1SHRIMP zircon U-Pb dating for subduction-related gran-itic rocks in the northern part of east Junggar, Xinjiang显示文摘SHRIMP U-Pb zircon dating on the Xileketehalasu granodiorite porphyry and Kalasayi monodiorite porphyry that intrude middle Devonian Beitashan Formation at the north part of east Junggar region shows that they were formed at 381±6 Ma and 376±10 Ma respectively. They are interpreted as subduction-related granitic rocks, which is the first report that the isotopic ages for the granitic rocks range from 350 to 390 Ma. Another determined age for the Kalasayi monodiorite porphyry is 408±9 Ma, representing the age of underlain Lower Devonian volcanic rocks. Thus, the U-Pb dates suggest that the northeastward subduction of Junggar ocean from southwest occurred at 408 to 376 Ma (the real inter- val may be larger). 2Nutritional Status of Children during and post-Global Economic Crisis in China显示文摘Objective To describe the impact of the global economic crisis on the nutritional status of children in China during and after the crisis.Methods Data from 1990 to 2010 were sourced from the National Food and Nutrition Surveillance System.Approximately 16 000 children under 5 years old were selected using a stratified random cluster method from 40 surveillance sites.Anthropometric and hemoglobin measurements for children under 5 were conducted.Nutritional status was determined according to WHO child growth standards.Results Prevalence of underweight and stunting in children under 5 had a downward trend.Underweight prevalence was close to normal (less than 5%),with prevalence of stunting 12.6% in 2009 and 12.1% in 2010 in rural areas.Prevalence of stunting in infants under 6 months and 6‐12 months old in poorer rural areas increased from 5.7%‐9.1% and 6.7%‐12.5%,respectively,in 2008‐2009.This trend also continued post‐crisis in 2010.Prevalence of stunting in children left behind by mothers was 20%‐30% higher than in children the same age in general and poorer rural areas.Prevalence of anemia in children did not change in rural areas,but prevalence of anemia in all age groups increased in poorer rural areas,especially in children under 24 months old.Level reached 30%‐40% in 2009,and fluctuated in 2010.Conclusion The nutritional status of children under 5 was comparatively stable during and after the global economic crisis,attributable to the Chinese government's policy response.The nutritional status in poorer rural areas fluctuated in response to the economic crisis and,thus,relevant action and intervention must be taken immediately to help the most vulnerable population in poorer rural areas.A proper national nutritional strategy for children under 2 years old,including nutrition supplementation for pregnant women and in‐home fortification for complementary feeding,should be initiated.CHEN ChunMing HE Wu WANG YuYing DENG LiNa JIA FengMei 2011Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2011,24,4:22

4Immunogenicity and protective efficacy of a recombinant protein subunit vaccine and an inactivated vaccine against SARS-CoV-2 variants in non-human primates显示文摘Emerging SARS-CoV-2 variants and the gradually decreasing neutralizing antibodies over time post vaccination have led to an increase in incidents of breakthrough infection across the world.To investigate the potential protective effect of the recombinant protein subunit COVID-19 vaccine targeting receptor-binding domain(RBD)(PS-RBD)and whole inactivated virus particle vaccine(IV)against the variant strains,in this study,rhesus macaques were immunized with PS-RBD or IV vaccine,followed by a Beta variant(B.1.351)challenge.Although neutralizing activity against the Beta variant was reduced compared with that against the prototype,the decreased viral load in both upper and lower respiratory tracts,milder pathological changes,and downregulated inflammatory cytokine levels in lung tissues after challenge demonstrated that PS-RBD and IV still provided effective protection against the Beta variant in the macaque model.Furthermore,PS-RBD-induced macaque sera possessed general binding and neutralizing activity to Alpha,Beta,Delta,and Omicron variants in our study,though the neutralizing antibody(NAb)titers declined by varying degrees,demonstrating potential protection of PS-RBD against current circulating variants of concern(VOCs).Interestingly,although the IV vaccine-induced extremely low neutralizing antibody titers against the Beta variant,it still showed reduction for viral load and significantly alleviated pathological change.Other correlates of vaccine-induced protection(CoP)like antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity(ADCC)and immune memory were both confirmed to be existing in IV vaccinated group and possibly be involved in the protective mechanism.Qian He Qunying Mao Xiaozhong Peng Zhanlong He Shuaiyao Lu Jialu Zhang Fan Gao Lianlian Bian Chaoqiang An Wenhai Yu Fengmei Yang Yanan Zhou Yun Yang Yanyan Li Yadi Yuan Xujia Yan Jinghuan Yang Xing Wu Weijin Huang Changgui Li Junzhi Wang Zhenglun Liang Miao Xu 2022Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,4:2

