12018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents显示文摘Syncope belongs to the transient loss of consciousness(TLOC), characterized by a rapid onset, short duration, and spontaneous complete recovery. It is common in children and adolescents, accounting for 1% to 2% of emergency department visits.Recurrent syncope can seriously affect children's physical and mental health, learning ability and quality of life and sometimes cardiac syncope even poses a risk of sudden death. The present guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was developed for guiding a better clinical management of pediatric syncope. Based on the globally recent development and the evidence-based data in China, 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was jointly prepared by the Pediatric Cardiology Society, Chinese Pediatric Society, Chinese Medical Association(CMA)/Committee on Pediatric Syncope, Pediatricians Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Committee on Pediatric Cardiology, Chinese College of Cardiovascular Physicians, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Pediatric Cardiology Society, Beijing Pediatric Society, Beijing Medical Association(BMA). 2Development of a modified Mooney-Rivlin constitutive model for rubber to investigate the effects of aging and marine corrosion on seismic isolated bearings显示文摘In this study,aging and marine corrosion tests of a large number of rubber material and rubber bearings have been carried out.The constitutive Mooney-Rivlin model parameters for a rubber isolated bearing have been determined.By applying the least-square method to the experimental data,the relationships between the aging time and the marine corrosion time with the constants in the constitutive model for a rubber bearing have been derived.Next,the Mooney-Rivlin model has been modified accordingly.Further,using the modified Mooney-Rivlin model and the Abaqus software,the performance of the rubber isolated bearings has been simulated.The simulation results have been compared to the experimental results so as to verify the accuracy of the modified model.The comparison shows that the maximum errors for the vertical and horizontal stiffnesses are 16.8%and 0.49%,respectively.Since these errors are considered acceptable,the accuracy of the modified constitutive model can be considered verified.The results of this study can provide theoretical support for the performance study on rubber isolated bearings under the complex ocean environment and the life-cycle performance evaluation of bridges and other offshore structures.Zhao Guifeng Ma Yuhong Li Yanmin Luo Jiarun Du Chang 2017Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2017,16,4:8

11Effects of Synbiotics and Antibiotics on Nutrient Digestibility and Serum Antioxidant Function of Weaned Piglets显示文摘The paper was to investigate the effects of synbiotics and antibiotics on nutrient digestibility and serum antioxidant function of weaned piglets. Totally216 individuals of 35-day-old piglets were randomly divided into three groups,six replicates for each group,and each replicate contained 12 piglets. The first group was antibiotics group,20 g/t colistin sulfate( active ingredients) were added in the basal diet; the second group was synbiotics group,250 g/t synbiotics( containing xylooligosaccharides, oligochitosan, Bacillus subtilis and Clostridium butyricum) were added in the basal diet; the third group was combination group,20 g/t colistin sulfate and 250 g/t synbiotics were added in the basal diet. The whole trial lasted 28 d. The results showed that there was no difference between synbiotics group and antibiotic group in growth performance,nutrients digestibility or antioxidant indicators( P > 0. 05). Compared with the piglets in synbiotics group and antibiotic group,piglets in combination group had higher digestibility of dry matter and organic matter,and higher T-SOD activity in serum( P < 0. 05). It is concluded that synbiotics can replace antibiotics for piglets at 35-63 days of age. 12Indocyanine green-/TLR7 agonist-constructed thermosensitive liposome for low-temperature PTT induced synergistic immunotherapy of colorectal cancer显示文摘Colorectal cancer(CRC)is a lethal malignancy with a high mortality rate due to its low immunogenicity,the strong immunosuppressive milieu and poor drug permeability.To overcome these obstacles,a cascade synergistic nanosystem(denoted as R837/ICG@Lip)was developed via self-assembly of heater indocyanine green(ICG)and toll-like receptor-7 agonist imiquimod(R837)into thermosensitive liposome for simultaneous induction of immunogenic cell death(ICD)and reversing of suppressive tumor microenvironment.The obtained nanoparticles exhibited NIR-triggered drug release,good photothermal conversion efficiency and phototoxicity towards CT26 colorectal cancer cells.In vivo results reveal that the R837/ICG@Lip could be effectively accumulated in CT26 subcutaneous