| 1 | The PL 'violet shift' of cerium dioxide on silicon显示文摘CeO2 thin film was fabricated by dual ion beam epitaxial technique. The phenomenon of PL violet shift at room temperature was observed, and the distance of shift was about 65 nm. After the analysis of crystal structure and valence in the compound were carried out by XRD and XPS technique, it was concluded that the PL shift was related with valence of cerium ion in the oxides. | 2 | Generation of purple-violet chrysanthemums via anthocyanin B-ring hydroxylation and glucosylation introduced from Osteospermum hybrid F3'5'H and Clitoria ternatea A3'5'GT显示文摘Chrysanthemums possess no metabolic pathway to synthesize delphinidin because of the lack of endogenous F3'5'H gene encoding the key enzyme in its biosynthetic pathway;therefore,there are no blue or blue-purple chrysanthemums occurring naturally.Currently,the introduction of exogenous F3'5'H into chrysanthemums is an efficient method for breeding bluish chrysanthemums.In this study,we explored the effects of the introduction of mutant CmF3'H(generated via site-directed mutagenesis,T485S,CmF3'Hm)and exogenous Osteospermum hybrid F3'5'H(OhF3'5'H)genes combined with Clitoria ternatea A3'5'GT(CtA3'5'GT)on delphinidin synthesis in chrysanthemum.Among the F3'5'H transgenic lines,those overexpressing endogenous CmF3'Hm could not generate blue flower color,although red color was changed to light pink due to CtA3'5'GT function.Meanwhile,OhF3'5'H introduction promoted the accumulation of delphinidin and its derivatives in chrysanthemum,changing the flower color from red-purple to purple-violet.These results indicate the applicability of exogenous OhF3'5'H and CtA3'5'GT transformation for promoting delphinidin synthesis during the molecular breeding of violet/blue chrysanthemums. | Xiaoying Han Yuting Luo Jiaoyang Lin Huiying Wu Hao Sun Lijie Zhou Sumei Chen Zhiyong Guan Weimin Fang Fei Zhang Fadi Chen Jiafu Jiang | 2021 | Ornamental Plant Research2021,1,1: | 3 |
| 3 | Au, Ag and Au:Ag colloidal nanoparticles synthesized by pulsed laser ablation as SERS substrates显示文摘Chemically pure colloidal suspensions of gold and silver nanoparticles were synthesized using pulsed laser ablation.The dependence of laser fl uence on the surface plasmon characteristics of the nanoparticles was investigated.Au:Ag colloidal suspensions were prepared by mixing highly monodisperse Au and Ag nanocolloids.The plasmon band of these mixtures was found to be highly sensitive to Au:Ag concentration ratio and wavelength of the laser beam used in the ablation process.The Au:Ag mixture consists of almost spherical shaped nanostructures with a tendency to join with adjacent ones.The surface enhanced Raman scattering activity of the Au,Ag and Au:Ag colloidal suspensions was tested using crystal violet as probe molecules.Enhancement in Raman signal obtained with Au:Ag substrates was found to be promising and strongly depends on its plasmon characteristics. | M.Vinod K.G.Gopchandran | 2014 | Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2014,24,6: | 2 |
| 4 | Endocytoscopic visualization of squamous cell islands within Barrett's epithelium显示文摘AIM: To study the endocytoscopic visualization of squamous cell islands within Barrett's epithelium. METHODS: Endocytoscopy (ECS) has been studied in the surveillance of Barrett's esophagus, with controversial results. In initial studies, however, a soft catheter type endocytoscope was used, while only methylene blue dye was used for the staining of Barrett's mucosa. Integrated type endocytoscopes (GIF-Q260 EC, Olympus Corp, Tokyo, Japan) have been recently developed, with the incorporation of a high-power magnifying endocytoscope into a standard endoscope together with narrow-band imaging (NBI). Moreover, double staining with a mixture of 0.05% crystal violet and 0.1% of methylene blue (CM) during ECS enables higher quality images comparable to conventional hematoxylin eosin histopathological images.RESULTS: In vivo endocytoscopic visualization of papillary squamous cell islands within glandular Barrett's epithelium in a patient with long-segment Barrett's esophagus is reported. Conventional white light endoscopy showed typical long-segment Barrett's esophagus, with small squamous cell islands within normal Barrett's mucosa, which were better visualized by NBI endoscopy. ECS after double CM staining showed regular Barrett's esophagus, while higher magnification (×480) revealed the orifices of glandular structures better. Furthermore, typical squamous cell papillary protrusion, classified as endocytoscopic atypia classification (ECA) 2 according to ECA, was identified within regular glandular Barrett's mucosa. Histological examination of biopsies taken from the same area showed squamous epithelium within glandular Barrett's mucosa, corresponding well to endocytoscopic findings. | 8 | Performance Improvement of GaN-Based Violet Laser Diodes显示文摘The influences of InGaN/GaN multiple quantum wells(MQWs) and AlGaN electron-blocking layers(EBL) on the performance of GaN-based violet laser diodes are investigated. Compared with the InGaN/GaN MQWs grown at two different temperatures, the same-temperature growth of InGaN well and GaN barrier layers has a positive effect on the threshold current and slope efficiency of laser diodes, indicating that the quality of MQWs is improved. In addition, the performance of GaN laser diodes could be further improved by increasing Al content in the AlGaN EBL due to the fact that the electron leakage current could be reduced by properly increasing the barrier height of AlGaN EBL. | 10 | Evaluations of physico-chemical properties of TiO_(2)/clinoptilolite synthesized via three methods on photocatalytic degradation of crystal violet显示文摘Different preparation routes for TiO_(2)-supported natural and synthetic clinoptilolite(TiO_(2)/CP)composites were thoroughly investigated on the basis of sol-gel,hydrothermal,and in-situ hydrothermal methods.The micro-structural features and physicochemical properties of resultant TiO_(2)/CPs were characterized via X-ray diffraction patterns,scanning(transmission)electron microscope images,Fourier transform infrared spectra,inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectrometry methods,BET-isotherms,UV-visible spectra,and surface charge potential distributions.The results showed that in-situ hydrothermal method led to well dispersions of loaded-TiO_(2) particles on the surface of leaf-like CP,while obviously aggregated TiO_(2) on a relatively distorted structure of CP was obtained using sol-gel and hydrothermal methods.Their adsorptive and photocatalytic efficiencies for removal of crystal violet(CV)dye in aqueous solution were also explored under UV-irradiations.The results demonstrated that TiO_(2)/CPs synthesized via sol-gel and in-situ hydrothermal methods presented the excellent performances with 98% removal efficiencies as compare to the bare commercial TiO_(2) which achieved 53%removal of CV dye.While,the in-situ hydrothermally synthesized TiO_(2)/CPs were the best due to their moderate energy cost,highest adsorption capacities and removal efficiencies.Particularly,the synthetic CPs as supports exhibited synergetic photocatalytic activities for the degradation of CV dye,which is attributed to their high surface areas,better adsorption capability,and fine dispersion of TiO_(2) particles.Adsorption and degradation kinetics of CV dye were found to follow the pseudo-second and pseudo-first order models,respectively. | Raza Ullah Jihong Sun Anadil Gul Tallat Munir Xia Wu | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,5: | 1 |
