1Progress in electrical energy storage system:A critical review显示文摘Electrical energy storage technologies for stationary applications are reviewed. Particular attention is paid to pumped hydroelectric storage, compressed air energy storage, battery, flow battery, fuel cell, solar fuel, superconducting magnetic energy storage, flywheel, capacitor/supercapacitor, and thermal energy storage. 2Lopingian mixed floras from Linxi Formation in Soron area,Inner Mongolia显示文摘A lot of well-preserved plants from the Linxi Formation are collected in the Soron area,Inner Mongolia,consisting of 34 species of 16 genera. They are Late Permian in age. The flora is characterized by a lot of Angaran plants,such as Paracalamites,Comia,Rhachiphyllum,Iniopteris,Rufloria,etc. Some Cathaysian elements,such as Lobatannularia lingulata,L. multifolia,Fascipteris Cathaysiantus,F. densata,Taeniopteris szei,Cladophlebis liulinensis and C. permica,are also mixed within the present flora. This indicates that the Soron of Inner Mongolia was located in the sector between the Angaran and Cathysian floristic provinces in Lopingian. It is beneficial for depicting the location and the evolution of the Solenker--Xar Moron suture zone in the phytogeographic view. 3Predicting thermal conductivity of liquid suspensions of nanoparticles (nanofluids) based on rheology显示文摘A methodology is proposed for predicting the effective thermal conductivity of dilute suspensions of nanoparticles(nanofluids) based on rheology.The methodology uses the rheological data to infer microstructures of nanoparticles quantitatively,which is then incorporated into the conventional Hamilton-Crosser equation to predict the effective thermal conductivity of nanofluids.The methodology is experimentally validated using four types of nanofluids made of titania nanoparticles and titanate nanotubes dispersed in water and ethylene glycol.And the modified Hamilton-Crosser equation successfully predicted the effective thermal conductivity of the nanofluids.Haisheng Chen Sanjeeva Witharanaa Yi Jin Chongyoup Kim Yulong Ding 2009Particuology2009,7,2:9
4Convective heat transfer characters of nanoparticle enhanced latent functionally thermal fluid显示文摘The latent heat of the microencapsulated phase change material(MPCM)increases the effective ther-mal capacity of latent functionally thermal fluid.However,researchers found that the heat transfer performance of such fluids was diminished due to the reduction of the low thermal conductivity of MPCM.For this reason,the nanoparticle enhanced latent functionally thermal fluids were formulated and the heat transfer behaviors of these fluids in a vertical circular tube at the laminar regime were conducted.The result showed that slurries containing 0.5% TiO2 nanoparticles by mass and 5%―20% MPCM by mass exhibited improved heat transfer rates in comparison with the conventional latent functionally thermal fluid and that the enhancement increased with the increasing MPCM concentration and up to 18.9% of the dimensionless wall temperature was reduced.WANG Liang LIN GuiPing CHEN HaiSheng DING YuLong 2009Science China(Technological Sciences)2009,52,6:4
5Study on Forced Convective Heat Transfer of Non-Newtonian Nanofluids显示文摘This paper is concerned with the forced convective heat transfer of dilute liquid suspensions of nanoparticles(nanofluids) flowing through a straight pipe under laminar conditions. Stable nanofluids are formulated by usingthe high shear mixing and ultrasonication methods. They are then characterised for their size, surface charge,thermal and theological properties and tested for their convective heat transfer behaviour. Mathematical modellingis performed to simulate the convective heat transfer of nanofluids using a single phase flow model and consideringnanofluids as both Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluid. Both experiments and mathematical modellingshow that nanofluids can substantially enhance the convective heat transfer. 6Thermo-Economic Modeling and Evaluation of Physical Energy Storage in Power System显示文摘In order to assess the electrical energy storage technologies,the thermo-economy for both capacity-type and power-type energy storage are comprehensively investigated with consideration of political,environmental and social influence.And for the first time,the Exergy Economy Benefit Ratio(EEBR)is proposed with thermo-economic model and applied to three different storage systems in various scenarios,including pumped storage,compressed air energy storage and flywheel energy storage.The impact of the total system efficiency,annual utilization hour,life time,and other key factors are also analyzed.The results show that the EEBRs of pumped storage and compressed air energy storage under peak load shaving condition and flywheel energy storage under frequency modulation service condition are all larger than zero,which means they are all thermo-economically feasible.With extra consideration of political,environmental and social impact,the exergy cost could reduce by about 25%and the EEBR doubles.The sensitivity analysis indicates the similarity and diversity of influence to EEBR between capacity-type and power-type energy storage systems.The former is that energy efficiency is the dominated factor for all three storage systems.The latter is that the difference of exergy benefit mode causes variety in other major factors.For energy-type storage system,like pumped storage and compressed air storage,the peak-to-valley price ratio is very sensitive in energy arbitrage.For power-type storage system,like flywheel storage,the mileage ratio is in leading position in auxiliary service benefit by mileage.In the three cases studied,the pumped storage has the best thermo-economy;the compressed air energy storage is the second,and the flywheel energy storage is the third.The main reason is that the pumped storage has the least non-exergy cost,and flywheel has the most.HU Shan LIU Chang DING Jie XU Yujie CHEN Haisheng ZHOU Xuezhi 2021Journal of Thermal Science2021,30,6:4

14Estimating the Economics of Electrical Energy Storage Based on Different Policies in China显示文摘This paper assesses the value of bulk grid-scale energy storage(GES) technologies in six electric power districts of China. The economic feasibility of GES under three different types of compensation mechanisms was analyzed. Based on a careful investigation of China’s existing power system, a unit commitment model that comprehensively reflects the production costs(including reduction of fuel consumption, grid loss, ancillary services and so on) of the entire power grid has been proposed. The benefits of GES can be obtained by comparing the production costs of two different scenarios: with and without GES. 15Characterization of CoMn catalyst by in situ X-ray absorption spectroscopy and wavelet analysis for Fischer–Tropsch to olefins reaction显示文摘Cobalt carbide has recently been reported to catalyse the FTO con version of syngas with high selectivity for the production of lower olefins (C2-C4). Clarifying the formation process and atomic structure of cobalt carbide will help understand the catalytic mechanism of FTO. Herein, hydrogenati on of carb on monoxide was investigated for cobalt carbide synthesized from CoMn catalyst, followed by X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, temperature programmed reaction and in situ X-ray absorption spectroscopy.
