1Rational design of three-phase interfaces for electrocatalysis显示文摘Gas-involving electrochemical reactions,like oxygen reduction reaction (ORR),oxygen evolution reaction (OER),and hydrogen evolution reaction (HER),are critical processes for energy-saving,environment-friendly energy conversion and storage technologies which gain increasing attention.The development of according electrocatalysts is key to boost their electrocatalytic performances.Dramatic efforts have been put into the development of advanced electrocatalysts to overcome sluggish kinetics.On the other hand,the electrode interfaces-architecture construction plays an equally important role for practical applications because these imperative electrode reactions generally proceed at triple-phase interfaces of gas,liquid electrolyte,and solid electrocatalyst.A desirable architecture should facilitate the complicate reactions occur at the triple-phase interfaces,which including mass diffusion,surface reaction and electron transfer.In this review,we will summarize some design principles and synthetic strategies for optimizing triple-phase interfaces of gas-involving electrocatalysis systematically,based on the electrode reaction process at the three-phase interfaces.It can be divided into three main optimization directions:exposure of active sites,promotion of mass diffusion and acceleration of electron transfer.Furthermore,we especially highlight several remarkable works with comprehensive optimization about specific energy conversion devices,including metal-air batteries,fuel cells,and water-splitting devices are demonstrated with superb efficiency.In the last section,the perspectives and challenges in the future are proposed.Yuqing Wang Yuqin Zou Li Tao Yanyong Wang Gen Huang Shiqian Du Shuangyin Wang 2019Nano Research2019,12,9:10
2Wolbachia infection dynamics by reaction-diffusion equations显示文摘Dengue fever is caused by the dengue virus and transmitted by Aedes mosquitoes.A promising avenue for eradicating the disease is to infect the wild aedes population with the bacterium Wolbachia driven by cytoplasmic incompatibility(CI).When releasing Wolbachia infected mosquitoes for population replacement,it is essential to not ignore the spatial inhomogeneity of wild mosquito distribution.In this paper,we develop a model of reaction-diffusion system to investigate the infection dynamics in natural areas,under the assumptions supported by recent experiments such as perfect maternal transmission and complete CI.We prove non-existence of inhomogeneous steady-states when one of the diffusion coefficients is sufficiently large,and classify local stability for constant steady states.It is seen that diffusion does not change the criteria for the local stabilities.Our major concern is to determine the minimum infection frequency above which Wolbachia can spread into the whole population of mosquitoes.We find that diffusion drives the minimum frequency slightly higher in general.However,the minimum remains zero when Wolbachia infection brings overwhelming fitness benefit.In the special case when the infection does not alter the longevity of mosquitoes but reduces the birth rate by half,diffusion has no impact on the minimum frequency.HUANG Mu Gen TANG Mo Xun YU Jian She 2015Science China Mathematics2015,58,1:8
3Effects of different factors during the de-silication of diaspore by direct flotation显示文摘Most of the bauxite resources in China are kaolinite-diaspore bauxite of middle to low grade, with a fine dissemination, and are difficultly separated. Direct flotation de-silication has been shown to be an effective method for de-silication of diaspore. In this study the effect of different factors, including pulp temperature, density, pH value, depressant, and collector dosage, on direct flotation of diaspore were investigated by laboratory experiments. The optimum conditions were identified and the flotation performance was improved. The results show that under optimum conditions (a pulp temperature around 40 °C, a pulp density from 30% to 33%, a pH value from 9.0 to 10.0, an air flow rate of 0.5 m3/(m2 min), a dispersant level from 35 to 70 g/t, and a collector level around 1000 g/t) an Al/Si ratio of 6.97 is obtained starting from an initial Al/Si ratio of about 4.71. 4Qualitative analysis for a Wolbachia infection model with diffusion显示文摘We consider a reaction-diffusion model which describes the spatial Wolbachia spread dynamics for a mixed population of infected and uninfected mosquitoes. By using linearization method, comparison principle and Leray-Schauder degree theory, we investigate the influence of diffusion on the Wolbachia infection dynamics.After identifying the system parameter regions in which diffusion alters the local stability of constant steadystates, we find sufficient conditions under which the system possesses inhomogeneous steady-states. 