1Influence of Electrolytes on the Microstructure of Microarc Oxidation Coatings on Ti-6Al-4V Alloy显示文摘Dense ceramic oxide coatings of about 50 μm may be prepared on Ti-6AI-4V alloy surface by alternating-current microarc oxidation in aluminate and silicate solutions, respectively. Their phase constituent and microstructure were characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results show that the electrolytic ions have incorporated into the interior of the coatings. The coating formed in aluminate solution is composed of the rutile TiO2 and TiAl2O5 phases rather than the rutile, anatase and amorphous SiO2 phases for the coating formed in silicate solution. However, TiAl2O5 content in the outer layer of the two coatings is much higher than in the inner layer. It is suggested that all these oxides may result from a rapid solidification of the molten coating in the microarc discharge zone.WenbinXUE ChaoWANG2002Journal of Materials Science & Technology2002,18,1:3
2Preparation of graphene oxide/natural rubber composites by latex co-coagulation: Relationship between microstructure and reinforcement显示文摘Graphene oxide(GO)has recently attracted substantial interest as a possible reinforcing agent for next generation rubber composite materials.In this research,GO was incorporated in natural rubber(NR)composites through latex co-coagulation technique.The microstructures of GO/NR composites were characterized through a combination of transmission electron microscope,scanning electron microscope,X-ray diffraction,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,and Differential scanning calorimeter.The results showed that highly exfoliated GO sheets were finely dispersed into NR rubber matrix with strong interface interaction between GO and NR.The mechanical properties of the GO/NR composites were further evaluated.The results showed that the tensile strength,tear strength and modulus can be significantly improved at a content of less than 2 phr.Especially,GO exhibited specific reinforce mechanism in NR due to the stress-induced crystallization effects of NR.The stress transfer from the NR to the GO sheets and the hindrance of GO sheets to the stress-induced crystallization of NR were further displayed in stress-strain behavior of GO/NR composites.These enhanced properties were attributed to the high surface area of GO sheets and highly exfoliated microstructures of GO sheets in NR.Yingyan Mao ChaoWang Li Liu 2020Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2020,28,4:3
3The Role of Innate Immune Cells in the Response of Heat-Treated Mycobacterium tuberculosis (M.tb) Antigens Stimulating PBMCs显示文摘The proliferation response of γδT cells to the antigen from heat-treated Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Ra (M.tb Ag) was used as a good model in γδT cell research. From preliminary research it is found that activated NK cells positively elevated γδT cells proliferation after simulating PBMCs with M. tb Ag. To investigate different behaviors of NK cells, γδNKT cells, γδT cells and relationships between these cell subsets, activation and proliferation of different cell subsets of PBMCs in response to M. tb Ag were analyzed. We demonstrated that NK cells, γδNKT cells and γδT cells could be activated after stimulation with M. tb Ag. γδNKT cells and γδT cells proliferated while the number of NK cells decreased after 11 day-simulation with M. tb Ag. 4Dynamic Experimental Study of a Multi-bypass PulseTube Refrigerator with Two-bypass Tubes显示文摘A dynamic experimental apparatus to measure the instantaneous velocity and pressure in the multi-bypass pulse tube refrigerator (MPTR) was designed and constructed. Some theortant experimental results of the instantaneous measurements of the velocity and the pressure in the MPTR with two-bypass tubes during actual operation are presented. The effects of the middle-bypass version on the dynamic pressure and mass flow rate at the cold end of the pulse tube are evaluated from experimental measurements.DC-flow phenomena are observed in this MPTR. 5用重建波场法进行全波形反演显示文摘在过去的十年中,传统的全波形反演(FWI)已广泛应用于实际地震资料的生产和研究中。虽然基础理论已确立,并通过将地震资料和精确求解波动方程得到的模拟地震波曲线之间的失配最小化产生高分辨率的地下模型,但是在实际工作中,对于更新模型参数来讲它仍然是一个具有挑战性的反演法。尽管可以用局部优化法解决最小化问题,但是由于问题的不适定性和非线性,会不可避免地朝着局部极小值进行收敛,如由于在记录的资料或不准确的初始模型中缺少低频FWI可能会收敛到局部最小。提出了一种用重构波场进行时间域全波形反演新方法(RFWI)。RFWI减小了正演模型数据精确求解波动方程作为常规FWI的约束,代之以使用一个l2近似解。通过最小化的目标函数(包括对数据失配和波动方程误差的惩罚),RFWI对地球模型进行估算并共同重建正演波场。通过扩大搜索空间,RFWI具有避免跳周期和克服一些与局部极小值相关的问题的能力。本文首先介绍了时域RFWI理论和实现情况,讨论了常规FWI和RFWI之间的异同;然后用2D合成实例证明了超越传统FWI的RFWI所具有的优点;最后在刚果海上2D拖缆数据集和墨西哥湾3D海底地震数据集上对RFWI在野外资料的应用情况进行了证明。ChaoWang 赵剑敏 2018油气地球物理2018,16,2:2

