Numerical simulation of the influences of sinker weight on the deformation and load of net of gravity sea cage in uniform flow显示文摘A numerical model for determining fishing net configuration and load is developed, based on the lumped masses method. The model is used to analyze the influences on the net of gravity sea cage by different sinker weights in uniform flow. The net of gravity sea cage is simulated under different current velocities and sinker weights. In order to verify the validity of the numerical results, model test results made by Lader and Enerhaug are cited and compared with the numerical ones. The results of numerical simulation agree well with the experimental ones and the agreement is within an error range of 13% under different velocities and sinker weights. The numerical results indicate that increasing the sinker weight can effectively reduce the net deformation, but the total drag force on the net will increase accordingly. Results will give references for better knowledge of the hydrodynamic behavior of gravity sea cage.LI Yucheng ZHAO Yunpeng GUI Fukun TENG Bin DONG Guohai 2006Acta Oceanologica Sinica2006,25,3:16
Wave Breaking Phenomena of Irregular Waves Combined with Opposing Current显示文摘- Experimental study and theoretical analysis show that the critical value of relative wave height (H/ d)b given by Goda and the critical wave steepness (H/ L)b given by Michell and Miche can be adopted as the spilling breaking indices of regular waves. According to the same principle, a systematic theoretical analysis and experiment of irregular waves have been done by the authors in order to solve the breaking problem of irregular waves. It is indicated that the authors’ method for determining wave breaking of regular waves can also be used for irregular waves.Li, Yucheng Dong, Guohai 1993China Ocean Engineering1993,8,2:7
The force of oblique incident wave on the breakwater with a partially perforated wall显示文摘Wave forces induced by the interaction between the oblique incident wave and the breakwater with a partially perforated front wall isinvestigated. The fluid domain is divided into two sub-domains and the eigen-function expansion method is applied to expanding ve-locity potentials in each domain. In the eigen-expansion of the velocity potential, evanescent waves are included. Numerical results ofthe present model are compared with other theories and a good agreement can be found between them. Experimental data have beencompared with the present theoretical results. The effect of the traverse wall on wave forces has been discussed in detail. On the basisof the linear wave theory, it is shown that in the range of engineering practice, the incident angle of wave has small influence on waveforces on the unit length of perforated caisson.LI Yucheng LIU Hongjie DONG Guohai 2005Acta Oceanologica Sinica2005,24,4:6
Numerical study of transient nonlinear harbor resonance显示文摘It is generally accepted that nonlinear wave-wave interactions play an important role in harbor resonance. Nevertheless it is not clear how waves take part in those interactions. The aim of this paper is to investigate those processes for a rectangular harbor at transient phases. Long-period oscillations excited by bichromatic waves are simulated by the Boussinesq model. The simulations start from calm conditions for the purpose of studying the response process. The internal wavemaker stops working after the oscillations have reached a quasi-steady state, and it is used to simulate the damp process. In order to analyze temporary features of wave-wave interactions in different states, the wavelet-based bispectrum is employed. The influence of the short wave frequencies on long-period oscillations is investigated, and reasons are tried to be given from nonlinear triad interactions between different wave components and the interaction of short waves and the bay entrance. Finally, the response time and the damp time are estimated by a simple method.DONG GuoHai, WANG Gang, MA XiaoZhou & MA YuXiang State Key Laboratory of Coastal and Offshore Engineering, Dalian University of Technology, Dalian 116023, China 2010Science China(Technological Sciences)2010,53,2:6
Incoherent imaging through highly nonstatic and optically thick turbid media based on neural network显示文摘Imaging through nonstatic scattering media is one of the major challenges in optics, and encountered in imaging through dense fog, turbid water, and many other situations. Here, we propose a method to achieve single-shot incoherent imaging through highly nonstatic and optically thick turbid media by using an end-to-end deep neural network. In this study, we use fat emulsion suspensions in a glass tank as a turbid medium and an additional incoherent light to introduce strong interference noise. We calibrate that the optical thickness of the tank of turbid media is as high as 16, and the signal-to-interference ratio is as low as -17 dB. Experimental results show that the proposed learning-based approach can reconstruct the object image with high fidelity in this severe environment.SHANSHAN ZHENG HAO WANG SHI DONG FEI WANG GUOHAI SITU 2021Photonics Research2021,9,5:5
