Fine mapping of the rice bacterial blight resistance gene Xa-4 and its co-segregation marker显示文摘An F2 population developed from the Xa-4 near isogenic lines, IR24 and IRBB4, was used for fine mapping of the rice bacterial blight resistance gene, Xa-4. Some restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) markers on the high-density map constructed by Harushima et al. and the amplified DMA fragments homologous to the conserved domains of plant disease resistance (R) genes were used to construct the genetic linkage map around the gene Xa-4 by scoring susceptible individuals in the population. Xa-4 was mapped between the RFLP marker G181 and the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) marker M55. The R gene homologous fragment marker RS13 was found co-segregating with Xa-4 by analyzing all the plants in the population. This result opened an approach to map-based cloning of this gene, and marker RS13 can be applied to molecular marker-assisted selection of Xa-4 in rice breeding programs.WANG Wenming ZHOU Yongli JIANG Guanhuai MA Bojun CHEN Xuewei ZHANG Qi ZHU Lihuang ZHAI Wenxue 2000Chinese Science Bulletin2000,45,19:4
Searching for the Nano-Hertz Stochastic Gravitational Wave Background with the Chinese Pulsar Timing Array Data ReleaseⅠ显示文摘Observing and timing a group of millisecond pulsars with high rotational stability enables the direct detection of gravitational waves(GWs).The GW signals can be identified from the spatial correlations encoded in the times-of-arrival of widely spaced pulsar-pairs.The Chinese Pulsar Timing Array(CPTA)is a collaboration aiming at the direct GW detection with observations carried out using Chinese radio telescopes. This short article serves as a“table of contents”for a forthcoming series of papers related to the CPTA Data Release 1(CPTA DR1)which uses observations from the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope. Here, after summarizing the time span and accuracy of CPTA DR1,we report the key results of our statistical inference finding a correlated signal with amplitude logA_(c)=-14.4_(-2.8)^(+1.0)for spectral index in the range ofα∈[-1.8,1.5]assuming a GW background(GWB)induced quadrupolar correlation. The search for the Hellings–Downs(HD)correlation curve is also presented, where some evidence for the HD correlation has been found that a 4.6σstatistical significance is achieved using the discrete frequency method around the frequency of 14 n Hz.We expect that the future International Pulsar Timing Array data analysis and the next CPTA data release will be more sensitive to the n Hz GWB,which could verify the current results.Heng Xu Siyuan Chen Yanjun Guo Jinchen Jiang Bojun Wang Jiangwei Xu Zihan Xue RNicolas Caballero Jianping Yuan Yonghua Xu Jingbo Wang Longfei Hao Jingtao Luo Kejia Lee Jinlin Han Peng Jiang Zhiqiang Shen Min Wang Na Wang Renxin Xu Xiangping Wu Richard Manchester Lei Qian Xin Guan Menglin Huang Chun Sun Yan Zhu 2023Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics2023,23,7:3
MULTI-TILLERING DWARF1, a new allele of BRITTLE CULM 12, affects plant height and tiller in rice显示文摘Plant height and tillering are crucial factors determining rice plant architecture and influencing rice grain production. In this study, multi-tillering dwarf1(mtd1), a stable multi-tiller and dwarf mutant, was screened from the ethylmethane sulfonate-treated japonica rice variety Wuyunging7. Compared with the wild type, mtd1 mutant exhibited pleiotropic phenotypes, including dwarfism, more tillers, brittle culms and delayed heading date.By employing map-based cloning strategy, the gene MTD1 was finally mapped to an approximately 66-kb region on the short arm of chromosome 9. Sequencing results showed that the gene LOC_Os09g02650(BC12) in mtd1 mutant had a single nucleotide substitution(G to A), which generated a premature translation stop. Over-expressing MTD1/BC12 coding sequence rescued all the phenotypes of mtd1 mutants including plant height and tillers, which confirms that BC12 is the mutated gene in mtd1 mutant.Quantitative reverse transcription-PCR analysis showed that MTD1/BC12 could negatively regulate the expression of MONOCULM 1, IDEAL PLANT ARCHITECTURE1 and Tillering and Dwarf 1, and control rice tillering. Remarkably, a-amylase activity analysis and gibberellic acid(GA)treatment showed that the dwarf phenotype of mtd1 mutant was dependent on GA biosynthesis pathway. These results facilitated to further uncover the molecular mechanism of the growth and development in rice.Haiping Yu Deyong Ren Yangzhou Zhu Jiangmin Xu Yuexing Wang Ruifang Liu Yunxia Fang Zhenyuan Shi Jiangjie Pan Mei Lu Bojun Ma Jiang Hu Yuchun Rao 2016Science Bulletin2016,61,23:3

