1Simultaneous Screening of 733 Pesticide Residues in Fruits and Vegetables by a GC/LC-Q-TOFMS Combination Technique显示文摘In this paper,we report the construction of two accurate mass databases and the development of a combination detection method that simultaneously screens for 733 pesticide and chemical contaminant multi-residues via high-throughput liquid chromatography(LC)-and gas chromatography(GC)-quadru pole-time-of-flight mass spectrometry(Q-TOFMS).This work demonstrates that electronic mass spectral standards may replace chemical-source standard materials as references through one sample preparation and the combination of GC/LC-Q-TOFMS screening.This cutting-edge technique has also replaced multiresidue determination using targeted detection with non-targeted screening.The pesticide residue types,sensitivity,recovery,and reproducibility of this combination technique are evaluated in eight fruit and vegetable matrices.This technique shows three advantages:①In comparison with the discovery capability of a single technique,the combination technique shows an improvement of 51.1%(GC-QTOFMS)and 39.6%(LC-Q-TOFMS),respectively;②the combination technique can satisfy a screening limit lower than 10μg·kg^-1 and meet the requirements of“uniform standards,”although some of the pesticide residues could be optimized to further improve screening sensitivity;③over 488 pesticides with recoveries between 60%-120%and relative standard deviation(RSD)<20%at a spiked level of 10μg·kg^-1 were detected with the combination technique in eight different matrices.From 2012 to 2017,this combination technique was applied in an investigation to screen pesticide residues from 1384 sampling locations for 38138 batched samples covering 18 categories and 134 types of fruits and vegetables obtained from across the mainland of China.After statistical analysis,533 pesticides in 115891 determinations were detected,and the regularity of pesticides in the fruits and vegetables sold on the Chinese market was shown.Guofang Pang Qiaoying Chang Ruobin Bai Chunlin Fan Zijuan Zhang Hongyuan Yan Xingqiang Wu 2020Engineering2020,6,4:11

3Microstructural and mechanical behavior of a CoCrFeNiCu_4 non-equiatomic high entropy alloy显示文摘High entropy alloy(HEA)-based alloy design is experiencing a conceptual broadening from equiatomic alloys to non-equiatomic alloys.To provide experimental basis for designing Cu-rich non-equiatomic HEAs,in the current study,a dual phase(Cu-rich and CoCrFeNi-rich phases) face-centered cubic CoCrFeNiCu_(4) alloy was systematically investigated.We provided initial and experiment-based understanding of the behavioral change of the alloy during a variety of thermal cycles and thermomechanical processing.The current results indicate that,during heating,preferred precipitation of Cu-rich particles occurs,leading to more pronounced compositional differences between the two constituent FCC phases and increased relative volume fraction of the Cu-rich phase.The Alloy exhibits a continuous melting and discontinuous solidification of the Cu-rich and CoCrFeNi-rich phases.After being cold-rolled to ~90 % thickness reduction,the alloy exhibits a recrystallization temperature higher than 800℃.Annealing at 300 and 500℃ led to strength reduction and/or ductility decrease;further increasing annealing temperature monotonically caused softening and ductilization due to decreased density of pre-existing dislocations.The yield-drop phenomena observed for the 900℃-and 1000℃-annealed specimens are associated with the locking of pre-existing dislocations by some 'atmosphere',the nature of which warrants further elucidation.Zijuan Xu Zhongtao Li Yang Tong Weidong Zhang Zhenggang Wu 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,1:8
4Psychrotolerant methanogenic archaea:Diversity and cold adaptation mechanisms显示文摘Because of their diversity and abundance in a wide range of environments,particularly in cold regions,cold-adaptive archaea are expected to play a pivotal role in material recycling in cold environments.Methanogenic archaea are ubiquitous on earth and produce a large amount of methane (CH4) as their main carbon metabolite.Methanogens are the most laboratory amendable archaea.The few psychrophilic archaea that have been cultured to date are mainly affiliated with methanogens,thus make them a good model for investigating mechanisms of archaeal cold adaptation.Studies of psychrotolerant methanogens have been ongoing since the 1990s.Using Methanococcoides burtonii,a methanogen isolated from Ace Lake in Antarctica,extensive studies on the genomic characteristics associated with cold adaptation have been carried out by the Cavicchioli laboratory.We recently analyzed the genome of another psychrophilic methanogen and identified the gene repertoire associated with cold adaptation.This review summarizes recent studies of psychroactive methanogens,particularly their diversity,the genomics and proteomics associated with their cold adaptation,and the cellular components and proteins likely involved in their cold protection.DONG XiuZhu CHEN ZiJuan 2012Science China(Life Sciences)2012,55,5:7
