The model defines the four components of unstructured data including: basic attributes, semantic characteristics, low-level features and raw data on its four facets, and the relations between these components. The internal implementation structure of the model and the data query language are designed and briefly introduced. This model provides a unified, integrated and associated description for different kinds of unstructured data, and supports intelligent data services such as associated retrieval and data mining. | 6 | Measuring Similarity of Academic Articles with Semantic Profile and Joint Word Embedding显示文摘Long-document semantic measurement has great significance in many applications such as semantic searchs, plagiarism detection, and automatic technical surveys. However, research efforts have mainly focused on the semantic similarity of short texts. Document-level semantic measurement remains an open issue due to problems such as the omission of background knowledge and topic transition. In this paper, we propose a novel semantic matching method for long documents in the academic domain. To accurately represent the general meaning of an academic article, we construct a semantic profile in which key semantic elements such as the research purpose, methodology, and domain are included and enriched. As such, we can obtain the overall semantic similarity of two papers by computing the distance between their profiles. The distances between the concepts of two different semantic profiles are measured by word vectors. To improve the semantic representation quality of word vectors, we propose a joint word-embedding model for incorporating a domain-specific semantic relation constraint into the traditional context constraint. | 7 | ANTI-HYPOXIA AND ANTI-OXIDATION EFFECTS OF AMINOPHYLLINE ON HUMAN WITH ACUTE HIGH-ALTITUDE EXPOSURE显示文摘Objective To investigate the anti-hypoxia and anti-oxidation effects of aminophylline on human with acute high- altitude exposure. Methods Totally 100 young male army members newly recruited from Sichuan province (400 meters above sea level) were enrolled. They were randomly divided into two groups: 50 in aminophylline group (A group) and 50 in control group (C group). A group and C group orally took aminophylline and placebo respectively for 10 days, 7 days before entering Lhasa (3 658 meters above sea level) by air and 3 days after it. Several parameters were measured at three time points: before drug taken, 7 days after drug taken, and 3 days after ascending high altitude. These parameters included serum levels of nitric oxide (NO), superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), hydrogen dioxide (H2O2), lactic acid (LA), as well as arterial oxygen saturation (SO2), arterial oxygen partial pressure (PaO2), and arterial carbon dioxide partial pressure (PaCO2). Statistical analysis was conducted to compare the difference between two groups with Stata 7.0 software system. Results There were no statistical differences between groups in hypoxia and oxidation indicators before and after drug taken in plain area. Three days after ascending high altitude, the serum levels of SOD, CAT, H2O2, LA, PaCO2 increased in both groups, yet to a much larger degree in C group than A group (P<0.01); and NO, SO2, PaO2 decreased more markedly in C group (P<0.05 for NO, P<0.0001 for SO2 and PaO2). | 9 | A computational trust model for access control in P2P显示文摘Trust brings a new method for building scalable and fine-grained access control mechanism in P2P systems. The quantificational expression of trust and the calculation of trust in a trust network are the basis of trust degree based access control. In this paper, the properties of trust is analyzed by referring to the fruits from social science; the semantics of trust in the context of access control is described, and a trust degree based access control model named TDBAC is introduced. Basing on the properties and semantics of trust, a computational trust model which includes a multilevel comprehensive evaluation method for expressing direct trust and calculators for computing recommended trust is put forward. To compute trust in a trust network, an algorithm that transforms a trust network to a computable expression is given. | 10 | Synthesis of amino-silane modified magnetic silica adsorbents and application for adsorption of flavonoids from Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch显示文摘Magnetic separation technology was applied in the separation of flavonoids from the licorice root in this work. Licorice flavonoids (LF) displayed a remarkable array of biological and pharmacological activities. The magnetic adsorbents with functional -NH2 groups were synthesized by immobilization of amino-silane on the surface of the magnetic silica supports, which were prepared by co-precipitation method. The adsorption and desorption characteristics of the magnetic adsorbents for the separation of LF have been evaluated. The purity of an enriched extract with this method was 16.7% while the crude extract only had about 6.8% purity. Therefore, it can be concluded that these kinds of magnetic adsorbents have selectivity to the flavonoids to some extent. | 11 | Ischemia/hypoxia inhibits cardiomyocyte autophagy and promotes apoptosis via the Egr-1/Bim/Beclin-1 pathway显示文摘Background Myocardial injury caused by microvascular obstruction(MVO)is characterized by persistent ischemia/hypoxia(IH)of cardiomyocytes after microembolization.Autophagy and Egr-1 were closely associated with various cardiovascular diseases,including MVO.Bim and Beclin-1 are the important genes for autophagy and apoptosis.We aimed to explore whether the Egr-1/Bim/Beclin-1 pathway is involved in regulating autophagy and apoptosis in IH-exposed