1Neuroprotective Autophagic Flux Induced by Hyperbaric Oxygen Preconditioning is Mediated by Cystatin C显示文摘We have previously reported that Cystatin C(CysC) is a pivotal mediator in the neuroprotection induced by hyperbaric oxygen(HBO) preconditioning; however,the underlying mechanism and how CysC changes after stroke are not clear. In the present study, we demonstrated that CysC expression was elevated as early as 3 h after reperfusion, and this was further enhanced by HBO preconditioning. Concurrently, LC3-II and Beclin-1, two positive-markers for autophagy induction, exhibited increases similar to CysC, while knockdown of CysC blocked these elevations. As a marker of autophagy inhibition, p62 was downregulated by HBO preconditioning and this was blocked by CysC knockdown. Besides, the beneficial effects of preserving lysosomal membrane integrity and enhancing autolysosome formation induced by HBO preconditioning were abolished in CysC-/-rats.Furthermore, we demonstrated that exogenous CysC reduced the neurological deficits and infarct volume after brain ischemic injury, while 3-methyladenine partially reversed this neuroprotection. 2Deer Body Adaptive Threshold Segmentation Algorithm Based on Color Space显示文摘In large-scale deer farming image analysis,K-means or maximum between-class variance(Otsu)algorithms can be used to distinguish the deer from the background.However,in an actual breeding environment,the barbed wire or chain-link fencing has a certain isolating effect on the deer which greatly interferes with the identification of the individual deer.Also,when the target and background grey values are similar,the multiple background targets cannot be completely separated.To better identify the posture and behaviour of deer in a deer shed,we used digital image processing to separate the deer from the background.To address the problems mentioned above,this paper proposes an adaptive threshold segmentation algorithm based on color space.First,the original image is pre-processed and optimized.On this basis,the data are enhanced and contrasted.Next,color space is used to extract the several backgrounds through various color channels,then the adaptive space segmentation of the extracted part of the color space is performed.Based on the segmentation effect of the traditional Otsu algorithm,we designed a comparative experiment that divided the four postures of turning,getting up,lying,and standing,and successfully separated multiple target deer from the background.Experimental results show that compared with K-means,Otsu and hue saturation value(HSV)+K-means,this method is better in performance and accuracy for adaptive segmentation of deer in artificial breeding scenes and can be used to separate artificially cultivated deer from their backgrounds.Both the subjective and objective aspects achieved good segmentation results.This article lays a foundation for the effective identification of abnormal behaviour in sika deer.Yuheng Sun Ye Mu Qin Feng Tianli Hu He Gong Shijun Li Jing Zhou 2020Computers, Materials & Continua2020,,8:5
3Occurrence and Epidemic Regularity of Wheat Stripe Rust in Nanchong City of Sichuan Province显示文摘In order to realize monitoring and early warning and comprehensive management of wheat stripe rust and to reduce its occurrence in Nanchong City,the occurrence and epidemic regularity of wheat stripe rust in Nanchong was studied by system monitoring and general survey,resistance identification,physiological race monitoring and meteorological data analysis. The initial occurrence location and spreading pathway of Puccinia striiformis f. sp. tritici( Pst) were first verified;there were two infection peaks of wheat stripe rust in Nanchong and one to three epidemic peaks in fields,in which the occurrence area of the first epidemic peak played a pivotal role in disease prevalence in that year; the cumulative occurrence area in late January was positively correlated with annual occurrence area,with the correlation coefficient of 0. 769; the prediction model for infected field rate,diseased plant rate and annual occurrence area was established. The internal reason for heavy occurrence and prevalence of wheat stripe rust in Nanchong was the decline or loss of wheat resistance against stripe rust,as well as the appearance of physiological races of Pst,which later became dominant races. Large fluctuation of temperature in warm winter and spring and more fog and dew days were external reasons responsible for prevalence of stripe rust. 4Phenylenediamine-formaldehyde chemistry derived N-doped hollow carbon spheres for high-energy-density supercapacitors显示文摘Porous carbon spheres represent an ideal family of electrode materials forsupercapacitors because of the high surface area,ideal conductivity,negligible aggregation,and ability to achieve space efficient packing.However,the development of new synthetic methods towards porous carbon spheres still remains a great challenge.Herein,N-doped hollow carbon spheres with an ultrahigh surface area of2044 m^(2)/g have been designed based on the phenylenediamine-formaldehyde chemistry.When applied in symmetric supercapacitors with ionic electrolyte(EMIBF_4),the obtained N-doped hollow carbon spheres demonstrate a high capacitance of 234 F/g,affording an ultrahigh energy density of 114.8 Wh/kg.Excellent cycling stability has also been achieved.The impressive capacitive performances make the phenylenediamine-formaldehyde resin derived N-doped carbon a promising candidate electrode material for supercapacitors.Ming Xu Yuheng Liu Qiang Yu Shihao Feng Liang Zhou Liqiang Mai 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,1:2