9Effects of the momentum dependence of nuclear symmetry potential on pion observables in Sn+Sn collisions at 270 MeV/nucleon显示文摘Within a transport model,we investigated the effects of the momentum dependence of the nuclear symmetry potential on the pion observables in central Sn+Sn collisions at 270 MeV/nucleon.To this end,the quantity U^(∞)_(sym)(ρ_(0))(i.e.,the value of the nuclear symmetry potential at the saturation densityρ_(0) and infinitely large nucleon momentum)was used to characterize the momentum dependence of the nuclear symmetry potential.With a certain L(i.e.,the slope of the nuclear symmetry energy at(ρ_(0))),the characteristic parameter U^(∞)_(sym)(ρ_(0))of the symmetry potential significantly affects the production of−and+and their pion ratios.Moreover,by comparing the charged pion yields,pion ratios,and spectral pion ratios of the theoretical simulations for the reactions ^(108) Sn+^(112) Sn and ^(132)Sn+^(124)Sn with the corresponding data in the SRIT experiments,we found that our results favor a constraint on U^(∞)_(sym)(ρ_(0))(i.e.,−160_(−9)^(+18) MeV),and L is also suggested within a range of 62.7 MeVGao‑Feng Wei Xin Huang Qi‑Jun Zhi Ai‑Jun Dong Chang‑Gen Peng Zheng‑Wen Long 2022Nuclear Science and Techniques2022,33,12:3
10GEOLOGICAL AND GEOCHEMICAL STUDY ON THE GENESIS OF THE FANKOU Pb-Zn DEPOSIT显示文摘The super large Pb Zn deposit at Fankou is very complex in metallogenic mechanism. Syngenetic brine sedimentation, hot submarine spring eruption—accumulation, syngenetic sedimentation—vadose brine replacement had been supposed as the genetic models before. Under these models, syngenetic mineralization should be dominant in ore formation. However, a series of geological and geochemical properties investigated by authors of this paper are contrary to these models. 11Alkaloids from Stems of Ervatamia yunnanensis (Ⅱ)显示文摘Six indole alkaloids were isolated from the stems of Ervatamia yunnanensis. Among them, 10-hydroxy-19, 20-dihydroisositsirikine (I) is new. 12Effect of Non-Axisymmetric End Wall on a Highly Loaded Compressor Cascade in Multi-Conditions显示文摘As an effective method to influence end wall flow field,non-axisymmetric profiled end wall can improve the aerodynamic performance of compressor cascades.For a highly loaded low pressure compressor cascade,called V103,the study found the optimal non-axisymmetric profiled end wall decreases total pressure loss coefficient by 4.57%,5.48%and 3.04%under incidences of–3°,0°,and 3°,respectively,compared with those of the planar end wall.The optimal non-axisymmetric profiled end wall changes the structure of secondary flow in hub region,generating a corner vortex near suction surface,inhibiting the development of the passage vortex towards suction surface and reducing flow separation.When the inlet Mach numbers are 0.62 and 0.72,the total pressure loss coefficient decreases by 3.19%and 4.58%for optimal non-axisymmetric profiled end wall compared with those of the planar end wall.Though optimal non-axisymmetric profiled end wall increases total pressure loss near hub region in blade passage under different inlet Mach numbers,the peak value and region of high loss coefficient above 10%span in blade passage significantly decrease.In addition,different incidences affect the secondary flow streamlines and vortex structure near the cascade hub region,however,different inlet Mach numbers hardly change the secondary flow streamlines and vortex structure.In short,the optimal non-axisymmetric profiled end wall shows better aerodynamic performance than the planar end wall for the highly loaded compressor cascade in multi-conditions.HUANG Song YANG Chengwu LI Ziliang HAN Ge ZHAO Shengfeng LU Xin’gen 2021Journal of Thermal Science2021,30,4:2
13The interferon-stimulated exosomal hACE2 potently inhibits SARS-CoV-2 replication through competitively blocking the virus entry显示文摘Since the outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),it has become a global pandemic.The spike(S)protein of etiologic severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)specifically recognizes human angiotensin-converting enzyme 2(hACE2)as its receptor,which is recently identified as an interferon(IFN)-stimulated gene.Here,we find that hACE2 exists on the surface of exosomes released by different cell types,and the expression of exosomal hACE2 is increased by IFNα/β treatment.In particular,exosomal hACE2 can specifically block the cell entry of SARS-CoV-2,subsequently inhibit the replication of SARS-CoV-2 in vitro and ex vivo.Our findings have indicated that IFN is able to upregulate a viral receptor on the exosomes which competitively block the virus entry,exhibiting a potential antiviral strategy.Junsong Zhang Feng Huang Baijin Xia Yaochang Yuan Fei Yu Guanwen Wang Qianyu Chen Qian Wang Yuzhuang Li Rong Li Zheng Song Ting Pan Jingliang Chen Gen Lu Hui Zhang 2021Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,6:2