6Shugan Jieyu capsule(舒肝解郁胶囊) improve sleep and emotional disorder in coronavirus disease 2019 convalescence patients: a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the efficacy of the Shugan Jieyu capsule(舒肝解郁胶囊) on improving sleep and emotional disorder during Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19) convalescence. METHODS: We conducted a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial, and recruit 200 COVID-19 convalescence patients and then divide the subjects into two groups respectively: the experimental group(n = 100) and the control group(n = 100). Patients in the control group were given doses as a placebo, while those in the experimental group were given Shugan Jieyu capsule.The investigators mainly observed the differences between the two groups before and after treatment in terms of the rate of reduction and the rate of efficiency in Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD-17) total scores from baseline, and recorded the scores of Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA), Patient Health Questionnaire-15(PHQ-15), Insomnia Severity Index(ISI) and Treatment Emergent Symptom Scale at 2 week, the 4 week and the 6 week respectively after treatment, and compared the differences between the groups. And the occurrence of adverse events was recorded. RESULTS: After 6-week treatment, there were statistically significant differences in the rate of reduction as well as efficiency in HAMD-17 scores, HAMA Total Scores, PHQ-15 Score, ISI Score from baseline in the experimental group and control group(P < 0.05). There were 4 adverse events in the experimental group and 1 in the control group. 7Ultrasensitive solar-blind ultraviolet detection and optoelectronic neuromorphic computing using α-In_(2)Se_(3)phototransistors显示文摘Detection of solar-blind ultraviolet(SB-UV)light is important in applications like confidential communication,flame detection,and missile warning system.However,the existing SB-UV photodetectors still show low sensitivities.In this work,we demonstrate the extraordinary SB-UV detection performance of α-In_(2)Se_(3 )phototransistors.Benefiting from the coupled semiconductor and ferroelectricity property,the phototransistor has an ultraweak detectable power of 17.85 fW,an ultrahigh gain of 1.2×10^(6),a responsivity of 2.6×10^(5) A/W,a detectivity of 1.3×10^(16) Jones and an ultralow noise-equivalent-power of 4.2×10^(–20 )W/Hz1/2 for 275 nm light.Its performance exceeds most other UV detectors,even including commercial photomultiplier tubes and avalanche photodiodes.It can be also implemented as an optoelectronic synapse for neuromorphic computing.A 784×300×10 artificial neural network(ANN)based on this optoelectronic synapse is constructed and demonstrated with a high recognition accuracy and good noise-tolerance for the Fashion-MNIST dataset.These extraordinary features endow this phototransistor with the potential for constructing advanced SB-UV detectors and intelligent hardware.Yuchen Cai Jia Yang Feng Wang Shuhui Li Yanrong Wang Xueying Zhan Fengmei Wang Ruiqing Cheng Zhenxing Wang Jun He 2023Frontiers of physics2023,18,3:1

9Pathogenic analysis of coxsackievirus A10 in rhesus macaques显示文摘Coxsackievirus A10(CV-A10)is one of the etiological agents associated with hand,foot and mouth disease(HFMD)and also causes a variety of illnesses in humans,including pneumonia,and myocarditis.Different people,particularly young children,may have different immunological responses to infection.Current CV-A10 infection animal models provide only a rudimentary understanding of the pathogenesis and effects of this virus.The characteristics of CV-A10 infection,replication,and shedding in humans remain unknown.In this study,rhesus macaques were infected by CV-A10 via respiratory or digestive route to mimic the HFMD in humans.The clinical