1On-board measurement of particle numbers and their size distribution from a light-duty diesel vehicle:Influences of VSP and altitude显示文摘In this study,the particle size-resolved distribution from a China-3 certificated light-duty diesel vehicle was measured by using a portable emission measurement system(PEMS).In order to examine the influences of vehicle specific power(VSP) and high-altitude operation,measurements were conducted at 8 constant speeds,which ranged from 10 to 80 km/hr at10 km/hr intervals,and two different high altitudes,namely 2200 and 3200 m.The results demonstrated that the numbers of particles in all size ranges decreased significantly as VSP increased when the test vehicle was running at lower speeds(< 20 km/hr),while at a moderate speed(between 30 and 60 km/hr),the particle number was statistically insensitive to increase VSP.Under high-speed cruising conditions,the numbers of ultrafine particles and PM2.5were insensitive to changes in VSP,but the numbers of nanoparticles and PM10 surged considerably.An increase in the operational altitude of the test vehicle resulted in increased particle number emissions at low and high driving speeds;however,particle numbers obtained at moderate speeds decreased as altitude rose.When the test vehicle was running at moderate speeds,particle numbers measured at the two altitudes were very close,except for comparatively higher number concentrations of nanoparticles measured at 2200 m.Jia Liu Yunshan Ge Xin Wang Lijun Hao Jianwei Tan Zihang Peng Chuanzhen Zhang Huiming Gong Ying Huang 2017Journal of Environmental Sciences2017,29,7:12
2Viral Metagenomics Analysis of Planktonic Viruses in East Lake,Wuhan,China显示文摘East Lake(Lake Donghu),located in Wuhan,China,is a typical city freshwater lake that has been experiencing eutrophic conditions and algal blooming during recent years.Marine and fresh water are considered to contain a large number of viruses.However,little is known about their genetic diversity because of the limited techniques for culturing viruses.In this study,we conducted a viral metagenomic analysis using a high-throughput sequencing technique with samples collected from East Lake in Spring,Summer,Autumn,and Winter.The libraries from four samples each generated 234,669,71,837,12,820,and 34,236 contigs(>90 bp each),respectively.The genetic structure of the viral community revealed a high genetic diversity covering 23 viral families,with the majority of contigs homologous to DNA viruses,including members of Myoviridae,Podoviridae,Siphoviridae,Phycodnaviridae,and Microviridae,which infect bacteria or algae,and members of Circoviridae,which infect invertebrates and vertebrates.The highest viral genetic diversity occurred in samples collected in August,then December and June,and the least diversity in March.Most contigs have low-sequence identities with known viruses.PCR detection targeting the conserved sequences of genes(g20,psbA,psbD,and DNApol)of cyanophages further confirmed that there are novel cyanophages in the East Lake.Our viral metagenomic data provide the first preliminary understanding of the virome in one freshwater lake in China and would be helpful for novel virus discovery and the control of algal blooming in the future.Xingyi Ge Yongquan Wu Meiniang Wang Jun Wang Lijun Wu Xinglou Yang Yuji Zhang Zhengli Shi 2013Virologica Sinica2013,28,5:8
3Microwave ablation of primary breast cancer inhibits metastatic progression in model mice via activation of natural killer cells显示文摘Surgery is essential for controlling the symptoms and complications of stage IV breast cancer.However,locoregional treatment of primary tumors often results in distant progression,including lung metastasis,the most common type of visceral metastasis.As a minimally invasive thermal therapy,microwave ablation(MWA)has been attempted in the treatment of breast cancer,but the innate immune response after MWA has not yet been reported.Using two murine models of stage IV breast cancer,we found that MWA of primary breast cancer inhibited the progression of lung metastasis and improved survival.NK cells were activated after MWA of the primary tumor and exhibited enhanced cytotoxic functions,and the cytotoxic pathways of NK cells were activated.Depletion experiments showed that NK cells but not CD4+or CD8+T cells played a pivotal role in prolonging survival.Then,we found that compared with surgery or control treatment,MWA of the primary tumor induced completely different NK-cell-related cytokine profiles.Macrophages were activated after MWA of the primary tumor and produced IL-15 that activated NK cells to inhibit the progression of metastasis.In addition,MWA of human breast cancer stimulated an autologous NK-cell response.These results demonstrate that MWA of the primary tumor in metastatic breast cancer inhibits metastatic progression via the macrophage/IL-15/NK-cell axis.MWA of the primary tumor may be a promising treatment strategy for de novo stage IV breast cancer,although further substantiation is essential for clinical testing.Muxin Yu Hong Pan Nan Che Li Li Cong Wang Yue Wang Ge Ma Mengjia Qian Jiawei Liu Mingjie Zheng Hui Xie Lijun Ling Yi Zhao Xiaoxiang Guan Qiang Ding Wenbin Zhou Shui Wang 2021Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021,18,9:5
4Modeling and predicting low-speed vehicle emissions as a function of driving kinematics显示文摘An instantaneous emission model was developed to model and predict the real driving emissions of the low-speed vehicles. The emission database used in the model was measured by using portable emission measurement system(PEMS)under actual traffic conditions in the rural area,and the characteristics of the emission data were determined in relation to the driving kinematics(speed and acceleration)of the low-speed vehicle. The input of the emission model is driving cycle,and the model requires instantaneous vehicle speed and acceleration levels as input variables and uses them to interpolate the pollutant emission rate maps to calculate the transient pollutant emission rates,which will be accumulated to calculate the total emissions released during the whole driving cycle. And the vehicle fuel consumption was determined through the carbon balance method. 