| 1 | A general alternate loading technique and its applications in the inverse designs of centrifugal and mixed-flow pump impellers显示文摘For the inverse designs of centrifugal and mixed-flow pump impellers,clarifying the generation process of secondary flows and putting forward corresponding suppression measures is an important approach to improve the impeller performance.In this paper,to provide a better qualitative insight into the generation mechanism of secondary flows in the impeller,a simple kinematic equation is derived based on the ideal assumptions,which indicates that the potential rothalpy gradient(PRG)is the most important dynamic source that actively induces secondary vortical flows.Induced by the natural adverse PRG on the S1 and S2 stream surfaces,two typical secondary flows,H-S and P-S secondary flows,are clearly presented.To specially suppress these typical secondary flows,a general alternate loading technique(GALT)is proposed,aiming to adjust the real blade loadingδp to control the PRG features.At the blade fore part,theδp on the hub streamline should be slowly increased to avoid breakneck growth of the potential rothalpy to reduce adverse streamwise PRG on the S2 streamsurface.At the blade middle part,theδp should be moderately decreased to reduce adverse streamwise PRG on the S1 streamsurface.At the blade aft part,the difference in theδp between the shroud and hub streamlines should be decreased faster to control the exit uniformity.By applying the GALT to the impeller designs of three typical pump types in hydraulic engineering,the organizational effect of the PRG on fundamental flow structures is proven.The GALT can effectively control the PRG distributions and suppress the secondary flows,thereby widening the pump’s high-efficiency zone,improving flow uniformity and suppressing pressure fluctuations.Compared with the current Z-G method and the ALT,the GALT can meet the requirements of'de-experience'better,thereby enabling the designers to obtain good products explicitly and quickly. | WANG ChaoYue WANG FuJun AN DongSen YAO ZhiFeng XIAO RuoFu LU Li HE ChengLian ZOU ZhiChao | 2021 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2021,64,4: | 7 |
| 2 | Low-temperature NH_(3)-SCR of NO_(x) over MnCeO_(x)/TiO_(2) catalyst:Enhanced activity and SO_(2) tolerance by modifying TiO_(2) with Al_(2)O_(3)显示文摘A series of TiO_(2)-Al_(2)O_(3) composites with Al/Ti molar ratios of 0.1,0.2,and 0.4 were synthesized by a coprecipitation method and used as supports to prepare supported MnCeO_(x) catalysts by an impregnation method.The physico-chemical properties of the samples were extensively characterized by N_(2) physisorption,X-ray diffraction,Raman spectroscopy,scanning electron micro scopy and energy-dispersive Xray spectroscopy element mapping,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,H_(2)-temperature programmed reduction,ammonia temperature programmed desorption,and in-situ diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy.The catalytic activity and resistance to water vapor and SO_(2) of the asprepared catalysts for the SCR of NO_(x) with NH_(3) were evaluated at 50-250℃ and GHSV of 80000 mL/(gcat·h).The results reveal that MnCeO_(x)/TiO_(2)-Al_(2)O_(3) exhibits higher activity and better SO_(2) tolerance than MnCeO_(x)/TiO_(2).Combining with the characterization results,the enhanced activity and SO_(2) tolerance of MnCeO_(x)/TiO_(2)-Al_(2)O_(3) can be mainly attributed to higher relative concentrations of Mn4+and chemisorbed oxygen species,stronger reducibility,and larger adsorption capacity for NH_(3) and NO,which originate from the larger specific surface area and pore volume,higher dispersion of Mn and Ce species compared with MnCeO_(x)/TiO_(2).Moreover,in situ DRIFTS was used to investigate the reaction mechanism,and the results indicate that the NH_(3)-SCR reaction over MnCeO_(x)/TiO_(2) and MnCeO_(x)/TiO_(2)-Al_(2)O_(3) takes place by both the E-R and L-H mechanisms. | Gang Li Dongsen Mao Mengxi Chao Gehua Li Jun Yu Xiaoming Guo | 2021 | Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,7: | 6 |

| 5 | Optical and Radiative Properties of Aerosols during a Severe Haze Episode over the North China Plain in December 2016显示文摘The optical and radiative properties of aerosols during a severe haze episode from 15 to 22 December 2016 over Beijing, Shijiazhuang, and Jiaozuo in the North China Plain were analyzed based on the ground-based and satellite data, meteorological observations, and atmospheric environmental monitoring data. The aerosol optical depth at 500 nm was < 0.30 and increased to > 1.4 as the haze pollution developed. The ?ngstr?m exponent was > 0.80 for most of the study period. The daily single-scattering albedo was > 0.85 over all of the North China Plain on the most polluted days and was > 0.97 on some particular days. The volumes of fine and coarse mode particles during the haze event were approximately 0.05–0.21 and 0.01–0.43 μm3, respectively—that is, larger than those in the time without haze. The daily absorption aerosol optical depth was about 0.01–0.11 in Beijing, 0.01–0.13 in Shijiazhuang, and0.01–0.04 in Jiaozuo, and the average absorption ?ngstr?m exponent varied between 0.6 and 2.0. The aerosol radiative forcing at the bottom of the atmosphere varied from –23 to –227, –34 to –199, and –29 to –191 W m–2 for the whole haze period, while the aerosol radiative forcing at the top of the atmosphere varied from –4 to –98, –10 to –51,and –21 to –143 W m–2 in Beijing, Shijiazhuang, and Jiaozuo, respectively. Satellite observations showed that smoke,polluted dust, and polluted continental components of aerosols may aggravate air pollution during haze episodes.