cardiomyocytes.Methods Neonatal rat cardiomyocytes exposed to the IH environment in vitro were transfected with lentivirus expressing Egr-1 or Egr-1 sh RNA,or further treated with 3-methyladenine(3-MA).The expressions of autophagy and apoptosis-associated genes were evaluated using RT-q PCR and Western blots assays.Autophagic vacuoles and autophagic flux were detected by transmission electron microscopy(TEM)and confocal microscope,respectively.Cell injury was assessed by lactate dehydrogenase(LDH)leakage,and apoptosis was determined by flow cytometry.Results IH exposure elevated Egr-1 and Bim expressions,and decreased Beclin-1 expression in rat cardiomyocytes.Egr-1 overexpression in IH-exposed cardiomyocytes significantly up-regulated the levels of Egr-1 and Bim,and down-regulated the level of Beclin-1.Egr-1 knockdown resulted in down-regulated expressions of Egr-1 and Bim,as well as up-regulated expression of Beclin-1.In addition,Egr-1 knockdown induced autophagy was suppressed by 3-MA treatments.TEM and autophagic flux experiments also confirmed that Egr-1 inhibited autophagy progression in IH-exposed cardiomyocytes.Egr-1 suppression protected cardiomyocytes from IH-induced injury,as evidenced by the positive correlations between Egr-1 expression and LDH leakage or apoptosis index in IH-exposed cardiomyocytes.Conclusions IH-induced cardiomyocyte autophagy and apoptosis are regulated by the Egr-1/Bim/Beclin-1 pathway,which is a potential target for treating cardiomyocyte injury caused by MVO in the IH environment. | Bo SU Xian-Tao WANG Yu-Han SUN Man-Yun LONG Jing ZHENG Wen-Hao WU Lang LI | 2020 | Journal of Geriatric Cardiology2020,17,5: | 4 |
| 12 | LIN28 coordinately promotes nucleolar/ribosomal functions and represses the 2C-like transcriptional program in pluripotent stem cells显示文摘LIN28 is an RNA binding protein with important roles in early embryo development,stem cell differentiation/re-programming,tumorigenesis and metabolism.Previous studies have focused mainly on its role in the cytosol where it interacts with Let-7 microRNA precursors or mRNAs,and few have addressed LIN28's role within the nucleus.Here,we show that LIN28 displays dynamic temporal and spatial expression during murine embryo development.Maternal LIN28 expression drops upon exit from the 2-cell stage,and zygotic LIN28 protein is induced at the forming nucleolus during 4-cell to blas-tocyst stage development,to become dominantly expressed in the cytosol after implantation.In cultured pluripotent stem cells(PSCs),loss of LIN28 led to nucleolar stress and activation of a 2-cell/4-cell-like transcriptional program characterized by the expression of endogenous retrovirus genes.Mechanistically,LIN28 binds to small nucleolar RNAs and rRNA to maintain nucleolar integrity,and its loss leads to nucleolar phase separation defects,ribosomal stress and activation of P53 which in turn binds to and activates 2C transcription factor Dux.LIN28 also resides in a complex containing the nucleolar factor Nucleolin(NCL)and the transcrip-tional repressor TRIM28,and LIN28 loss leads to reduced occupancy of the NCL/TRIM28 complex on the Dux and rDNA loci,and thus de-repressed Dux and reduced rRNA expression.Lin28 knockout cells with nucleolar stress are more likely to assume a slowly cycling,translationally inert and anabolically inactive state,which is a part of previously unappreciated 2C-like transcriptional program.These findings elucidate novel roles for nucleolar LIN28 in PSCs,and a new mechanism linking 2C program and nucleolar functions in PSCs and early embryo development. | Zhen Sun Hua Yu Jing Zhao Tianyu Tan Hongru Pan Yuqing Zhu Lang Chen Cheng Zhang Li Zhang Anhua Lei Yuyan Xu Xianju Bi Xin Huang Bo Gao Longfei Wang Cristina Correia Ming Chen Qiming Sun Yu Feng Li Shen Hao Wu Jianlong Wang Xiaohua Shen George Q.Daley Hu Li Jin Zhang | 2022 | Protein & Cell2022,13,7: | 4 |
| 13 | Urban-rural disparities in mild cognitive impairment and its functional subtypes among community- dwelling older residents in central China显示文摘background Substantial variations in the prevalence of mild cognitive impairment(MCI)and its subtypes have been reported,although mostly in geographically defined developed countries and regions.Less is known about MCI and its subtypes in rural areas of less developed central China.Aims The study aimed to compare the prevalence of MCI and its subtypes in residents aged 65 years or older in urban and rural areas of Hubei Province,China.Methods Participants aged 65 years or older were recruited between 2018 and 2019.Inperson structured interviews and clinical and neuropsychological assessments were performed at city health community centres and township hospitals.results Among 2644 participants without dementia,735 had MCI,resulting in a prevalence of 27.8%for total MCI,20.9%for amnestic MCI(aMCI)and 6.9%for non-amnestic MCI(naMCI).The prevalence of MCI in urban and rural areas was 20.2%and 44.1%,respectively.After adjusting for demographic factors,the prevalence of total MCI,aMCI and naMCI differed significantly between rural and urban areas(adjusted odds ratio(OR)2.10,1.44 and 3.76,respectively).Subgroup analysis revealed an association between rural socioeconomic and lifestyle disadvantage and MCI and its subtypes.Conclusions Our findings suggest that the prevalence of MCI among urban residents in central China is consistent with that in other metropolis areas,such as Shanghai,but the prevalence in rural areas is twice that in urban areas.Prospective studies and dementia prevention in China should focus on rural areas. | Dan Liu Lin Li Lina An Guirong Cheng Cong Chen Mingjun Zou Bo Zhang Xuguang Gan Lang Xu Yangming Ou Qingming Wu Ru Wang Yan Zeng | 2021 | General Psychiatry2021,34,5: | 3 |
