2A novel interface consisting of homologous immunoglobulin superfamily members with multiple functions显示文摘Immunoglobulin superfamily(IgSF)members account for a large proportion of cell adhesion molecules that perform important immunological functions,including recognizing a variety of counterpart molecules on the cell surface or extracellular matrix.The findings that CD155/poliovirus receptor(PVR)and CD112/nectin-2 are the ligands for CD226/platelet and T-cell activation antigen 1(PTA1)/DNAX accessory molecular-1(DNAM-1),CD96/tactile and Washington University cell adhesion molecule(WUCAM)and that CD226 is physically and functionally associated with lymphocyte function-associated antigen-1(LFA-1)on natural killer(NK)and activated T cells have largely expanded our knowledge about the functions of CD226,CD96,WUCAM and LFA-1 and their respective ligands,CD155,CD112,intercellular adhesion molecule(ICAM)-1 and junctional adhesion molecule(JAM)-1.The interactions of these receptors and their ligands are involved in many key functions of immune cells including naive T cells,cytotoxic T cells,NK cells,NK T cells,monocytes,dendritic cells,mast cells and platelets/megakaryocytes.Zhuwei Xu Boquan Jin 2010Cellular & Molecular Immunology2010,7,1:8
3N-doped carbon quantum dots as fluorescent probes for highly selective and sensitive detection of Fe^3+ ions显示文摘To investigate the effect of nitrogen on the photoluminescence properties of carbon quantum dots (CO Ds), N-doped carbon quantum dots (N-CQDs)were synthesized by one-step hydrothermal treatment using biomass tar as the carbon precursor.As an inevitable organic pollutant,the unsaturated bonds in biomass tar,such as carboxylic acids,aldehydes,and aromatics,are favorable for formation of the graphitic carbon lattice.The obtained N-CQDs are spherical with an average particle size of 2.64nm and the crystal lattice spacing is 0.25nm,corresponding to the (100)facet of graphitic carbon.The N-CQDs emit bright blue photoluminescence under 365nm ultraviolet light,and they have excellent water solubility and stability with a high quantum yield of 26.1%.Coordination between the functional groups on the N-CQD surface and Fe^3+ ions is promoted because of the improved electronic properties and surface chemical reactivity caused by N atoms,leading to a significant fluorescence quenching effect of the N-CQDs in the presence of Fe^3+ions with high selectivity and sensitivity.There is a linear relationship between In (Fo/F)and the Fe^3+ concentration in the N-CQD concentration range 0.06-1400μmol/L with a detection limit of 60nmol/L, showing that the N-CQ.Ds have great potential as a fluorescent probe for Fe^3+detection.Xiangyi Deng Yali Feng Haoran Li Zhuwei Du Qing Teng Hongjun Wang 2018Particuology2018,16,6:5
4A Study on the Meat and Bone Meal and Poultry By-product Meal as Protein Substitutes of Fish Meal in Practical Diets for Litopenaeus vannamei Juveniles显示文摘A study was conducted to evaluate the effects of meat and bone meal (MBM) and poultry by-product meal (PBM) as the replacement of fish meal in the diets on the growth performance, survival and apparent digestibility coefficients (ADC) of Litopenaeus vannamei. The basal diets were formulated with 22% fish meal and other ingredients which provided about 40% protein and 9% lipid in the diet. The experimental diets included MBM or PBM to replace 0, 20%, 40%, 60% and 80% of total fish meal respectively. All diets were iso-nitrogenous and isocaloric in gross terms. The results showed that there were no significant differences (P>0.05) in growth performance and ADC among the treatments fed with the diets in which 0-60% fish meal had been replaced with MBM, while the percent weight gain (WG, %), body length gain (BLG, %) and ADC significantly decreased when the MBM was up to 80% of the fish meal. 5WAVES GENERATED BY A 3D MOVING BODY IN A TWO LAYER FLUID OF FINITE DEPTH显示文摘This paper is concerned with the waves generated by a 3 D body advancing beneath the free surface with constant speed in a two layer fluid of finite depth. By applying Green’s theorem, a layered integral equation system based on the Rankine source for the perturbed velocity potential generated by the moving body was derived with the potential flow theory. A four node isoparametric element method was used to treat with the solution of the layered integral equation system. The surface and interface waves generated by a moving ball were calculated numerically. 