Optimization of Dimples in Microchannel Heat Sink with Impinging Jets Part A: Mathematical Model and the Influence of Dimple Radius显示文摘With increasing heat fluxes caused by electronic components, dimples have attracted wide attention by researchers and have been applied to microchannel heat sink in modern advanced cooling technologies. In this work, the combination of dimples, impinging jets and microchannel heat sink was proposed to improve the heat transfer performance on a cooling surface with a constant heat flux 500 W/cm^2. A mathematical model was advanced for numerically analyzing the fluid flow and heat transfer characteristics of a microchannel heat sink with impinging jets and dimples(MHSIJD), and the velocity distribution, pressure drop, and thermal performance of MHSIJD were analyzed by varying the radii of dimples. The results showed that the combination of dimples and MHSIJ can achieve excellent heat transfer performance; for the MHSIJD model in this work, the maximum and average temperatures can be as low as 320 K and 305 K, respectively when mass flow rate is 30 g/s; when dimple radius is larger than 0.195 mm, both the heat transfer coefficient and the overall performance h/ΔP of MHSIJD are higher than those of MHSIJ. | MING Tingzhen CAI Cunjin YANG Wei SHEN Wenqing GAN Ting | 2018 | Journal of Thermal Science2018,27,3: | 7
Marine spatio-temporal process semantics and its applications-taking the El Nio Southern Oscilation process and Chinese rainfall anomaly as an example显示文摘Spatio-temporal semantics based on 'object views' or 'event views' has few abilities to represent and model the continuity and gradual oceanic phenomena or objects, which seriously limits the specific marine applications and knowledge discovery and data mining,so this paper proposes a hierarchical abstraction semantics with 'marine spatio-temporal process → life span phases → evolution sequences → state units' and process objects included by level with 'marine process objects → phase objects → sequence object → state objects' with the oceanic process characteristics into the marine process semantics. In addition, this paper designs the storage and representation of marine process objects using the backus normal forms (BNF) and abstract data type (ADT).Base on El Nin o Southern Oscilation (ENSO) index and Chinese rain gauging station data, this paper also gives a case of study. The spatio-temporal analysis between ENSO process and Chinese rainfall anomalies shows that the marine spatio-temporal semantics not only can illustrate the spatial distribution of Chinese rainfall anomalies in different time scales at ENSO process, life span phases and state units, but also analyze the dynamic changes of Chinese rainfall anomalies in different life span phases or state units within ENSO evolution. | XUE Cunjin DONG Qing XIE Jiong | 2012 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2012,31,2: | 4
Optimization of Dimples in Microchannel Heat Sink with Impinging Jets-Part B: the Influences of Dimple Height and Arrangement显示文摘The combination of a microchannel heat sink with impinging jets and dimples(MHSIJD) can effectively improve the flow and heat transfer performance on the cooling surface of electronic devices with very high heat fluxes. Based on the previous work by analysing the effect of dimple radius on the overall performance of MHSIJD, the effects of dimple height and arrangement were numerically analysed. The velocity distribution, pressure drop, and thermal performance of MHSIJD under various dimple heights and arrangements were presented. The results showed that: MHSIJD with higher dimples had better overall performance with dimple radius being fixed; creating a mismatch between the impinging hole and dimple can solve the issue caused by the drift phenomenon; the mismatch between the impinging hole and dimple did not exhibit better overall performance than a well-matched design. | MING Tingzhen CAI Cunjin YANG Wei SHEN Wenqing FENG Wei ZHOU Nan | 2018 | Journal of Thermal Science2018,27,4: | 4
A Cluster-Based Method for Marine Sensitive Object Extraction and Representation显示文摘Within the context of global change, marine sensitive factors or Marine Essential Climate Variables have been defined by many projects, and their sensitive spatial regions and time phases play significant roles in regional sea-air interactions and better understanding of their dynamic process. In this paper, we propose a cluster-based method for marine sensitive region extraction and representation. This method includes a kernel expansion algorithm for extracting marine sensitive regions, and a field-object triple form, integration of object-oriented and field-based model, for representing marine sensitive objects. Firstly, this method recognizes ENSO-related spatial patterns using empirical orthogonal decomposition of long term marine sensitive factors and correlation analysis with multiple ENSO index. The cluster kernel, defined by statistics of spatial patterns, is initialized to carry out spatial expansion and cluster mergence with spatial neighborhoods recursively, then all the related lattices with similar behavior are merged into marine sensitive regions. After this, the Field-object triple form of < O, A, F > is used to represent the marine sensitive objects, both with the discrete object with a precise extend and boundary, and the continuous field with variations dependent on spatial locations. Finally, the marine sensitive objects about sea surface temperature are extracted, represented and analyzed as a case of study, which proves the effectiveness and the efficiency of the proposed method. | XUE Cunjin DONG Qing QIN Lijuan | 2015 | Journal of Ocean University of China2015,14,4: | 3