14Semi-Implantable Bioelectronics显示文摘Developing techniques to effectively and real-time monitor and regulate the interior environment of biological objects is significantly important for many biomedical engineering and scientific applications, including drug delivery, electrophysiological recording and regulation of intracellular activities. Semi-implantable bioelectronics is currently a hot spot in biomedical engineering research area, because it not only meets the increasing technical demands for precise detection or regulation of biological activities, but also provides a desirable platform for externally incorporating complex functionalities and electronic integration. Although there is less definition and summary to distinguish it from the well-reviewed non-invasive bioelectronics and fully implantable bioelectronics, semi-implantable bioelectronics have emerged as highly unique technology to boost the development of biochips and smart wearable device. Here, we reviewed the recent progress in this field and raised the concept of “Semi-implantable bioelectronics”, summarizing the principle and strategies of semi-implantable device for cell applications and in vivo applications, discussing the typical methodologies to access to intracellular environment or in vivo environment, biosafety aspects and typical applications. 18Silica-facilitated proton transfer for high-temperature proton-exchange membrane fuel cells显示文摘High-temperature proton-exchange membrane fuel cells(HT-PEMFCs)have shown a broad prospect of applications due to the enhanced reaction kinetics and simplified supporting system.However,the proton conductor,phosphoric acid,tends to poison the active sites of Pt,resulting in high Pt consumption.Herein,Pt nanoparticles anchored on SiO_(2)-modified carbon nanotubes(CNT@SiO_(2)-Pt)are prepared as high-performance cathode catalysts for HT-PEMFCs.The SiO_(2)in CNT@SiO_(2)-Pt can induce the adsorption of phosphoric acid transferring from Pt active sites in the catalytic layer,avoiding the poisoning of the Pt,and the phosphate fixed by SiO_(2)provide a high-speed proton conduction highway for oxygen reduction reactions.Accordingly,The CNT@SiO_(2)-Pt cathode achieve superior power density of 765 mW cm^(−2)(160℃)and 1,061 mW cm^(−2)(220℃)due to the rapid proton-coupled electron process and outstanding stability in HT-PEMFCs.This result provides a new road to resolve the phosphate poisoning for the commercialization of HT-PEMFCs.Gen Huang Yingying Li Shiqian Du Yujie Wu Ru Chen Jin Zhang Yi Cheng Shanfu Lu Li Tao Shuangyin Wang 2021Science China Chemistry2021,64,12:1
19Surface Temperature Changes Projected by FGOALS Models under Low Warming Scenarios in CMIP5 and CMIP6显示文摘To meet the low warming targets proposed in the 2015 Paris Agreement,substantial reduction in carbon emissions is needed in the future.It is important to know how surface climates respond under low warming targets.The present study investigates the surface temperature changes under the low-forcing scenario of Representative Concentration Pathways(RCP2.6)and its updated version(Shared Socioeconomic Pathways,SSP1-2.6)by the Flexible Global Ocean-Atmosphere-Land System(FGOALS)models participating in phases 5 and 6 of the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project(CMIP5 and CMIP6,respectively).In both scenarios,radiative forcing(RF)first increases to a peak of 3 W m^−2 around 2045 and then decreases to 2.6 W m^−2 by 2100.Global mean surface air temperature rises in all FGOALS models when RF increases(RF increasing stage)and declines or holds nearly constant when RF decreases(RF decreasing stage).The surface temperature change is distinct in its sign and magnitude between the RF increasing and decreasing stages over the land,Arctic,North Atlantic subpolar region,and Southern Ocean.Besides,the regional surface temperature change pattern displays pronounced model-to-model spread during both the RF increasing and decreasing stages,mainly due to large intermodel differences in climatological surface temperature,ice-albedo feedback,natural variability,and Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation change.The pattern of tropical precipitation change is generally anchored by the spatial variations of relative surface temperature change(deviations from the tropical mean value)in the FGOALS models.Moreover,the projected changes in the updated FGOALS models are closer to the multi-model ensemble mean results than their predecessors,suggesting that there are noticeable improvements in the future projections of FGOALS models from CMIP5 to CMIP6.Shang-Min LONG Kai-Ming HU Gen LI Gang HUANG Xia QU 2021Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2021,38,2:1
