1Rational Fabrication and Biomedical Application of Biomolecule-Conjugated AIEgens through Click Reaction显示文摘Recently,the issue of cancer has attracted extensive attention.Early diagnosis and timely therapy are important for cancer treatment.And lots of advanced fluorescent probes have been applied to cancer theranostics.However,the further development of these probes is limited by the disadvantages of poor targeting,weak sensitivity and photobleaching.Fortunately,the emergence of biomolecule-conjugated fluorescent probes with aggregationinduced emission properties has taken innovative impetus to the cancer theranostics.This review summarizes the rational fabrication and biomedical applications of biomolecule-conjugated A1E luminogens(AIEgens)based on'click reaction'over the past decade.In the meantime,the challenges of biomolecule-conjugated AIEgens in the field of biomedicine are also discussed.Qiming Yuan Yong Cheng Xiaoding Lou Fan Xia 2019Chinese Journal of Chemistry2019,37,10:3
2Evaluation of Molecular Structural Effects on Needle Coke Mesophase Stacking显示文摘Molecular simulations were performed to investigate the molecular structural effects on needle coke mesophase stacking.The simulation results showed that the stacking states of anthracene trimer and tetramer accumulations were orderly,while the stacking states of anthracene dimer,pentamer,and hexamer accumulations were disorderly.Anthracene trimer and tetramer in the model compounds were two of the most ideal needle coke mesophase constituents.It was also found that the introduction of methyl side chains in anthracene trimer derivatives was not conducive to the formation of a mesophase crystal.To sum up,the molecules which had similar structures to anthracene trimer or tetramer with no alkyl chains are ideal constituents of needle coke mesophase.Yang Haiyang Wang Chunlu Zhou Han Wang Lixin Ren Qiang Fan Qiming 2020China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2020,22,3:3
3Multi-label Image Classification via Coarse-to-Fine Attention显示文摘Great efforts have been made by using deep neural networks to recognize multi-label images.Since multi-label image classification is very complicated,many studies seek to use the attention mechanism as a kind of guidance.Conventional attention-based methods always analyzed images directly and aggressively,which is difficult to well understand complicated scenes.We propose a global/local attention method that can recognize a multi-label image from coarse to fine by mimicking how human-beings observe images.Our global/local attention method first concentrates on the whole image,and then focuses on its local specific objects.We also propose a joint max-margin objective function,which enforces that the minimum score of positive labels should be larger than the maximum score of negative labels horizontally and vertically.This function further improve our multi-label image classification method.We evaluate the effectiveness of our method on two popular multi-label image datasets(i.e.,Pascal VOC and MS-COCO).Our experimental results show that our method outperforms state-of-the-art methods.LYU Fan LI Linyan Victor S.Sheng FU Qiming HU Fuyuan 2019Chinese Journal of Electronics2019,28,6:3

6Chronic hypoperfusion due to intracranial large artery stenosis is not associated with cerebralβ-amyloid deposition and brain atrophy显示文摘Background:Insufficient cerebral perfusion is suggested to play a role in the development of Alzheimer disease(AD).However,there is a lack of direct evidence indicating whether hypoperfusion causes or aggravates AD pathology.We investigated the effect of chronic cerebral hypoperfusion on AD-related pathology in humans.Methods:We enrolled a group of cognitively normal patients(median age:64 years)with unilateral chronic cerebral hypoperfusion.Regions of interest with the most pronounced hypoperfusion changes were chosen in the hypoperfused region and were then mirrored in the contralateral hemisphere to create a control region with normal perfusion.11C-Pittsburgh compound-positron emission tomography standard uptake ratios and brain atrophy indices were calculated from the computed tomography images of each patient.Results:The median age of the 10 participants,consisting of 4 males and 6 females,was 64 years(47-76 years).We found that there were no differences in standard uptake ratios of the cortex(volume of interest[VOI]:P=0.721,region of interest[ROI]:P=0.241)and grey/white ratio(VOI:P=0.333,ROI:P=0.445)and brain atrophy indices(Bicaudate,Bifrontal,Evans,Cella,Cella media,and Ventricular index,P>0.05)between the hypoperfused regions and contralateral normally perfused regions in patients with unilateral chronic cerebral hypoperfusion.Conclusion:Our findings suggest that chronic hypoperfusion due to large vessel stenosis may not directly induce cerebralβ-amyloid deposition and neurodegeneration in humans.Dongyu Fan Huiyun Li Dongwan Chen Yang Chen Xu Yi Heng Yang Qianqian Shi Fangyang Jiao Yi Tang Qiming Li Fangyang Wang Shunan Wang Rongbing Jin Fan Zeng Yanjiang Wang 2022Chinese Medical Journal2022,,5:1