Description of squeezed surface plasmons显示文摘Surface plasmon polaritons (SPPs) are the combined electron oscillations and electromagnetic waves propagating along the interface between a conductor and a dielectric. Recently Huck et al. [Huck A, et al. Phys Rev Lett, 2009, 102: 246802] proved that SPPs can be in a squeezed state, and the squeezed surface plasmons can propagate in a gold waveguide. In this paper, we introduce a quantum mechanical description of the squeezed surface plasmons at first, and discuss the influence of the waveguide losses on the squeezed surface plasmons.YANG LiHua WANG YongGang YANG BoJun 2011Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2011,54,9:2

Effects of Different Flue-curing Technologies on Submicroscopic Structure of Flue-cured Tobacco Leaves显示文摘[Objective]This study aimed to compare the effects of low-temperature low-humidity tobacco flue-curing technology,moderate-temperature moderatehumidity tobacco flue-curing technology and moderate-temperature high-humidity tobacco flue-curing technology on submicroscopic structure of flue-cured tobacco leaves to provide theoretical basis for tobacco flue-curing. [Method] Middle leaves of tobacco cultivar K326 were collected in Pengshui County of Chongqing City for flue-curing experiment using three flue-curing technologies. Leaf samples were collected regularly in the flue-curing process,to investigate the submicroscopic structure of flue-cured tobacco leaves. [Result]Morphology changes and structural rupture of chloroplasts occurred at different time during three flue-curing processes. In low-temperature low-humidity flue-curing process, morphology changes and structural rupture of chloroplasts occurred late but rapidly; in moderate-temperature moderate-humidity flue-curing process and moderate-temperature high-humidity flue-curing process, morphology changes and structural rupture of chloroplasts occurred early but slowly. Among these three flue-curing processes, the speed of changes in mitochondria morphology, cristae number and membrane rupture presented an upward order of low-temperature low-humidity flue-curing process < moderate-temperature high-humidity flue-curing process < moderate-temperature moderate-humidity flue-curing process. In low-temperature low-humidity flue-curing process, starch granules in chloroplasts ruptured after flue-curing for 36- 48 h;in moderate-temperature moderate-humidity flue-curing process, starch granules in chloroplasts ruptured after flue-curing for 24- 36 h; in moderate-temperature high-humidity flue-curing process, starch granules in chloroplasts ruptured after flue-curing for 12- 24 h. [Conclusion]Using low-temperature low-humidity fluecuring technology could prolong the maintenance duration of the submicroscopic structure integrity of flue-cured tobacco leaves, which was conducive to fully decomposing and transforming substances in tobacco leaves and obtaining high-quality flue-cured tobacco leaves.Guomin CUI Bojun WANG Rongchun LI Anding XU Yiyin CHEN Chao YANG Min PU 2014Agricultural Biotechnology2014,3,1:1

Effects of Different Flue-curing Technologies on Microscopic Structure of Flue-cured Tobacco Leaves显示文摘[Objective]This study aimed to compare the effects of Chinese quality-improving fragrance-increasing tobacco flue-curing technology,Chinese threestage tobacco flue-curing technology and Zimbabwean tobacco flue-curing technology on microscopic structure of flue-cured tobacco leaves to provide theoretical basis for tobacco flue-curing. [Method]Middle leaves of tobacco cultivar K326 were collected in Pengshui County of Chongqing City for flue-curing experiment using three flue-curing technologies. Leaf samples were collected regularly in the flue-curing process,to investigate the microscopic structure of flue-cured tobacco leaves.[Result]During three flue-curing processes, leaves, palisade tissues and sponge tissues shrank gradually. Three flue-curing processes exhibited significant differences in the peak of tissue shrinkage: microscopic structure of flue-cured tobacco leaves in Chinese three-stage tobacco flue-curing process shrank earliest, follower by Chinese quality-improving fragrance-increasing tobacco flue-curing process; flue-cured tobacco leaves in Zimbabwean tobacco flue-curing process presented the latest shrinkage. At 84 h post-curing,leaf thickness in three flue-curing processes showed a descend order of Chinese three-stage tobacco flue-curing process >Chinese quality-improving fragrance-increasing tobacco flue-curing process > Zimbabwean tobacco flue-curing process. Upper and lower epidermal cells in Zimbabwean tobacco flue-curing process ruptured earlier than other two flue-curing processes; eventually, the majority of cells ruptured and mixed with palisade tissues and sponge tissues. In Chinese quality-improving fragrance-increasing tobacco flue-curing process, only a small number of epidermal cells in dried leaves ruptured.Among three flue-curing technologies,Zimbabwean tobacco flue-curing technology exhibited the greatest damage to epidermal cells, followed by Chinese three-stage tobacco flue-curing technology; Chinese quality-improving fragrance-increasing tobacco flue-curing technology had the minimum damage to