1Effect of local wound infiltration with ropivacaine on postoperative pain relief and stress response reduction after open hepatectomy显示文摘AIM To prospectively evaluate the effect of local wound infiltration with ropivacaine on postoperative pain relief and stress response reduction after open hepatectomy.METHODS A total of 56 patients undergoing open hepatectomy were randomly divided into two groups:a ropivacaine group(wound infiltration with ropivacaine solution)and a control group(infiltration with isotonic saline solution).A visual analog scale(VAS)at rest and on movement was used to measure postoperative pain for the first 48 h after surgery.Mean arterial pressure(MAP),heart rate(HR),time to bowel recovery,length of hospitalization after surgery,cumulative sufentanil consumption,and incidence of nausea and vomiting were compared between the two groups.Surgical stress hormones(epinephrine,norepinephrine,and cortisol)were detected using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay,and the results were compared. RESULTS VAS scores both at rest and on movement at 24 h and48 h were similar between the two groups.Significantly lower VAS scores were detected at 0,6,and 12 h in the ropivacaine group compared with the control group(P<0.05 for all).MAP was significantly lower at 6,12,and 24 h(P<0.05 for all);HR was significantly lower at 0,6,12,and 24 h(P<0.05 for all);time to bowel recovery and length of hospitalization after surgery(P<0.05 for both)were significantly shortened;and cumulative sufentanil consumption was significantly lower at 6,12,24,and 36 h(P<0.05 for all)in the ropivacaine group than in the control group,although the incidence of nausea and vomiting showed no significant difference between the two groups.The levels of epinephrine,norepinephrine,and cortisol were significantly lower in the ropivacaine group than in the control group at 24 and 48 h(P<0.01 for all). 2Extracellular vesicles from human urine-derived stem cells prevent osteoporosis by transferring CTHRC1 and OPG显示文摘Osteoporosis is a debilitating bone disease affecting millions of people. Here, we used human urine-derived stem cells(USCs),which were noninvasively harvested from unlimited and easily available urine, as a 'factory' to obtain extracellular vesicles(USCEVs) and demonstrated that the systemic injection of USC-EVs effectively alleviates bone loss and maintains bone strength in osteoporotic mice by enhancing osteoblastic bone formation and suppressing osteoclastic bone resorption. More importantly, the anti-osteoporotic properties of USC-EVs are not notably disrupted by the age, gender, or health condition(with or without osteoporosis) of the USC donor. Mechanistic studies determined that collagen triple-helix repeat containing 1(CTHRC1) and osteoprotegerin(OPG) proteins are enriched in USC-EVs and required for USC-EV-induced pro-osteogenic and anti-osteoclastic effects. 3Mercury isotope variations in surface soils in different contaminated areas in Guizhou Province,China显示文摘Guizhou Province is known as a heavily Hg-polluted area in China due to its special geochemical background and complicated Hg emission sources.In this study,we investigated the Hg isotope compositions of surface soil samples in the Hg mining area,zinc smelting area,coal combustion area,which are known to be the typical pollution regions of Hg in this province.We also compared the Hg isotopic fingerprints of primary Hg sources,such as hydrothermal Hg-bearing ores,coals and atmospheric Hg samples.According to our study,Hg stored in surface soils in different pollution regions in Guizhou Province displays a wide range of both mass dependent fractionation(MDF,δ202Hg) and mass independent fractionation(MIF,△199Hg).δ 202 Hg varies by 2.0‰ and △199Hg varies by 0.25‰ in the investigated surface soils.This study demonstrated that using a 'MDF-MIF' two dimensional Hg isotope system could be particularly useful in discriminating Hg sources in soils.FENG XinBin YIN RunSheng YU Ben DU BuYun 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,2:13
