| 4 | Occurrence of perfluoroalkyl substances in matched human serum,urine,hair and nail显示文摘The purpose of this study was to determine perfluoroalkyl substances(PFASs) in human serum, urine, hair and nail from general populations, and to investigate the possibility for human urine, hair and nail used as the biomonitoring sample for PFASs exposure. We detected the concentrations of PFHx A, PFOA, PFNA, PFDA, PFUn DA, PFDo A, PFHx S and PFOS in 39 matched human serum, urine, hair and nail samples from Shenzhen in China. The detection frequency and the median level of PFOS were all higher than that of the other PFASs in four matrices. The median concentration of PFOS in serum, urine, hair, and nail were 9.24 ng/mL, 13.96 ng/L, 0.58 ng/g and 0.63 ng/g, respectively. | 7 | Psychophysiological Effects of Bamboo Plants on Adults显示文摘The present study was conducted to clarify the psychophysiological relaxation effects of viewing bamboo on university students. Forty healthy Chinese participants enrolled in this study to clarify the psychophysiological relaxation effects of viewing bamboo. The effects of visual stimulation using a pot both with and without a bamboo were recorded by measuring the student's blood pressure, EEG and STAI. We observed that viewing bamboo plants resulted in significantly lower systolic(female, P < 0.001; male, P < 0.001; P < 0.05) and diastolic(female,P < 0.001; male, P < 0.001; P < 0.05) blood pressures, but no changes in the pulse rate(female, P = 0.09; male, P = 0.07; P > 0.05) were observed. The results of the EEG analysis indicated brainwave variation(all P < 0.05) and lower anxiety scores(P < 0.01) after 3 min of viewing bamboo compared with the control. | 12 | Ethyl Acetate Fraction of Dicliptera chinensis(L.)Juss.Ameliorates Liver Fibrosis by Inducing Autophagy via PI3K/AKT/m TOR/p70S6K Signaling Pathways显示文摘Objective:To investigate the molecular mechanism underlying the anti-hepatic fibrosis activity of ethyl acetate fraction Dicliptera chinensis(L.)Juss.(EDC)in human hepatic stellate cells(HSCs)in vitro and in a carbon tetrachloride(CCl4)-induced hepatic fibrosis mouse model in vivo.Methods:For in vitro study,HSCs were pre-treated with platelet-derived growth factor(10 ng/mL)for 2 h to ensure activation and treated with EDC for 24 h and 48 h,respectively.The effect of EDC on HSCs was assessed using cell counting kit-8 assay,EdU staining,transmission electron microscopy,immunofluorescence staining,and Western blot,respectively.For in vivo experiments,mice were intraperitoneally injected with CCl4(2μL/g,adjusted to a 25%concentration in olive oil),3 times per week for 6 weeks,to develop a hepatic fibrosis model.Forty 8-week-old male C57 BL/6 mice were divided into 4 groups using a random number table(n=10),including control,model,positive control and EDC treatment groups.Mice in the EDC and colchicine groups were intragastrically administered EDC(0.5 g/kg)or colchicine(0.2 mg/kg)once per day for 6 weeks.Mice in the control and model groups received an equal volume of saline.Biochemical assays and histological examinations were used to assess liver damage.Protein expression levels ofα-smooth muscle actin(α-SMA)and microtubule-associated protein light chain 3 B(LC3 B)were measured by Western blot.Results:EDC reduced pathological damage associated with liver fibrosis,downregulated the expression ofα-SMA and upregulated the expression of LC3 B(P<0.05),both in HSCs and the CCl4-induced liver fibrosis mouse model.The intervention of bafilomycin A1 and rapamycin in HSCs strongly supported the notion that inhibition of autophagy enhancedα-SMA protein expression levels(P<0.01).The results also found that the levels of phosphoinositide(PI3 K),p-PI3 K,AKT,p-AKT,mammalian target of rapamycin(mTOR),p-mTOR,and p-p70 S6 K all decreased after EDC treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion:EDC has anti-hepatic fibrosis activity by inducing autophagy and might be a potential drug to be further developed for human liver fibrosis therapy. | LIU Yuan BI Yan-meng PAN Ting ZENG Ting MO Chan SUN Bing GAO Lei LYU Zhi-ping | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Integrative Medicine2022,28,1: | 3 |