7Quantitative structure-activity relationships for the Toxicity of Substituted Benzenes to Cyprinus carpio显示文摘To measure the 96h-LC50 values of 32 substituted benzenes to the carp and to study the relationship between quantitative structure-activity and structural parameters of chemicals. Methods The acute toxicity values of 32 substituted benzenes to the carp were determined in a semistatic test. The energy of the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital, and the highest occupied molecular orbital, the dipole moment and the molecular weight of substituted benzenes were calculated by the quantum chemical method MOPAC6.0. Results The range of the toxicity of studied compounds was broad, and the most toxic compound was pentachlorophenol, while the least toxic compound was 4-methylaniline. By the stepwise regression analyses, a series of Quantitative structure-activity relationships (QSAR) equations were derived from all compounds and subclasses. The equation log1/LC50=0.759logP +2.222 (R2 (adj)=0.818) was found to fit well and the average predicted percentage error was 6.16%. 9Verification of topological relationship in 2-D grain growth process by simulation显示文摘Behaviors of the quasi-steady state grain size distribution and the corresponding topological relationship were investigated using the Ports Monte Carlo method to simulate the normal grain growth process. The observed quasi-steady state grain size distribution can be well fit by the Weibull function rather than the Hillert distribution. It is also found that the grain size and average number of grain sides are not linearly related. The reason that the quasi-steady state grain size distribution deviates from the Hillert distribution may contribute to the nonlinearity of the relation of the average number of grain sides with the grain size. 15Atmospheric VOCs in an industrial coking facility and the surrounding area:Characteristics,spatial distribution and source apportionment显示文摘Industrial coking facilities are an important emission source for volatile organic compounds(VOCs).This study analyzed the atmospheric VOC characteristics within an industrial coking facility and its surrounding environment.Average concentrations of total VOCs(TVOCs)in the surrounding residential activity areas(R1 and R2),the coking facility(CF)and the control area(CA)were determined to be 138.5,47.8,550.0,and 15.0μg/m^(3),respectively.The cold drum process and coking and quenching areas within the coking facility were identified as the main polluting processes.The spatial variation in VOCs composition was analyzed,showing that VOCs in the coking facility and surrounding areas were mainly dominated by aromatic compounds such as BTX(benzene,toluene,and xylenes)and naphthalene,with concentrations being negatively correlated with the distance from the coking facility(p<0.01).The sources of VOCs in different functional areas across the monitoring area were analyzed,finding that coking emissions accounted for 73.5%,33.3% and 27.7% of TVOCs in CF,R1 and R2,respectively.These results demonstrated that coking emissions had a significant impact on VOC concentrations in the areas surrounding coking facility.This study evaluates the spatial variation in exposure to VOCs,providing important information for the influence of VOCs concentration posed by coking facility to surrounding residents and the development of strategies for VOC abatement.Meicheng Wen Weiqiang Deng Jin Huang Shu Zhang Qinhao Lin ChaoWang Shengtao Ma Wanjun Wang Xin Zhang Guiying Li Taicheng An 2024Journal of Environmental Sciences2024,,4:0