epidermal cells. Mesophyll cross-section exhibited significant morphological changes in stomata. To be specific,at 0- 12 h post-curing,stomata of tobacco leaves closed with slightly prominent stomatal apparatuses on upper and lower epidermis; at 24- 72 h post-curing,stomata of tobacco leaves changed gradually from opening to closure with significantly prominent stomatal apparatuses on upper and lower epidermis; at 84 h post-curing,stomata of tobacco leaves closed, and the majority of stomatal apparatuses were significantly prominent. In Chinese quality-improving fragrance-increasing tobacco flue-curing process, only a small number of epidermal cells ruptured at 84 h post-flue-curing; palisade tissues and sponge tissues shrank almost simultaneously. Significant gaps were observed between palisade tissues and between palisade tissues and sponge tissues. Chinese quality-improving fragrance-increasing tobacco flue-curing technology exhibited lower disorder level compared with other two flue-curing technologies. [Conclusion]Chinese quality-improving fragrance-increasing tobacco flue-curing technology was conducive to maintaining the microscopic structure integrity of flue-cured tobacco leaves and obtaining high-quality flue-cured tobacco leaves.Guomin CUI Bojun WANG Rongchun LI Anding XU Yiyin CHEN Chao YANG Min PU 2014Agricultural Biotechnology2014,3,2:1

Residue and Safety Use of 45% Prochloraz EW in Ginger显示文摘[Objective]The paper was to evaluate the safety of 45%prochloraz EW in ginger, and to study the residue and degradation of 45%prochloraz EW in ginger.[Method]45%Prochloraz EW was sprayed once at the dose of 455.625 g a.i./ha in dynamic degradation test, and ginger plants were collected at 2 h,1,3,5,7,14,21,28,35 and 42 d post spraying,respectively.45%Prochloraz EW was sprayed at the doses of 303.75 and 455.625 g a.i./ha for 2-3 times with an interval of 7 d in final residue test, and ginger plants were collected at 7,14 and 21 d post spraying, respectively. The content of prochloraz was quantitatively analyzed by gas chromatography.[Result]Dynamic degradation test demonstrated that prochloraz degraded quickly in plants, and the half-life in Shandong and Anhui were 5.8 and 7.9 d,respectively. The final residue of prochloraz in ginger samples was<0.01-0.145 mg/kg,lower than the maximum residue limit of prochloraz in ginger formulated by European Union(0.2 mg/kg).[Conclusion]Prochloraz should be sprayed at the recommended dose of 202.5-303.75 g a.i./ha for prevention and control of anthracnose on ginger. The agent should be sprayed twice in the early stage of incidence, with an interval of 7 d,and the safety interval of 14 d was safe.Feng Yizhi Han Jifeng Qi Xiaoxue Wang Xiaoyu Pan Jinju Jin Jie Liang Lin Zuo Bojun 2019Plant Diseases and Pests2019,10,5:1
A Rational Secret Sharing Scheme Against Coalition Based on Nash Equilibrium and Neighbor's Strategy显示文摘In order to prevent any arbitrary subsets of coalition in rational secret sharing, we propose a new oneway information transmission mechanism, every player in a rational secret sharing protocol only interacts with his around two players, which means his decision is strictly based on previous neighboring player's strategy. Combined with the punishment strategy of Maleka's scheme and payoff distribution principle in Game Theory, our scheme is capable of achieving Nash equilibrium and has the feature of anti-coalition. For the conspirators, getting the secret at the same time or in less than necessary iteration rounds is almost impossible. Without repeated involvement of the dealer, our scheme has the features of verifiability, anticoalition, and more meaningfully, superiority of approaching reality model by taking rational behavior into consideration.CAI Cheng WANG Bojun Ditta Allah YANG Yi 2014Chinese Journal of Electronics2014,23,3:1

A Secure and Cost-Effective Training Framework Atop Serverless Computing for Object Detection in Blasting显示文摘The data analysis of blasting sites has always been the research goal of relevant researchers. The rise of mobile blasting robots has aroused many researchers’interest in machine learning methods for target detection in the field of blasting.Serverless Computing can provide a variety of computing services for people without hardware foundations and rich software development experience, which has aroused people’s interest in how to use it in the field ofmachine learning. In this paper,we design a distributedmachine learning training application based on the AWS Lambda platform.Based on data parallelism, the data aggregation and training synchronization in Function as a Service(FaaS)are effectively realized. It also encrypts the data set, effectively reducing the risk of data leakage. We rent a cloud server and a Lambda, and then we conduct experiments to evaluate our applications. Our results indicate the effectiveness, rapidity, and economy of distributed training on FaaS.Tianming Zhang Zebin Chen Haonan Guo Bojun Ren Quanmin Xie Mengke Tian Yong Wang 2024Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2024,139,5:0