9Research Article In situ reconstruction induced oxygen-deficient multiphase Cu based species hybridized with Ni single atoms as tandem platform for CO_(2) electroreduction显示文摘Tandem catalysis,capable of decoupling individual steps,provides a feasible way to build a high-efficiency CO_(2) electro-conversion system for multicarbons(C_(2+)).The construction of electrocatalytic materials is one of focusing issues.Herein,we fabricated a single atom involved multivalent oxide-derived Cu composite material and found it inclined to reconstruct into oxygen-deficient multiphase Cu based species hybridized with monatomic Ni on N doped C matrix.In this prototype,rapid CO generation and C-C coupling are successively achieved on NiN4 sites and surface amorphized Cu species with defects,resembling a micro-production line.In this way,the in situ formed tandem catalyst exhibited a high Faradaic efficiency(FE)of~78%for C_(2+)products along with satisfactory durability over 50 h.Particularly,the reconstruction-induced amorphous layer with abundant asymmetric sites should be favorable to improve the ethanol selectivity(FE:63%),which is about 10 times higher than that of the non-tandem Cu-based contrast material.This work offers a new approach for manipulating tandem catalyst systems towards enhancing C_(2+)products.Juzhe Liu Yuheng Wang Pengpeng Mo Feng Yang Kaiqi Jiang Zhixiang Cheng Yuxuan Liu Zhiyi Sun Zheng Liu Yimei Zhang Wenxing Chen 2024Nano Research2024,17,5:0

11A novel SSA-CCA framework for muscle artifact removal from ambulatory EEG显示文摘Background Electroencephalography(EEG)has gained popularity in various types of biomedical applications as a signal source that can be easily acquired and conveniently analyzed.However,owing to a complex scalp electrical environment,EEG is often polluted by diverse artifacts,with electromyography artifacts being the most difficult to remove.In particular,for ambulatory EEG devices with a restricted number of channels,dealing with muscle artifacts is a challenge.Methods In this study,we propose a simple but effective novel scheme that combines singular spectrum analysis(SSA)and canonical correlation analysis(CCA)algorithms for single-channel problems and then extend it to a few channel case by adding additional combining and dividing operations to channels.Results We evaluated our proposed framework on both semi-simulated and real-life data and compared it with some state-of-the art methods.The results demonstrate this novel framework's superior performance in both single-channel and few-channel cases.Conclusions This promising approach,based on its effectiveness and low time cost,is suitable for real-world biomedical signal processing applications.Yuheng FENG Qingze LIU Aiping LIU Ruobing QIAN Xun CHEN 2022Virtual Reality & Intelligent Hardware2022,4,1:0
12Natural variations of OsAUX5,a target gene of OsWRKY78,control the neutral essential amino acid content in rice grains显示文摘Grain essential amino acid(EAA)levels contribute to rice nutritional quality.However,the molecular mechanisms underlying EAA accumulation and natural variation in rice grains remain unclear.Here we report the identification of a previously unrecognized auxin influx carrier subfamily gene,OsAUX5,which encodes an amino acid transporter that functions in uptake of multiple amino acids.We identified an elite haplotype of Pro::OsAUX5^(Hap2) that enhances grain EAA accumulation without an apparent negative effect on agronomic traits.Natural variations of OsAUX5 occur in the cis elements of its promoter,which are differentially activated because of the different binding affinity between OsWRKY78 and the W-box,contributing to grain EAA variation among rice varieties.The two distinct haplotypes were shown to have originated from different Oryza rufipogon progenitors,which contributed to the divergence between japonica and indica.Introduction of the indica-type Pro::OsAUX5^(Hap2) genotype into japonica could significantly increase EAA levels,indicating that indica-type Pro::OsAUX5^(Hap2) can be utilized to increase grain EAAs of japonica varieties.Collectively,our study uncovers an WRKY78–OsAUX5-based regulatory mechanism controlling grain EAA accumulation and provides a potential target for breeding EAA-rich rice.Yuheng Shi Yuanyuan Zhang Yangyang Sun Ziyang Xie Yu Luo Qiyuan Long Jiahui Feng Xueqing Liu Bi Wang Dujun He Junxia Ren Peizhen Guo Junwei Xing Liqiang He Alisdair RFernie Wei Chen Xianqing Liu Yuehua Luo Cheng Jin Jie Luo 2023Molecular Plant2023,16,2:0
13Visualization of Ferroelectric Domains in Thin Films of Molecular Materials Using Confocal Micro-Raman Spectroscopy显示文摘Ferroelectrics are an important class of functional materials.Among all their unique properties,the study of their ferroelectric domains and domain walls is of great interest due to their importance in ferroelectric applications.There are many methods to characterize ferroelectric domains,namely,scanning probe microscopy,optical microscopy,electron microscopy,etc.Currently,newly emerged molecular ferroelectrics are attracting much attention from chemists,physicists and researchers in material sciences due to their structural flexibility,light mass,simple fabrication,etc.However,for the characterization of molecular ferroelectric domains,most conventional methods require either a complicated preparation process or direct contact between physical probes and material surfaces,limiting the development of molecular ferroelectric materials.In this report,we have demonstrated that confocal micro-Raman spectroscopy,as a nondestructive and noncontact in-situ method,is very suitable for studying the ferroelectric polarization and structures of domains in molecular ferroelectrics.Taking recently reported molecular ferroelectric trimethylchloromethyl ammonium trichlorocadmium(II)(TMCM-CdCl_(3))as an example,the non-180°domains have been characterized and visualized at different temperatures.Such a simple and extendable method requires minimum sample preparation,which would further benefit the research of molecular ferroelectric domain engineering and promote the miniaturization and integration of molecular ferroelectric films.ZHOU Wenqin FENG Zijie XIONG Yuan DU Guowei LIN Xiumei SU Qidong LOU Yuheng AN Shili YOU Yumeng 2022Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2022,38,6:0
