| 1 | The impact of climate change on forest fire danger rating in China’s boreal forest显示文摘The Great Xing'an Mountains boreal forests were focused on in the northeastern China.The simulated future climate scenarios of IPCC SRES A2a and B2a for both the baseline period of 1961-1990 and the future scenario periods were downscaled by the Delta Method and the Weather Generator to produce daily weather data.After the verification with local weather and fire data,the Canadian Forest Fire Weather Index System was used to assess the forest fire weather situation under climate change in the study region.An increasing trend of fire weather severity was found over the 21st century in the study region under the both future climate change scenarios,compared to the 1961-1990 baseline period.The annual mean/maximum fire weather index was predicted to rise continuously during 2010-2099,and by the end of the 21st century it is predicted to rise by 22%-52% across much of China's boreal forest.The significant increases were predicted in the spring from of April to June and in the summer from July to August.In the summer,the fire weather index was predicted to be higher than the current index by as much as 148% by the end of the 21st century.Under the scenarios of SRES A2a and B2a,both the chance of extremely high fire danger occurrence and the number of days of extremely high fire danger occurrence was predicted to increase in the study region.It is anticipated that the number of extremely high fire danger days would increase from 44 days in 1980s to 53-75 days by the end of the 21st century. | YANG Guang DI Xue-ying GUO Qing-xi SHU Zhan ZENG Tao YU Hong-zhou WANG Chao | 2011 | Journal of Forestry Research2011,22,2: | 12 |
| 2 | Transarterial chemoembolization with hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy plus S-1 for hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘BACKGROUND Transarterial chemoembolization(TACE)and hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy(HAIC)have shown promising local benefits for advanced hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).S-1,a composite preparation of a 5-fluorouracil prodrug,has proven to be a convenient oral chemotherapeutic agent with definite efficacy against advanced HCC.AIM To evaluate the efficacy and safety of TACE followed by HAIC with or without oral S-1 for treating advanced HCC.METHODS In this single-center,open-label,prospective,randomized controlled trial,117 participants with advanced HCC were randomized to receive TACE followed by oxaliplatin-based HAIC either with(TACE/HAIC+S-1,n=56)or without(TACE/HAIC,n=61)oral S-1 between December 2013 and September 2017.Two participants were excluded from final analysis for withdrawing consent.The primary endpoint was progression-free survival(PFS)and secondary endpoints included overall survival(OS),objective response rate,disease control rate and safety.RESULTS In total,115 participants(100 males and 15 females;mean age,57.7 years±11.9)were analyzed.The median PFS and OS were 5.0 mo(0.4–58.6 mo)(95%confidence interval(CI):3.82 to 6.18)vs 4.4 mo(1.1–54.4 mo)(95%CI:2.54 to 6.26;P=0.585)and 8.4 mo(0.4–58.6 mo)(95%CI:6.88 to 9.92)vs 8.3 mo(1.4–54.4 m)(95%CI:5.71 to 10.96;P=0.985)in the TACE/HAIC+S-1 and TACE/HAIC groups,respectively.The objective response rate and disease control rate were 30.9%vs 18.4%and 72.7%vs 56.7%in the TACE/HAIC+S-1 and TACE/HAIC groups,respectively.Grade 3/4 adverse events had a similar frequency in both treatment groups.CONCLUSION No improvements in tumor response rates,PFS or OS were observed with the addition of S-1 to TACE/HAIC in advanced HCC.Both treatment regimens had a similar safety profile. | Jian-Hai Guo Shao-Xing Liu Song Gao Fu-Xin Kou Xin Zhang Di Wu Xiao-Ting Li Hui Chen Xiao-Dong Wang Peng Liu Peng-Jun Zhang Hai-Feng Xu Guang Cao Lin-Zhong Zhu Ren-Jie Yang Xu Zhu | 2020 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2020,26,27: | 3 |