8Multiplexed imaging of tumor immune microenvironmental markers in locally advanced or metastatic non-small-cell lung cancer characterizes the features of response to PD-1 blockade plus chemotherapy显示文摘Background:Although programmed cell death 1(PD-1)blockade plus chemotherapy can significantly prolong the progression-free survival(PFS)and overall survival(OS)in first-line settings in patients with driver-negative advanced non-small-cell lung cancer(NSCLC),the predictive biomarkers remain undetermined.Here,we investigated the predictive value of tumor immune microenvironmental marker expression to characterize the response features to PD-1 blockade plus chemotherapy.Methods:Tumor tissue samples at baseline were prospectively collected from 144 locally advanced or metastatic NSCLC patients without driver gene alterations who received camrelizumab plus chemotherapy or chemotherapy alone.Tumor immune microenvironmental markers,including PD-1 ligand(PDL1),CD8,CD68,CD4 and forkhead box P3,were assessed using multiplex immunofluorescence(mIF)assays.Kaplan-Meier curveswere used to determine treatment outcome differences according to their expression status.Mutational profiles were compared between tumors with distinct expression levels of these markers and their combinations.Results:Responders had significantly higher CD8/PD-L1(P=0.015)or CD68/PD-L1 co-expression levels(P=0.021)than non-responders in the camrelizumab plus chemotherapy group,while no difference was observed in the chemotherapy group.Patients with high CD8/PD-L1 or CD68/PD-L1 co-expression level was associated with significantly longer PFS(P=0.002,P=0.024;respectively)and OS(P=0.006,P=0.026;respectively)than those with low co-expression in camrelizumab plus chemotherapy group.When comparing survival in the camrelizumab plus chemotherapy with chemotherapy by CD8/PD-L1 co-expression stratification,significantly better PFS(P=0.003)and OS(P=0.032)were observed in high co-expression subgroups.The predictive value of CD8/PD-L1 and CD68/PD-L1 co-expression remained statistically significant for PFS and OS when adjusting clinicopathological features.Although the prevalence of TP53 or KRAS mutations was similar between patients with and without CD8/PD-L1 or CD68/PD-L1 co-expression,the positive groups had a significantly higher proportion of TP53/KRAS co-mutations than the negative groups(both 13.0%vs.0.0%,P=0.023).Notably,enriched PI3K(P=0.012)and cell cycle pathway(P=0.021)were found in the CD8/PD-L1 co-expression group.Conclusion:Tumor immune microenvironmental marker expression,especially CD8/PD-L1 or CD68/PD-L1 co-expression,was associated with the efficacy of PD-1 blockade plus chemotherapy as first-line treatment in patients with advanced NSCLC.Fengying Wu Tao Jiang Gongyan Chen Yunchao Huang Jianying Zhou Lizhu Lin Jifeng Feng Zhehai Wang Yongqian Shu Jianhua Shi Yi Hu Qiming Wang Ying Cheng Jianhua Chen Xiaoyan Lin Yongsheng Wang Jianan Huang Jiuwei Cui Lejie Cao Yunpeng Liu Yiping Zhang Yueyin Pan Jun Zhao LiPing Wang Jianhua Chang Qun Chen Xiubao Ren Wei Zhang Yun Fan Zhiyong He Jian Fang Kangsheng Gu Xiaorong Dong Tao Zhang Wei Shi Jianjun Zou Xuejuan Bai Shengxiang Ren Caicun Zhou 2022Cancer Communications2022,42,12:1

13ASER:Animal Sex Reversal Database显示文摘Sex reversal,representing extraordinary sexual plasticity during the life cycle,not only triggers reproduction in animals but also affects reproductive and endocrine system-related diseases and cancers in humans.Sex reversal has been broadly reported in animals;however,an integrated resource hub of sex reversal information is still lacking.Here,we constructed a comprehensive database named ASER(Animal Sex Reversal)by integrating sex reversal-related data of 18 species from teleostei to mammalia.We systematically collected 40,018 published papers and mined the sex reversal-associated genes(SRGs),including their regulatory networks,from 1611 core papers.We annotated homologous genes and computed conservation scores for whole genomes across the 18 species.Furthermore,we collected available RNA-seq datasets and investigated the expression dynamics of SRGs during sex reversal or sex determination processes.In addition,we manually annotated 550 in situ hybridization(ISH),fluorescence in situ hybridization(FISH),and im-munohistochemistry(IHC)images of SRGs from the literature and described their spatial expression in the gonads.Collectively,ASER provides a unique and integrated resource for researchers to query and reuse organized data to explore the mechanisms and applications of SRGs in animal breeding and human health.The ASER database is publicly available at http://aser.ihb.ac.cn/.Yangyang Li Zonggui Chen Hairong Liu Qiming Li Xing Lin Shuhui Ji Rui Li Shaopeng Li Weiliang Fan Haiping Zhao Zuoyan Zhu Wei Hu Yu Zhou Daji Luo 2021Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2021,19,6:0

18Synergistic effect of V_(2)O_(5)and Bi_(2)O_(3) on the grain boundary structure of high-frequency NiCuZn ferrite ceramics显示文摘High-frequency soft magnetic ferrite ceramics are desired in miniaturized and efficient power electronics but remain extremely challenging to deploy on account of the power loss(Pcv)at megahertz frequencies.Here,we prepared NiCuZn ferrite with superior high-frequency properties by V_(2)O_(5)and Bi_(2)O_(3)synergistic doping,which proves to be a potent pathway to reduce Pcv of the ferrite at megahertz frequencies.The sample doped with 800 ppm V_(2)O_(5)and 800 ppm Bi_(2)O_(3)yielded the most optimized magnetic properties with a Pcv of 113 kW/m^(3)(10 MHz,5 mT,25℃),an initial permeability(μi)of 89,and a saturation induction(Bs)of 340 mT,which is at the forefront of the reported results.These outstanding properties are closely related to the notable grain boundary structure,which features a new type of nano-Bi_(2)Fe_(4)O_(9)phase around ferrite grains and a Ca/Si/V/O amorphous layer.Our results indicate great strides in correlating the grain boundary structure with multiple-ion doping and set the scene for the developing high-frequency soft magnet ferrites.Xiuyuan FAN Guohua BAI Zhenhua ZHANG Qiming CHEN Jiaying JINa Jiafeng XUa Xuefeng ZHANG Mi YAN 2022Journal of Advanced Ceramics2022,11,6:0
