1TP53-induced glycolysis and apoptosis regulator alleviates hypoxia/ischemia-induced microglial pyroptosis and ischemic brain damage显示文摘Our previous studies have demonstrated that TP53-induced glycolysis and apoptosis regulator(TIGAR)can protect neurons after cerebral ischemia/reperfusion.However,the role of TIGAR in neonatal hypoxic-ischemic brain damage(HIBD)remains unknown.In the present study,7-day-old Sprague-Dawley rat models of HIBD were established by permanent occlusion of the left common carotid artery followed by 2-hour hypoxia.At 6 days before induction of HIBD,a lentiviral vector containing short hairpin RNA of either TIGAR or gasdermin D(LV-sh_TIGAR or LV-sh_GSDMD)was injected into the left lateral ventricle and striatum.Highly aggressively proliferating immortalized(HAPI)microglial cell models of in vitro HIBD were established by 2-hour oxygen/glucose deprivation followed by 24-hour reoxygenation.Three days before in vitro HIBD induction,HAPI microglial cells were transfected with LV-sh_TIGAR or LV-sh_GSDMD.Our results showed that TIGAR expression was increased in the neonatal rat cortex after HIBD and in HAPI microglial cells after oxygen/glucose deprivation/reoxygenation.Lentivirusmediated TIGAR knockdown in rats markedly worsened pyroptosis and brain damage after hypoxia/ischemia in vivo and in vitro.Application of exogenous nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate(NADPH)increased the NADPH level and the glutathione/oxidized glutathione ratio and decreased reactive oxygen species levels in HAPI microglial cells after oxygen/glucose deprivation/reoxygenation.Additionally,exogenous NADPH blocked the effects of TIGAR knockdown in neonatal HIBD in vivo and in vitro.These findings show that TIGAR can inhibit microglial pyroptosis and play a protective role in neonatal HIBD.The study was approved by the Animal Ethics Committee of Soochow University of China(approval No.2017LW003)in 2017.Lan-Lan Tan Xiao-Lu Jiang Li-Xiao Xu Gen Li Chen-Xi Feng Xin Ding Bin Sun Zheng-Hong Qin Zu-Bin Zhang Xing Feng Mei Li 2021Neural Regeneration Research2021,16,6:9

3Analysis and Design of Vector Control for VSC-HVDC Connected to Weak Grids显示文摘Voltage source converter based high voltage direct current transmission(VSC-HVDC)is considered one of the most suitable technologies to integrate renewable energies.However,connecting VSC to a weak grid is challenging since traditional vector control tends to become unstable under high power demand conditions.In this paper,an improved vector control method is proposed wherein a feed forward branch based on steady state and small signal analysis of the VSC system is added under weak grid situations.The feed forward branch promotes faster reactive power response,thus enhancing the stability of the VSC system.Since the improved vector control uses the same inner loop as traditional vector control,the proposed method allows for the ability to retain fault current suppression capabilities.Furthermore,the control parameters of the outer loop of the improved vector control need not vary according to the variation of the operating points,which makes it easy to implement.The feed forward branch is implemented by solving a nonlinear equation or through use of a look-up table.The influence of the estimation errors of short circuit ratio(SCR)on the control performance is also studied.The effectiveness of the improved vector control is demonstrated through small signal model analysis and time domain simulations.Guanglu Wu Jun Liang Xiaoxin Zhou Yalou Li Agusti Egea-Alvarez Gen Li Hongying Peng Xing Zhang 2017CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2017,3,2:3

6中国路南石林地区钙华年代测定及其意义显示文摘中国云南路南是高原型喀斯特发育最为典型的区域之一,“石林喀斯特”最为著名。该区域喀斯特演化历史及其特点充分反映了云南东部地区在喜马拉雅运动期地壳活动的特征。石林喀斯特化过程中,形成了众多的钙质淀积物,包括河滩钙华、瀑布钙华、湖滩钙华、洞穴钙华及第三系硫酸盐岩。位于不同海拔高度的石林地貌及其间的洞穴钙华,代表了石林发育的不同阶段和过程:地壳抬升-溶蚀、侵蚀-再抬升、钙华沉积。湖滩钙华和河滩钙华的堆积特征也反映了这段历史。准确地确定钙华形成的年龄,便可详细研究石林地区石林喀斯特的演化历史,定量分析地壳抬升幅度和活动规律。作者在运用地质-地貌分析判别基础上,对钙质淀积物系统取样,采用电子自旋共振法(ESR)测定钙华年龄,分别为:315.063万年、135.020万年、92.2±1.6万年、32.9±2.3—27.0±1.4万年、18.4±0.8万年、14.2士0.2万年、7.9±0.4万年、4.8±0.5万年。据此确定了本区喀斯特演化的主要时期。经与大区域测年研究数据相比较,具有很好的一致性。这批数据的地质意义:(1)ESR测年是研究钙华年代的有效方法;(2)定量研究石林喀斯特演化过程,构成溶蚀形态-沉积序?Gen Hong(Yunnan Provincal Department of Geology and Mineral Resouces)Li Yuhui(Yunnan Educational College)Liu Xing(Kunming University of Science and Technology)LiangYongning(Kunming University of Science and Technology)Yang Yanhua(Yunnan Monitoring Station 1996云南地质1996,15,4:1