5Joint frequency offset tracking and PAPR reduction algorithm in OFDM systems显示文摘This paper presents an algorithm that aims to reduce the peak-to-average power ratio(PAPR) of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM) communication systems while maintaining frequency tracking.The algorithm achieves PAPR reduction by applying the complex conjugates of the data symbol obtained from the frequency domain to cancel the phase of the data symbol.A likelihood estimator is used to obtain the sub-carrier phase error due to the residual carrier frequency offset(RCFO) using the same complex conjugates as a pilot signal.Furthermore,a joint time and frequency domain multicarrier phase locked loop(MPLL) is developed to compensate additional frequency offset.Simulation results show that this algorithm is capable of reducing PAPR without impacting the frequency tracking performance.Lijun Ge Yingxin Zhao Hong Wu Ning Xu Yu'ang Jin Wenqi Li 2010Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2010,21,4:4
6Protective effects of effective ingredients of Danshen (Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae)and Honghua (Flos Carthami)compatibility after rat hippocampal neurons induced by hypoxia injury显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effective ingredients of Danshen(Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae) and Honghua(Flos Carthami)(Danhong) on protective properties towards neonatal rat hippocampal neurons under hypoxia condition.METHODS: Primary culture of neonatal rat hippocampal neurons was used to model hypoxia damage on the hippocampus. Methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium(MTT) assay and preliminary experiments were conducted to identify the four effective ingredients of Danhong, along with the injection of positive drug onto hippocampal neurons at a non-toxic dosage level. The cultured cells were randomly divided into 12 groups: the normal group, model group,positive drug control group and nine compatibility groups of the four effective ingredients. Different test methods were applied to determine lactate dehydrogenasein(LDH), total superoxide dismutase(T-SOD), malondialdehyde(MDA), 6-keto prostaglandin F_(la)(6-keto-PGF_(1 a)), thromboxane B_2(TXB_2),mitochondrial membrane potential(MMP), free calcium ions concentration([Ca^(2 +)]i) and early onsetcell apoptosis.RESULTS: Different compatibility groups could inhibit the content of LDH and intracellular calcium overload, increase activity in T-SOD, decrease level of MDA and TXB2, improve level of 6-keto-PGF1 aand MMP, and prevent the early onset cell apoptosis.CONCLUSION: The compatibility of four effective ingredients of Danhong had protective effect toward hippocampi hypoxia. 7Target Tracking Algorithm Using Finite-time Convergence Smooth Second-order Sliding Mode Controller for Mobile Robots显示文摘Target tracking control for wheeled mobile robot (WMR) need resolve the problems of kinematics model and tracking algorithm.High-order sliding mode control is a valid method used in the nonlinear tracking control system,which can eliminate the chattering of sliding mode control.Currently there lacks the research of robustness and uncertain factors for high-order sliding mode control.To address the fast convergence and robustness problems of tracking target,the tracking mathematical model of WMR and the target is derived.Based on the finite-time convergence theory and second order sliding mode method,a nonlinear tracking algorithm is designed which guarantees that WMR can catch the target in finite time.At the same time an observer is applied to substitute the uncertain acceleration of the target,then a smooth nonlinear tracking algorithm is proposed.Based on Lyapunov stability theory and finite-time convergence,a finite time convergent smooth second order sliding mode controller and a target tracking algorithm are designed by using second order sliding mode method.The simulation results verified that WMR can catch up the target quickly and reduce the control discontinuity of the velocity of WMR.GE Lianzheng ZHAO Lijun GAO Tong 2011Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2011,24,3:4

10Characteristics of LDPE and Oriented Montmorillonite Nanocomposites Produced by Electric Field-inducement显示文摘In order to make montmorillonite (MMT) nanosheets disperse in low-density polyethylene (LDPE) with highly homogeneous orientation, alternating voltage is applied to molten LDPE with MMT nanosheets. The effect of electric field on the dispersion of MMT in the solidified LDPE is studied. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) analyses suggest that the MMT nano- sheets are aligned with high anisotropy to the electric field direction, which is perpendicular to the LDPE film plane. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) results reveal that the crystallization degree of the oriented LDPE/MMT composite increases. Moreover, through a broadband dielectric spectroscopy analyzer, it is found that MMT manifests a significantly influence in the dielectric property of the oriented composite: the dielectric constant and loss tangent of the composite both become larger. 15High Performance Compressed Sampling for OFDM-UWB Systems显示文摘In order to solve the problem of high-speed sampling in OFDM based ultra wide band(UWB) systems, this paper first gives analysis on the applicability of existing compressed sampling methods. Then, on the basis of an established segmented observation model, it presents an optimized parallel segmented compressed sampling(OPSCS) scheme based on Hadamard matrix. The orthogonal Hadamard matrix is adopted to construct the segmented measurement matrix with any dimensions, thus orthogonal or quasi-orthogonal multiplex observation sequences are obtained, and the restricted isometry property is improved. The optimized orthogonal matching pursuit algorithm is also used for the known sparsity avoiding iterative operation. Researches show that the proposed method can effectively reduce the sampling rate in OFDM-UWB systems, and also has a good ability of noise resisting that it achieves a high system performance better than the existing schemes of compressed sampling and even Nyquist rate sampling.Lijun Ge Hua Zhang Hui Guo Hong Wu 2017China Communications2017,14,3:1