Numerical modeling of surf beat generated by moving breakpoint显示文摘As an important hydrodynamic phenomenon in the nearshore zone, the cross-shore surf beat is numerically studied in this paper with a fully nonlinear Boussinesq-type model, which resolves the primary wave motion as well as the long waves. Compared with the classical Boussinesq equations, the equations adopted here allow for improved linear dispersion characteristics. Wave breaking and run-up in the swash zone are included in the numerical model. Mutual interactions between short waves and long waves are inherent in the model. The numerical study of long waves is based on bichromatic wave groups with a wide range of mean frequencies, group frequencies and modulation rates. The cross-shore variation in the amplitudes of short waves and long waves is investigated. The model results are compared with laboratory experiments from the literature and good agreement is found.DONG GuoHai MA XiaoZhou TENG Bin 2009Science China(Technological Sciences)2009,52,2:2
Genomic and transcriptomic analysis unveils population evolution and development of pesticide resistance in fall armyworm Spodoptera frugiperda显示文摘The fall armyworm(FAW),Spodoptera frugiperda,is a destructive pest native to America and has recently become an invasive insect pest in China.Because of its rapid spread and great risks in China, understanding of FAW genetic background and pesticide resistance is urgent and essential to develop effective management strategies. Here,we assembled a chromosome-level genome of a male FAW(SFynMstLFR)and compared re-sequencing results of the populations from America,Africa, and China.Strain identification of 163 individuals collected from America,Africa and China showed that both C and R strains were found in the American pop-ulations,while only C strain was found in the Chinese and African populations. Moreover, population geno-mics analysis showed that populations from Africa and China have close relationship with significantly genetic differentiation from American populations.Taken toge-ther,FAWs invaded into China were most likely origi-nated from Africa.Comparative genomics analysis displayed that the cytochrome p450 gene family is extremely expanded to 425 members in FAW,of which 283 genes are specific to FAW.Treatments of Chinese populations with twenty-three pesticides showed the variant patterns of transcriptome profiles, and several detoxification genes such as AOX,UGT and GST spe-cially responded to the pesticides. These findings will be useful in developing effective strategies for manage-ment of FAW in China and other invaded areas.Furong Gui Tianming Lan Yue Zhao Wei Guo Yang Dong Dongming Fang Huan Liu Haimeng Li Hongli Wang Ruoshi Hao Xiaofang Cheng Yahong Li Pengcheng Yang Sunil Kumar Sahu Yaping Chen Le Cheng Shuqi He Ping Liu Guangyi Fan Haorong Lu Guohai Hu Wei Dong Bin Chen Yuan Jiang Yongwei Zhang Hanhong Xu Fei Lin Bernard Slippers Alisa Postma Matthew Jackson Birhan Addisie Abate Kassahun Tesfaye Aschalew Lemma Demie Meseret Destaw Bayeleygne Dawit Tesfaye Degefu Feng Chen Paul K.Kuria Zachary M.Kinyua Tong-Xian Liu Huanming Yang Fangneng Huang Xin Liu Jun Sheng Le Kang 2022Protein & Cell2022,13,7:2

Wave Breaker Indices in Finite Water Depth显示文摘Based on the analysis and comparison of wave breaker indices defined by geometric, kinetic as well as dynamic stabilities and verified by observation, the value a, which is equal to H / Lthkd by Miche’s result and may be modified by Goda’s results, is' suggested as the wave breaking criteria. The applicable values of a for pure waves or wave-current co-existing field are given in this paper. They are smaller than Miche’s result (0.142), and they have been verified by model tests.Li, Yucheng Dong, Guohai Teng, Bin 1991China Ocean Engineering1991,6,1:0
Wave Transformation and Breaking in Diagonal Opposing Current显示文摘- When waves propagate into diagonal opposing current from non-current area, not only the wave parameters but also the direction of wave propagation will change, that is, wave refraction will occur. The authors have calculated the changes of wave parameters, including wave refraction, by Linear Wave Theory, and have also done systematic study on wave transformation and breaking in opposing current by means of experimental analysis and theoretical calculation. In order to know the effect of wave refraction, computation is done in this paper about wave transformation and breaking on gentle slopes in diagonal opposing current.Dong, Guohai Li, Yucheng 1993China Ocean Engineering1993,8,4:0
The single-cell landscape reveals unique tumor subsets and microenvironments associated with poor clinical outcomes in primary testicular diffuse large B-cell lymphoma显示文摘Diffuse large B cell lymphoma(DLBCL)is one of the most prevalent lymphoid malignancies. The current standard of care can cure about two-thirds of DLBCL patients.1 Primary testicular diffuse large B-cell lymphoma(PT-DLBCL)is a rare but highly aggressive form of mature B-cell lymphoma that accounts for approximately 1%-9%of testicular malignancies.Different from nodal DLBCL,PT-DLBCL has a markedly worse prognosis because of inferior response to the current treatment regimens and significant extranodal tropism.2 Three main questions remained unresolved in the field of PT-DLBCL research.Zhouliang Bian Benhong Gu Guohai Shi Jiahui Guo Dong Li Hanlin Zengg Bin Jiang Daliu Min Hengchuan Su Yanjie Zhang 2024Genes & Diseases2024,11,1:0