symptoms,viral shedding,inflammatory response and pathologic changes were investigated in acute infection(1–11 day post infection)and recovery period(12–180 day post infection).All infected rhesus macaques during acute infection showed obvious viremia and clinical symptoms which were comparable to those observed in humans.Substantial inflammatory pathological damages were observed in multi-organs,including the lung,heart,liver,and kidney.During the acute period,all rhesus macaques displayed clinical signs,viral shedding,normalization of serum cytokines,and increased serum neutralizing antibodies,whereas inflammatory factors caused some animals to develop severe hyperglycemia during the recovery period.In addition,there were no significant differences between respiratory and digestive tract infected animals.Overall,all data presented suggest that the rhesus macaques provide the first non-human primate animal model for investigating CV-A10 pathophysiology and assessing the development of potential human therapies.Suqin Duan Fengmei Yang Yanyan Li Yuan Zhao Li Shi Meng Qin Quan Liu Weihua Jin Junbin Wang Lixiong Chen Wei Zhang Yongjie Li Ying Zhang Jingjing Zhang Shaohui Ma Zhanlong He Qihan Li 2022Virologica Sinica2022,37,4:1
10JAG1 enhances angiogenesis in triple-negative breast cancer through promoting the secretion of exosomal lncRNA MALAT1显示文摘Despite significant improvements in five-year survival rates due to early diagnosis and combination therapy, triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) treatment remains a major challenge. Finding new and effective targets for diagnosis and drug therapy is urgent for TNBC patients. Jagged-1 (JAG1), one of the canonical ligands of the Notch signaling pathway, is involved in vascular budding and is a poor prognostic factor of TNBC. In this study, combined with quantitative real-time PCR, database analysis, animal experiments, and other means, JAG1 was confirmed to be related to the poor prognosis of TNBC patients. JAG1 was highly expressed in MDA-MB-231 Bone (231B) cells, with stronger invasion and metastasis ability than MDA-MB-231 (231) cells. Treatment of human vascular endothelial cells (HUVEC) with TNBC conditioned medium showed that TNBC JAG1 promoted the angiogenesis of HUVEC. Next, we detected the exosomes extracted from TNBC conditioned medium and found that JAG1 promoted the exosome secretion from 231 cells via ALIX-RAB11A/RAB35. In addition, we also found that the exosomes from JAG1 overexpressed TNBC cells contained more long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) MALAT1 , and MALAT1 promoted angiogenesis of HUVEC by targeting miR-140-5p . Finally, the angiogenesis-promoting effect of JAG1 in TNBC was further investigated by matrix gel assay. 11Study of molecular mechanisms underlying the medicinal plant Tripterygium wilfordii-derived compound celastrol in treating diabetic nephropathy based on network pharmacology and molecular docking显示文摘Background:Diabetic nephropathy(DN)is a serious complication of diabetes with rising prevalence worldwide.We aimed to explore the anti-DN mechanisms of the compound celastrol derived from the medicinal plant Tripterygium wilfordii.Methods:Celastrol-related targets were obtained from Herbal Ingredients’Targets(HIT)and GeneCards databases.DN-related targets were retrieved from GeneCards,DisGeNET,and Therapeutic Targets Database(TTD).A Protein-protein interaction(PPI)network was established using the Search Tool for the Retrieval of Interacting Genes(STRING)database.Gene Ontology(GO)and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)enrichment analyses were performed using ClusterProfiler.The cytoHubba plugin was used to select the top 10 hub targets.Molecular docking was performed employing PyMOL and AutoDock software.Cell counting kit-8(CCK-8)and flow cytometry assays were used to detect the viability and apoptosis of NRK-52E cells,respectively.The mRNA expression levels of mitogen-activated protein kinase 3(MAPK3),tumor necrosis factor(TNF),and AKT serine/threonine kinase 1(AKT1)in NRK-52E cells were assessed using quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR).Results:We obtained sixty-six overlapping targets of celastrol and DN.GO and KEGG analyses demonstrated that the core targets of celastrol and DN were mainly involved in the inflammatory and immune response,oxidative stress,advanced glycation end products(AGEs)and their receptors(RAGEs)(AGE-RAGE),TNF,interleukin 17(IL-17),and MAPK