Ru/NC heterointerfaces boost energy-efficient production of green H_(2)over a wide pH range显示文摘Green hydrogen(H_(2))is an import energy carrier due to the zero-carbon emission in the energy cycle.Nevertheless, green H_(2)production based on electrolyzer and photovoltaics(EZ/PV)remains limited due to the highly pH-dependant and energy exhausting overall water splitting.Herein,we report a series of Ru-nanocluster-modified mesoporous nanospheres(Rux@mONC)as pH-universal electrocatalysts towards both hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)and hydrazine oxidation reaction(HzOR).The optimal catalyst Ru_(2)0@mONC realizes remarkable catalytic activity and stability towards both HER and HzOR regardless of electrolytes. As a result, the electrode pair of Ru_(2)0@mONC//Ru_(2)0@mONC requires low cell-potentials of 39/429,405/926,and 164/1,141 mV to achieve the current density of 10/100 mA·cm^(−2),as well as the long-term stability for HzOR assisted electrochemical water splitting in alkaline, acidic, and neutral media, respectively. Those performances are more promising compared to the state-of-the-art electrocatalysts so far reported.A proof-of-concept test demonstrates an efficient production of green H_(2)powered by a single-junction silicon solar cell, which may inspire the use of a cost-effective EZ/PV system.Furthermore,a combined spectroscopic and theoretical study verifies the formation of abundant Ru/NC heterointerfaces in Ru_(2)0@mONC,which not only contributes to the balancing of H*adsorption/desorption in HER but also facilitates the*N_(2)H_(2)dehydrogenation in HzOR. | Qifeng Yang Botao Zhu Feng Wang Cunjin Zhang Jiahao Cai Peng Jin Lai Feng | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,6: | 1
Squeezing bandwidth controllable twin beam light and phase sensitive nonlinear interferometer based on atomic ensembles显示文摘We review our recent experimental progress in quantum technology employing amplification effect of four-wave mixing in a rubidium vapor. We have produced an intensity difference squeezed light source at frequencies as low as 1.5 kHz which is so far the lowest frequency at which squeezing has been observed in an atomic system. Moreover, we find that the bandwidth of our squeezed light source can be controlled with light intensity pumping. Using our non-classical light source, we have further developed a nonlinear Mach-Zehnder (MZ) interferometer, for which the maximum fringe intensity depends quadratically on the intensity of the phase-sensing field at the high-gain regime, leading to much better sensitivity than a linear MZ interferometer in which the beam splitters have the same phase-sensing intensity. The quantum technologies developed by our group could have great potential in areas such as precision measurement and quantum information. | JING JieTai LIU CunJin ZHOU ZhiFan HUDELIST Florian YUAN ChunHua CHEN LiQing LI XiaoYun QIAN Jing ZHANG KeYe ZHOU Lu MA HongMei DONG GuangJiong OU ZeYu ZHANG WeiPing | 2012 | Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,16: | 1

Lysosomal Hydrolase Cathepsin D Non-proteolytically Modulates Dendritic Morphology in Drosophila显示文摘The main lysosomal protease cathepsin D(cathD)is essential for maintaining tissue homeostasis via its degradative function, and its loss leads to ceroid accumulation in the mammalian nervous system, which results in progressive neurodegeneration.Increasing evidence implies non-proteolytic roles of cathD in regulating various biological processes such as apoptosis, cell proliferation, and migration.Along these lines,we here showed that cathD is required for modulating dendritic architecture in the nervous system independent of its traditional degradative function.Upon cathD depletion, class I and class III arborization(da)neurons in Drosophila larvae exhibited aberrant dendritic morphology, including overbranching, aberrant turning, and elongation defects.Reintroduction of wild-type cathD or its proteolyticallyinactive mutant dramatically abolished these morphological defects. Moreover, cathD knockdown also led to dendritic defects in the adult mushroom bodies, suggesting that cathD-mediated processes are required in both the peripheral and central nervous systems.Taken together, our results demonstrate a critical role of cathD in shaping dendritic architecture independent of its proteolytic function. | Ting Zhang Daxiao Cheng Cunjin Wu Xingyue Wang Qiang Ke Huifang Lou Liya Zhu Xiao-Dong Wang Shumin Duan Yi-Jun Liu | 2020 | Neuroscience Bulletin2020,36,10: | 1