16Functionalizing DNA nanostructures with natural cationic amino acids显示文摘Complexing self-assembled DNA nanostructures with various functional guest species is the key to unlocking new and exciting biomedical applications.Cationic guest species not only induce magnesium-free DNA to self-assemble into defined structures but also endow the final complex nanomaterials with new properties.Herein,we propose a novel strategy that employs naturally occurring cationic amino acids to induce DNA self-assembly into defined nanostructures.Natural L-arginine and L-lysine can readily induce the assembly of tile-based DNA nanotubes and DNA origami sheets in a magnesium-free manner.The self-assembly processes are demonstrated to be pH-and concentration-dependent and are achieved at constant temperatures.Moreover,the assembled DNA/amino acid complex nanomaterials are stable at a physiological temperature of 37◦C.Substituting L-arginine with its D form enhances its serum stability.Further preliminary examination of this complex nanomaterial platform for biomedical applications indicates that DNA/amino acids exhibit distinct cellular uptake behaviors compared with their magnesium-assembled counterparts.The nanomaterial mainly clusters around the cell membrane and might be utilized to manipulate molecular events on the membrane.Our study suggests that the properties of DNA nanostructures can be tuned by complexing them with customized guest molecules for a designed application.The strategy proposed herein might be promising to advance the biomedical applications of DNA nanostructures.Dong Wang Chunfa Chen Qian Liu Qianwen Zhao Di Wu Yue Yuan Chaowang Huang Xiaorong Sun Chunji Huang David Tai Leong Guansong Wang Hang Qian 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,9:0
17Derivation of Hillert-type 3D grain growth rate model with topological considerations and discussion on its grain size parameter显示文摘A Hillert-type three-dimensional grain growth rate model was derived through the grain topology-size correlation model,combined with a topology-dependent grain growth rate equation in three dimensions. It shows clearly that the Hillert-type 3D grain growth rate model may also be described with topology considerations of microstructure. The size parameter bearing in the model is further discussed both according to the derived model and in another approach with the aid of quantitative relationship between the grain size and the integral mean curvature over grain surface. 18RNA helicase DDX20 as a surrogate marker of statin activity in invasive breast cancer显示文摘OBJECTIVE To evaluate if RNA helicase DDX20,highly expressed in triple negative breast cancer(TNBC)cells,could serve as a surrogate marker for simvastatin treatment response.METHODS We first assessed correlation between 17 mevalonate pathway-related genes and expression of DDX20 in a cohort of 1325 breast cancer tumors.TNBC cells,MDA-MB-231,were then treated with simvastatin and mevalonate pathway intermediates to assess the alteration in DDX20 expression.In the mouse model,MDA-MB-231 cells were injected to tail veins of mice,groups of 8mice each were injected intraperioneally with vehicle or simvastatin 25mg·kg-1 3times a week for 6weeks.The number of metastatic colonies formed was quantified and immunohistochemical(IHC)staining of DDX20 was carried out in the lung tissues.RESULTS Among the 17 genes evaluated,positive correlation with DDX20 expression was observed in eight of them,with HMGCR having the highest correlation.Our in vitro experiments show exposure of breast cancer cells to simvastatin lead to a Rho-dependent decrease in gene expression of DDX20,leading to decreased tumor proliferation in a mevalonate pathway-dependent manner.Conversely,ectopic overexpression of DDX20 significantly abrogated the anti-metastatic activity of simvastatin.A similar observation is seen in the mouse model,where simvastatin-injected mice show significantly fewer visible lung metastases compared to placebo-fed mice.IHC staining on these lung tissues showed decreased DDX20 expression in simvastatin-injected group,corroborating our observations in vitro.CONCLUSION DDX20 is a potential surrogate marker for simvastatin treatment response in breast cancer and a long term implication of our findings is the possibility of an effective combinatorial therapeutic intervention using statins(to suppress DDX20 gene expression)and a suitable firstline agent″for the kill″of invasive breast cancer.ChaoWANG BeiyingQIU JeanPaulTHIERY GautamSETHI PatrickJ.CASEY CelestialT.YAP SooChinLEE VinayTERGAONKAR AlanPremKUMAR 2015中国药理学与毒理学杂志2015,29,S1:0
