| 2 | The Inhibitory Effect of Oridonin on the Growth of Fifteen Human Cancer Cell Lines显示文摘OBJECTIVE To study the inhibitory effect of oridonin on the growth of cancer cells. METHODS Fifteen human cancer cell lines were subjected to various concentrations of oridonin in culture medium. The inhibitory rate of cell growth was measured by the MTT assay, and compared with a negative con- trol and 5-Fu-positive control. RESULTS The 50% inhibiting concentration (IC50) and maximal inhibition (Imax) of oridonin shown by studying the growth of the cancer cell lines were as follows: leukemias (HL60 cells: 3.9 μg/ml and 73.8%, K562 cells: 4.3 μg/ml and 76.2%); esophageal cancers(SHEEC cells: 15.4 μg/ml and 99.2%, Eca109 cells: 15.1 μg/ml and 84.6%, TE1 cells: 4.0 μg/ml and 70.2%); gastric cancers (BGC823 cells: 7.6 μg/ml and 98.7%, SGC7901 cells: 12.3 μg/ml and 85.7%); colon cancers (HT29 cells: 13.6 μg/ml and 97.2%, HCT cells: 14.5 μg/ml and 96.5%); liver cancers (Bel7402 cells: 15.2 μg/ml and 89.2%, HepG2 cells: 7.1 μg/ml and 88.3%); pancreatic cancer (PC3 cells: 11.3 μg/ml and 68.4%); lung cancer (A549 cells: 18.6 μg/ml and 98.0% ); breast cancer (MCF7 cells: 18.4 μg/ml and 84.7%); uterine cervix cancer (Hela cells: 13.7 μg/ml and 98.5%). | 3 | Stage-progressive distribution pattern of the Lungmachi black graptolitic shales from Guizhou to Chongqing, Central China显示文摘The Lungmachi Formation is widely distributed in Guizhou, Chongqing and the adjacent area. It is important for the study of Silurian biostratigraphy and shale-gas investigation. Based on those biostratigraphically well-studied sections from Guiyang to Huayingshan, we reveal the stage-progressive distribution pattern of the Lungmachi black shales. The distribution of the Lungmachi black shales in the studying area can be subdivided into four geographic belts from the south to the north,reflecting the joint effect of regional and global environmental changes. The graptolite depth zonation model was adopted herein to infer the water depth of major graptolite assemblages from the black shales. The changes in the water depth indicate two major stages. The first stage is named the transgressive distribution stage which ranged from the Persculptograptus persculptus Biozone(LM1, upper Hirnantian) to the Coronograptus cyphus Biozone(LM5, upper Rhuddanian), an interval mostly controlled by global sea-level rise. | 5 | Study on seepage and deformation characteristics of coal microstructure by 3D reconstruction of CT images at high temperatures显示文摘To study the seepage and deformation characteristics of coal at high temperatures,coal samples from six different regions were selected and subjected to computed tomography(CT)scanning studies.In conjunction with ANSYS software,3 D reconstruction of CT images was used for the establishment of fluidsolid conjugate heat transfer model and coal thermal deformation model based on the microstructures of coal.In addition,the structure of coal was studied in 2 D and 3 D perspectives,followed by the analysis of seepage and deformation characteristics of coal at high temperatures.The results of this study indicated that porosity positively correlated with the fractal dimension,and the connectivity and seepage performances were roughly identical from 2 D and 3 D perspectives.As the porosity increased,the fractal dimension of coal samples became larger and the pore-fracture structures became more complex.As a result,the permeability of coal samples decreased.In the meantime,fluid was fully heated,generating high-temperature water at outlet.However,when the porosity was low,the outlet temperature was very high.The average deformation of coal skeleton with different pore-fracture structures at high temperatures showed a trend of initial increase and subsequent decrease with the increase of porosity and fractal dimension.The maximum deformation of coal skeleton positively correlated with connectivity but negatively correlated with the fractal dimension. | Gang Wang Xiangjie Qin Dongyang Han Zhiyuan Liu | 2021 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2021,31,2: | 11 |
| 6 | Seismic wave input method for three-dimensional soil-structure dynamic interaction analysis based on the substructure of artificial boundaries显示文摘The method of inputting the seismic wave determines the accuracy of the simulation of soil-structure dynamic interaction. The wave method is a commonly used approach for seismic wave input, which converts the incident wave into equivalent loads on the cutoff boundaries. The wave method has high precision, but the implementation is complicated, especially for three-dimensional models. By deducing another form of equivalent input seismic loads in the fi nite element model, a new seismic wave input method is proposed. In the new method, by imposing the displacements of the free wave fi eld on the nodes of the substructure composed of elements that contain artifi cial boundaries, the equivalent input seismic loads are obtained through dynamic analysis of the substructure. Subsequently, the equivalent input seismic loads are imposed on the artifi cial boundary nodes to complete the seismic wave input and perform seismic analysis of the soil-structure dynamic interaction model. Compared with the wave method, the new method is simplifi ed by avoiding