5Source apportionment of PM_(2.5)light extinction in an urban atmosphere in China显示文摘Haze in China is primarily caused by high pollution of atmospheric fine particulates(PM2.5).However, the detailed source structures of PM2.5 light extinction have not been well established, especially for the roles of various organic aerosols, which makes haze management lack specified targets. This study obtained the mass concentrations of the chemical compositions and the light extinction coefficients of fine particles in the winter in Dongguan, Guangdong Province, using high time resolution aerosol observation instruments. We combined the positive matrix factor(PMF) analysis model of organic aerosols and the multiple linear regression method to establish a quantitative relationship model between the main chemical components, in particular the different sources of organic aerosols and the extinction coefficients of fine particles with a high goodness of fit(R^2= 0.953). The results show that the contribution rates of ammonium sulphate,ammonium nitrate, biomass burning organic aerosol(BBOA), secondary organic aerosol(SOA) and black carbon(BC) were 48.1%, 20.7%, 15.0%, 10.6%, and 5.6%, respectively. It can be seen that the contribution of the secondary aerosols is much higher than that of the primary aerosols(79.4% versus 20.6%) and are a major factor in the visibility decline. BBOA is found to have a high visibility destroying potential, with a high mass extinction coefficient, and was the largest contributor during some high pollution periods. 6Pyrroloquinoline quinone regulates the redox status in vitro and in vivo of weaned pigs via the Nrf2/HO-1 pathway显示文摘Background:Oxidative stress is a main cause of piglet gut damage and diarrhea.Pyrroloquinoline quinone(PQQ),is a novel redox cofactor with antioxidant properties.However,the effect and mechanism that PQQ supplementation decreases oxidative injury in weaned pigs is not understood.Therefore,the aim of this study is to confirm the effect of PQQ on regulating redox status in weaned pigs and the mechanism for antioxidant function by porcine intestinal epithelial cell line(IPEC-J2)challenged with H_(2)O_(2).Results:Experiment 1,144 Duroc×Landrace×Yorkshire pigs(weaned at 28 d)were allocated to four groups:received a basal diet(control)and diets supplemented with 0.15%,0.30%and 0.45%PQQ,respectively.On d 28,growth performance,diarrhea incidence and redox factors were measured.Experiment 2,IPEC-J2 were treated with or without PQQ in the presence or absence of H_(2)O_(2)for indicated time points.Experiment 3,IPEC-J2 were transfected with or without Nrf2 siRNA,then treated according to Experiment 2.The cell viability,redox factors,protein of tight junctions and Nrf2 pathway were determined.In vivo,PQQ supplementation demonstrated dose-related improvements in average daily gain,and gain to feed ratio(Linear P<0.05).During d 0–28,compared to controls,0.45%PQQ supplementation for pigs decreased diarrhea incidence and MDA content in liver and jejunum,and increased concentration of SOD in liver;0.3%PQQ supplementation decreased ileal and liver MDA concentration;and 0.15%PQQ supplementation decreased ileal MDA concentration(P<0.05).In vitro,compared to cells cultured with H_(2)O_(2),pre-treatment with PQQ increased cell viability,tight junction proteins expression including ZO-1,ZO-2,Occludin and Claudin-1;and decreased ROS concentration and level of Caspase-3(P<0.05);as well as upregulated the ratio of Bcl-2 to Bax and protein expression of nuclear Nrf2,HO-1.Notably,Nrf2 knockdown by transfection with Nrf2 siRNA largely abrogated the positive effects of PQQ pretreatment on H_(2)O_(2)-induced intracellular changes.Conclusions:PQQ administration attenuated oxidative stress in weaned pigs which is associated with activation of Nrf2/HO-1 pathway.Caiyun Huang Zijuan Fan Dandan Han Lee J.Johnston Xi Ma Fenglai Wang 2021Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2021,12,4:4
