2Kinetics of iron removal from metallurgical grade silicon with pressure leaching显示文摘In this paper, the kinetics of pressure leaching for purification of metallurgical grade silicon with hydrochloric acid was investigated. The effects of particle size, temperature, total pressure, and concentration of hydrochloric acid on the kinetics and mechanism of iron removal were studied. It was found that the reaction kinetic model followed the shrinking core model, and the apparent activation energy of the leaching reaction was 46.908 kJ/mol. And the apparent reaction order of iron removal with pressure leaching was 0.899. 3Thermal stability of LiFePO_4/C-LiMn_2O_4 blended cathode materials显示文摘Safety is important to lithium ion battery materials. The thermal stability of LiFePO_4/C-LiMn_2O_4 blended cathode materials is characterized by using TG, XRD, and SEM etc. The results show that LiFePO_4/C-LiMn_2O_4 possesses a worse thermal stability than pure spinel LiMn_2O_4 and pure olivine LiFePO_4/C. When LiFePO_4/C-LiMn_2O_4 blended cathode materials are sintered at 500°C under Ar atmosphere, the sintered cathode materials emit O_2, and appear impurity phases(Li_3PO_4, Fe_2O_3, Mn_3O_4). It is deduced that some chemical reactions take place between different materials, which leads to a worse discharge specific capacity. 4THE SEPARATION OF Pb-Sb ALLOYS BY VACUUM DISTILLATION显示文摘This paper summarizes the research results of vacuum distillation of Pb-Sb alloy and crude antimony.In our study,we have found the basic law which states that in Pb-Sb phase diagrams,the part which is rich in lead can be used to guide the purification of lead by distillation,while the part rich in antimony can be used to guide the purification of Sb.where the compositional point C is the azeotropic mixture.The technical experi-mental results at temperatures between 7OO-85OC are coincident with those of theorical study.The expanding experiment at the 100kg scale produced satisfactory results.Dai Yongnian Zhang Guojing 1991Transactions of Nonferrous Metals Society of China1991,1,1:2

15Influence of synergistic effect of LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.15)Al_(0.05)O_(2)@Cr_(2)O_(5)composite on the electrochemical properties显示文摘LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.15)Al_(0.05)O_(2)@Cr_(2)O_(5)composite electrode combines the high rate-capability characteristics of NCA with the stability of Cr_(2)O_(5),playing a synergistic role in improving the cyclic stability,initial discharge capacity and the security of low cut-off voltage(2.0 V).When the mass ratio of Cr_(2)O_(5)in NCA is 45%(mass),the capacity retention rate increases from 58.5% without Cr_(2)O_(5)to 69.3% in the range of 2.0-4.3 V.The initial discharge capacity of NCA@Cr_(2)O_(5)composite material is 211.4 mA·h·g^(-1),its first coulombic efficiency is 94.2%,and the charging capacity remains approximately constant when mixed with 15%(mass)Cr_(2)O_(5).The reason for the improvement of the initial charge-discharge efficiency(ICDE)was explained.Impedance and cyclic voltammetry analysis reveal more detailed reasons of the observed improvements.Compared with NCA cathode material,the NCA@Cr_(2)O_(5)composite material can provide not only additional stable sites and channels for Li^(+)insertion/extraction to make up for the loss of active Li^(+)sites and prevent the accumulation of Li+in the circulation process,but also protect the NCA electrode from the corrosion of the electrolyte decomposition by the Cr_(2)O_(5)nanoparticles adhering to NCA interface.Yunke Wang Yongjia Li Yenan Zhang Guozheng Zha Feng Liang Yongnian Dai Yaochun Yao 2021Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,5:1
16Activated carbon prepared from waste tire pyrolysis carbon black via CO_(2)/KOH activation used as supercapacitor electrode显示文摘As the quantity of waste tires increases,more pyrolysis carbon black(CBp),a type of low value-added carbon black,is being produced.However,the application of CBp has been limited.Therefore,it is necessary to identify and expand applications of CBp.This work focuses on the preparation of activated carbon(AC)from CBp using the physicochemical activation of carbon dioxide(CO_(2))and potassium hydroxide(KOH).Thereafter,AC is applied to the electrode of the electrical double-layer capacitor(EDLC).The AC prepared by CO_(2)/KOH activation exhibited a hierarchical pore structure.The specific surface area increased from 415 to 733 m^(2)g^(−1),and in combination with low ash content of 1.51%,ensured abundant ion diffusion channels and active sites to store charge.The EDLC comprising the AC(AC-2)electrode prepared by excitation of CO_(2)(300 sccm)and KOH had a reasonable gravimetric specific capacitance of 192 F g^(−1)at 0.5 A g^(−1),and exhibited a good rate capability of 73%at 50 A g^(−1)in a three-electrode system.Moreover,the EDLC device comprising the AC-2 electrode delivered excellent cycling stability(capacitance retention of 106%after 10000 cycles at 2 A g^(−1)in a two-electrode system).Furthermore,a symmetric supercapacitor based on an AC electrode that exhibits a supreme energy density of 4.7 Wh kg^(−1)and a maximum power density of 6362.6 W kg^(−1)is demonstrated.HOU ShengPing ZHANG Da XIE ZhiPeng KANG Yao TANG ZhengGang DAI YongNian LEI Yong CHEN Jian LIANG Feng 2022Science China(Technological Sciences)2022,65,10:1
17Integrated purification of gadolinium and preparation of Gd2O_(3) nanoparticles by DC arc plasma显示文摘The rare-earth metal Gd plays an important role in the energy,information,and national defence fields due to its special optical,electrical,magnetic,and catalytic properties.In this study,Gd was purified by direct current(DC)arc plasma,and Gd2O_(3) nanoparticles were prepared via an integration method using purified Gd.The effects of arc current,melting time,gas pressure,and atmosphere on the purification of Gd by DC arc plasma were investigated.With an increase in the arc current and melting time,the rate of removal of impurities from Gd enhances.Moreover,Gd melting was conducted by H_(2)-Ar arc plasma,which improves the impurity removal rate by increasing the H_(2) content.High thermal conductivity and chemical activity of the activated H atoms generated by the dissociation of H_(2) are the main reasons for the significant improvement in the impurity removal rate.The mechanism of Gd purification was analysed based on the above-mentioned experimental results.The as-synthesised Gd2 O_(3) nanoparticles have a uniform spherical structure(average diameter of 32.7 nm),appropriate dispersibility,and high purity.This study provides a new strategy for the integrated purification of metals and preparation of metal/metal-based nanomaterials by DC arc plasma.Zhenggang Tang Minjie Hou Xin He Kai Ye Da Zhang Zhipeng Xie Yongnian Dai Feng Liang 2021Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,12:1
