1Glycerol carbonate synthesis from glycerol and dimethyl carbonate using guanidine ionic liquids显示文摘A large number of surplus glycerol from the biodiesel production can be used as renewable feedstock to produce glycerol carbonate. In this paper, a series of guanidine-based ionic liquids were synthesized to catalyze the transesterification of glycerol and dimethyl carbonate. The tunable basicity and the anion–cation cooperative effect were responsible for the obtained results. The [TMG][TFE] showed the best activity turnover frequency(TOF)of 1754.0 h^(-1), glycerol(GL) conversion of 91.8%, glycerol carbonate(GC) selectivity of 95.5%) at 80 °C with 0.1 mol% catalyst for 30 min. 5OTUB1 promotes osteoblastic bone formation through stabilizing FGFR2显示文摘Bone homeostasis is maintained by the balance between osteoblastic bone formation and osteoclastic bone resorption.Dysregulation of this process leads to multiple diseases,including osteoporosis.However,the underlying molecular mechanisms are not fully understood.Here,we show that the global and conditional osteoblast knockout of a deubiquitinase Otub1 result in low bone mass and poor bone strength due to defects in osteogenic differentiation and mineralization.Mechanistically,the stability of FGFR2,a crucial regulator of osteogenesis,is maintained by OTUB1.OTUB1 attenuates the E3 ligase SMURF1-mediated FGFR2 ubiquitination by inhibiting SMURF1’s E2 binding.In the absence of OTUB1,FGFR2 is ubiquitinated excessively by SMURF1,followed by lysosomal degradation.Consistently,adeno-associated virus serotype 9(AAV9)-delivered FGFR2 in knee joints rescued the bone mass loss in osteoblast-specific Otub1-deleted mice.Moreover,Otub1 mRNA level was significantly downregulated in bones from osteoporotic mice,and restoring OTUB1 levels through an AAV9-delivered system in ovariectomy-induced osteoporotic mice attenuated osteopenia.Taken together,our results suggest that OTUB1 positively regulates osteogenic differentiation and mineralization in bone homeostasis by controlling FGFR2 stability,which provides an optical therapeutic strategy to alleviate osteoporosis.Qiong Zhu Yesheng Fu Chun-Ping Cui Yi Ding Zhikang Deng Chao Ning Fan Hu Chen Qiu Biyue Yu Xuemei Zhou Guan Yang Jiang Peng Weiguo Zou Cui Hua Liu Lingqiang Zhang 2023Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,5:1

8Effects of the Interaction between Hydroxyapatite Nanoparticles and Hepatoma Cells显示文摘To gain a better understanding of the anticancer effects of hydroxyapatite(HAP) nanoparticles in vivo and in vitro, the effects of the interaction of HAP nanoparticles with hepatoma cells were explored. HAP nanoparticles were prepared by homogeneous precipitation and characterized by laser particle analysis and transmission electron microscopy(TEM). HAP nanoparticles were observed to be uniformly distributed, with rod-like shapes and diameters in the range of 42.1-87.1 nm. Overnight attached, suspended, and proliferating Bel-7402 cells were incubated with HAP nanoparticles. Inverted microscopy observation revealed that HAP nanoparticles with a cell membrane showed good adsorption. TEM demonstrated that HAP nanoparticles were present on the surface of cells, continuously taken up by cells through endocytosis, and transported in vesicles close to the nucleus. Fluorescence microscopy showed that the concentrations of intracellular Ca2+ labeled with Fluo-3 calcium fluorescent probe were significantly enhanced. In addition, inverted microscopy observation revealed that suspended cells treated with HAP nanoparticles did not adhere to the culture bottle, resulting in cell death. After the overnight attached cells were treated with HAP nanoparticles for 96 h with increasing doses of HAP nanoparticles, inverted microscopy observation revealed that cell proliferation was slowed and cell–cell adhesion was weakened. Feulgen staining and image analysis indicated that the nuclear DNA content of the cells was markedly reduced, and argyrophilic nucleolar organizer region(AgNOR) staining and image analysis indicated that the number of AgNORs was signifi cantly decreased. Therefore, hepatoma cells brought about the adsorption, uptake, transport and degradation of HAP nanoparticles. In addition, HAP nanoparticles affected hepatoma cells with regard to cell–cell adhesion, cell and extracellular matrix adhesion, and DNA and protein synthesis; thus inhibiting cell proliferation. 