| 3 | Charactering the spoilage mechanism of'three sticks'of Jinhua ham显示文摘To investigate the spoilage characteristics of Jinhua ham,sensory scores,volatile compounds,biogenic amine,physicochemical parameters and microbial counts were evaluated between normal and spoiled hams.The results showed that off-odors of spoiled hams were dominated by rancid,sour,sulfide and ammonia odors derived from these compounds including butanoic acid,methanethiol and dimethyl disulfide.Total content of biogenic amine in spoiled hams was significantly higher(more than 10-fold)compared with normal hams,and putrescine,cadaverine and histamine were the key components of biogenic amine of spoiled hams.Lower salt content,and higher moisture,TVB-N and thiobarbituric acid reactive substances(TBARS)values were observed in spoiled hams compared with normal hams.The populations of Enterobacteriaceae and Enterococcus of spoiled hams were obviously higher than that of normal hams.High moisture and low salt content caused the abnormal growth of Enterobacteriaceae and Enterococcus in spoiled hams,which contributed to the spoilage of Jinhua ham. | Changyu Zhou Guang Zhan Daodong Pan Guanghong Zhou Ying Wang Jun He Jinxuan Cao | 2022 | Food Science and Human Wellness2022,11,5: | 1 |

| 8 | POD Nanozyme optimized by charge separation engineering for light/pH activated bacteria catalytic/photodynamic therapy显示文摘The current feasibility of nanocatalysts in clinical anti-infection therapy,especially for drug-resistant bacteria infection is extremely restrained because of the insufficient reactive oxygen generation.Herein,a novel Ag/Bi2MoO6(Ag/BMO)nanozyme optimized by charge separation engineering with photoactivated sustainable peroxidase-mimicking activities and NIR-II photodynamic performance was synthesized by solvothermal reaction and photoreduction.The Ag/BMO nanozyme held satisfactory bactericidal performance against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus(MRSA)(~99.9%).The excellent antibacterial performance of Ag/BMO NPs was ascribed to the corporation of peroxidase-like activity,NIR-II photodynamic behavior,and acidity-enhanced release of Ag^(+).As revealed by theoretical calculations,the introduction of Ag to BMO made it easier to separate photo-triggered electronhole pairs for ROS production.And the conduction and valence band potentials of Ag/BMO NPs were favorable for the reduction of O_(2) to·O_(2)^(−).Under 1064 nm laser irradiation,the electron transfer to BMO was beneficial to the reversible change of Mo^(5+)/Mo^(6+),further improving the peroxidase-like catalytic activity and NIR-II photodynamic performance based on the Russell mechanism.In vivo,the Ag/BMO NPs exhibited promising therapeutic effects towards MRSA-infected wounds.This study enriches the nanozyme research and proves that nanozymes can be rationally optimized by charge separation engineering strategy. | Changyu Cao Tingbo Zhang Nan Yang Xianghong Niu Zhaobo Zhou Jinlan Wang Dongliang Yang Peng Chen Liping Zhong Xiaochen Dong Yongxiang Zhao | 2022 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,4: | 1 |
| 9 | A purely green approach to low-cost mass production of zeolitic imidazolate frameworks显示文摘Although zeolitic imidazolate frameworks(ZIFs)have bright prospects in wide fields like gas storage/separation,catalysis and medicine,etc.,their large-scale applications are bottlenecked by the absence of their low-cost commercial production technique.Here,we report an uncon ventional method suitable for environmentally friendly and low-cost mass-production of ZIFs.In this method,taking the synthesis of ZIF-8 as an example,ZnO was used instead of Zn(NO_(3))_(2) in traditional solvent synthesis methods and CO_(2) was introduced to dissolve ZnO in aqueous solution of 2-methylimidazole(HMeim)and form water soluble salt([ZnMeim]^(+)[MeimCOO]^(-))at room temperature.Then,by removing CO_(2) through heating or vacuuming,Meim-ions are produced and instantaneously assemble with[ZnMeim]^(+)s to generate ZIF-8 without any by product.Due to the absence of strong acid anions(such as NO^(-)_(3) and Cl^(-) et al.)in solution,the washing of filter cake required in the conventional approaches could be omitted and the filtrate containing only water and HMeim could be reused completely.This method is really green as no waste gas or liquid generates because CO_(2) and water could be recycled perfectly.It overcomes almost all bottlenecks occurred in commercial production of ZIF-8 when using traditional methods.A pilot plant was established for mass-production of ZIF-8 and hundreds kilograms of ZIF-8 was produced,which indicates that the new method is not only environmentally friendly but also low cost and commercial accessibility.It is expected that the new method would open an avenue for commercial applications of ZIFs. | Hai Li Wan Chen Bei Liu Mingke Yang Zixuan Huang Changyu Sun Chun Deng Dapeng Cao Guangjin Chen | 2023 | Green Energy & Environment2023,8,3: | 0 |