the complex processes of calculating the equivalent input seismic loads. | 8 | Research and application of methods for effectiveness evaluation of mine cooling system显示文摘Regarding the complexity and inconsistency of results in existing evaluation methods of mine cooling system, this paper clarifies the advantages, disadvantages and application of various mine cooling systems through principle analysis, and divides all the cooling systems into air-cooling, ice-cooling and water-cooling according to the transportation of cold energy. On this basis, the paper proposes a simple and efficient evaluation method for mine cooling system. The first index of this method is the air temperature at point C which is 15 m away from the return wind corner at working face. A cooling system will be judged ineligible if the air temperature at point C is above 30 °C during operation, because in this case, the combustible gases in coal will sharply overflow, inducing gas incidents. Based on the preliminary judgment of the first index, another two evaluation indexes are proposed based on the cooling ability and dehumidification of an airflow volume of 1000 m3/min at point C to evaluate the investment and operation cost of mine cooling system. | 9 | Transformative hyaluronic acid-based active targeting supramolecular nanoplatform improves long circulation and enhances cellular uptake in cancer therapy显示文摘Hyaluronic acid(HA) is a natural ligand of tumor-targeted drug delivery systems(DDS) due to the relevant CD44 receptor overexpressed on tumor cell membranes. However, other HA receptors(HARE and LYVE-1) are also overexpressing in the reticuloendothelial system(RES). Therefore,polyethylene glycol(PEG) modification of HA-based DDS is necessary to reduce RES capture.Unfortunately, pegylation remarkably inhibits tumor cellular uptake and endosomal escapement,significantly compromising the in vivo antitumor efficacy. Herein, we developed a Dox-loaded HA-based transformable supramolecular nanoplatform(Dox/HCVBP) to overcome this dilemma. Dox/HCVBP contains a tumor extracellular acidity-sensitive detachable PEG shell achieved by a benzoic imine linkage.The in vitro and in vivo investigations further demonstrated that Dox/HCVBP could be in a 'stealth' state at blood stream for a long circulation time due to the buried HA ligands and the minimized nonspecific interaction by PEG shell. However, it could transform into a 'recognition' state under the tumor acidic microenvironment for efficient tumor cellular uptake due to the direct exposure of active targeting ligand HA following PEG shell detachment. | 13 | Insight into selective removal of copper from high-concentration nickel solutions with XPS and DFT:New technique to prepare 5N-nickel with chelating resin显示文摘An efficient and profitable separation process was proposed to prepare 5N(the purity of the metal solution reaches 99.999%) high-purity nickel from 3N nickel-solutions using Purolite S984. The adsorption performance of this superior resin, especially its selectivity for metal ions,was explored quantitatively. The maximum adsorption capacity for copper was 2.286 mmol/g calculated by the Langmuir model, which was twice as large as that for nickel. In the binary systems, the adsorption capacity for nickel was decreased by 45%, indicating direct competition for the active sites. The infinite separation factor for copper versus nickel exceeded 300, revealing the feasibility of preparing5N-level high-purity nickel solutions, which was further verified using the 800 BV(bed volume) effluent in the column dynamic process.According to the cost–benefit analysis, purification contributed to a profit of approximately 60,000 USD per cycle, and the investment return period was less than 1/3 years. Density functional theory analysis confirmed that four nitrogen atoms would be involved in the coordination complex and thus a structure involving two five-membered rings could be achieved. | 15 | Experimental study on ageing characteristics of electric locomotive ethylene propylene rubber cable under mechanical-thermal combined action显示文摘The train-mounted ethylene propylene rubber(EPR)cables of electric locomotive are partly restricted by the body structure and spatial layout and are in a combined envi-ronment of strong mechanical bending and thermal ageing.The degradation character-istics of the insulation layer have not yet received sufficient attention.In order to study the ageing characteristics of EPR cables of electric locomotive under the combined action of machine and thermal,this paper designs a bending-thermal combined ageing test platform for cables with a temperature of 135°C,bending diameter of 393.52 mm,590.28 mm and unbending cables,and tests after ageing.The product has been tested by infrared spectroscopy,scanning electron microscopy,elongation at break and broadband dielectric spectroscopy.The research results show that the bending outer part of the train-mounted EPR cable is a pain point.Under the combined action of bending and thermal,whether it is microstructure or macro performance,the degradation rate and degree of the bending of outer insulation layer are greater than the value under a single thermal ageing condition.Mechanical bending has an accelerating effect on the ageing of the EPR insulation layer.The research results can provide a reference for the ageing characteristics of the train-mounted EPR cable under the bending-thermal synergy and the evaluation of operating state of the train-mounted EPR cable under bending-thermal operating conditions. | Lijun Zhou Cong Liu Shengwei Quan Xiangyu Zhang Dongyang Wang | 2022 | High Voltage2022,7,4: | 3 |