9Flexible,stretchable,and transparent InGaN/GaN multiple quantum wells/polyacrylamide hydrogel-based light emitting diodes显示文摘Visualization is a direct,efficient,and simple interface method to realize the interaction between human and machine,whereas the flexible display unit,as the major bottleneck,still deeply hinders the advances of wearable and virtual reality devices.To obtain flexible optoelectronic devices,one of the effective methods is to transfer a high-efficient and long-lifetime inorganic optoelectronic film from its rigid epitaxial substrate to a foreign flexible/soft substrate.Additionally,piezo-phototronic effect is a fundamental theory for guiding the design of flexible optoelectronic devices.Herein,we demonstrate a flexible,stretchable,and transparent InGaN/GaN multiple quantum wells(MQWs)/polyacrylamide(PAAM)hydrogel-based light emitting diode coupling with the piezo-phototronic effect.The quantum well energy band and integrated luminous intensity(increased by more than 31.3%)are significantly modulated by external mechanical stimuli in the device.Benefiting from the small Young's modulus of hydrogel and weak Van der Waals force,the composite film can endure an extreme tensile condition of about 21.1%stretching with negligible tensile strains transmitted to the InGaN/GaN MQWs.And the stable photoluminescence characteristics can be observed.Moreover,the hydrogen-bond adsorption and excellent transparency of the hydrogel substrate greatly facilitate the packaging and luminescence of the optoelectronic device.And thus,such a novel integration scheme of inorganic semiconductor materials and organic hydrogel materials would help to guide the robust stretchable optoelectronic devices,and show great potential in emerging wearable devices and virtual reality applications.Jiwei Chen Jiangwen Wang Keyu Ji Bing Jiang Xiao Cui Wei Sha Bingjun Wang Xinhuan Dai Qilin Hua Lingyu Wan Weiguo Hu 2022Nano Research2022,15,6:1

15Dynamic evolution of nitrogen and oxygen dual-coordinated single atomic copper catalyst during partial oxidation of benzene to phenol显示文摘Single atom catalysts(SACs)with metal_(1)-N_(x)sites have shown promising activity and selectivity in direct catalytic oxidation of benzene to phenol.The reaction pathway is considered to be involving two steps,including a H_(2)O_(2)molecule dissociated on the metal single site to form the(metal_(1)-N_(x))=O active site,and followed by the dissociation of another H_(2)O_(2)on the other side of metal atom to form O=(metal_(1)-N_(x))=O intermediate center,which is active for the adsorption of benzene molecule via the formation of a C-O bond to form phenol.In this manuscript,we report a Cu SAC with nitrogen and oxygen dual-coordination(Cu1-N3O1 moiety)that doesn’t need the first H_(2)O_(2)activation process,as verified by both experimental and density function theory(DFT)calculations results.Compared with the counterpart nitrogen-coordinated Cu SAC(denoted as Cu1/NC),Cu SAC with nitrogen and oxygen dual-coordination(denoted as Cu1/NOC)exhibits 2.5 times higher turnover frequency(TOF)and 1.6 times higher utilization efficiency of H_(2)O_(2).Particularly,the coordination number(CN)of Cu atom in Cu1/NOC maintains four even after H_(2)O_(2)treatment and reaction.Combining DFT calculations,the dynamic evolution of single atomic Cu with nitrogen and oxygen dualcoordination in hydroxylation of benzene is proposed.These findings provide an efficient route to improve the catalytic performance through regulating the coordination environments of SACs and demonstrate a new reaction mechanism in hydroxylation of benzene to phenol reaction.Weiming Chen Hongqiang Jin Feng He Peixin Cui Changyan Cao Weiguo Song 2022Nano Research2022,15,4:1

17Corelation Between Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms in Mu Opioid Receptor Exon 2 and Stereotypic Behaviour in Sows显示文摘Three breeds of sows were observed to investigate the relationship between Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms(SNPs) in Mu Opioid Receptor(MOR)and stereotypic behaviour,such as,sham-chewing,bar biting and standing still in order to better understand the mechanism of stereotypic development of the animals in restrained conditions.MOR exon 2 partial sequences were amplified to analyze single nucleotide polymorphisms by PCR-SSCP.One SNP,a silence mutant was found.A significant difference (P<0.01)was found in the frequency of genotypes in these 3 breeds where only the BB genotype,which was identical to that published in GenBank,was found in the Duroc breed,while no AA genotype was found in Landrace,3 genotypes AA,BB and AB were found in Yorkshire.The result also indicated that the individuals with AA and AB genotypes tended to be more active in sham-chewing than those with the BB genotype(P<0.05).The overall results of this study suggested that sham-chewing of sows may be subjected to both genetic control and environmental conditions,but activity level was more likely to be affected by their environment.We can putatively draw the conclusion that MOR gene has effect on the sham-chewing behavioral traits of sow.LI Jianhong BAO Jun CUI Weiguo 2008Journal of Northeast Agricultural University(English Edition)2008,15,4:0