4The Change of the Inlet Geometry of a Centrifugal Compressor Stage and its Influence on the Compressor Performance显示文摘The impact on the compressor performance is important for designing the inlet pipe of the centrifugal compressor of a vehicle turbocharger with different inlet pipes. First, an experiment was performed to determine the compressor performance from three cases: a straight inlet pipe, a long bent inlet pipe and a short bent inlet pipe. Next, dynamic sensors were installed in key positions to collect the sign of the unsteady pressure of the centrifugal compressor. Combined with the results of numerical simulations, the total pressure distortion in the pipes, the pressure distributions on the blades and the pressure variability in the diffuser are studied in detail. The results can be summarized as follows: a bent pipe results in an inlet distortion to the compressor, which leads to performance degradation, and the effect is more apparent as the mass flow rate increases. The distortion induced by the bent inlet is not only influenced by the distance between the outlet of the bent section and the leading edge of the impeller but also by the impeller rotation. The flow fields in the centrifugal impeller and the diffuser are influenced by a coupling effect produced by the upstream inlet distortion and the downstream blocking effect from the volute tongue. 5Flame-retardant concentrated electrolyte enabling a Li F-rich solid electrolyte interface to improve cycle performance of wide-temperature lithium–sulfur batteries显示文摘Lithium–sulfur batteries have been regarded as the most promising high-energy electrochemical energy storage device owing to the high energy density, low cost and environmental friendliness. However, traditional lithium–sulfur batteries using ether-based electrolytes often suffer from severe safety risks(i.e. combustion). Herein, we demonstrated a novel kind of flame-retardant concentrated electrolyte(6.5 M lithium bis(trifluoromethylsulphonyl)imide/fluoroethylene carbonate) for highly-safe and widetemperature lithium–sulfur batteries. It was found that such concentrated electrolyte showed superior flame retardancy, high lithium-ion transference number(0.69) and steady lithium plating/stripping behavior(2.5 m Ah cm^(-2) over 3000 h). Moreover, lithium–sulfur batteries using this flame-retardant concentrated electrolyte delivered outstanding cycle performance in a wide range of temperatures(-10 °C, 25 °C and 90 °C). This superior battery performance is mainly attributed to the LiF-rich solid electrolyte interphase formed on lithium metal anode, which can effectively suppress the continuous growth of lithium dendrites. 7Algebraic encoding scheme for aperture 3 hexagonal discrete global grid system显示文摘Discrete Global Grid Systems(DGGSs) are spatial references that use a hierarchical tessellation of cells to partition and address the entire globe. They provide an organizational structure that permits fast integration between multiple sources of large and variable geospatial data sufficient for visualization and analysis. Despite a significant body of research supporting hexagonal DGGSs as the superior choice, the application thereof has been hindered owing in part to the lack of a rational hierarchy with an efficient addressing system. This paper presents an algebraic model of encoding scheme for the Aperture 3 Hexagonal(A3H) DGGS. Firstly, the definition of a grid cell, which is composed of vertices, edges, and a center, is introduced to describe fundamental elements of grids. Secondly, by identifying the grid cell with its center, this paper proves that cell centers at different levels can be represented exactly using a mixed positional number system in the complex plane through the recursive geometric relationship between two successive levels, which reveals that grid cells are essentially special complex radix numbers. Thirdly, it is shown that through the recursive geometric relationship of successive odd or even levels, the mixed positional number system can also be applied to uniquely represent cell centers at different levels under specific constraint conditions, according to which the encoding scheme is designed. Finally, it is shown that by extending the scheme to 20 triangular faces of the regular icosahedron,multi-resolution grids on closed surfaces of the icosahedron are addressed perfectly. Contrast experiments show that the proposed encoding scheme has the advantages of theoretical rigor and high programming efficiency and that the efficiency of cross-face adjacent cell searching is 242.9 times that of a similar scheme. Moreover, the proposed complex radix number representation is an ideal formalized description tool for grid systems. 