| 1 | Influence of Different Al Contents on Microstructure, Tensile and Wear Properties of Zn-based Alloy显示文摘The influence of different Al contents on the microstructure, hardness, tensile and wear behavior of Zn-based alloys was investigated in the present study. The test results show that alloy with 27% Al content shows the higher ultimate strength and elongation percent at room and elevated temperatures. It also exhibits the higher wear resistance at all loads in view of the higher tightness of Zn-27Al alloy. Increasing Al content from 33% to 48% results in improvement of ultimate strength and elongation percent at room and elevated temperatures. However, the ultimate strength and elongation percent of the ZA48 alloy are still lower than that of Zn-27Al alloys. | 2 | Rhubarb-based Chinese herbal formulae for hepatic encephalopa-thy:a systematic review and Meta-analysis显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of rhubarb-based Chinese herbal formulae(RCHF), which are widely used to treat hepatic encephalopathy(HE) in China.METHODS: Nine online databases were searched from inception to November 22, 2016. Eligible studies were randomized controlled trials of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) treatment for adult patients(≥ 18 years old) with HE. Outcomes such as mortality rate, clinical response rate, blood ammonia level, and alanine aminotransferase were evaluated between TCM group and control group.RESULTS: Thirty studies involving 2661 HE patients were analyzed. Most studies used RCHF treatment.Compared with conventional treatment as usual,lactulose, and vinegar, RCHF were associated with significant improvement in clinical response rate[risk ratio(RR) = 1.33, 95% confidence interval(CI) =1.25, 1.43, I2= 0%; RR = 1.26, 95% CI = 1.14, 1.38, I2=22%; and RR = 1.19, 95% CI = 1.06, 1.33, I2= 0%, respectively] and significant reductions in levels of blood ammonia and alanine aminotransferase. Only minor RCHF-associated adverse events, such as abdominal pain(0.3%), anal tenesmus(0.3%), and diarrhea(2.3%), were reported, and there were no significant differences in these events between the treatment group and the three types of control group.CONCLUSION: The findings suggest that RCHF may be an alternative treatment option for HE patients. | 3 | Effects of renal sympathetic denervation on cardiac systolic function after myocardial infarction in rats显示文摘This study investigated the therapeutic effects of renal denervation on cardiac systolic function after myocardial infarction(MI) in rats and the mechanism involved.Fifty male SD rats were randomly assigned to the sham group(n = 15),the MI group(n = 20),and the MI plus renal denervation group(n = 15).MI was established through thoracotomic ligation of the anterior descending artery.Renal denervation was achieved by laparotomic stripping of the renal arterial adventitial sympathetic nerve,approximately 3 mm from the abdominal aorta.Left ventricular function and hemodynamics were measured several weeks following MI.The left ventricular systolic function of the MI group was significantly reduced and the systolic blood pressure(SBP) remarkably declined.In rats with MI treated with renal denervation,the left ventricular ejection fraction(EF),fractional shortening(FS) and SBP markedly improved compared with the MI group.However,heart rate and fibrosis decreased significantly.These findings suggest that renal denervation has therapeutic effects on post-MI cardiac dysfunction.These effects are associated with increased left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF) and SBP,as well as reduced heart rate and fibrosis.This may represent a new approach to the treatment of post-MI remodeling and subsequent heart failure. | Jiqun Guo Zhongxia Zhou Zhenzhen Li Qian Liu Guoqing Zhu Qijun Shan | 2016 | The Journal of Biomedical Research2016,30,5: | 3 |

| 9 | Influence of titanium content on wear resistance of electrolytic low-titanium eutectic Al-Si piston alloys显示文摘The wear resistance of six kinds of the electrolytic low-titanium eutectic Al-Si piston alloys with various Ti content ranging from 0.00wt.% to 0.21wt.% has been studied. A new method of adding Ti is adopted in the electrolytic low-titanium aluminum alloy ingots. The electrolytic low-titanium eutectic Al-Si piston alloys are produced by remelting the electrolytic low-titanium aluminum alloy, crystal silicon, pure magnesium, Al-50%Cu and Al-10%Mn master alloy. The wear experiments are conducted using MM200 wear testing machine under lubricating condition. The results indicate that the better wear resistance and the less weight loss are achieved in the study for the eutectic Al-Si piston alloys with 0.08wt.%–0.12wt.% Ti content. The highest ultimate tensile strength of 135.94 MPa at 300℃ and HV141.70 hardness of the alloys are obtained at 0.12wt.% and 0.08wt.% Ti content, respectively. | 16 | Traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis and treatment based on systematics显示文摘Background:Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)is a well-established medical system with a long history.However,the overall concept and systematic thinking in TCM are not comprehensively understood and applied in its inheritance and development.Objective This study aims to provide a basic theory for TCM diagnosis using systematics as the guiding principle.Using modern scientific and technological achievements,we aim to explore a new TCM diagnosis method.Methods:We analyzed previous studies on TCM diagnosis and treatment,and reviewed clinical research on TCM diagnosis and treatment from the viewpoint of systematics.We propose a new process model based on systematics for TCM diagnosis and treatment.This is a generalized model that summarizes the process of“establishing an image to express meaning”.Results:The proposed model was implemented in the clinical practice of TCM.We monitored the detailed treatment process of patients in the Department of Liver Diseases at Beijing Hospital.One patient underwent a treatment program that lasted 1 year and 45 days,consisting of 12 iterative cycles,each guided by the proposed diagnostic model and tailored to the patient's evolving condition.This case study validates the effectiveness of the proposed model in the diagnosis and treatment of liver disease in TCM.The therapeutic efficacy has been validated through the examination of both TCM indicators and Western medical auxiliary parameters.Among these,the TCM indicators consist of 2 components:tongue diagnosis and pulse diagnosis.Meanwhile,the Western medical auxiliary indicators encompass a range of assessments,including whole blood cell analysis,professional liver function examination,a series of liver function assessments,a high-sensitivity hepatitis B pentathlete test,as well as color Doppler ultrasound evaluations of the liver,bile duct,pancreas,spleen,and assessments of liver elasticity,among other related examination parameters.In conclusion,it is evident that the syndrome of liver depression and spleen deficiency has significantly diminished,and the viral load has decreased to levels below the detectable threshold,thereby confirming the restoration of normal liver function.These findings indicate that the disease is now under control.Conclusions:In this study,we applied the guiding principle of systematics to the study of TCM diagnosis and treatment,and combined it with modern medical technology.We proposed a TCM diagnosis and treatment process model,and a TCM model to establish an image,which can effectively support the diagnosis and treatment of TCM diseases.We illustrated the effectiveness of these models by applying them to TCM liver disease. | Zhanhong Wang Danli Wang Wen Liu Zhongxia Wang | 2023 | iLIVER2023,2,4: | 0 |
