Body sensor networks for ubiquitous healthcare显示文摘Body sensor networks provide a platform for ubiquitous healthcare, driving the diagnosis in hospital static environment to the daily life dynamic context. We realized the importance of sensing of activities, which is not only a dimension of human health but also important context information for diagnosis based on the physiologic data. This paper presents our ubiquitous healthcare system, uCare. It consists of uCare devices and a server system. Currently, the uCare system is designed for cardiovascular disease (CVD) examination and management. The uCare device has been tested in a trial in Beijing Hospital. The uCare system will be further tested in elderly care at home and exercise management in training to measure heart dynamics during training. | Wang, Shaofeng Ji, Lianying Li, Aiguang Wu, Jiankang | 2011 | 控制理论与应用(英文版)2011,9,1: | 3

Changes of Plasma tPA and PAI Activities in Patients with Diabetic Retinopathy显示文摘Purpose:To investigate the relationship between the diabetic retinopathy (DR) and the activity of plasma tissue plasminogen activator (tPA) and plasminogen activator inhibitor (PAI).Methods :tPA and PAI activities were measured by chromatogenous substrate assay in plasma samples obtained from patients with and without diabetic retinopathy (n = 42). Retinopathy was determined by stereoscopic color fundus photographs graded according to a modification of Chinese National Fundus Disease Academic Meeting. And 21 sex-age matched normal people were as controls. This study was in a masked fashion.Results:①tPA activity was lower and PAI activity was higher in all of diabetic patients than those in controls (P<0. 001); ②tPA activity was lower and PAI activity was higher in proliferative DR (PDR) subgroup than those in non-DR (NDR) and background-DR (BDR) subgroups (P<0.01,respectively); ③there was no significant difference between BDR and NDR subgroups (P>0. 05); and ④the results also suggested that the | Du Zhenya, Jiang Deyong, Tan Jiaquan, Nie Aiguang, Tang ChaozhenDepartment of Ophthalmology, First Affiliated Hospital, Hunan Medical University Changsha 410008, ChinaDepartment of Ophthalmology, 2nd Affiliated Hospital, Hunan Medical University Changsha 410000,China | 1997 | 眼科学报1997,13,1: | 1
Coherent Phase-Coded Pulse Train with Doppler Cascade-Processing for Detection of Aircraft Target in a HF Radar显示文摘The effect of range-Dopper coupling caused by aircraft moving at very high speed makes trouble on selection of waveform parameters by using frequency-modulated interrupted continuous wave (FMICW) or frequency-coded pulse (FCP). It also limits the increasing of coherent intergration time. In this paper, application of coherent phase-coded pluse train (CPCPT) solves range-Doppler coupling well. Relevant processing of CPCPT consists of three parts: Dopper preprocessing, pulse compression, and Doppler post-processing. The velocity information obtained by Doppler preprocessing is used for better pulse compression and range tracking. Doppler post-processing with range tracking could make longer coherent accumulation for better detection of target and higher velocity resolution. Finally, examples of data simulation are given to demonstrate the achievements mentioned above. | Shen, Yiying Liu, Yongtan Wu, Aiguang | 1999 | Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics1999,10,3: | 0
Efficacy of luteolin on the human gastric cancer cell line MKN45 and underlying mechanism显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the antitumour efficacy of luteolin on gastric cancer(GC)and study the mechanism underpinning the action.METHODS:Effects of luteolin on cell growth inhibition, apoptosis, and cell cycle arrest in MKN45 cells were investigated using the cell counting kit-8 assay.Changes in the mitochondrial membrane potential after luteolin treatment were assessed using 5,5′,6,6’-tetra-chloro-1,1’,3,3’-tetraethy lbenzimidazolcar bocyanineiodi-de(JC-1)staining.To investigate whether apoptotic effect by luteolin is related to the phosphoinositide 3-kinase/v-akt murine thymoma viral oncogene(PI3K/Akt)pathway,cells were additionally treated with LY294002,a PI3K/Akt pathway inhibitor. Moreover, the expressions of apoptosis-related proteins, namely B-cell lymphoma 2(Bcl-2),Bcl-2 associated X protein(Bax),Akt,p-Akt,caspase-3,and