| 10 | BSA stabilized photothermal-fenton reactor with cisplatin for chemo/chemodynamic cascade oncotherapy显示文摘Cisplatin(CDDP)-based chemotherapy is substantially limited in the clinic due to its high postoperative recurrence rate.Synergy therapy has been proven as a potent approach to minimize recurrence and achieve enhanced treatment effects.Herein,chemotherapy drug CDDP is assembled with the photothermal-Fenton agent of bovine serum albumin(BSA)stabilized gallic acid-functionalized iron nanoparticles(GA-Fe NPs)to achieve chemo/chemodynamic synergistic cascade oncotherapy.The Pt-GA-Fe NPs can be utilized to generate H_(2)O_(2) via the activation of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate(NADPH)oxidases(NOXs)in the tumor microenvironment(TME),which would then greatly boost H2O2-depending chemodynamic therapy(CDT).The generated cytotoxic reactive oxygen species(hydroxyl radicals,·OH)and the depletion of glutathione(GSH)would further promote CDDP-induced DNA damage.Moreover,benefiting from the absorption in the near-infrared(NIR)region,Pt-GA-Fe NPs exhibit excellent photothermal conversion efficiency(η=45.5%)and allow photoacoustic imaging(PAI)guided photothermal therapy(PTT).In vitro and in vivo experiments show that synergy therapy can effectively kill cancer cells and successfully cure cancer without systemic toxicity.The work highlights a new type of therapeutic agent based on CDDP with the ability of H_(2)O_(2) self-generation,thermal responsiveness,and enhanced CDT effects for applications in cancer therapy. | Nan Yang Tian Zhang Changyu Cao Genxiang Mao Jinjun Shao Xuejiao Song Wenjun Wang Xiaozhou Mou Xiaochen Dong | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,3: | 0 |

| 12 | P7C3-A20 treats traumatic brain injury in rats by inhibiting excessive autophagy and apoptosis显示文摘Traumatic brain injury is a severe health problem leading to autophagy and apoptosis in the brain.3,6-Dibromo-beta-fluoro-N-(3-methoxyphenyl)-9H-carbazole-9-propanamine(P7C3-A20)can be neuroprotective in various diseases,including ischemic stroke and neurodegenerative diseases.However,whether P7C3-A20 has a therapeutic effect on traumatic brain injury and its possible molecular mechanisms are unclear.Therefore,in the present study,we investigated the therapeutic effects of P7C3-A20 on traumatic brain injury and explored the putative underlying molecular mechanisms.We established a traumatic brain injury rat model using a modified weight drop method.P7C3-A20 or vehicle was injected intraperitoneally after traumatic brain injury.Severe neurological deficits were found in rats after traumatic brain injury,with deterioration in balance,walking function,and learning memory.Furthermore,hematoxylin and eosin staining showed significant neuronal cell damage,while terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase mediated dUTP nick end labeling staining indicated a high rate of apoptosis.The presence of autolysosomes was observed using transmission electron microscope.P7C3-A20 treatment reversed these pathological features.Western blotting showed that P7C3-A20 treatment reduced microtubule-associated protein 1 light chain 3-Ⅱ(LC3-Ⅱ)autophagy protein,apoptosis-related proteins(namely,Bcl-2/adenovirus E1B 19-kDa-interacting protein 3[BNIP3],and Bcl-2 associated x protein[Bax]),and elevated ubiquitin-binding protein p62(p62)autophagy protein expression.Thus,P7C3-A20 can treat traumatic brain injury in rats by inhibiting excessive autophagy and apoptosis. | Zhiqing Yang Zhenchao Wang Xiaoqi Deng Lingxin Zhu Zhaomeng Song Changyu Cao Xinran Li | 2024 | Neural Regeneration Research2024,19,5: | 0 |
| 13 | A 7-year follow-up study of the features and transformations of elderly male patients with OGTT-1h hyperglycemia显示文摘The aim of this paper is to investigate the clin-ical features and transformation of elderly male patients with normal blood glucose levels at fasting and 2 hours after glucose intake but with hyperglycemia(>11.1 mmol/L)1 hour after oral glucose tolerance test(OGTT-1h HG).Seven years of follow-up visits were per-formed on 189 elderly male outpatients with OGTT-1h HG and data was recorded on their body mass index(BMI),blood pressure,serum cholesterol and triglyceride test results and on their glucose tolerance changes every 1–2 years after taking OGTT;their possible causes were analysed.Follow-up visits revealed that 19 patients with OGTT-1h HG were diagnosed with diabetes(10.1%),78 patients with impaired glucose tolerance(IGT,41.3%),2 patients transformed to normal glucose tolerance(NGT,1.1%)and the remaining 90 patients(47.6%)remained unchanged.Synchronized comparison with IGT patients showed that the ratio of OGTT-1h HG patients turning to diabetes was lower than that of IGT patients(21.1%,x2513.05,P,0.01),and the ratio of OGTT-1h HG patients transforming to NGT was slightly higher(0.4%,x252.46,P.0.05).The prevalence of complications of hypertension,coronary heart disease,cerebral vascular diseases and dyslipidemia in patients with OGTT-1h HG were higher than those with NGT(P,0.05)and were similar to that of IGT patients.As a special phenotype of OGTT and as part of an abnormal glucose tolerance con-formation,patients with OGTT-1h HG warrant special attention,since about half of them were found to have developed diabetes or IGT,and their risk of suffering from vascular diseases were also increased. | Hui TIAN Changyu PAN Juming LU Chunlin LI Wenwen ZHONG Xiutang CAO | 2008 | Frontiers of Medicine2008,2,4: | 0 |