| 16 | A scientometric review of biochar preparation research from 2006 to 2019显示文摘Biochar is the carbon-rich product obtained from the thermochemical conversion of biomass under oxygen-limited condi-tions.Preparation methods contribute to biochar properties,which are widely concerned in the agronomic and environmental benefits of agro-ecosystems.This research aims to use bibliometrics methods to comprehensively and objectively analyze the research trends in the global biochar production field from 2006 to 2019 based on the Web of Science Core Collection database.The results showed that 1434 papers related to biochar preparation were published,which gradually increased each year.The research topics were diversified,which were mainly divided into“Environmental Sciences and Ecology,”“Engineering”and“Agriculture”.Moreover,Bioresource Technology was the most published journal contained biochar preparation.Authors from China had the most publications,followed by the US,Australia and the UK.Meanwhile,Yong Sik Ok from Korea University contributed most of the publications and had the highest H-index.Keywords analysis indicated that biochar preparation by pyrolysis was a current hotspot,of which microwave and hydrothermal were a future research trend.Besides,gasification would be used to develop new biomass energy.Biochar has the characteristics of high pH,high specific surface area,high carbon content,and rich functional groups.It is mainly used in soil improvement,water pollutant adsorption,carbon sequestration and emission reduction,and energy storage materials,etc.Furthermore,raw materials,pyrolysis temperature and pyrolysis time will also affect its characteristics and applications.It is expected that this study may provide insight into the future research interests regarding biochar preparation. | Yuxin Jiao Dongyang Li Ming Wang Tiancheng Gong Mengyang Sun Tianxue Yang | 2021 | Biochar2021,3,3: | 3 |

| 18 | A Hg(Ⅱ)-specific probe for imaging application in living systems and quantitative analysis in environmental/food samples显示文摘Mercury ions are highly toxic and can accumulate along food chains in water,soil,crops and animals.Effective detection of mercury ions in various media is of great significance for maintaining the ecological environment and protecting people's health.In this work,a mercury ions specific fluorescent probe was developed by a simple one-step reaction of commercial substrates of 4-chloro-7-nitro-2,1,3-benzoxadiazole and 1-(2-aminoethyl)-4-methylpiperazine.Investigation on sensing behavior showed that this probe had high sensitivity and selectivity towards mercury ions.Furthermore,this probe could be used as a tool to track the level of mercury ions in living system.In living cells,the probe with green emission emitted a bright red fluorescence when it was bound to mercury ions.In Arabidopsis thaliana,similar red emission could be detected from the root tip and stalk when A.thaliana was grown in culture medium containing mercury ions.The imaging in zebrafish showed that mercury ions were mainly concentrated in the stomach and head of zebrafish.Especially,this probe could be applied in quantitative analysis of mercury ions in tap water,green tea,sea shrimp and soil.This work provided a practical tool for the detection of mercury ions in living systems and quantitative analysis in real samples. | Guangjin Li Jiali Wang Dongyang Li Shenghua Liu Jun Yin Zhibing Lai Guangfu Yang | 2021 | Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,4: | 2 |
| 19 | Towards win-win: weighted-Voronoi-diagram based channel quantization for security enhancement in downlink cloud-RAN with limited CSI feedback显示文摘Physical layer(PHY) security is recently proved to enable improving the security of wireless communication networks. In downlink frequency division duplex(FDD) cloud radio access network(C-RAN), the performance of PHY security highly relies on the channel state information(CSI) which is usually acquired through the codebook-quantization-based technique at the transceiver. However, the conventional quantization method aggravates the leakage of privacy information in C-RAN under the eavesdropping environment. In this paper, a novel channel quantization method is investigated to improve the secrecy-rate performance of C-RAN by exploiting the high-dimension space geometry. Based on this method, it is proved that when the statistical distribution of the channel matrices of both the legitimate user and the eavesdropper is exploited, a win-win situation can be created where secrecy-rate gains are improved without sacrificing beamforming gains from the point of view of ergodic rate. Particularly, a secrecy-oriented criterion is devised to implement the proposed method for generating codebooks. Then a weighted Voronoi diagram(WVD) is formulated on the complex Grassmann manifold and finally, a vector quantization based algorithm is proposed to build up novel quantization codebooks iteratively.