cytochrome C,were detected after luteolin treatment.RESULTS:The study revealed that in MKN45 cells, luteolin could inhibit the cell proliferation in a time-and dose-dependent manner;block the cell cycle in the Sphase;induce apoptosis;reduce the mitochondrial membrane potential;increase the expression of Bax,caspase-3,and cytochrome C;and decrease the expression of Bcl-2 and p-Akt.Luteolin might be involved in the PI3K/Akt signalling pathway, indicating that this pathway could be a therapeutic target for GC treatment.CONCLUSION:Luteolin could inhibit the proliferation of GC cells and block the cell cycle in the S-phase.The mechanism of inducing apoptosis in these cells was related to the PI3K/Akt signalling pathway. | DING Yajie LIU Feng LI Zhaoyan Xu Yan CAO Nida ZHANG Guangao WANG Rui ZHAO Aiguang | 2023 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2023,43,1: | 0
Influencing factors and optimization on mechanical performance of solid waste-derived rapid repair mortar显示文摘There is a great demand for high performance rapid repair mortar(RRM)because of the wide use of cement concrete.Solid-waste-based sulfoaluminate cement(WSAC)is very suitable as a green cementitious material for repair materials because of its characteristics of high early-age strength and short setting time. However, the influence and optimization of various factors of WSAC-based RRM,such as water-to-RRM ratio,binder-to-sand ratio and additives,as well as the further solid waste replacement of aggregate, remain to be studied. This paper comprehensively studied the influence of the above factors on the performance of WSAC-based RRM and obtained a green high-performance RRM by optimizing these factors. The experimental results showed that the early and late strength of the obtained RRM is excellent, and the setting time and fluidity are appropriate, which reflected good mechanical properties and construction performance.Ordinary Portland cement(OPC)doping could not improve RRM strength. It was feasible to prepare RRM with gold tailing sand replacing part of the quartz sand. This paper provides data and a theoretical basis for the preparation of high-performance RRM based on solid waste, expanding the high value utilization of solid waste, which is conducive to the development of a low carbon society. | Jingwei Li Xiangshan Hou Aiguang Jia Xin Xiao Xujiang Wang Yonggang Yao Ziliang Zhang Wenlong Wang | 2023 | Waste Disposal and Sustainable Energy2023,5,2: | 0
Estimation of Larch Growth at the Stem,Crown, and Branch Levels Using Ground-Based LiDAR Point Cloud显示文摘Tree growth is an important indicator of forest health and can reflect changes in forest structure.Traditional tree growth estimates use easy-to-measure parameters, including tree height, diameter at breast height, and crown diameter, obtained via forest in situ measurements, which are labor intensive and time consuming. Some new technologies measure the diameter of trees at different positions to monitor the growth trend of trees, but it is difficult to take into account the growth changes at different tree levels. The combination of terrestrial laser scanning and quantitative structure modeling can accurately estimate tree structural parameters nondestructively and has the potential to estimate tree growth from different tree levels. In this context, this paper estimates tree growth from stem-,crown-,and branch-level attributes observed by terrestrial laser scanning.Specifically, tree height, diameter at breast height, stem volume, crown diameter, crown volume, and first-order branch volume were used to estimate the growth of 55-year-old larch trees in Saihanba of China,at the stem, crown, and branch levels. The experimental results showed that tree growth is mainly reflected in the growth of the crown,i.e.,the growth of branches.Compared to onedimensional parameter growth(tree height, diameter at breast height,or crown diameter),three-dimensional parameter growth(crown, stem, and first-order branch volumes)was more obvious,in which the absolute growth of the first-order branch volume is close to the stem volume. Thus,it is necessary to estimate tree growth at different levels for accurate forest inventory. | Shuangna Jin Wuming Zhang Jie Shao Peng Wan Shun Cheng Shangshu Cai Guangjian Yan Aiguang Li | 2022 | Journal of Remote Sensing2022,,1: | 0
