| 3 | Replacing fishmeal with soybean meal affects survival, antioxidant capacity, intestinal microbiota, and mRNA expression of TOR and S6K1 in Macrobrachium rosenbergii显示文摘Using alternative plant-derived dietary protein to replace fishmeal,combined with practical evaluation indexes,is a recent focus for aquaculture practices.An 8-week feeding experiment with giant freshwater prawn Macrobrachium rosenbergii post-larvae was conducted to determine the eff ects of replacing fi shmeal(FM)with soybean meal in the feed,in terms of growth performance,antioxidant capacity,intestinal microbiota,and mRNA expression of target of rapamycin(TOR)and ribosomal protein S6 kinase B1(S6K1).Four isonitrogenous diets with isocaloric value were prepared to contain 100%,75%,50%,or 25%FM as the protein source(dietary treatments FM100,FM75,FM50,and FM25,respectively).Each diet was fed to post-larval prawns(mean weight 0.045±0.002 g)twice a day in four replicates.No signifi cant diff erence in weight gain was observed among all groups,but the survival rate of prawns fed the FM50 and FM25 diets was signifi cantly lower than that of prawns fed the FM diet.The mRNA expression of both TOR and S6K1 were the lowest in hepatopancreas of prawns fed the FM25 diet.Superoxide dismutase activity of prawns fed the FM25 diet was significantly lower than that of prawns fed FM50.In contrast,the malondialdehyde content was signifi cantly higher in prawns fed FM25 as compared with those fed FM75.The proportion of fishmeal in the diet did not affect the composition of core(phylum-level)intestinal microbiota,but greater fishmeal replacement with soybean meal had a potential risk to increase the relative abundance of opportunistic pathogens in the gut when considered at the genus level.These results suggest that fishmeal replacement with soybean meal should not exceed 50%in a diet for post-larval M.rosenbergii. | Zhili DING Dongsheng ZHOU Jinxian ZHENG Xuefeng CHEN Youqin KONG Changle QI Yan LIU Qiongying TANG Guoliang YANG Jinyun YE | 2022 | Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2022,40,2: | 1 |
| 4 | Barocaloric Material with High Thermal Conductivity for Room-Temperature Refrigeration显示文摘Barocaloric refrigeration technology,one of the caloric-effect refrigeration technologies,is drawing more and more attention.Neopentyl glycol(NPG)was reported to have a giant barocaloric effect,making it a potential barocaloric material.However,the high solid-solid(S-S)phase transition temperature and low thermal conductivity hinder the application of NPG in barocaloric refrigeration.This work lowers the S-S phase transition temperature and improves the thermal conductivity of the NPG-based barocaloric material.An NPG/TMP(TMP:Trimethylolpropane)binary system with an S-S phase transition temperature of 283.15 K is prepared,in which the mass ratio of TMP is 20%.Graphene is then added to the binary system to enhance thermal conductivity,and the optimal mass ratio of graphene was determined to be 5%.The thermal conductivity of this composite is 0.4 W/(m·K),increased by 110%compared to the binary system.To predict the effect of enhanced thermal conductivity on the cold-extraction process of the barocaloric refrigeration cycle,a numerical model is developed.The results show that the cold-extraction time of the barocaloric refrigeration cycle utilizing the composite with 5%graphene as the refrigerant is shortened by 50%compared with that using the binary system. | ZHU Liutao DAI Zhaofeng GAO Yuanzhi WU Dongxu WANG Changling ZHAO Dongliang SHE Xiaohui DING Yulong ZHANG Xiaosong | 2023 | Journal of Thermal Science2023,32,6: | 0 |

(Cyanobacteriaceae: Cyanophyceae) isolated from the eastern Indian Ocean显示文摘One strain of unicellular greenish algae embedded by mucilage was successfully isolated from equatorial area in the Indian Ocean. Microscopic observation, ultrastructure features and genetic identification confirmed that the strain was closely related to Cyanothece sp., which was a cyanobacteria species with great ecological significance.Cells were solitary with oval or bacilliform shapes. Diameters of this strain were relatively small, ranging from 2.5 to 6.5 μm on average. Ultrastructure of cells was simple. Thylakoids were arranged parietal and keritomized content were observed in the thylakoid region. Various electron-transparent granules with low electron-dense region as well as cyanophycin or glycogen granules-like organelle and carbonxysomes were also observed. For pigment composition, the dominant pigments were chlorophyll a, β-Carotene, Zeaxanthin and an unknown pigment, contributing 23.8%, 26.1%, 14.7% and 15.7% to total pigments respectively. | 6 | Dynamic spreading characteristics of droplet impinging soybean leaves显示文摘The study on the deposition efficiency of pesticide droplets on soybean leaves can provide the basis for reducing pesticide quantity and increasing pesticide efficiency during the application of soybean plant protection machinery.The movement behavior of droplet impinges on the plant leaf surface is affected by many factors,among which the most important and the easiest to adjust are spray droplet size and impingement velocity.By changing the droplet size and impact velocity and using Fluent simulation software,the pesticide droplet hitting the soybean leaf surface was simulated and a test platform was established to verify the simulation results.The conclusions are as follows:The longitudinal roughness of soybean leaves is higher than the transverse roughness,the longitudinal pressure of soybean leaves is higher than the transverse pressure during the impact process,and the velocity of droplet spreading along the longitudinal is lower than that of spreading along the transverse;although soybean leaf surface has high adhesion,droplet losses still exist when droplet impact velocity is relatively high.The maximum spreading diameter of the droplet increases first and then decreases with the increase of impact velocity.At the same time,the maximum spreading diameter of droplet increases with the increase of particle size.The droplet deposition was best at 1.34 m/s impact velocity and 985μm particle size.This conclusion can provide optimal operation parameters for soybean plant protection operation which can be used to guide soybean plant protection operation,improve control effect,reduce quantity and increase efficiency. | He Li Xiaoxiao Niu Li Ding Ali Shahid Tahir Changle Guo Jiajun Chai Kaifei Zhang Shangshang Cheng Yiqiu Zhao Yahui Zhang Yigao Xu Zengqiang Shang | 2021 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2021,14,3: | 0 |
| 7 | Long-term exercise training inhibits inflammation by suppressing hippocampal NLRP3 in APP/PS1 mice显示文摘Behavioral experiments have demonstrated that long-term physical exercise can be beneficial for learning and memory dysfunction caused by neuroinflammation in Alzheimer's disease(AD).However,the molecular mechanism remains poorly understood due to a lack of sufficient pertinent biochemical evidence.We investigated the potential effect of long-term physical exercise on cognition and hippocampal gene and protein expression changes in a transgenic AD mouse model.Following twenty weeks of treadmill exercise,transgenic AD mice showed improvement in cognitive functions and downregulation of Nod-like receptor protein 3(NLRP3)(p<0.01),interleukin-1beta(IL-1β)(p<0.05),and amyloid-β1-42(Aβ1-42)(p<0.05)expression levels.In addition,we observed significant reductions of microglial activation and hippocampal neuronal damage in the exercised AD mice(p<0.01),which might be a result of the downregulation of NLRP3-mediated signaling and neuroinflammatory responses.As neuronal damage due to inflammation might be a likely cause of AD-associated cognitive dysfunction.Our results suggested that the anti-inflammatory effects of exercise training involved downregulating the expression of key inflammatory factors and might play an important role in protecting hippocampal neurons against damage during the course of AD. | Xue Li Yu Jin Xianyi Ding Tongyang Zhu Changling Wei Li Yao | 2023 | Sports Medicine and Health Science2023,5,4: | 0 |