7Static magnetic field analysis of hollow-cup motor model and bow-shaped permanent magnet design显示文摘The hollow-cup Permanent Magnet(PM) motors have the characteristics of low power consumption, and are widely used in the aerospace field. At present, the tile-shaped PMs used by hollow-cup PM motors have poor sinusoidal characteristics of the air gap magnetic flux density waveform, which will cause torque ripple. The existing method for improving the air gap magnetic flux density waveform is not very effective when applied to hollow cup, a special motor with no stator core and large air gap. A bow-shaped PMs structure is designed for the hollow-cup motor in this paper. First, the equivalent surface current method is used to calculate the analytical formula of the static magnetic field of the model. Then, the Finite Element(FE) method is used to calculate the static air gap flux density waveform of conventional tile-shaped PMs and bow-shaped PMs with different bow heights, and the corresponding harmonics and sine distortion are obtained by Fourier decomposition. The simulation results show that the bow-shaped PMs can effectively improve the sinusoidal characteristics of the static air gap flux density waveform. And the suitable bow height is determined. 8A Node Splitting Interface Algorithm for Multi-rate Parallel Simulation of DC Grids显示文摘With wider applications of power electronic devices in modern power systems,simulation using traditional electro-mechanical and electromagnetic simulation tools suffer from low speed and imprecision.Multi-rate technologies can greatly improve simulation efficiency by avoiding simulating the entire system using a small time-step.However,the drawbacks of the current synchronization mechanisms is that they introduce numerical errors and numerical instabilities in multi-rate parallel simulations.An improved multi-rate parallel technology,node splitting interface(NSI),is proposed to reduce errors and enhance simulation stability.A new synchronization mechanism is used to avoid prediction and signal delays.Theoretical analyses are carried out to prove the convergence and absolute stability of the proposed NSI algorithm.This algorithm is particularly suitable for simultaneously investigating long term dynamics of DC grids and fast transients of power electronic converters.Qing Mu Jun Liang Xiaoxin Zhou Gen Li Xing Zhang 2018CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2018,4,3:1
9Fungal diversity notes 253-366:taxonomic and phylogenetic contributions to fungal taxa显示文摘Notes on 113 fungal taxa are compiled in this paper,including 11 new genera,89 new species,one new subspecies,three new combinations and seven reference specimens.Awide geographic and taxonomic range of fungal taxa are detailed.In the Ascomycota the new genera Angustospora(Testudinaceae),Camporesia(Xylariaceae),Clematidis,Crassiparies(Pleosporales genera incertae sedis),Farasanispora,Longiostiolum(Pleosporales genera incertae sedis),Multilocularia(Parabambusicolaceae),Neophaeocryptopus(Dothideaceae),Parameliola(Pleosporales genera incertae sedis),and Towyspora(Lentitheciaceae)are introduced.Newly introduced species are 15Primary sigmoid squamous cell carcinoma with liver metastasis:A case report显示文摘BACKGROUND The pathological type of simple squamous carcinoma in colorectal malignancies is rare.Simple squamous cell carcinoma of the colorectum occurs most frequently in the rectum.The clinicopathological features and biological behaviors of squamous colorectal carcinoma are unclear,and its prognosis may be worse than that of simple adenocarcinoma.Studies on squamous colorectal cancer are currently limited to case reports,and there is no standard treatment protocol.Therefore,more case reports are required to fully understand squamous colorectal cancer.CASE SUMMARY We reported the case of a 56-year-old woman who complained of constipation