| 13 | Comprehensively-modified polymer electrolyte membranes with multifunctional PMIA for highly-stable all-solid-state lithium-ion batteries显示文摘Polyethylene oxide(PEO)-based electrolytes have obvious merits such as strong ability to dissolve salts(e.g.,LiTFSI)and high flexibility,but their applications in solid-state batteries is hindered by the low ion conductance and poor mechanical and thermal properties.Herein,poly(m-phenylene isophthalamide)(PMIA)is employed as a multifunctional additive to improve the overall properties of the PEO-based electrolytes.The hydrogen-bond interactions between PMIA and PEO/TFSI-can effectively prevent the PEO crystallization and meanwhile facilitate the LiTFSI dissociation,and thus greatly improve the ionic conductivity(two times that of the pristine electrolyte at room temperature).With the incorporation of the high-strength PMIA with tough amide-benzene backbones,the PMIA/PEO-LiTFSI composite polymer electrolyte(CPE)membranes also show much higher mechanical strength(2.96 MPa),thermostability(4190℃)and interfacial stability against Li dendrites(468 h at 0.10 mA cm-2)than the pristine electrolyte(0.32 MPa,364℃and short circuit after 246 h).Furthermore,the CPE-based LiFePO4/Li cells exhibit superior cycling stability(137 mAh g^-1 with 93%retention after 100 cycles at 0.5 C)and rate performance(123 mAh g^-1 at 1.0 C).This work provides a novel and effective CPE structure design strategy to achieve comprehensively-upgraded electrolytes for promising solid-state battery applications. | Lehao Liu Jinshan Mo Jingru Li Jinxin Liu Hejin Yan Jing Lyu Bing Jiang Lihua Chu Meicheng Li | 2020 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,9: | 3 |

| 15 | Vibrio parahaemolyticus O10:K4:An Emergent Serotype with Pandemic Virulence Traits as Predominant Clone Detected by Whole-Genome Sequence Analysis--Beijing Municipality,China,2021显示文摘Introduction:Vibrio parahaemolyticus(V.parahaemolyticus)is a common foodborne pathogen which causes gastroenteritis in humans,especially the O3:K6 pandemic clone which is still a prominent serotype in Beijing,China.In this study,we observed a novel serotype O10:K4 isolated from clinical diarrhea cases,which became the most prevalent clone in 2021.Methods:73 clinical isolates were collected through sentinel hospitals’surveillance in 2021.Serum agglutination testing and antimicrobial susceptibility testing were conducted.Whole genome sequencing was applied to characterize 73 V.parahaemolyticus strains and complete phylogenetic analysis.Results:Seven serotypes were identified among 73 strains.O10:K4 was the most common serotype(83.6%),followed by O2:KUT,O4:KUT,and O1:KUT.Multilocus sequence typing divided the 73 isolates into 10 sequence types(STs)with ST3 as the most prevalent,which covered all O10:K4 strains.Most isolates were sensitive to common antimicrobial agents apart from colistin.All the O10:K4 isolates were positive for the thermostable direct hemolysin gene,toxRS/new,and orf8,and negative for the TDH-related hemolysin gene.The whole genome sequencing-single nucleotide polymorphism phylogenetic analysis revealed O10:K4 strains formed a main genetic lineage,which was genetically distinct from other serotypes.We also demonstrated the presence of two type III secretion system genes(T3SS1 and T3SS2)andβlactamase resistance gene blaCARB-22 in all O10:K4 strains.Conclusions:The study confirmed the emergence of V.parahaemolyticus O10:K4 possessing virulence factors similar to the O3:K6 pandemic clone,which may have enabled them to become prevalent in Beijing,China. | Ying Huang Bing Lyu Xin Zhang Yi Tian Changying Lin Lingyu Shen Hanqiu Yan Daitao Zhang Lei Jia Mei Qu Quanyi Wang | 2022 | China CDC weekly2022,4,22: | 2 |
