1Epigenetic modification in histone deacetylase deletion strain of Calcarisporium arbuscula leads to diverse diterpenoids显示文摘Epigenetic modifications have been proved to be a powerful way to activate silent gene clusters and lead to diverse secondary metabolites in fungi. Previously, inactivation of a histone H3 deacetylase in Calcarisporium arbuscula had led to pleiotropic activation and overexpression of more than 75% of the biosynthetic genes and isolation of ten compounds. Further investigation of the crude extract of C. arbuscula Δhda A strain resulted in the isolation of twelve new diterpenoids including three cassanes(1-3), one cleistanthane(4), six pimaranes(5-10), and two isopimaranes(11 and 12) along with two know cleistanthane analogues. Their structures were elucidated by extensive NMR spectroscopic data analysis. 5A NEW PROCEDURE FOR TESTING NORMALITY BASED ON THE L_2 WASSERSTEIN DISTANCE显示文摘This paper proposes a new goodness-of-fit test for normality based on the L_2 Wasserstein distance.The authors first construct a probability through the Bootstrap resampling.Although the probability is not distributed uniformly on the interval(0,1)under the null hypothesis,it is shown that its distribution is free from the unknown parameters,which indicates that such a probability can be taken as the test statistic.It emerges from the simulation study of power that the new test is able to better discriminate between the normal distribution and those distributions with short tails.For such alternatives,it has a substantially better power than existing tests including the Anderson-Darling test and Shapiro-Wilk test,which are two of the best tests for normality.In addition,the sensitivity analysis of tests is also investigated in the presence of moderate perturbation,which shows that the new test is a rather robust test.HE Daojiang XU Xingzhong ZHAO Jianxin 2013Journal of Systems Science & Complexity2013,26,4:2
6Objective Bayesian analysis for the accelerated degradation model usingWiener process with measurement errors显示文摘The Wiener process as a degradation model plays an important role in the degradation analysis.In this paper, we propose an objective Bayesian analysis for an acceleration degradation Wienermodel which is subjected to measurement errors. The Jeffreys prior and reference priors underdifferent group orderings are first derived, the propriety of the posteriors is then validated. It isshown that two of the reference priors can yield proper posteriors while the others cannot. A simulation study is carried out to investigate the frequentist performance of the approach comparedto the maximum likelihood method. 7Step-stress accelerated degradation test planning based on Wiener processwith correlation显示文摘To assess the lifetime distribution of highly reliable or expensive product,one of the most commonly used strategies is to construct step-stress accelerated degradation test(SSADT)which can curtail the test duration and reduce the test cost.In reality,it is not unusual for a unit with a higher degradation rate which exhibits a more volatile degradation path.Recently,Ye,Chen,and Shen[(2015).A new class of Wiener process models for degradation analysis.Reliability Engineering and System Safety,139,58–67]proposed a Wiener process to capture the positive correlation between the drift rate and the volatility.In this paper,an optimal SSADT plan is developed under the assumption that the underlying degradation path follows the Wiener process with correlation.Firstly,the stochastic diffusion process is introduced to model a typical SSADT problem.Then the design variables,including the sample size,the measurement frequency and the numbers of measurements under each stress level,are optimised by minimising the asymptotic variance of the estimated p-percentile of the product’s lifetime distribution subject to the total experimental cost not exceeding a pre-specified budget.Finally,a numerical example is presented to illustrate the proposed method.Lei He Rong-Xian Yue Daojiang He 2018Statistical Theory and Related Fields2018,2,1:1

15A Stochastic Restricted s–K Estimator in the Linear Model显示文摘In this paper, we propose a stochastic restricted s–K estimator in the linear model with additional stochastic linear restrictions by combining the ordinary mixed estimator(OME) with the s–K estimator. It is shown that the proposed estimator is superior to the OME and the s–K estimator under the mean squared error matrix criterion under some conditions. 16Objective Bayesian hypothesis testing and estimation for the intraclass model显示文摘The intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) plays an important role in various fields of study asa coefficient of reliability. In this paper, we consider objective Bayesian analysis for the ICCin the context of normal linear regression model. We first derive two objective priors for theunknown parameters and show that both result in proper posterior distributions. Within aBayesian decision-theoretic framework, we then propose an objective Bayesian solution to theproblems of hypothesis testing and point estimation of the ICC based on a combined use of theintrinsic discrepancy loss function and objective priors. The proposed solution has an appealinginvariance property under one-to-one reparametrisation of the quantity of interest. Simulationstudies are conducted to investigate the performance the proposed solution. 17Application of a jigsaw puzzle flap based on free-style perforator to repair large scalp defects after tumor resection:A case series显示文摘Background:Reconstruction of large scalp defects after tumor resection is common and challenging.Free skin grafting or free flap transfer is always performed.However,these techniques can result in poor functional and cosmetic outcomes.Methods:In the Second Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University and the Second Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu Medical College,35 patients underwent jigsaw puzzle flap procedures based on a free-style perforator to repair large scalp defects after tumor resection from May 2013 to November 2022.The key to this procedure was to divide a large defect into several smaller parts that correspond to adjacent free-style perforators around the scalp defect.The free-style perforator flaps were designed in different ways,such as propeller flaps,rotation flaps,and V-Y advancement flaps,which were pedicled with free-style perforators.All of the small flaps were then mobilized to the defect and sutured to each other to create a new,large jigsaw puzzle-like flap to cover the large scalp defect.Finally,all the donor sites were closed directly.Results:Overall,35 patients were treated.The average defect size was 72 cm^(2)(range,25-91 cm^(2)).All flaps had a satisfactory appearance after follow-up periods of 6 months-10 years.Local tumor recurrence occurred in one case.Conclusion:The application of a jigsaw puzzle flap based on a free-style perforator is a suitable option for the reconstruction of large scalp defects after resection,yielding satisfactory functional and cosmetic results.Daojiang Yu Jing Wang Lei Chen Lu An Yahui Feng Sheng Jiang Shuyu Zhang Xiaoming Chen Guozhong Lv 2023Chinese Journal Of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery2023,5,3:0
18RXRα agonist bexarotene attenuates radiation-induced skin injury by relieving oxidative stress显示文摘Objective: To investigate the protective effect of bexarotene in radiation-induced skin injury and elucidate underlying mechanism.Methods: Irradiated cellular and animal models were established using an X-ray linear accelerator. Cell viabilityand apoptosis were evaluated by CCK8 and flow cytometry. In vivo protective effect of bexarotene was measuredin irradiated SD rats. The antioxidant capacity of bexarotene was validated by DCF-DA method. The signalingpathways involved in bexarotene-mediated skin repair were enriched by RNA sequencing.Results: Bexarotene could significantly restore the proliferation and inhibit the apoptosis of WS1 cells with radiation damage (P < 0.05). Moreover, bexarotene could effectively shorten the process of skin damage andpromote skin repair in a rat model of radiation-induced skin injury (P < 0.05). Mechanistically, bexaroteneeffectively reduced the expression of RXRα (P < 0.05), thus leading to an early decrease in reactive oxygen species(ROS) after radiation exposure.
