1Catalytic combustion of VOCs on Pt/CuMnCe and Pt/CeY honeycomb monolithic catalysts显示文摘The metal oxides CuMnCe and CeY washcoats on cordierite were prepared using an impregnation method, and then used as support for the active Pt component to prepare the Pt/CuMnCe and Pt/CeY monolithic catalysts for the deep oxidation of VOCs. In comparison with the Pt/CeY, CuMnCe, and CeY monolithic catalysts, the Pt/CuMnCe monolithic catalyst shows an excellent performance for toluene,ethyl acetate,and n-hexane oxidation and the T_(90%) is low to 216, 200 and 260 ℃,respectively. 2A thorough analysis of diabetes research in China from 1995 to 2015: current scenario and future scope显示文摘The prevalence of diabetes has increased dramatically over the past three decades, and currently, China has the largest number of diabetics worldwide; this number continues to grow and puts ongoing strains on the medical resources. In this review, we reviewed the diabetes research conducted in China from 1995 to 2015 with the aim of providing new insights regarding the current status and future perspectives for researchers, diabetes health providers, and respective policy-makers. Remarkable progress has been made in diabetes research in China during the past two decades in terms of both the quantity and publication influence. The progress, however, struggles to adequately manage diabetes in China. Here we addressed opportunities to strengthen researches, including new drug development, high quality studies on health economics, and healthcare quality improvement studies. 3Cholesterol transport through the peroxisome-ER membrane contacts tethered by PI(4,5)P2 and extended synaptotagmins显示文摘Most mammalian cells take up cholesterol from low-density lipoproteins(LDLs) via receptor-mediated endocytosis.After reaching lysosomes,LDL-derived cholesterol continues to transport to downstream organelles including the ER for specific structural and functional needs.Peroxisomes are recently found to receive cholesterol from lysosomes through lysosomeperoxisome membrane contacts.However,whether and how cholesterol is conveyed from peroxisomes to the ER remain unknown.Here,by combining high-resolution microscopic analyses and in vitro reconstitution of highly purified organelles or artificial liposomes,we demonstrate that peroxisomes form membrane contacts with the ER through the interaction between peroxisomal PI(4,5)P2 and ER-resident extended synaptotagmin-1,2 and 3(E-Syts).Depletion of peroxisomal PI(4,5)P2 or ESyts markedly decreases peroxisome-ER membrane contacts and induces cholesterol accumulation in lysosomes.Furthermore,we show that cholesterol is delivered from 3H-labeled peroxisomes or PI(4,5)P2-containing liposomes to the ER in vitro,and that the presence of peroxisomes augments cholesterol transfer from lysosomes to the ER.Together,our study reveals a new cholesterol transport pathway along the lysosome-peroxisome-ER membrane contacts in the cell.Jian Xiao Jie Luo Ao Hu Ting Xiao Meixin Li Zekai Kong Luyi Jiang Zimu Zhou Yacheng Liao Chang Xie Beibei Chu Honghua Miao Boliang Li Xiongjie Shi Bao-Liang Song 2019Science China(Life Sciences)2019,62,9:8

5Improving photoreduction of CO2 with water to CH4 in a novel concentrated solar reactor显示文摘CO_2 photoreduction is an attractive process which allows the storage of solar energy and synthesis of solar fuels. Many different photocatalytic systems have been developed, while the alternative photo-reactors are still insufficiently investigated. In this work, photoreduction of CO_2 with H_2O into CH_4 was investigated in a modified concentrating solar reactor, using TiO_2 and Pt/TiO_2 as the catalysts. The TiO_2 and Pt/TiO_2 samples were extensively characterized by different techniques including powder X-ray diffraction(XRD), N_2 adsorption/desorption and UV–vis absorption. The catalytic performance of the TiO_2 and Pt/TiO_2 samples in the gas phase was evaluated under unconcentrated and concentrated Xe-lamp light and nature solar light with different concentrating ratios. Various parameters of the reaction system and the catalysts were investigated and optimized to maximize the catalytic performance of CO_2 reduction system. Compared with the normal light irradiation, the TiO_2 and Pt/TiO_2 samples show higher photocatalytic activity(about 6–7 times) for reducing CO_2 into CH_4 under concentrated Xe-lamp light and nature solar light. 