6The Deep Structure Feature of the Sichuan Basin and Adjacent Orogens显示文摘The basin-mountain system in the Sichuan Basin(SCB) reflects the main tectonic activity and the orogenic denudation in this region. The seismic probing work reveals the deep structure of the basin-mountain system. The seismic work was re-sampled to the Moho depth and the sedimentary thickness as well as the P-wave velocity-depth function to analyze the deep structure of the SCB and adjacent orogens. The results show two deposit centers in the SCB: the Deyang area in the west and the Nanchuan area in the east and depression uplift exists in the southwestern part of the SCB; the Moho shallowers gradually from the west to east(ca. 62-36 km deep),the South-North seismic belt(SNSB) is very distinctive: the Moho depth is much shallower(< 50 km)to the east of the SNSB, whereas it is much deeper(>50 km)to the west of the SNSB, suggesting that the SNSB rather than the Longmen Shan tectonic belt is a main Moho transition belt; the topography and the top interface of the basement have the same undulation trend when the sedimentary thickness and the Moho depth have a mirror relationship; the low velocity zone developed in the Kangdian thrust and fold belt and Songpan-Garzê belt implied a soft, weak and thick crust there showing tectonic activity in these areas.XIONG Xiaosong GAO Rui GUO Lianghui WANG Haiyan JIANG Zhuwei 2015Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2015,89,4:3
7Enhanced U(Ⅵ) bioreduction by alginate-immobilized uranium-reducing bacteria in the presence of carbon nanotubes and anthraquinone-2,6-disulfonate显示文摘Uranium-reducing bacteria were immobilized with sodium alginate, anthraquinone-2,6-disulfonate(AQDS), and carbon nanotubes(CNTs). The effects of different AQDS-CNTs contents, U(Ⅳ) concentrations, and metal ions on U(Ⅳ) reduction by immobilized beads were examined. Over 97.5% U(Ⅵ)(20 mg/L) was removed in 8 hr when the beads were added to 0.7% AQDS-CNTs, which was higher than that without AQDS-CNTs. This result may be attributed to the enhanced electron transfer by AQDS and CNTs. The reduction of U(Ⅵ) occurred at initial U(Ⅵ) concentrations of 10 to 100 mg/L and increased with increasing AQDS-CNT content from 0.1% to 1%. The presence of Fe(Ⅲ), Cu(Ⅱ) and Mn(Ⅱ)slightly increased U(Ⅵ) reduction, whereas Cr(Ⅵ), Ni(Ⅱ), Pb(Ⅱ), and Zn(Ⅱ) significantly inhibited U(Ⅵ) reduction. After eight successive incubation-washing cycles or 8 hr of retention time(HRT) for 48 hr of continuous operation, the removal efficiency of uranium was above 90% and 92%, respectively. 8Endothelial METRNL determines circulating METRNL level and maintains endothelial function against atherosclerosis显示文摘METRNL is a recently identified secreted protein with emerging functions.This study is to find major cellular source of circulating METRNL and to determine METRNL novel function.Here,we show METRNL is abundant in human and mouse vascular endothelium and released by endothelial cells using endoplasmic reticulum-Golgi apparatus pathway.By creating endothelial cell-specific Metrnl knockout mice,combined with bone marrow transplantation to produce bone marrow-specific deletion of Metrnl,we demonstrate that most of circulating METRNL(approximately 75%)originates from the endothelial cells.Both endothelial and circulating METRNL decrease in atherosclerosis mice and patients.By generating endothelial cell-specific Metrnl knockout in apolipoprotein E-deficient mice,combined with bone marrow-specific deletion of Metrnl in apolipoprotein E-deficient mice,we further demonstrate that endothelial METRNL deficiency accelerates atherosclerosis.Mechanically,endothelial METRNL deficiency causes vascular endothelial dysfunction including vasodilation impairment via reducing eNOS phosphorylation at Ser1177 and inflammation activation via enhancing NFκB pathway,which promotes the susceptibility of atherosclerosis.Exogenous METRNL rescues METRNL deficiency induced endothelial dysfunction.These findings reveal that METRNL is a new endothelial substance not only determining the circulating METRNL level but also regulating endothelial function for vascular health and disease.METRNL is a therapeutic target against endothelial dysfunction and atherosclerosis.Sili Zheng Zhiyong Li Jie Song Pin Wang Jian Xu Wenjun Hu Yi Shi Qi Qi Zhuwei Miao Yunfeng Guan Chaoyu Miao 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,4:2

17OPTIMIZATION OF Ni BIOACCUMULATION BY SYNECHCOCCUS显示文摘Influencing factors on bioaccumulation of Ni by Synechcoccus were studied in this paper. The equilibration time of Ni bioaccumulation was about 80 min in aqueous solution. Bioaccumulation quantity reached maximum when mass ratio of Ni to dry weight concentration of Synechcoccus was 16?18%. Bioaccumulation quantity increased with in- creasing pH. The optimum pH was 9?10 and higher pH led to precipitation of Ni(OH)2. Bioaccumulation quantity was also influenced by temperature and light intensity reaching their optima at 35oC and 3 000 lx respectively.