| 3 | Ti^(3+) self-doped TiO_(2) as a photocatalyst for cyclohexane oxidation under visible light irradiation显示文摘Most of TiO_(2) particles can be used as a photocatalyst for the selective oxidation of cyclohexane under ultraviolet light illumination.In this paper,Ti^(3+) self-doped TiO_(2) submicron-sized particles(i.e.,Ti^(3+)/TiO_(2) SMP)were used as a catalyst for visible-light driven photocatalytic cyclohexane oxidation.The microstructure and properties of the Ti^(3+)/TiO_(2) SMP were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),UVevisible diffuse reflection(UVeVis DRS),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),electron paramagnetic resonance(EPR),solid-state photoluminescence spectroscopy(PLS)and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).The Ti^(3+)/TiO_(2) SMP exhibits good visible-light driven photocatalytic performances for cyclohexane oxidation with cyclohexanone as a dominate product.Effects of solvent,reaction temperature,reaction time and oxygen pressure on the formation of cyclohexanone were investigated.The cyclohexane oxidation over the Ti^(3+)/TiO_(2) SMP photocatalyst using carbon tetrachloride as a solvent under the optimal conditions presents a greater selectivity to cyclohexane(i.e.,95.1%).Based on the controlled experimental results with different radical scavengers,the hole(h^(+))is critical for the activation of cyclohexane. | Ping Wen Ying Zhang Guang Xu Di Ma Ping Qiu Xiaoxia Zhao | 2019 | Journal of Materiomics2019,5,4: | 3 |
| 4 | Effect of Organic Manure,Passivator and Their Complex on the Bioavailability of Soil Cd显示文摘A field experiment of organic manure,passivator and their complex was conducted to study the soil Cd bioavailability in the Cd polluted paddy soil. The results showed that the rice yield increased with the applications of organic manure,passivator and their complex,especially,the rice yields of applying 3 000 and 6 000 kg / hm2 of organic manure increased significantly by 18. 6%( P < 0. 05) and 20. 9%( P < 0. 05) because of the increase of rice economic coefficient. There had no significant change of the soil p H values and the soil available Cd contents,but the Cd distribution ratios in rice were lowered by applying organic manure,and the Cd contents of rice applying 3 000 and 6 000 kg / hm2 of organic manure dropped by 14. 3%( P > 0. 05) and 21. 4%( P > 0. 05) compared with chemical fertilizer treatment,respectively. But applying with passivator and passivator fertilized with 3 000 and 6 000 kg / hm2 of organic manure,the soil p H values increased and the soil available Cd contents decreased significantly,so that to restrain the rice's Cd absorption and accumulation. | 7 | Role of carbon in modifying solidification and microstructure of a Ni?based superalloy with high Al and Ti contents显示文摘The effect of carbon ranging from 0.014 to 0.071 wt.%on the solidification and microstructure of a Ni-based superalloy with high Al and Ti contents was studied.The results show that the increase in carbon addition significantly increases the size and volume fraction of MC carbides and promotes the change of their morphology from blocky to elongated shape.However,the carbon addition obviously decreases the size and volume fraction of eutectic(γ+γ′)and reducesηphase and borides formation.The change in carbide characteristics is mainly because of the increasing carbide-forming element and carbides precipitation temperature with the increase in carbon which favors the growth of them along the interdendritic liquid film.MC carbides are formed at an earlier solidification stage than the eutectic(γ+γ′).The increased carbide formation consumes more Ti,which delays and reduces the eutectic(γ+γ′)precipitation.The delay of eutectic(γ+γ′)precipitation leads to a deeper undercooling,which significantly decreases the critical Ti concentration for its precipitation.This,in turn,lowers Ti/Al ratio in residual liquids ahead of the eutectic(γ+γ′)and hence reducesηformation subsequently.B and Zr are slightly enriched in the carbides,which are considered during discussing how carbon influences the eutectic(γ+γ′)precipitation. | Guang‑di Zhao Xi‑min Zang Wen‑ru Sun | 2021 | Journal of Iron and Steel Research(International)2021,28,1: | 2 |