Integration technology research on marine geographical information system显示文摘It is urgent and necessary to integrate a marine geographical information system (MGIS) with marine remote sensing detection modules. On the basis of the current technology and features of applications, an open three-layer integration framework is designed. At the data layer, a two-level three-base integration mechanism based on the plug-in technology is applied; At the function layer, an integration mode based on API, DLL, EXE and COM is discussed; and at the application layer, a sharing mechanism based on the clients/service is adopted. As an example, the remote sensing integrated application information system of China's coastal zone and offshore (MaXplorer1.0) with multiecology remote sensing fusion and assimilation module, surge detection module as well as eight other thematic application modules is integrated, and the key technology of integration is discussed at different layers and in different modules. The result shows that it is possible to realize the conformity of technology and resources and to provide the incorporate technology platform for marine information operational functioning after applying the integration | XUE Cunjin SU Fenzhen DU Yunyan YANG Xiaomei | 2008 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2008,27,6: | 1

A novel SIRT6 activator ameliorates neuroinflammation and ischemic brain injury via EZH2/FOXC1 axis显示文摘Ischemic stroke is the second leading cause of death worldwide with limited medications and neuroinflammation was recognized as a critical player in the progression of stroke, but how to control the overactive neuroinflammation is still a long-standing challenge. Here,we designed a novel SIRT6 activator MDL-811 which remarkably inhibited inflammatory response in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated RAW264.7 macrophages and primary mouse microglia, which were abolished by silencing SIRT6.RNA-seq screening identified the forkhead box C1 (Foxc1) is a key gene evoked by MDL-811stimulation and is required for the anti-inflammatory effects of MDL-811.We found MDL-811-activated SIRT6 directly interacted with enhancer of zeste homolog 2 (EZH2) and promoted deacetylation of EZH2 which could bind to the promoter of Foxc1 and upregulate its expression to modulate inflammation. Moreover, our data demonstrated that MDL-811 not only ameliorated sickness behaviors in neuroinflammatory mice induced by LPS,but also markedly reduced the brain injury in ischemic stroke mice in addition to promoting long-term functional recovery.Importantly,MDL-811 also exhibited strong anti-inflammatory effects in human monocytes isolated from ischemic stroke patients, underlying an interesting translational perspective.Taken together,MDL-811 could be an alternative therapeutic candidate for ischemic stroke and other brain disorders associated with neuroinflammation. | Tailin He Jialin Shang Chenglong Gao Xin Guan Yingyi Chen Liwen Zhu Luyong Zhang Cunjin Zhang Jian Zhang Tao Pang | 2021 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2021,11,3: | 1

Uncertainty Representation of Ocean Fronts Based on Fuzzy-Rough Set Theory显示文摘Analysis of ocean fronts’ uncertainties indicates that they result from indiscernibility of their spatial position and fuzzi- ness of their intensity. In view of this, a flow hierarchy for uncertainty representation of ocean fronts is proposed on the basis of fuzzy-rough set theory. Firstly, raster scanning and blurring are carried out on an ocean front, and the upper and lower approximate sets, the indiscernible relation in fuzzy-rough theories and related operators in fuzzy set theories are adopted to represent its uncer- tainties, then they are classified into three sets: with members one hundred percent belonging to the ocean front, belonging to the ocean front’s edge and definitely not belonging to the ocean front. Finally, the approximate precision and roughness degree are util- ized to evaluate the ocean front’s degree of uncertainties and the precision of the representation. It has been proven that the method is not only capable of representing ocean fronts’ uncertainties, but also provides a new theory and method for uncertainty representation of other oceanic phenomena. | XUE Cunjin ZHOU Chenghu SU Fenzhen ZHANG Dandan | 2008 | Journal of Ocean University of China2008,7,2: | 0
Malware incident response(IR) informed by cyber threat intelligence(CTI)显示文摘Dear editor, Security experts have been fighting against cybercriminals for many years and existing research shows that this battle will continue. Malicious software has no remorse when it targets different organizations, regardless of its forms [1]. Ransomware [2] has caused serious issues in different industries, especially in healthcare. The existing report shows that 34% of ransomware is targeting healthcare organizations. Nowadays, criminals prefer crypto-jacking over ransomware (which also relies on cryptocurrency for anonymous ransom payments). | Ying HE Ellis INGLUT Cunjin LUO | 2022 | Science China(Information Sciences)2022,65,7: | 0