Fluorinated soft carbon as an ultra-high energy density potassium-ion battery cathode enabled by a ternary phase K_(x)FC显示文摘Fluorinated carbons(CFx)have been widely applied as lithium primary batteries due to their ultra-high energy density. It will be a great promise if CFx can be rechargeable. In this study,we rationally tune the C-F bond strength for the alkaline intercalated CFx via importing an electronegative weaker element K instead of Li.It forms a ternary phase K_(x)FC instead of two phases(LiF+C)in lithium-ion batteries.Meanwhile,we choose a large layer distance and more defects CFx,namely fluorinated soft carbon,to accommodate K.Thus,we enable CFx rechargeable as a potassium-ion battery cathode. In detail fluorinated soft carbon CF_(1.01) presents a reversible specific capacity of 339 mA h g^(-1)(797 Wh kg^(-1))in the 2nd cycle and maintains 330 mA h g^(-1)(726 Wh kg^(-1))in the 15th cycle. This study reveals the importance of tuning chemical bond stability using different alkaline ions to endow batteries with rechargeability. This work provides good references for focusing on developing reversible electrode materials from popular primary cell configurations.Pengyu Chen Bojun Wang Zhenrui Wu Xiaobin Niu Chuying Ouyang Hong Li Liping Wang 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,2:0
The tumor-enriched small molecule gambogic amide suppresses glioma by targeting WDR1-dependent cytoskeleton remodeling显示文摘Glioma is the most prevalent brain tumor, presenting with limited treatment options, while patients with malignant glioma and glioblastoma(GBM)have poor prognoses. The physical obstacle to drug delivery imposed by the blood‒brain barrier(BBB)and glioma stem cells(GSCs),which are widely recognized as crucial elements contributing to the unsatisfactory clinical outcomes. In this study,we found a small molecule, gambogic amide(GA-amide),exhibited the ability to effectively penetrate the blood-brain barrier(BBB)and displayed a notable enrichment within the tumor region.Moreover,GA-amide exhibited significant efficacy in inhibiting tumor growth across various in vivo glioma models, encompassing transgenic and primary patient-derived xenograft(PDX)models. We further performed a genome-wide clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats(CRISPR)knockout screen to determine the druggable target of GA-amide.By the combination of the cellular thermal shift assay(CETSA),the drug affinity responsive target stability(DARTS)approach, molecular docking simulation and surface plasmon resonance(SPR)analysis,WD repeat domain 1(WDR1)was identified as the direct binding target of GA-amide.Through direct interaction with WDR1,GA-amide promoted the formation of a complex involving WDR1,MYH9 and Cofilin, which accelerate the depolymerization of F-actin to inhibit the invasion of patient-derived glioma cells(PDCs)and induce PDC apoptosis via the mitochondrial apoptotic pathway. In conclusion, our study not only identified GA-amide as an effective and safe agent for treating glioma but also shed light on the underlying mechanisms of GA-amide from the perspective of cytoskeletal homeostasis.Jiaorong Qu Bojun Qiu Yuxin Zhang Yan Hu Zhixing Wang Zhiang Guan Yiming Qin Tongtong Sui Fan Wu Boyang Li Wei Han Xiaozhong Peng 2023Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,12:0
Miscibility of light oil and flue gas under thermal action显示文摘The miscibility of flue gas and different types of light oils is investigated through slender-tube miscible displacement experiment at high temperature and high pressure.Under the conditions of high temperature and high pressure, the miscible displacement of flue gas and light oil is possible. At the same temperature, there is a linear relationship between oil displacement efficiency and pressure. At the same pressure, the oil displacement efficiency increases gently and then rapidly to more than 90% to achieve miscible displacement with the increase of temperature. The rapid increase of oil displacement efficiency is closely related to the process that the light components of oil transit in phase state due to distillation with the rise of temperature. Moreover,at the same pressure, the lighter the oil,the lower the minimum miscibility temperature between flue gas and oil, which allows easier miscibility and ultimately better performance of thermal miscible flooding by air injection. The miscibility between flue gas and light oil at high temperature and high pressure is more typically characterized by phase transition at high temperature in supercritical state, and it is different from the contact extraction miscibility of CO_(2) under conventional high pressure conditions.XI Changfeng WANG Bojun ZHAO Fang HUA Daode QI Zongyao LIU Tong ZHAO Zeqi TANG Junshi ZHOU You WANG Hongzhuang 2024Petroleum Exploration and Development2024,51,1:0