6Pd/Hβ-zeolite catalysts for catalytic combustion of toluene:Effect of SiO_2/Al_2O_3 ratio显示文摘The effect of pure and high silica Hβ zeolites on the catalytic performance of toluene combustion over Pd/Hβ catalyst was evaluated.Pure and high silica β zeolites were prepared by direct synthesis procedures,then 0.1 wt% of palladium was impregnated on different Hβ zeolites via in-cipient wetness technique using palladium nitrate as the Pd source.The Pd/Hβ catalysts were characterized by XRD,N2 adsorption/desorption,H2O adsorption,NH3-TPD,H2-TPR and XPS techniques.With increasing the SiO2/Al2O3 ratio of β zeolite,the activity of the Pd/Hβ catalysts for toluene combustion increased clearly and the pure silica β zeolite supported Pd catalyst showed the best catalytic activity.The superior catalytic performance of Pd/β catalyst prepared from pure silica β zeolite was attributed to its high hydrophobicity and the preserving ability for PdO active species.Zekai Zhang Longya Xu Zhanlong Wang Yujuan Xu Yinfei Chen 2010Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2010,19,4:2

8Revealing the critical effect of solid electrolyte interphase on the deposition and detriment of Co(Ⅱ) ions to graphite anode显示文摘'Dissolution,migration,and deposition'of transition metal ions (TMIs) result in capacity degradation of lithium-ion batteries (LIBs).Understanding such detrimental mechanism of TMIs is critical to the development of LIBs with long cycle life.In most previous works,TMIs were directly introduced into the electrolyte to investigate such a detrimental mechanism.In these cases,the TMIs are deposited directly on the fresh anode surface.However,in the practical battery system,the TMIs are deposited on the anode covered with solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) film.Whether the pre-presence of SEI film on anode surface influences the deposition and detriment of TMIs is unclear.In this work,the deposition of Co element on graphite anode with and without SEI film were systematically studied.The results clearly show that,in comparison with that of fresh graphite (SEI-free),the presence of SEI film aggravates the deposition of Co ions due to the Li^(+)–Co^(2+) ion exchange between the SEI and Co^(2+)-containing electrolyte without the driving of the electric field,leading to faster capacity fading of graphite anode.Therefore,how to regulate electrolytes and film-forming additives to design the components of SEI and prevent its exchange with TMIs,is a crucial way to inhibit the deposition and detriment of TMIs on graphite anode.Qiming Xie Jiawei Chen Lidan Xing Xianggui Zhou Zekai Ma Binhong Wu Yilong Lin Hebing Zhou Weishan Li 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,6:2
9Deep learning for non-parameterized MEMS structural design显示文摘The geometric designs of MEMS devices can profoundly impact their physical properties and eventual performances.However,it is challenging for researchers to rationally consider a large number of possible designs,as it would be very time-and resource-consuming to study all these cases using numerical simulation.In this paper,we report the use of deep learning techniques to accelerate the MEMS design cycle by quickly and accurately predicting the physical properties of numerous design candidates with vastly different geometric features.Design candidates are represented in a nonparameterized,topologically unconstrained form using pixelated black-and-white images.After sufficient training,a deep neural network can quickly calculate the physical properties of interest with good accuracy without using conventional numerical tools such as finite element analysis.As an example,we apply our deep learning approach in the prediction of the modal frequency and quality factor of disk-shaped microscale resonators.With reasonable training,our deep learning neural network becomes a high-speed,high-accuracy calculator:it can identify the flexural mode frequency and the quality factor 4.6×10^(3)times and 2.6×10^(4)times faster,respectively,than conventional numerical simulation packages,with good accuracies of 98.8±1.6%and 96.8±3.1%,respectively.When simultaneously predicting the frequency and the quality factor,up to~96.0%of the total computation time can be saved during the design process.The proposed technique can rapidly screen over thousands of design candidates and promotes experience-free and data-driven MEMS structural designs.Ruiqi Guo Fanping Sui Wei Yue Zekai Wang Sedat Pala Kunying Li Renxiao Xu Liwei Lin 2022Microsystems & Nanoengineering2022,8,4:2
