| 1 | Uncertainties in assessing the effect of climate change on agriculture using model simulation and uncertainty processing methods显示文摘Model simulation is an important way to study the effects of climate change on agriculture.Such assessment is subject to a range of uncertainties because of either incomplete knowledge or model technical uncertainties,impeding effective decision-making to climate change.On the basis of uncertainties in the impact assessment at different levels,this article systematically summarizes the sources and propagation of uncertainty in the assessment of the effect of climate change on agriculture in terms of the climate projection,the assessment process,and the crop models linking to climate models.Meanwhile,techniques and methods focusing on different levels and sources of uncertainty and uncertainty propagation are introduced,and shortcomings and insufficiencies in uncertainty processing are pointed out.Finally,in terms of how to accurately assess the effect of climate change on agriculture,improvements to further decrease potential uncertainty are suggested. | YAO FengMei QIN PengCheng ZHANG JiaHua LIN ErDa BOKEN Vijendra | 2011 | Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,8: | 21 |
| 2 | 96-Week Treatment of Tenofovir Amibufenamide and Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate in Chronic Hepatitis B Patients显示文摘Background and Aims:Tenofovir amibufenamide(TMF)is a novel phosphoramidated prodrug of tenofovir with nonin-ferior efficacy and better bone and renal safety to tenofovir disoproxil fumarate(TDF)in 48 weeks of treatment.Here,we update 96-week comparison results.Methods:Patients with chronic hepatitis B were assigned(2:1)to receive either 25 mg TMF or 300 mg TDF with matching placebo for 96 weeks.The virological suppression was defined as HBV DNA levels<20 IU/mL at week 96.Safety was evaluated thoroughly with focusing on bone,renal,and metabolic pa-rameters.Results:Virological suppression rates at week 96 were similar between TMF and TDF group in both HBeAg-positive and HBeAg-negative populations.Noninferior efficacy was maintained in the pooled population,while it was first achieved in patients with HBV DNA≥7 or 8 log10 IU/mL at baseline.Non-indexed estimated glomerular filtration rate for renal safety assessment was adopted,while a smaller decline of which was seen in the TMF group than in the TDF group(p=0.01).For bone mineral density,patients receiv-ing TMF displayed significantly lower reduction levels in the densities of spine,hip,and femur neck at week 96 than those receiving TDF.In addition,the lipid parameters were stable after week 48 in all groups while weight change still showed the opposite trend.Conclusions:TMF maintained similar efficacy at week 96 compared with TDF with continued superior bone and renal safety profiles(NCT03903796). | Zhihong Liu Qinglong Jin Yuexin Zhang Guozhong Gong Guicheng Wu Lvfeng Yao Xiaofeng Wen Zhiliang Gao Yan Huang Daokun Yang Enqiang Chen Qing Mao Shide Lin Jia Shang Huanyu Gong Lihua Zhong Huafa Yin Fengmei Wang Peng Hu Qiong Wu Chao Pan Wen Jia Chuan Li Chang’an Sun Junqi Niu Jinlin Hou TMF Study Group | 2023 | Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2023,11,3: | 3 |

The potentiodynamic scanning polarizaion technique was employed to measure the polarizaion curves of 317L in 0.9%NaCl solution at 37℃. The results showed that the electrochemical behaviorin 0.9% NaCl solution at 37℃ and in 2% NaCl solotion at 30℃ can be better used to detect and evaluate passivated states and corrosionresistance of 317L. | 10 | Progranulin regulation of autophagy contributes to its chondroprotective effect in osteoarthritis显示文摘Progranulin(PGRN)is a multifunctional growth factor involved in many physiolog-ical processes and disease states.The apparent protective role of PGRN and the importance of chondrocyte autophagic function in the progression of osteoarthritis(OA)led us to investi-gate the role of PGRN in the regulation of chondrocyte autophagy.PGRN knockout chondro-cytes exhibited a deficient autophagic response with limited induction following rapamycin,serum starvation,and IL-1b-induced autophagy.PGRN-mediated anabolism and suppression of IL-1b-induced catabolism were largely abrogated in the presence of the BafA1 autophagy inhibitor.Mechanistically,during the process of OA,PGRN and the ATG5eATG12 conjugate form a protein complex;PGRN regulates autophagy in chondrocytes and OA through,at least partially,the interactions between PGRN and the ATG5eATG12 conjugate.Furthermore,the ATG5eATG12 conjugate is critical for cell proliferation and apoptosis.Knockdown or knockout of ATG5 reduces the expression of ATG5eATG12 conjugate and inhibits the chondroprotective effect of PGRN on anabolism and catabolism.Overexpression of PGRN partially reversed this effect.In brief,the PGRN-mediated regulation of chondrocyte autophagy plays a key role in the chondroprotective role of PGRN in OA.Such studies provide new insights into the pathogen-esis of OA and PGRN-associated autophagy in chondrocyte homeostasis. | Yiming Pan Yuyou Yang Mengtian Fan Cheng Chen Rong Jiang Li Liang Menglin Xian Biao Kuang Nana Geng Naibo Feng Lin Deng Wei Zheng Fengmei Zhang Xiaoli Li Fengjin Guo | 2023 | Genes & Diseases2023,10,4: | 0 |
| 11 | Histone modification landscape and the key significance of H3K27me3 in myocardial ischaemia/reperfusion injury显示文摘Histone modifications play crucial roles in the pathogenesis of myocardial ischaemia/reperfusion(I/R)injury.However,a genome-wide map of histone modifications and the underlying epigenetic signatures in myocardial I/R injury have not been established.Here,we integrated transcriptome and epigenome of histone modifications to characterize epigenetic signatures after I/R injury.Disease-specific histone mark alterations were mainly found in H3K27me3-,H3K27ac-,and H3K4me1-marked regions 24 and 48 h after I/R.Genes differentially modified by H3K27ac,H3K4me1 and H3K27me3 were involved in immune response,heart conduction or contraction,cytoskeleton,and angiogenesis.H3K27me3 and its methyltransferase polycomb repressor complex 2(PRC2)were upregulated in myocardial tissues after I/R.Upon selective inhibition of EZH2(the catalytic core of PRC2),the mice manifest improved cardiac function,enhanced angiogenesis,and reduced fibrosis.Further investigations confirmed that EZH2 inhibition regulated H3K27me3 modification of multiple pro-angiogenic genes and ultimately enhanced angiogenic properties in vivo and in vitro.This study delineates a landscape of histone modifications in myocardial I/R injury,and identifies H3K27me3 as a key epigenetic modifier in I/R process.The inhibition of H3K27me3 and its methyltransferase might be a potential strategy for myocardial I/R injury intervention. | Le Ni Bowen Lin Yanping Zhang Lingjie Hu Jianghua Lin Fengmei Fu Meiting Shen Can Li Lei Chen Jian Yang Dan Shi Yi-Han Chen | 2023 | Science China(Life Sciences)2023,66,6: | 0 |