for 2 years.Colonoscopy revealed a sigmoid colon tumor,and the pathological result of colonoscopy was squamous carcinoma.After completing the relevant assessment,the patient was clinically diagnosed with cT4aN0M0,stage IIB,and surgery was performed.Based on postoperative pathological results,the patient was diagnosed with pT4bN0M0,stage IIC.Six cycles of adjuvant chemotherapy were administered after surgery.Liver metastasis and abdominal wall mass were found more than 1 mo after the end of the last chemotherapy session.Targeted local treatment was not performed because the liver had multiple metastases,but I^(125) particle implantation of the abdominal wall mass was performed.Two cycles of first-line chemotherapy were administered after the surgery.The patient underwent 14 mo of treatment and eventually died from the tumor.CONCLUSION Squamous carcinoma of sigmoid colon is a rare tumor with unclear pathogenesis.Its clinicopathological diagnosis should be paid close attention.Xin-Yang Li Gen Teng Xing Zhao Cui-Min Zhu 2022World Journal of Clinical Cases2022,10,14:0
16Epidemiological characteristics and clinical manifestations of pediatric patients with COVID-19 in China: A multicenter retrospective study显示文摘Importance:The Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)global pandemic poses a considerable challenge for pediatricians.Objective:This study aimed to identify the epidemiological characteristics and clinical features of pediatric patients with COVID-19 in China.Methods:This multicenter retrospective study included pediatric patients from 46 hospitals in China,covering 12 provinces and two municipalities.Epidemiological,demographic,clinical,laboratory,treatment,and outcome data were analyzed.Results:In total,211 pediatric patients with COVID-19 were included in this study.The median age was 7.0 years(range:22 days to 18 years).Approximately 16.3%of the patients exhibited asymptomatic infections,23.0%had upper respiratory tract infections,and 60.7%had pneumonia,including two with severe pneumonia and one with critical illness.Approximately 78.7%of the pediatric patients occurred in familial clusters.The most three common symptoms or signs at onset in children with COVID-19 were fever(54.5%),cough(49.3%),and pharyngeal congestion(20.8%).Only 17.6%of the patients presented with decreased lymphocyte count,whereas 13.6%had increased lymphocyte count.Among the patients with pneumonia who exhibited abnormal chest computed tomography findings,18.2%(23/127)of the patients had no other symptoms.Generally,the chest radiographs showed abnormalities that affected both lungs(49.6%);ground-glass opacity(47.2%)was the most common manifestation.The cure and improvement rates were 86.7%(183/211)and 13.3%(28/211),respectively.Only one patient with an underlying condition received invasive mechanical ventilation;none of the patients died.Interpretation:Similar to adults,children of all age groups are susceptible to COVID-19.Fortunately,most pediatric patients have mild symptoms or remain asymptomatic,despite the high incidence of pneumonia.Decreased proportions of white blood cells and lymphocytes are less frequent in children than in adults.Yan Bai Liwei Gao Xianfeng Wang Lili Zhong Jingfeng Li Shenggang Ding Yuejie Zheng Jun Liu Yuxia Cui Lina Wang Mingfeng Han Jun Liu Xinping Jiang Min Jiang Junhua Li Ning Chen Yunxiao Shang Hourong Zhou Yi Xu Gen Lu Xing Chen Jizhi Xu Qihong Fan Yu Tang Jiang Wu Cen Li Xiaoxiang Yang Chunxi Chen Yonghong Yang Gary Wing-Kin Wong Adong Shen Tianyou Wang Runming Jin Baoping Xu Kunling Shen 2021Pediatric Investigation2021,5,3:0
17Volum etric Properties of Sodium Chlorobenzoatein N,N-Dim ethylform am ide/waterMixtures at 298.15K显示文摘Densities of sodium chlorobenzoate( o , m , p ) were measured in solutions up to 80 weight percent dimethylformamide(DMF) at 298 15 K with an oscillating tube densimeter. From these densities, apparent molar volumes of sodium chlorobenzoate in DMF H 2O mixtures were calculated, and partial molar volumes at infinite dilution were evaluated. Substituent and solvent effects on transfer volumes of each isomer from water to DMF H 2O mixed solvents were obtained.
