| 1 | Astragalus injection inhibits c-Jun N terminal kinase mRNA expression following oxygen-glucose deprivation and reintroduction in rat hippocampal neurons显示文摘BACKGROUND:In studies concerning cell injury induced by cerebral ischemia-reperfusion,current experiments have primarily focused on altered protein levels.In addition,the apoptotic proteins Bax and Bcl-2 have been thoroughly studied with regard to initiating neuronal apoptosis. OBJECTIVE:To establish an in vitro model of oxygen-glucose deprivation and reintroduction in the rat hippocampus to simulate cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury;to observe c-Jun N-terminal kinase 3(JNK3) mRNA expression in hippocampal neurons following Astragalus injection;and thus to determine changes in the signaling and downstream pathways of neuronal apoptosis at the cellular and molecular level. DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:A randomized,controlled,cellular and molecular experiment was performed at the Department of Central Laboratory,Chengde Medical College from February to June 2008. MATERIALS:Astragalus injection,the main ingredient of astragaloside,was purchased from Chengdu Di'ao Jiuhong Pharmaceutical Manufactory,China.JNK3 mRNA probe and in situ hybridization kit were purchased from Tianjin Haoyang Biological Technology,China,and JNK3 RT-PCR primers were designed by Shanghai Bio-engineering,China. METHODS:Primary cultures of hippocampal neurons derived from Sprague Dawley rats,aged 1-2 days,were established.After 8 days,the hippocampal neurons were assigned to the following interventions:model group,Astragalus group,and vehicle control group,cells were subjected to oxygen-glucose reintroduction after oxygen-glucose deprivation for 30 minutes in sugar-free Earle's solution and a hypoxia device,which contained high-purity nitrogen.The normal control group was subjected to primary culture techniques and was not treated using above-mentioned interventions. In addition,the Astragalus and vehicle control groups were treated with Astragalus injection(0.5 g/L raw drug) or sterile,deionized water at 2 hours prior to oxygen-glucose deprivation,respectively. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:JNK3 mRNA expression was measured by in situ hybridization and RT-PCR at 0,0.5,2,6,24,72,and 120 hours after oxygen-glucose reintroduction. RESULTS:Hippocampal neuronal morphology was normal in the normal control group. Hippocampal neurons exhibited apparent apoptosis-like pathological changes in the model,as well as the vehicle control,groups.The apoptosis-like pathological changes in the hippocampal neurons were less in the Astragalus group.Results from in situ hybridization and RT-PCR showed that JNK3 mRNA expression significantly increased in hippocampal neurons from model group,as well as the vehicle control group,compared with the normal control group(P<0.05).In addition,JNK3 mRNA expression significantly decreased in hippocampal neurons of the Astragalus group,compared with the model group and vehicle control group(P<0.05). | 7 | Deciphering built form complexity of Chinese cities through plot recognition:A case study of Nanjing,China显示文摘Dramatic changes in the economic systems and land rights in the recent history of China yielded unique but complex urban forms for many cities.The complexity of urban form is mostly manifested as ambiguous relations between elements of the physical form and between the physical form and human behavior.Currently,these ambiguities become obstacles that increasingly hinder urban regeneration.However,despite the fast-growing research on the morphology of Chinese cities,our understanding of the complexity of their built form is still in its infancy.Taking the city of Nanjing as the case study,this study attempts to decipher the complexity of its built form by investigating its plot patterns.Six samples,dating back to different development periods,are selected and analyzed in terms of both a physical entity and a unit of property.The results show that the complexity of plots is largely attributable to the inconsistency between their spatial boundaries as physical entities and as units of property.Accordingly,the plots of all six samples are re-recognized and two generic types of plot sub-series,co-inflection and embeddedness,are developed as a prism to decipher the built form complexity.The findings contribute to the theory on the compositional hierarchy of urban forms and may shed light on the urban regeneration of Chinese cities as well. | Yacheng Song Ye Zhang Dongqing Han | 2022 | Frontiers of Architectural Research2022,11,5: | 0 |
| 8 | A novel perylene diimide-based ionene polymer and its mixed cathode interlayer strategy for efficient and stable inverted perovskite solar cells显示文摘Inverted(p-i-n)perovskite solar cells(PerSCs)have attracted much attention owing to their low temperature processability,less hysteresis effect and easy integration as a subunit for the tandem device.The unsatisfactory interface contacts and energy level barrier between adjacent interlayers on the cathode side are one of the key challenges for the development of p-i-n PerSCs.Herein,perylene diimidebased(PDI)ionene polymer was synthesized and developed as a cathode interlayer(CIL)to enhance interface contact,reduce the energy level barrier and prevent the migration of I-ions.The compact PNPDI CIL with high conductivity and appropriate lowest unoccupied molecular orbital(LUMO)level,resulted in a high efficiency device(20.03%),which is higher than the control device with bathophenanthroline(Bphen)(19.48%).Bphen-based CIL shows better adjusting ability of the work function of cathode metal but exhibits poor film-forming property.So,the synergistic effect of 1+1>2 can be obtained by combining Bphen and PNPDI into one CIL.As expected,the device performance was further improved by using the mixed CIL of Bphen and PNPDI,and 21.46%power conversion efficiency(PCE)was achieved.What’s more,the compact and hydrophobic mixed CIL dramatically enhanced the resistance to I-ions and moisture,which led to much enhanced device stability. | Daizhe Wang Cong Kang Tengling Ye Dongqing He Shan Jin Xiaoru Zhang Xiaochen Sun Yong Zhang | 2023 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,7: | 0 |

| 13 | Interface Engineering of Inverted Perovskite Solar Cells Using a Self-doped Perylene Diimide Ionene Terpolymer as a Thickness-Independent Cathode Interlayer显示文摘Inverted perovskite solar cells(PerSCs)are a highly promising candidate in the photovoltaic field due to their low-temperature fabrication process,negligible hysteresis,and easy integration with Si-based solar cells.A cathode interlayer(CIL)is necessary in the development of inverted devices to reduce the trap density and energy barrier between the electron transport layer(ETL)and the electrode.However,most CILs are highly thickness-sensitive due to low conductivity and poor film-forming.In this study,we report on a self-doping perylene imide-based ionene polymer(PNPDIN)used as CIL material to modify electrode in inverted PerSCs.PNPDIN exhibits high conductivity and a good solubility in polar solvent,which results in an improved power conversion efficiency(PCE)from 10.05%(device without a CIL)to 16.97%.When the blend of PNPDIN and Bphen was used as a mixed CIL,the PCE of PerSCs can be further increased to 21.28%owing to the excellent morphology and matched energy level.More importantly,the PCE of the device is highly tolerant to the thickness of the mixed CIL,which benefited from the high conductivity of PNPDIN.This development is expected to provide an excellent mixed CIL material for roll-to-roll processing efficient and stable inverted PerSCs. | Daizhe Wang Tengling Ye Dongqing He Xiaochen Sun Yong Zhang | 2023 | Chinese Journal of Chemistry2023,41,23: | 0 |
