1Discovery of the Early Paleozoic post-collisional granites in northern margin ofthe Erguna massif and its geological significance显示文摘The Luoguhe intrusion, located in MoheCounty, Heilongjiang Province, is mainly composed of mon-zogranite, quartz diorite and granodiorite, with minor dio-rite, tonalite, quartz monzodiorite, quartz monzonite, syeno-granite and alkali-feldspar granite. The intrusion can bedivided into two lithological units, i.e. quartz diorite andmonzogranite units, with affinities to high-K calc-alkalineseries. The quartz diorite unit (SiO2: 54.79%―58.30%Na2O/CaO: 0.79―1.53 and Shand index: 0.77―0.82) belongsto metaluminous rocks. And the monzogranite unit (SiO2:65.29%―66.45%, Na2O/CaO: 1.73―3.43 and Shand index<1.05) can be considered as weakly peraluminous rocks. Theintrusion is characterized by high REE abundance (∑REE =180.2―344.3 μg/g), medium-strong negative Eu anomalies(δ Eu = 0.33―0.82), weak REE fractionation [(La/Yb)N =4.12―10.45], enrichments in Rb, Th, U, K, La, Ce, Nd, HfZr and Sm, but strong depletions of Ba, Nb, Ta, Sr, P and TiThese characteristics of major, REE and trace elements in-dicate that the intrusion was formed in a transitional tectonicsetting from compressional to extensional regime, which canbe classified as post-collisional granitoids. SHRIMP U-Pbzircon analyses yield ages of 517±9 and 504±8 Ma for thequartz diorite and monzogranite units, respectively. 2Analysis and construction status of SG-Ⅱ 5PW laser facility显示文摘We present a recent progress of the SG-II 5 PW facility, which designed a multi-petawatt ultrashort pulse laser based on optical parametric chirped-pulse amplification(OPCPA). The prior two optical parametric amplifiers have been accomplished and chirped pulses with an energy of 49.7 J and a full-width-at-half-maximum(FWHM) spectrum bandwidth of 85 nm have been achieved. In the PW-scale optical parametric amplification(OPA), with the pump pulse that has an energy of 118 J from the second harmonic generation of the SG-II 7 th beam, the pump-to-signal conversion efficiency is up to 41.9%, which to the best of our knowledge is the highest among all of the reported values for OPCPA systems. The compressed pulse is higher than 37 J in 21 fs(1.76 PW), and the focal spot is ~10 μm after the closed-loop corrections by the adaptive optics. Limited by the repetition of the pump laser, the SG-II 5 PW facility operates one shot per hour. 3A bioinformatic evaluation of potential allergenicity of 85 candidate genes in transgenic organisms显示文摘The potential of genetically modified organisms(GMOs) to increase allergenicity or predispositions to allergies has attracted much attention.An approach that will properly and holistically evaluate the allergenicity of GMOs is yet to be found.Here,85 transgenes that have been reported in both international and domestic studies during recent years are summarized case by case;49 of the transformed genes were from plant sources and 36 were from animal sources.EVALLERTM,a web server for the in silico assessment of potential protein allergenicity,was used to evaluate the potential of the transgenic proteins as allergens.The biomedical journals listed in Highwire(http://highwire.stanford.edu/) were searched and reviewed to decipher whether any of the transformed genes were linked to allergenicity or human health.The EVALLER analysis identified 5 allergenic genes,whilst our literature review found 11 genes that were either related to allergic cases or to clinical adverse events;all 16 of these genes have been used in GMOs.The analysis pathway that we have developed can help guide the selection of genes to be used in genetic modification.The pathway also provides a paradigm for allergenicity analysis of transgene candidates.ZOU ZeHong HE Ying RUAN Lin SUN BaoQing CHEN HuiFang CHEN De LIU ShiMing YANG XiaoGuang TAO AiLin 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,15:1
4Systematic study of spatiotemporal influences on temporal contrast in the focal region in large-aperture broadband ultrashort petawatt lasers显示文摘Temporal contrast is one of the crucial physical determinants which guarantee the successful performance of laser–matter interaction experiments. We generally reviewed the influences on the temporal contrast in three categories of noises based on the requirement by the physical mechanisms. The spatiotemporal influences on temporal contrast at the focal region of the chromatic aberration and propagation time difference introduced by large-aperture broadband spatial filters, which were spatiotemporally coupled with compression and focusing, were calculated and discussed with a practical case in SG-Ⅱ5 PW ultrashort petawatt laser. 7Plasma parameter diagnosis using hydrogen emission spectra of a quartz-chamber 2.45 GHz ECRIS at Peking University显示文摘A quartz-chamber 2.45 GHz electron cyclotron resonance ion source(ECRIS) was designed for diagnostic purposes at Peking University [Patent Number: ZL 201110026605.4]. This ion source can produce a maximum 84 m A hydrogen ion beam at 50 k V with a duty factor of 10%. The root-mean-square(RMS) emittance of this beam is less than 0.12π mm mrad. In our initial work,the electron temperature and electron density inside the plasma chamber had been measured with the line intensity ratio of noble gases. Based on these results, the atomic and molecular emission spectra of hydrogen were applied to determine the dissociation degree of hydrogen and the vibrational temperature of hydrogen molecules in the ground state, respectively. Measurements were performed at gas pressures from 4×10^(-4) to 1×10^(-3) Pa and at input peak RF power ranging from 1000 to 1800 W. The dissociation degree of hydrogen in the range of 0.5%-10% and the vibrational temperature of hydrogen molecules in the ground state in the range of 3500-8500 K were obtained. 8β-Cyclodextrin derived full-spectrum fluorescent carbon dots: The formation process investigation and biological applications显示文摘Carbon dots(CDs), a new building unit, have been revolutionizing the fields of biomedicine, bioimaging, and optoelectronics with their excellent physical, chemical, and biological properties. However, the difficulty of preparing excitation-dependent full-spectrum fluorescent CDs has seriously hindered their further research in fluorescence emission mechanisms and biomedicine. Here, we report full-spectrum fluorescent CDs that exhibit controlled emission changes from purple(380 nm) to red(613 nm) at room temperature by changing the excitation wavelength, and the excitation dependence was closely related to the regulation of sp2 and sp3 hybrid carbon structures by β-cyclodextrin-related groups. In addition,by regulating the content of β-cyclodextrin, the optimal quantum yields of full-spectrum fluorescent CDs were 8.97%, 8.35%, 7.90%, 9.69% and 17.4% at the excitation wavelengths of 340, 350, 390, 410 and 540 nm,respectively. Due to their excellent biocompatibility and color tunability, full-spectrum fluorescent CDs emitted bright and steady purple, blue, green, yellow, and red fluorescence in MCF-7 cells. Moreover, we optimized the imaging conditions of CDs and mitochondrial-specific dyes;and realized the mitochondrialtargeted co-localization imaging of purple, blue and green fluorescence.