9Flame-retardant quasi-solid polymer electrolyte enabling sodium metal batteries with highly safe characteristic and superior cycling stability显示文摘Con ventio nal liquid electrolytes based sodium metal batteries suffer from severe safety hazards owing to electrolyte leakage,in flammability and dendritic sodium deposit!on.Herein,we report a flame-retardant quasi-solid polymer electrolyte with poly(methyl vinyl ether-alt-maleic an hydride)(P(MVE-alt-MA))as host,bacterial cellulose(BC)as reinforceme nt,and triethyl phosphate/vinyle ne carb on ate/sodium perchlorate(TEP/VC/NaClO4)as plasticizer for highly safe sodium metal batteries.The as-obtained quasi-solid polymer electrolyte exhibits superior flame retardancy(self-extinguish within 1 s),complete non-leakage property and wide electrochemical windows(4.4 V).More importantly,Na3V2(PO4)3/Na metal batteries using such polymer electrolyte delivers superior I on g-term cycli ng stability(84.4%capacity rete ntion after 1000 cycles)which is significantly better than that(only 2%after 240 cycles)of liquid electrolyte.In addition,this flame-retardant quasi-solid polymer electrolyte provides favorable cycle performance(80.2%capacity retention after 70 cycles at 50°C and 84.8%capacity retention after 50 cycles at-10°C)for Na3V2(PO4)3/Na metal batteries.And this battery also displayed a normal charge/discharge property even at-15°C.These fascinating cycle properties are mainly ascribed to the effective pro怕ctive layers formed on Na3V2(PC>4)3 cathode and sodium metal ano de.More thorough in vestigati on elucidates that such flame-retardant quasi-solid polymer electrolyte plays a multif unctional role in the adva need sodium metal batteries:(1)being in volved in the formatio n of a favorable cathode electrolyte in terface(CEI)to inhibit the dissolutio n of van adium and maintai n the structure integrity of the Na3V2(PO4)3;(2)participati ng in building a stable solid electrolyte in terface(SEI)to suppress the growth of Na dendrites;(3)integrating flame-retardanee into polymer sodium batteries to enhance flame-resistanee,eliminate electrolyte leakage,and thus improve safety of sodium batteries.Based on these results,we further assembled Na3V2(PO4)3/MoS2 pouch cell which can withsta nd harsh conditions(be nded or cut off a corn er),confirming the obtai ned polymer electrolyte with superior non-leakage property.In all,these outstanding characteristics would endow this flame-retardant quasi-solid polymer electrolyte a very promising can didate for highly-safe sodium metal batteries.Jinfeng Yang Min Zhang Zheng Chen Xiaofan Du Suqi Huang Ben Tang Tiantian Dong Han Wu Zhe Yu Jianjun Zhang Guanglei Cui 2019Nano Research2019,12,9:4

11Investigation on Centrifugal Impeller in an Axial-radial Combined Compressor with Inlet Distortion显示文摘Assembling an axial rotor and a stator at centrifugal compressor upstream to build an axial-radial combined compressor could achieve high pressure ratio and efficiency by appropriate size augment.Then upstream potential flow and wake effect appear at centrifugal impeller inlet.In this paper,the axial-radial compressor is unsteadily simulated by three-dimensional Reynolds averaged Navier-Stokes equations with uniform and circumferential distorted total pressure inlet condition to investigate upstream effect on radial rotor.The results show that spanwise nonuniform total pressure distribution is generated and radial and circumferential combined distortion is formed at centrifugal rotor inlet.The upstream stator wake deflects to rotor rotation direction and decreases with blade span increases.Circumferential distortion causes different separated flow formations at different pitch positions.The tip leakage vortex is suppressed in centrifugal blade passages.Under distorted inlet condition,flow direction of centrifugal impeller leading edge upstream varies evidently near hub and shroud but varies slightly at mid-span.In addition,compressor stage inlet distortion produces remarkable effect on blade loading of centrifugal blade both along chordwise and pitchwise.Du Li Ce Yang Ben Zhao Mi Zhou Mingxu Qi Jizhong Zhang 2011Journal of Thermal Science2011,20,6:3
12A novel method of determining the optimal polyhedral orientation for discrete global grid systems applicable to regionalscale areas of interest显示文摘The polyhedral discrete global grid system(DGGS)is a multi-resolution discrete earth reference model supporting the fusion and processing of multi-source geospatial information.The orientation of the polyhedron relative to the earth is one of its key design choices,used when constructing the grid system,as the efficiency of indexing will decrease if local areas of interest extend over multiple faces of the spherical polyhedron.To date,most research has focused on global-scale applications while almost no rigorous mathematical models have been established for determining orientation parameters.In this paper,we propose a method for determining the optimal polyhedral orientation of DGGSs for areas of interest on a regional scale.The proposed method avoids splitting local or regional target areas across multiple polyhedral faces.At the same time,it effectively handles geospatial data at a global scale because of the inherent characteristics of DGGSs.Results show that the orientation determined by this method successfully guarantees that target areas are located at the center of a single polyhedral face.The orientation process determined by this novel method reduces distortions and is more adaptable to different geographical areas,scales,and base polyhedrons than those employed by existing procedures.Jianbin Zhou Jin Ben Rui Wang Mingyang Zheng Xiaochuang Yao Lingyu Du 2020International Journal of Digital Earth2020,13,12:2