7Correlation between LRRK2 gene polymorphism sites S1647T and R1398H and Parkinson’s disease in a Chinese Han population显示文摘A recent multicenter study demonstrated that two variants of LRRK2, S1647T and R1398H, are associated with sporadic Parkinson’s disease. The present study analyzed LRRK2 gene polymorphisms of S1647T and R1398H, demonstrating that the LRRK2 gene polymorphism S1647T variant is a risk factor for Parkinson’s disease in a Chinese Han population. However, the R1398H variant did not influence the risk for Parkinson’s disease. In addition, there was no difference in clinical symptoms of Parkinson’s disease patients with various genotypes. Results showed that the LRRK2 S1647T variant was associated with an increased risk for developing early-onset Parkinson’s disease in a Chinese Han population. 8Response of root traits of Reaumuria soongorica and Salsola passerina to facilitation显示文摘C3 plant Reaumuria soongorica and C4 plant Salsola passerina are super xerophytes and coexist in a mixed community in either isolated or associated growth, and interspecific facilitation occurs in associated growth. In the present study, the root traits including root distribution, root length(RL), root surface area(RSA), root weight(RW) and specific root length(SRL) of both species in two growth forms were investigated to clarify their response to facilitation in associated growth. Six isolated plants of each species, as well as six associated plants similar in size and development were selected during the plant growing season, and their roots were excavated at 0–10, 10–20, 20–30, 30–40 and 40–50 cm soil depths at the end of the growing season. All the roots of each plant were separated into the two categories of fine roots(<2 mm diameter) and coarse roots(≥2 mm diameter). Root traits such as RL and RSA in the fine and coarse roots were obtained by the root analyzing system WinRHIZO. Most of the coarse roots in R. soongorica and S. passerina were distributed in the top 10 cm of the soil in both growth forms, whereas the fine roots of the two plant species were found mainly in the 10–20 and 20–30 cm soil depths in isolated growth, respectively. However, the fine roots of both species were mostly overlapped in 10–20 cm soil depth in associated growth. The root/canopy ratios of both species reduced, whereas the ratios of their fine roots to coarse roots in RL increased, and both species had an increased SRL in the fine roots in associated growth. In addition, there was the increase in RL of fine roots and content of root N for S. passerina in associated growth. 9An Optimal CDG Framework for Energy Efficient WSNs显示文摘Compressed sensing(CS) has been applied widely in Wireless sensor networks(WSNs) recently.An optimal Compressed data gathering(CDG) framework for energy efficient WSNs is proposed here. A novel Measurement matrix optimization algorithm(MMOA) is proposed for compressed data measurement in WSNs. Diffusion wavelet transform matrix(DWTM) is chosen for sparse representation of the compressed data. An Optimal data aggregation tree(ODAT) algorithm is presented based on CS and routing technology. MMOA is to reduce the data transmissions under the same data reconstruction ratio. DWTM is to make the original data become more sparse and to increase the compressed data reconstruction ratio. The main purpose of ODAT is to minimize the energy consumption of the whole WSNs through the CDG technology and the optimal route. 10Mapping Human Pluripotent Stem Cell-derived Erythroid Differentiation by Single-cell Transcriptome Analysis显示文摘There is an imbalance between the supply and demand of functional red blood cells(RBCs)in clinical applications.This imbalance can be addressed by regenerating RBCs using several in vitro methods.Induced pluripotent stem cells(iPSCs)can handle the low supply of cord blood and the ethical issues in embryonic stem cell research,and provide a promising strategy to eliminate immune rejection.However,no complete single-cell level differentiation pathway exists for the iPSC-derived erythroid differentiation system.In this study,we used iPSC line BC1 to establish a RBC regeneration system.The 10X Genomics single-cell transcriptome platform was used to map the cell lineage and differentiation trajectory on day 14 of the regeneration system.We observed that iPSC differentiation was not synchronized during embryoid body(EB)culture.The cells(on day 14)mainly consisted of mesodermal and various blood cells,similar to the yolk sac hematopoiesis.We identified six cell classifications and characterized the regulatory transcription factor(TF)networks and cell-cell contacts underlying the system.iPSCs undergo two transformations during the differentiation trajectory,accompanied by the dynamic expression of cell adhesion molecules and estrogen-responsive genes.We identified erythroid cells at different stages,such as burst-forming unit erythroid(BFU-E)and orthochromatic erythroblast(ortho-E)cells,and found that the regulation of TFs(e.g.,TFDP1 and FOXO3)is erythroid-stage specific.Immune erythroid cells were identified in our system.This study provides systematic theoretical guidance for optimizing the iPSC-derived erythroid differentiation system,and this system is a useful model for simulating in vivo hematopoietic development and differentiation.Zijuan Xin Wei Zhang Shangjin Gong Junwei Zhu Yanming Li Zhaojun Zhang Xiangdong Fang 2021Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2021,19,3:2