tumors and the draining lymph nodes.More importantly,R837/ICG@Lip-mediated low-temperature photothermal therapy triggers ICD,promotes the maturation of host dendritic cells(DCs),and subsequently amplifies adaptive antitumor T-cell responses,resulting in‘Cold to Hot'transition.Besides directly affecting immune cells,the secretion of some immune-related cytokines further indirectly boosted anti-cancer immunity.After combining with the indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase(IDO)inhibitor,the systemic antitumor immune response was further augmented,achieving best tumor inhibition effects.Thus,low-temperature mediated photoimmunotherapy targeting multiple antitumor immune pathways boost synergistic antitumor immunity of tolerance tumors.Xiang Sun Yanmin Wang Tao Du Qiang Zhang Shuo Li Qinda Chen Miao Wang Xiumin Wang Lei Ren Xueqin Zhao 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,5:0
13Effects of Low Protein Diets on Nutrient Digestibility and Excretion in Finishing Pigs显示文摘The experiment was conducted to study the effects of low protein diets on nutrient digestibility and excretion of finishing pigs. For the 30-d trial,fortytwo duroc × landrace × yorkshire( DLY) finishing pigs with the initial weight of( 91. 13 ± 1. 64) kg were randomly divided into two groups,with three replicates in each group. The pigs in the two groups were fed with different crude protein( CP) levels( control groups: 15. 49% and low protein groups: 12. 59%). The results showed that:( 1) The digestibility of dry matter and crude fat( CF) in low protein groups were increased significantly( P < 0. 01),but there were no significant differences in digestibility among CP,calcium( Ca) and phosphorus( P);( 2) The digestibility of arginine( Arg) in low protein groups were 2. 02%( P <0. 05) lower than that in control groups. However,the digestibility of other amino acid were no difference between two groups;( 3) The nitrogen( N) excretion in low protein groups was 23. 96%( P < 0. 05) lower than that in control groups,but there were no significant differences in excretion among organic matter,P and Ca( P > 0. 05). 15Enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli O157:H7 — Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province, China, 2001–2021显示文摘Escherichia coli(E.coli)that produce Shiga toxin or verocytotoxin is commonly known as Shiga toxinproducing E.coli(STEC)or verocytotoxin-producing E.coli(VTEC).Hemorrhagic enteritis(HC),caused by foodborne zoonotic pathogen enterohemorrhagic E.coli(EHEC)O157:H7,was first reported in the United States in 1982 and has since caused outbreaks of human infections in various countries such as Canada,Japan,and China.In China,the pathogen was isolated from the feces of patients with diarrhea in Xuzhou City,Jiangsu Province in 1986.It later caused an outbreak in Xuzhou and adjacent areas from 1999 to 2000(1).Measures that included investigation of diarrhea patients,identification of the pathogen,and clearing epidemiological characteristics were implemented to control the spread of the disease.Subsequently,a surveillance program was reformulated in 2001 in Tongshan District,Xuzhou City based on the national O157:H7 surveillance program and the reality of Jiangsu Province.The program included 18 towns for diarrhea patients and food surveillance,and 3 major animal farming towns for animal surveillance.The program has led to changes in the detection rates and virulence genes of the strains.In this study,we analyzed O157:H7 surveillance data from 2001 to 2021 to predict possible transmission risks.Wenwen Zhu Hui Guo Jingjing Xu Weiwei Wu Yanmin Yi Jiao Wang Ran Duan Jing Tong Yangguang Du 2023China CDC weekly2023,5,14:0

17Studies on the Construction Parameter of an Artificial Occluded Cell for In-situ Inspection of the Propagation Rate of Localized Corrosion显示文摘An artificial localized corrosion system is assembled and some parameters related to the localized corrosion in active dissolution state (i.e., non-passive state) have been studied. The results showed that the developed electrochemical system can satisfactorily imitate a naturally formed localized corrosion and the coupling current can indicate the maximum localized propagating rate. In this artificial system, the anodic dissolution reaction followed the auto-catalytic mechanism. The localized corrosion current density was dependent on the area ratio R of the cathode to the occluded anode. While R was equal to or more than 6, the coupling current reached at a maximum value and did not alter with the increase in R-value. Therefore, R=7 is chosen as one of these optimum parameters used in constructing the system, with which the biggest galvanic current might be obtained. In contrast, the thickness of the polymer filler separating the occluded anode area from the bulk electrolyte solution and the volume of the occluded anode area did not affect the corrosion current obviously.
