.As a result,the OSC device based on the D18-Cl:PTO2/Y6 structure achieves a power conversion efficiency of up to 17.65%and good light-degradation stability,which is much better than that of BHJbased OSC(PCE of 16.37%).For the OPD,the dark current at reverse bias is reduced by more than an order of magnitude,and the maximum responsivity is improved to 0.52 A/W through the optimization of the donor phase at the interface.Moreover,the strategy does not require additional post-processing compared to the BHJ preparation,which reduces the device construction cost and process complexity,providing an effective way for developing high-performance organic optoelectronic devices.Xiaoyang Du Qian Zhang Zeyu He Hui Lin Gang Yang Zhenhua Chen Caijun Zheng Silu Tao 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,6:0
20Polaron mobility modulation by bandgap engineering in black phaseα-FAPbI_(3)显示文摘Lead halide hybrid perovskites(LHP)have emerged as one of the most promising photovoltaic materials for their remarkable solar energy conversion ability.The transportation of the photoinduced carriers in LHP could screen the defect recombination with the help of the large polaron formation.However,the physical insight of the relationship between the superior optical-electronic performance of perovskite and its polaron dynamics related to the electron-lattice strong coupling induced by the substitution engineering is still lack of investigation.Here,the bandgap modulated thin films ofα-FAPbI_(3)with different element substitution is investigated by the time resolved Terahertz spectroscopy.We find the polaron recombination dynamics could be prolonged in LHP with a relatively smaller bandgap,even though the formation of polaron will not be affected apparently.Intuitively,the large polaron mobility in(FAPb I_(3))0.95(MAPbI_(3))0.05thin film is~30%larger than that in(FAPb I_(3))0.85(MAPbBr_(3))0.15.The larger mobility in(FAPb I_(3))0.95(MAPb I_(3))0.05could be assigned to the slowing down of the carrier scattering time.Therefore,the physical origin of the higher carrier mobility in the(FAPb I_(3))0.95(MAPbI_(3))0.05should be related with the lattice distortion and enhanced electron–phonon coupling induced by the substitution.In addition,(FAPbI_(3))0.95(MAPbI_(3))0.05will lose fewer active carriers during the polaron cooling process than that in(FAPb I_(3))0.85(MAPbBr_(3)),indicating lower thermal dissipation in(FAPbI_(3))0.95(MAPbI_(3))0.05.Our results suggest that besides the smaller bandgap,the higher polaron mobility improved by the substitution engineering inα-FAPbI_(3)can also be an important factor for the high PCE of the black phaseα-FAPbI_(3)based solar cell devices.Chunwei Wang Zeyu Zhang Zhuang Xiong Xingyu Yue Bo Zhang Tingyuan jia Zhengzheng Liu Juan Du Yuxin Leng Kuan Sun Ruxin Li 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,1:0