18In-situ doping nickel single atoms in two-dimensional MXenes analogue support for room temperature NO_(2) sensing显示文摘MXenes are promising supports for anchoring metal single atoms due to their versatile composition,well-defined nanostructures,and suitable conductivity.However,metal single atoms are usually coordinated with surface terminal groups(-O,-OH,-Cl,etc.)of MXenes via conventional wet-impregnation,resulting in limited electronic structure modification.Through a NiCl2 molten salt etching method,we observed that Ni single atoms could be in-situ doped in the lattice of MXenes analogue TiC_(0.5)N_(0.5) support(denoted as Ni1/TiC0.5N0.5),resulting in much larger charge transfer from Ni atoms to adjacent Ti atoms,and thus increasing the electronic density of these Ti atoms.When used for NO_(2) sensing,Ni_(1)/TiC_(0.5)N_(0.5) exhibited excellent response sensitivity(ultra-low limit of detection~10 ppb),selectivity,and good stability at room temperature.This study provides an effective strategy for producing MXenes analogue supported metal single atoms for potential application in gas sensing.Weiming Chen Peipei Li Jia Yu Peixin Cui Xiaohu Yu Weiguo Song Changyan Cao 2022Nano Research2022,15,10:0
19Dyeing fine denier polypropylene fibers with phenylazo-β-naphthol-containing sulfonamide disperse dyes显示文摘A series of phenylazo-β-naphthol-containing sulfonamide disperse dyes were prepared from C.I.Acid Orange 7 by successive reactions of chlorination and amination,and their chemical structures were characterized by FTIR,1H NMR,and mass spectrometry.The dyes were applied to coloring of knitted fabrics from fine denier polypropylene fibers by exhaust dyeing and their optimal dyeing conditions,such as dyebath pH,dyeing temperature,dyeing time,and dye concentration were investigated in detail.Then,dye exhaustion,color strength,and color fastnesses of the dyes on the fibers were assessed and summarized.In view of dye exhaustion and color strength of the sulfonamide dyes on fine denier PP fabrics,90℃ was selected as the best dyeing temperature at dye concentration below or equal to 3.0%owf.For achieving higher color strength,130℃ was the better choice when the dye concentration was above 3.0%owf.The sulfonamide dyes,especially secondary sulfonamide dyes,exhibited superior dye exhaustion and color fastnesses to washing,sublimation,and rubbing on fine denier PP fabrics in comparison to C.I.Solvent Yellow 14 bearing the same chromophore but without sulfonamide group.Zhihua CUI Jinzong YANG Weiguo CHEN Shufen ZHANG 2010Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2010,4,3:0
20Effect of Sintering Time on the Mechanical and Corrosion Behavior of Zn-Mg Composites with a Core-Shell Structure Prepared by SPS显示文摘Zn-10 Mg composite with a core-shell structure was prepared by spark plasma sintering(SPS)technology,and a systematic study of the microstructure and properties has been conducted for different sintering times.The shell layer dominated by the hard MgZn2 phase thickens with the increase in sintering time,which has a positive effect on the mechanical and degradation properties of the material.The sample sintered for 20 min(T-20)has the best mechanical properties,with a compressive strength of 226 MPa and a compression rate of 6.5%.The corrosion resistance of samples increases as the sintering time prolongs,while the hydrogen evolution volume and pH value decrease in the immersion experiment.Furthermore,the increase in the shell thickness significantly reduces the corrosion rate,which is attributed to the weakening of the galvanic corrosion reaction between the Mg core and the MgZn2 shell.Therefore,composite with unique core-shell structure provides an advanced design idea for degradable biomaterials,and a reasonable control of sintering time can provide the optimal design strategy.Zeqin Cui Lei Zhou Xiaohu Hao Mengda Luo Wenxian Wang Jianzhong Wang Weiguo Li 2023Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2023,36,8:0