signaling pathways.Finally,based on the good binding activity with celastrol,MAPK3,TNF,and AKT1 were identified as the foremost targets of celastrol.We observed that celastrol enhanced the viability of high glucose(HG)-treated NRK-52E cells and inhibited apoptosis in the in vitro assays.Moreover,celastrol decreased the mRNA expression levels of MAPK3,TNF,and AKT1 in high glucose(HG)-treated NRK-52E cells.Conclusion:Celastrol may treat DN by targeting APK3,TNF,and AKT1 and regulating inflammatory responses and oxidative stress through the AGE-RAGE,TNF,IL-17,and MAPK signaling pathways.FENGMEI QIAN PEIYAO REN LI ZHAO DANNA ZHENG WENFANG HE JUAN JIN 2023BIOCELL2023,47,8:0

14Near-infrared optoelectronic synapses based on a Te/α-In_(2)Se_(3) heterojunction for neuromorphic computing显示文摘Neuromorphic computing based on artificial optoelectronic synapses has attracted considerable attention owing to its high time/power efficiency and parallel processing capability.However,existing devices are mainly suitable for only the visible range.Here,high-performance near-infrared optoelectronic memories and synapses were demonstrated using Te/α-In_(2)Se_(3)heterostructures.Owing to the entangled ferroelectricitysemiconducting properties ofα-In_(2)Se_(3),whose ferroelectric polarizations can be switched by photocarriers that migrated from the Te near-infrared light absorber,the device could be set into a non-volatile highresistance/low-resistance state through the application of positive gate voltages/near-infrared light pulses.Hence,the device could function as a high-performance photodetector,with a photoresponsive on/off ratio of 5.25×10^(4)/8.3×10^(3)and a specific detectivity of 2.6×10^(11)/7.5×10^(10)Jones at 1550/1940 nm.In addition,the device could function as a multi-state optoelectronic synapse with good stability and high linearity;moreover,using the device,we developed an optoelectronic artificial neural network with high recognition accuracies of 100%and 89.9%for a database composed of 64-pixel letters with 10%and 70%noise levels,respectively.Our work provides a feasible avenue for developing neuromorphic networks applicable in the infrared range.Tao YAN Yuchen CAI Yanrong WANG Jia YANG Shuhui LI Xueying ZHAN Fengmei WANG Ruiqing CHENG Feng WANG Jun HE Zhenxing WANG 2023Science China(Information Sciences)2023,66,6:0
15New insights into the multiple magmatic fluid generations from scheelite in the Bastielieke W-polymetallic deposit,Chinese Altay(NW,China)显示文摘Scheelite is the main ore mineral in skarn-type tungsten(W-Mo,W-Sn,and W-Cu)deposits,and is also a good proxy for ore-fluid evolution and mineralization.The Bastielieke deposit is the first medium-size Wpolymetallic skarn deposit discovered in the Chinese(Xinjiang,NW China)Altay.Scheelite grains at Bastielieke are distributed in biotite granite,skarn and quartz-fluorite veins.They exhibit different textures,and can be divided into four types and six subtypes,including those in granite(Schm),prograde skarn(SchI),retrograde-altered rocks(SchII),and those in late-stage quartz-fluorite veins(SchIII).SchIa and SchIb were formed in the early and late prograde stage,respectively.SchI displays homogeneous texture,enrichments of light rare earth elements(LREEs)relative to heavy REEs(HREEs),and significantly negative Eu anomalies.SchIa has higher Sr-Mo contents and LREE/HREE than SchIb.SchII shows patchy texture by overgrowth and dissolution-reprecipitation,and can be subdivided into dark(SchIIa)and light(SchIIb)zone based in CL imaging.All SchII grains are LREE-enriched with negative Eu anomalies and relatively low LREE/HREE ratios.SchIIb has much higher W-Mo-Nb-Sr contents than SchIIa,which is ascribed to late-stage hydrothermal modifications.Schm and SchIII display homogeneous texture and similar MREE-enriched patterns,as well as very low Mo-W-Sr and different Nb contents.The texture and compositional variations in Bastielieke scheelites reveal that two magmatic fluids derived from different granitic magma reservoirs were involved in the mineralization.The earlier orefluid is relativly oxidized and has low HREE contents,forming the early prograde skarn-stage mineralization.Episodic influxes of later F-rich granitic magmatic fluids may have modified the earlier scheelite compositions,leading to multistage W enrichment and varying intragrain compositions.Fengmei Chai Zhaochong Zhang Wen Wang Qiuhong Xie He Huang Yan Zhang Dongmei Qi Xuebing Zhang 2023Geoscience Frontiers2023,14,3:0