13Facile Synthesis of Functional Poly(methyltriazolylcarboxylate)s by Solvent-and Catalyst-free Butynoate-Azide Polycycloaddition显示文摘The copper-catalyzed and metal-free azide-alkyne click polymerizations have become efficient tools for polymer synthesis. However,the 1,3-dipolar polycycloadditions between internal alkynes and azides are rarely employed to construct functional polymers. Herein, the polycycloadditions of dibutynoate(1) and tetraphenylethene-containing diazides(2) were carried out at 100 °C for 12 h under solvent-and catalyst-free conditions, producing soluble poly(methyltriazolylcarboxylate)s(PMTCs) with high molecular weights in high yields. The resultant polymers were thermally stable with 5% weight loss temperatures up to 377 °C. The PMTCs showed aggregation-induced emission(AIE)properties. They could work as fluorescent sensors for detecting explosive with high sensitivity, and generate two-dimensional fluorescent photopatterns with high resolution. 17Surface and optical properties of silicon nitride deposited by inductively coupled plasma-chemical vapor deposition显示文摘The surface and optical properties of silicon nitride samples with different compositions were investigated. The samples were deposited on In P by inductively coupled plasma chemical vapor deposition using different NH_3 flow rates. Atomic force microscopy measurements show that the surface roughness is increased for the samples with both low and high NH_3 flow rates. By optimization, when the NH_3 flow rate is 6 sccm, a smooth surface with RMS roughness of 0.74 nm over a 5 × 5 μm^2 area has been achieved. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy measurements reveal the Si/N ratio of the samples as a function of NH_3 flow rate. It is found that amorphous silicon is dominant in the samples with low NH_3 flow rates, which is also proved in Raman measurements. The bonding energies of the Si and N atoms have been extracted and analyzed. 18Synthesis and properties of nickel borate acylate as a new rubber-steel cord adhesion promoter显示文摘The synthetic method of nickel borate acylate (NBA), a kind of rubber steel cord adhesion promoter (AP), through nickel carbonate, borate and mixed carboxylic acid was studied. The preparation of nickel carbonate could be performed through reaction of nickel sulfate with sodium carbonate in aqueous solution, in which fractional conversion of nickel was more than 99.9%. The mixed nickel carboxylate was prepared by the reaction of nickel carbonate with isooctanoic acid and acetic acid, under strong stirring for 2 h, the mole ratio of these chemicals were 1∶1∶1.1 respectively, and water should be removed completely by adding of inert organic solvent after reaction was finished so as to avoid hydrolysis of tributyl borate in the second reaction. NBA was synthesized by reaction of mixed nickel carboxylate with tributyl borate under strong stirring at 200 250 ℃ for 6 h. By detection and comparison with 680C product from Manobond Company of England, the NBA synthesized through isooctanoic acid and tributyl borate was very similar to product 680C in IR data, 300% fixed extension strength, tensile strength, hardness and cure curve, and was slightly lower than those of product 680C in tensile failure extensibility and hot air aging. 19Highly compact and uniform CH3NH3Sn0.5Pb0.5I3 films for efficient panchromatic planar perovskite solar cells显示文摘An efficient panchromatic planar perovskite solar cell is developed based on highly uniform,lead-reduced CH3NH3Sn0.5Pb0.5I3 perovskite films with full film-coverage on the substrates.We demonstrate here that full-coverage of the CH3NH3Sn0.5Pb0.5I3 films can be developed by a facile chlorobenzene-assisted spin-coating method.A power conversion efficiency of 7 % is achieved using low-temperature processes,which is among the best-reported performance for panchromatic planar perovskite solar cells with a light-absorption over 1,000 nm.Miaoqiang Lyu Meng Zhang Nathan A.