11Trace Amounts of Triple-Functional Additives Enable Reversible Aqueous Zinc-Ion Batteries from a Comprehensive Perspective显示文摘Although their cost-effectiveness and intrinsic safety,aqueous zinc-ion batteries suffer from notorious side reactions including hydrogen evolution reaction,Zn corrosion and passivation,and Zn dendrite formation on the anode.Despite numerous strategies to alleviate these side reactions have been demonstrated,they can only provide limited performance improvement from a single aspect.Herein,a triple-functional additive with trace amounts,ammonium hydroxide,was demonstrated to comprehensively protect zinc anodes.The results show that the shift of electrolyte pH from 4.1 to 5.2 lowers the HER potential and encourages the in situ formation of a uniform ZHS-based solid electrolyte interphase on Zn anodes.Moreover,cationic NH^(4+)can preferentially adsorb on the Zn anode surface to shield the“tip effect”and homogenize the electric field.Benefitting from this comprehensive protection,dendrite-free Zn deposition and highly reversible Zn plating/stripping behaviors were realized.Besides,improved electrochemical performances can also be achieved in Zn//MnO_(2)full cells by taking the advantages of this triple-functional additive.This work provides a new strategy for stabilizing Zn anodes from a comprehensive perspective.Ruwei Chen Wei Zhang Quanbo Huang Chaohong Guan Wei Zong Yuhang Dai Zijuan Du Zhenyu Zhang Jianwei Li Fei Guo Xuan Gao Haobo Dong Jiexin Zhu Xiaohui Wang Guanjie He 2023Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,6:2

18Utility of Triti-Map for bulk-segregated mapping of causal genes and regulatory elements in Triticeae显示文摘Triticeae species,including wheat,barley,and rye,are critical for global food security.Mapping agronomically important genes is crucial for elucidating molecular mechanisms and improving crops.However,Triticeae includes many wild relatives with desirable agronomic traits,and frequent introgressions occurred during Triticeae evolution and domestication.Thus,Triticeae genomes are generally large and complex,making the localization of genes or functional elements that control agronomic traits challenging.Here,we developed Triti-Map,which contains a suite of user-friendly computational packages specifically designed and optimized to overcome the obstacles of gene mapping in Triticeae,as well as a web interface integrating multi-omics data from Triticeae for the efficient mining of genes or functional elements that control particular traits.The Triti-Map pipeline accepts bothDNA and RNAbulk-segregated sequencing data as well as traditional QTL data as inputs for locating genes and elucidating their functions.We illustrate the usage of Triti-Map with a combination of bulk-segregated ChIP-seq data to detect a wheat disease-resistance gene with its promoter sequence that is absent from the reference genome and clarify its evolutionary process.We hope that Triti-Map will facilitate gene isolation and accelerate Triticeae breeding.Fei Zhao Shilong Tian Qiuhong Wu Zijuan Li Luhuan Ye Yili Zhuang Meiyue Wang Yilin Xie Shenghao Zou Wan Teng Yiping Tong Dingzhong Tang Ajay Kumar Mahato Moussa Benhamed Zhiyong Liu Yijing Zhang 2022Plant Communications2022,3,4:1
19Effects of topography and vegetation on distribution of rare earth elements in calcareous soils显示文摘This study investigated the impact of topography and vegetation on distribution of rare earth elements(REEs)in calcareous soils using methods of single extraction and mass balance calculation. The purposes of the study were to set a basis for further research on the biogeochemical REE cycle and to provide references for soil–water conservation and REE-containing fertilizer amendments. The results show a generally flat Post-Archean Average Australian Shale—normalized REE pattern for the studied calcareous soils. REE enrichment varied widely. The proportion of acidsoluble phases of heavy REEs was higher than that of light REEs. From top to bottom of the studied hills, dominant REE sources transitioned from limestone in-situ weathering to input from REE-containing phases(e.g., clay minerals,amorphous iron, REE-containing fluids).
